I was at the Langford location to see about a magnum x7 airless paint sprayer retailing for $545 cdn and was offered $50 off the product by the sales associate working on saturday sept 1. I've found products to be different prices between the victoria and langford locations previously so i went to the University Heights location and was rudely informed they are told NOT to offer contractors discounts and its up to me to find a better price. The paint manager was so ignorant in his refusal to match the discount at the other store, I spoke to the store manager who agreed they wouldnt offer anything and too bad so sad basically. I came to University as its my home store and I do Alot of business there, as a busy renovation contractor. Both store and area managers were so ignorant and condescending I will Never set foot in that location again, but will drive to Langford as I did tonight, and was happily served the discount price by a different employee. I may only be one guy mad over $50 and rude people, but the thousands I spend a month will be gladly accepted elsewhere.

Had to talk to 4 people and 1 supervisor named derek to resolve this repair issue. In fact the repair dealer also called asurion and had to talk to 6 people before he could resolve this issue. To be precise, the warranty form from them stated that lawn mower was covered untiil 03/14/2019 and on the same form the repair was declined. They finally approved after 3 days. Went into the Home Depot in Burton MI to get a quote on how much it would cost to have Home Depot remodel my kitchen and was told by the representative that he had a customer coming in and he didn't really want to help. He didn't want to set up an appointment for us to come back, or anything. Thank God Lowes is right across the street. The rep there took time to go over everything with us and that is why they will be getting our $25K and not Home Depot. I will now always go to Lowes for our home improvement needs.
washer delivery
We ordered a washer to be delivered and installed. When they came out to deliver it the washer wouldn't work. So they had to take it back. However, we had paid to get our old washer taken away so they had moved it to our driveway. Since they had to take back the new washer they didn't have room for the old one and left it in our driveway. Their next delivery date wasn't until 8 days later. So we had to wait 8 days for a washer and personally move our old washer into the garage from the driveway where they left it. Customer service told us they can't do anything. No loaner washer offered. No discount offered. Nothing. In a situation that was out of our control and very frustrating they were zero help and left us for 8 days without a washer in a household with 4 people.

Ordered a kitchen suite, frig, microwave, stove dishwasher. When i ordered it they had it all in stock except dishwasher. Delivery scheduled august 8th. On the 7th, in the evening, they called us to say they could not deliver our order. My husband had already disconnected our appliances, our food was in coolers. Multiple calls were made, plus an instore visit. They said the microwave was not available and the dishwasher was discontinued. We found suitable substitutions. Delivery expected August 15th. On the 14th we called to find out when to expect delivery. They said they had no order. Meanwhile, they have already billed me, and I paid 30.00. We cancelled the order in the store. Nobody cared, no attempt to make things right.
My husband has metastatic cancer and spent his energy getting the appliances disconnected, cleaned, etc. He wanted me to have reliable appliances for when he was gone. Home Depot didnt care. Went online to close my account and get my 30.00 refund. Nothing. On August 21, my door bell rings. Delivery, unaware that the order was cancleed a week prior.
Call to the store manager. Not aware of the issue. No attempt to make it right. Still waiting for refund of 30.00. What should have been an exciting purchase was ruined. I will never shop there for anything again.

In January, I signed a contract for refacing my kitchen cabinets.
It is now the end of August, and the work was almost completed by July, but I have not been reimbursed for the plumbing bills from having to disconnect and connect the kitchen sink (4x). This has been has been miserable experience with the contract people (Hagner-Conley, Lynchburg) who said they would reimburse me for the plumbing bills. I now have 600 dollars worth of plumbing bills and get no response when I ask where my check is. STAY AWAY!
My store folks are excellent, but nothing happens from the Home Depot Interiors contractors, especially their boss, Madison. Beware.

I wanted to share about my displeasure with the truck rental customer service I had Friday Aug 24th and Saturday August 25th Rochester Hills Mi. The service person first didn't not greet me or say Hi. I had to ask for help. He pulled up my reservation and and asked immediately if he could see my AS A card for the discount. I explained to him that I made a mistake but however I was told earlier in the week if my daughter showed her college ID she would get a discount. He told me that's only online reservation. Which is what i did. He offered not further help and then asked me if I wanted a 16 ft truck instead of 12ft that I reserved. He said let me check and walked away for 10 mins. Then comes back and says nothing. I asked him do have have the 12ft truck or not and he says yes but I am not giving you the 10% discount. I asked for a manager and did not acknowledge me. Once I walked to get my truck I asked if they had the 12 blankets that reserved online. There was nine in the truck. He said that he didn't see that on the reservation. Leaves for 10 mins and comes back and throws the blankets in the back and walks away. Horrible customer service . I will recommend to all my family and friend s never to rent from that store.

