towpath travel plaza in ohio - manager
The manager Joseph Walls personally victimizes those he does not like making routine appearances at the travel plaza. I used to work at the plaza and a few acquaintances of mine have experienced the same treatment. I visit the plaza often to wave to old coworkers and pick up food since it is so close to my house. I refuse to stop going to the plaza if I have not done anything to disrupt the work place. I had a manager named Patricia Nieves previously who used to be around to correct Joe's behavior. However she was transferred and now he is truly disrupting the environment of the plaza. I pay for services and expect fair and equal treatment as a customer, which I do not get when he is manager. Thank you for your time.

I ordered a whopper value meal and asked for a coffee instead of a soda and was told I was not allowed to change my drink, substituting is not allowed, I have never before heard of this I have medical conditions that prevent me from consuming sugar. Since when is it not allowed.

We visited the Roy Rodgers at the New Baltimore rest area yesterday.
The staff was rude, every interaction was as if we were bothering them. The self service setup was very disorganized and the staff was not helpful to assist or lessen the confusion (it was not just my family that was confused or frustrated with staff) They were very snippy and comments were "fresh", not polite customer service at all, plus the place was not clean at all.
The food was cold (except the fires because we got them as soon as they came out) and had no taste.
I deeply regret spending $47. 20 on this "meal". We all walked away so aggravated. I will never buy food at that rest area again.
A desirable outcome in regards to this situation for me would be a full refund. We do not deserve to be treated rudely when ordering our food.

Even with no other customers around I felt like I was inconveniencing the employee at the counter when I asked for a Maui dog. Seems he hates his job. When I put my order in he wouldn't even look up at me. Why employ people like this? Does not bode well for your company.

Had an exchange with a very rude lady as to getting my food - she called #18, of which no one came forward to get their food - I was #28... I patiently waited, I knew that #29 was a "void" - as the cashier told the ladies in back...
when the expediter called #30, and then #31 - I'd been waiting over 10 minutes, so I asked where is order #28 - I finally said something - and was rudely told she called my number - 18... I told her I knew she called 18, but that wasn't my number - She insisted my number was 18 until I showed her my receipt with 4128 on it - then all of a sudden she said she called 28...
I know she didn't - I was waiting right near the counter - I had a flight to catch...
She grabbed the bag that had originally been #18 - asked me what I ordered - and gave me the bacon burger that was in the bag - supposedly with no onions - as I ordered
I did continue to speak with her - but in her mind, I was the one at fault -
I wouldn't of been as upset if I had received a simple -"I'm sorry" - but no - she couldn't be bothered...
At my gate, I finally got a chance to eat - and low and behold, my burger had onions on it! ( to add insult to injury!)
I was very disappointed my experience tonight, and will think twice before going back -
I do apologize for not getting her name - the cashier, Lory, was doing all she could to get the orders taken, fixing the drinks, and being sure all customers were taken care of - not so the expediter!

Stood there for 5 minutes no body ask why finally a person added more burgers to the line so I asked him for the advertised parmesan chicken
sandwich which he told me they had no sauce so I grabbed a chicken sandwich instead. When I got to the register I asked why and the cashier told me they have not had the sandwich for a week due to supplies.
I told them they should cover the sign and they said they had no control of the signs. This is not the answer nor is this acceptable service I expect from Burger King Please do better. Burger KIng store #7611

We asked for no pickle, Our burgers came with pickle, we asked for cheese it came without cheese, 3 times the order was replaced, 3 times it was wrong, all three burgers were stone cold, no apology from staff, just grunts and shrugged shoulders,

There were only 2 people working with a line of 4 in front of us and 8 behind us. The employees were taking their time to get through the line. There was a pilot, 1 co pilot and 2 flight attendants needing them to hurry so they could get back to work.
Usually when we go out to eat, family of 5, it cost about $30. I knew this location would have an inflation, being in an airport. It was $43 and change to eat at tjis particular location.
I could probably justify spending that much if the service was prompt, the order was accurate and upon asking for the order to be fixed I wasn't treated like a hassle.
Lesson learned I guess. Just an expensive lesson to learn.

I ordered a breakfast burger sub black bean burger for beef at smash burger in the Louisville airport this morning. Was very clear that I wanted the egg and bacon. I was even asked if I wanted pepper jack cheese. There was one person in line in front of me at the time. No one behind me when I ordered.
After I received my burger and fries I went to my plane. Imagine my disappointment when I open my burger and it's just a cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato and onion. And Beef!

They weren't busy at all and the cashier took at least 5 minutes to even acknowledge me and wait on me, and then was not friendly at all. I ordered a BLT and was told there was no tomato, was that ok? Well, no not really, but fine, can you add more bacon then since you have no tomato? No, that would be $1 more. Ridiculous.
So a refund of the 7.87 would be an acceptable resolution.

