Order pickup
I ordered a toilet and seal on 12/11/2022 at 12;30 pm. I was told by email they would let me know when it would be available to pick up at the store In Grand Junction Co. we waited all day, no text no email, finely we called and they said it was ready for pickup at 5:30 pm, also got an email it was ready for pickup. We went the next morning at 8:am to pick it up and was told the order was cancelled due to no stock. We wasted an entire day to get the toilet only to go and be told it was not there, I am so upset, I will never and I mean never shop at Home Depot again ever, they don't care about their customers at all. We had to find it at Lowes, and again ordered it online at 10:00 am on Dec 12, just got an email and text it was ready at 11:00 am. Now that is excellent customer service. I also called the store manager at Home Depot and he of course is never available They lost a good customer, in the past year I have purchased a gas range, a fridge and lots of other in store items, Never again. My credit card was charged and still no reversed, so now I have to go fight that.
Desired outcome: A phone call from store manager, a complete reversal of all charges on my credit card and at least an apology and a reason why employees are so poorly trained in customer service.

Today (December 11, 2022) I visited the Home Depot located at 6119 FM 1488 in Magnolia Texas. I frequent this store often, as it is close to my home. The time on the receipt states 03:05PM.
Now I understand self-checkout is the way most stores are going. I don’t agree with it, but I accept it. What I do not accept, however, are the 3 Home Depot employees who were standing directly in front of the self-checkout lanes, blocking the customers, while laughing and carrying on with their gossip and side conservations. They were oblivious to the customers who were essentially doing the job they used to do before that burden fell to the customers. Is this what the employees are being paid for nowadays? This is not the first time I have witnessed such actions.
Furthermore, one of the employees was blindly swinging a lanyard full of keys, and either didn’t notice or didn’t care if others were around. He came within inches of hitting my 5-year-old son in the head with his keys. I had to loudly say something to warn him there were actually real people around. Has anyone witnessed what a lanyard of keys can do to a 5-year-olds face? I have not, but can imagine it’s something one would not want to see.
From this day forward, I will go out of my way to shop elsewhere for my home repair needs. I cannot imagine spending my hard-earned money here anymore.

3/4 HP garbage disposal
I purchased this disposal at home depot. When the installer went to put it in it did not fit. I tried to return it. My drivers license was expired. So I got a new valid drivers license and attempted to return the item today. I do not have a receipt as it was originally purchased in July/August 2022. They refused to accept the return for even store credit! I bought my $2500 refrigerator here; purchased and installed a new front door here; and am still waiting for my new sliding glass door-they mismeasured for the first door and now the second one won't be here until January. The reason they gave me was that too many people were returning items that were possibly stolen and getting store credit. I purchased it here! I know you have records of EVERY transaction. You're just not willing to go the extra mile when it's a good customer like myself. I am disgusted with your lame excuses for not accepting a legitimate item that I legitimately purchased at your store! OUTRAGEOUS

Ordered LG kitchen appliances set on 11/14/2022 delivered three LG appliances and one GE stove on 11/26/2022 Order # H3204-133199 Receipt # [protected] went to the store next day to resolve and was told wouldn't replace since I turned it on not cook but turned on. Bottom line very unhappy with the whole ordeal paid for dishwasher removal and installation still in the box in my kitchen now I have to hire a plumber take time off from work. If I could return it all I would and go somewhere else. I expect some type of compensation for all the hassle so far and it's still not over. Yours truly Brian one very unsatisfied customer.