I made a large purchase from Home Depot for patio doors, exterior door for the garage and a storm door for the back door a total of $3800+ in 2016. it took over 3 months to get installed. We had problems with the back door storm door it was delivered with missing parts then they sent the wrong door I got upset and canceled the order for the door which was credited in 08/2016. This year I decided to give Home depot another chance they sent someone out to measure and then they ordered the door and then we set up for delivery on Wednesday 082218. They come to deliver and install door and why is it they ordered the door in the wrong size and here we are 3m later and I still don't have the door installed mind you my Home depot Credit card is being charged. This is the second time that I ordered the same door and again I am disappointed. I called Home Depot and was advised that door has to be re-ordered and they should have in 3 weeks and then they will set up installation. I have never been so disappointed in any company as I am in the dealing I have had with Home Depot. I really would like the situation resolved and my door installed as soon as possible. Of course I would like the Credit Card situation resolved so I get my full promotional month as interest free for an item I have !

Twice now Citicard who is the broker that holds the Home Depot credit card agreements, has charged us a late fee and have both times adjusted it off as this is an error on their end for NOT listening to us and therefore I have had to waste valuable time in contacting these people for their own mistakes! My issue is that on these two occasions now 2 months in a row, this erroneous conflict has caused my payment to go up each month for what they try to explain as best they possibly can however it is not making deductive sense what so ever! My husband is a mathematician and can not define a clear reason to their madness and inability to make things right.

hurricane shutters
I ordered accordion hurricane shutters from the Home Depot in Coconut Creek, Florida on April 3, 2018. ( Order number [protected].) I was told there was a 12 week lead time for installation. It has been 20 weeks and still no hurricane shutter installation. I received an email from Quijona Yarbrough on July 6, 2018 stating the installation was scheduled for August 20, 2018. I didn't hear from anyone so I called the installation manager listed in the email, Hector Angus. Hector was on vacation and his voice mail referred me to Rody. When I spoke to Rody he couldn't find my work order in the Home Depot system and referred me to another installation manager, John Gamba. John couldn't find the work order either and referred me back to Rody. Rody was helpful and called the corporate office and they were able to locate the work order. The person at corporate said the installation was still scheduled for Monday, August 20, 2018.
I received a call on the day of the scheduled install from the installation company, BAJJ Storm Protection and they said they had to cancel my installation appointment due to a shortage of help and couldn't provide me with another install date.
The reason I chose Home Depot over other vendors was because I always had trust in your company. Please help me get this project completed!

cabinets/ horrible customer service
The Home Depot in Crestwood (Birmingham), AL at 7001 Crestwood Blvd #1300, Birmingham, AL 35210 is a complete joke. We flip houses and spend $100, 000's per year on products and materials at either Home Depot or Lowes. This was my first time buying from this location and rest assured, it will be my last.
We spent around $3, 000 on a small cabinet set that needed to get here within a few weeks. We narrowed it down to Home Depot and Cabinets to go. Cabinets to go could have the cabinets there within 10 days guaranteed. We ended up going with Home Depot because the cabinets were pretty much identical and less expensive. The rep said they would be there within 2 weeks or 3 weeks at the latest. That was on June 13, 2018. It is now August 20, 2018, and no one can tell me when the cabinets will be here. At this point, I think the representative forgot to put the order in.
The main frustration is that NO ONE from the kitchen department will answer the phone when you call. I finally got a manager on the phone last week after I was on hold for 30 minutes. He was very rude and could not tell me when the cabinets were going to arrive. When I asked to cancel the order, he said I would have to pay an additional stocking fee.
I have tried calling today and once again, no one will answer. I called Home Depots customer care and they have got in touch with someone, but they said that the cabinets were supposed to be here already but are not. They cannot provide any information about where they are at, or when they will be here.
This is not the way to do business. I am not going to name drop on the representatives that "helped" me with this order, but it is pretty much the whole kitchen department since no one answers the phone. If these people worked for me, they would have been fired a long time ago.
This time lapse has caused more money from interest and other bills than the cabinets are worth. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!

hampton bay outside furniture
I purchased a Hampton Bay outside furniture about 4 weeks ago. One of the rocking chairs stained my pavers on my outside deck. I already sent pictures to Hampton Bay, but got no response. I just purchased this house and had my outside pavers pressured cleaned. And this rocking chair made several stains. I am very disappointed in this product. And what now even if I return it. Will it do it again. And now I have to pay someone to clean my pavers again. This is ridiculous.

Was at store #357 in Baton Rouge La to purchase a generator. Had to get assistance from associate in lawn and garden to help. Which that took 30 minutes. Once associate arrived to help she went and found the generator on the shelf but needed a forklift to get it down. She couldn't get anyone to help with this. So we had to wait another 45 minutes and finally had to go to customer service to have the store manager Greg called. Once he came he got someone to get it down. While this was happening I was talking with the associate from lawn and garden and she told me that the manager had said to her that they are just gonna wait and that he did not care at all. The lawn and garden associate was upset about the situation also. In all it took us almost 2 hours to get the generator and leave the store. I will not be shopping at store #357 in Baton Rouge again and I will make sure to tell everyone I can that the manager Greg in that store does not care about the customer at all.