Worst service I've ever seen in twenty plus years of flying for my job. Server didn't bother with bringing drinks, lost my ID card, and generally was just a miserable employee. For $15 dollars a drink you might want to serve your customers a glass of water. I will never ever go back to that restaurant and I will make sure my 251 employees that frequent this airport avoid this place. You should be ashamed. Awful

Bad experience at this particular DD Store. This is what occurred no indication / signage on the counter or anyware this Store doesn't have scanners therefore can't use coupons or loyal customers have no means to use their earned rewards. Service was ridiculous no organization or process resulting in very long wait times, waited over 30 minutes for 2 coffees, 2 breakfast sandwiches and a 25 box of munchkins and I paid full price since I couldn't use coupons or my rewards. Lastly numerous customer orders (we weren't the only ones) were missed due to lack of process and proper management. When I asked to speak with the manager I was told they weren't on sit. Unacceptable business behavior improvements desperately needed.
The drink station was very gross. There was slime hanging from the ice dispenser. The drink station needs to be cleaned!

Melinda was my server. Very unfriendly. I walked in of course and seated myself as the sign said. She asked if I needed a menu. I let her know that I did not, I knew what I wanted. She looked as if I should not have. Placed my order and asked for a water no lemon. She was cleaning and sticking her hands in said lemons without washing them first. It was brought without smile or greeting or anything, just slammed on my table. I'm meal was delivered the same way. I asked for condiments and you would have thought I asked for her first born. In the whole state of Maine, during a two week stay, this was the ONLY time I was treated rudely. I gave her one star because I didn't have the option for none.
unfair work conditions
Worked here for 3 years and 5 months. Got promoted to shift leader almost two years ago! Was told by the manager at the time to
pull banks but i realized I was the only shift leader pulling banks. I have had numerous conversations about changing my pay and my title. And nothing has been done. I was told by me being crossed trained in different stores that my pay will change. I informed my manager that i I will not pull banks anymore until my pay is changed. Im getting paid less then all the other supervisors and that is not fair. I need something to be done because I been working here too long to be treated like this!
And they going to lie and say I never talked to
anybody about it. I have too many witnesses some here and some they are not employed here anymore.
My review was suppose to be done October 24, 2016 and I left for maternity leave. When I returned to work by January 20 and that is when my review was done. I was making 9.50 at the time before this review and now it went up 9.79 and was still told that it was ok to pull banks. That pay came from my manager saying that I was in the back of a store that was connected to that we have to share equipment. Nothing else not that my customer service is wonderful just off that. I am tired of being mistreated and being used and not getting the proper pay.

My daughter and i stopped for chicken at this restaurant 8 pieces of chicken and one large green beans. The green beans was horrid and the chicken was blood red on the inside. Had to change the green beans to the red beans and rice. The blood red chicken was thrown away.
They should at least have a temp gauge to test the meat to make sure it is well cooked.
Did not enjoy meal at all, was wasted and a waste of money.

Just wanted to let you know about recent experience at Ohio Turnpike rest-stop on July 21 at 1:40 PM
There were 5 of us and rest stop was swamped. Young woman who took our order was pleasant, but clearly out of her depth, with absolutely no sense of urgency. We waited 20 minutes to receive our food once the order was actually placed. The man who was helping make sandwiches seemed to be doing the lion's share of the work. Additionally, there seemed to be one or two employees in the restaurant area who were eating, or reading; clearly on break. however with lines and waits out the door, it probably would have been more appropriate to not be in dining room with all the customers frustrated by slow service.
Additionally there was no coffee in the carafes, and the wastebaskets were overflowing. Generally speaking, the restaurant was a wreck. It seemed like there were not enough staff for the big task at hand.

Incident: we were traveling from indiana to rochester ny. We stopped for on the parkway for a short break and a carryout bite to eat. We purchased a single stromboli for a total cost of $6.30. We thought we were getting something that would be good and tasteful to get us through until dinner. We got back on the road and as we were travelling we opened the bag and started eating the pizza, we quickly became extremely disappointed. The stromboli was extremely dry and inedible. This food item should have never been sold to any customer. As I remember, there was a full line pan of this food item so I am almost certain that we were not the only ones to get served this bad food.
Resolution: get a refund.

Went to the Starbucks before a flight and received the worst service ever! Placed an order for a frappacino and a breakfast sandwich received my drink and was waiting for my sandwich. A flight attendant ordered 3 people ahead of me and was still waiting for her coffee. She stated she needed to go for a flight and all she ordered was a black coffee. The barista looked at her and said "That's not my problem". She asked for her money back because she could no longer wait. I made my way to the pastry counter to continue to wait for my sandwich. The girl bagging the muffins was taking her time in getting orders completed and actually put a cardboard sign to block my view of her. She continued to bag muffins instead of heating sandwiches. 15 minutes go by and I finally see the bag with my name get picked up. She carried the sandwiches back to the drink counter and dropped them at the counter. Walked to get my sandwich and it was gone. I said excuse me but my sandwich was brought over and it's not here. The barista, "That's not my job", so I asked another girl and she went back to Sel, the pastries girl and she looked at me and rolled her eyes and proceeded to slam my sandwich into the microwave. Waited for over 23 minutes and finally received a still frozen sandwich! Not what you would expect from a Starbucks!

I was on my way to Galloway, NJ on the Atlantic City Expressway. I stopped at a Road Hog Food truck and bought a Container of Macaroni and Cheese that was old and hard. Absolutely horrible. The thing that I can't get passed is exactly how is it that the server actually had the gull to even begin to scoop it into a serving container and give it to a customer.