I purchased a GE washer in 2015. I bought a 5 year extended warranty on this washer. I scheduled an appointment to have it serviced. The young man came out and could not read the model number and said he was not allowed to service the machine. He said if he called about it...it would void the warranty. Home Depot said I have to have the model number. The plastic it is on is fade and worn. I removed it and placed it on a darker paper. I was able to retrieve the model number and the serial number. I called the appliance maintenance people and told them I had it and how I retrieved it. They then informed me I had voided the warranty. I was told if the tech could not read it they would not service it. I had to send them a picture of the label...which they would not be able to read...and send to GE. I called GE and after a lengthy discussion they agreed it was unreasonable not repair the washer. Despite the regulations involved regarding the removal of the label, they understood I was accommodating everyone to furnish the model number for them. I got a magnifying glass to read it...I have cataracts. Then it was implied even if I could read it ...and the tech could not they could not repair it. GE said they would support me in this because initially I was sent no paper work with the machine and both GE and Home Depot at the time said I would receive it in the mail. Never did. I gave the GE The model number and the serial number and they were able to see I did purchase the machine. I feel that I am being unduly punished and treated unfairly because I di what I needed to get this information for all parties involved. We are a military family and we believe in being honest and fair in all things. This reeks of shady and unreasonable practices and makes me ashamed of the way big business operates. I did not steal this machine and have bent over backwards to show them I bought this washer and the warranty. They have made feel like I am thief and that I am trying to cheat them. GE has believed me and supports me in this position. I am proud they are honest and fair. The rest leave a lot to be desired. GE said to again approach Home Depot and escalate this complaint. I have every intention to let everyone know how unreasonable this is.
Nothing resolved. I could not make any headway with this complaint. Several people tried to help, but to no avail. It is what it is. That is fine. I bought a new washer and am very happy with the purchase. I did not buy it from Home Depot. I wish all peace and a good day.
insulated garage door and opener
I bought /Paid for an insulated door with up-graded rollers and rails with a heavy duty electric opener on June 20th/2018, the installer inspected my garage June 25th and it was declared good to install in later July. No action and installer would not answer phone so I went to the Store on Circle Drive Saskatoon for a refund and was told an e-mail would be sent to the installer and CC'd myself, which happened as the door was supposed to be installed Wed. July 25th. I was promised an August 13th phone call from Dan from Circle Drive Home Depot on August 13th, typically the call was not made. Apparently my door only arrived August 10th to the Saskatoon Ware-house and I had been lied to all along. I was also told I could not take the door myself and hire a PROFESSIONAL installer, one lie after another and no one will call me back or take my call. I bought 2 gallons of pain in the same exact color. My painter worked long hours to paint the living room and I paid him $300. I waited till next day for paint to dry and to my shock the wall had 2 different shades of grey. I checked the cans and it had the exact same color name yet looked so different on the wall. Whoever was mixing the paint in the store made a mistake. I go back to store and explain the situation. The associate makes a comment "people come here all the time after they are done with painting and request refund, some of them mix the paint on purpose and want their money back". It was offensive as she was implying I mixed the paint on purpose. She also said "it is your painters fault for not recognizing they are different shades" I buy 2 exact same cans of exact same color so I expect them to look the same. I even showed them the photo I took of the walls. It looked awful. They gave me the money back for the paint. No one apologized for the mistake. They claim it never happened before. I wasted time and money and they had treated me awfully. The lady at the paint station had an attitude and did not take any responsibility for the mistake. I also spoke to the manager who offered new paint. I said I need to hire the painter again and ask him which paint to get to cover that horrible wall. They did not care nor apologized. Gave me money back for the paint like they were doing me a big favor. Yet, I am out $300 due to HOME DEPOT's MISTAKE.

I arrived at my local Home Depot approximately at 9 am this morning, August 15th. I had with me a gallon of cement floor paint that I had purchased from this Home Depot about a month ago and had not used yet because I am in a boot from a fall. I was there to get another gallon of matching paint. I expected to wait, but the wait was considerable and I was standing on my broken foot and I felt I was being ignored. When it was finally my turn, the color number was taken off the lid of the gallon I had brought from home and a gallon was produced which was a yellowish color whereas my paint was in the brown family. The woman mixing the paint said that the original label was wrong and she showed me a color palate and asked what color it was suppose to be. I was not sure so she decided it was a shade of brown, mixed up a gallon of that paint and it was far from the correct color. I asked if she could at least make the colors the same at this point and mentioned that I was standing on a broken foot and I did not want to have to come back. She and another woman continued trying to match the color but to no avail...After a full hour had passed I was very ill from the foot pain and said please just make the colors of the 2 gallons match so I do not have to come back. I finally just accepted the 2 gallons which in my opinion do not match but I was too weary to wait any longer or come back to get another gallon. No one apologized to me or said much of anything. I think ad minimum I was owed an apology and a discount because of the mistake was totally the fault of the Home Depot's personnel. I am not normally a litigious person, but this was horrible customer service and the service people were more concerned with flirting with the male customers than getting my order correct.