Delivery of a garage ready 14.2 cu. ft. frost free upright freezer in white
On November 28, 2022 I placed in store order for the above freezer. I was told that if the store delivered, there would be a 79.00 shipping charge. From the warehouse there would be free delivery. I was given a delivery date of December 9. I was ok with this date. On December 9th I received a email stating that I was 10 on the list. I would get updates showing that I was now 5 then I received on saying there was 1 ahead of me. I finally received a call saying that they would be delivering it in 30 minutes. I was waiting for them and received a email stating that - We couldn't complete your delivery!. When I called they said they would call me back as soon as they could figure out why it was delivered. I was told it might still be on the dock and didn't make it on the truck and that I would be given a call once they knew what happen and to reschedule the delivery. I received a call on December 10th asking if the new delivery date was acceptable. I didn't know that I had a date until then. The rep told me that the new date for delivery was December 20th. This date is not acceptable. If I would of know it was going to take a month to delivery I would of never purchased the freezer from Home Depot. I would like to cancel, but I purchased with a gift e-card and was told it had to go back on the e-card. This is not acceptable since this happen to me before, and I would like to purchase freezer from another store that delivers when they say will.
Desired outcome: A refund not on e-card. I would like to have the freezer delivered on Monday, December 12th or a check for the amount of the purchase.

I usually shop at your competitor however your store is very close to my home. I simply wanted to get a few bags of wood pellets to try at your store. when I could not find any I asked a fella named John if he could help me. He said that they were up in the steel and no one could drive the lift. Really? so I politely asked to speak to a manager. he then asked me if I had tried shopping at Tractor supply company... this is where our customer service is at? At this point another older lady was also looking and with no success. she also tried to find the manager on duty and again no success. I am not sure how you attract a new customer but I am pretty sure this is not the way. I am in the retail world but would never give this kind of customer service. I am a manager for Bass Pro Shops and as a manager, I am always available. the disappointment was not about the pellets being sold out, I assume because they were not located, but just some courteous customer service, not being asked if I had tried elsewhere, and no manger to be found. Probably will not return to support your company.

Appliance delivery

We ordered an LG oven and microwave on 11/09. The first delivery was supposed to be 11/12 which was a no show and upon calling was told that it was never scheduled, we scheduled on HomeDepot.com.
The next delivery was scheduled for 11/19 which was also a no show, upon calling we were told the products arrived after the truck left, no one called us.
The 3rd scheduled day was 11/30, again a no show. Upon calling the said they were sent a picture of our community gate and we were no accessed, again no call and the gate code is on the order per your representative.
The 4th attempt was supposed to be 12/9, we called to verify on 12/08 and we were told that we were told the 14 which is a complete lie. I could not get off until the 9th and my wife is having surgury on the 14th so we would never have scheduled for that day.
The first customer service rep hung up on me and after I called back, I was told there is nothing that can be done. I asked for a manager and was told by him that they would escalate to "the highest level: and would be called on the 9th. Of course, no notes are on the order to say this even happened.
we are now scheduled for 12/26 and I have absolutely no trust that this will happen.
I have never had such a hard time getting something that I have paid for and cannot understand how this is even close to acceptable.
I feel like no one cares about this and while the associated, except for 2, have been nice and I have treated every one of them with respect, there is nothing they seem to be able to do.
I will never order another thing for Home Depot again

I purchased a gift for my husband I am a Home Depot credit card holder and my husband received an email thanking him for his purchase of a husky 46 inch drawer mechanical workbench and a four drawer mechanical cart along with pegboard and other miscellaneous item total sale was $645.70 before tax and now my husband knows exactly what he’s getting for Christmas. I don’t understand since it’s my account I am the card holder my husband is not linked to my credit card or email why it was sent to him. Harassed by employee
I was shopping at the Lake Geneva, WI Home Depot Tue 12/06/2022 around 8:30 pm. I was in the self-checkout line and wearing a N95 mask because I have a compromised immune system - Any significant infectious disease could result in serious illness or death. The checkout clerk (older woman in a pink wrist cast) came over to me and started harassing me about wearing a mask. When I asked her if she were a doctor, she said she is a nurse who is an expert in infectious diseases, her husband is a doctor, and that N95 masks are useless because they let all the germs through. I know the last statement is not true and I doubt that her first two statements are true. I continued my checkout and left the store. I will shop elsewhere in the future.
Desired outcome: Please tell your employees to not harass people who choose to wear masks in public places. It is inappropriate.
I realized it's not worth stressing about, so am letting it go.
Maytag washer
I purchased a Maytag washing machine in September. The new washer was delivered and then immediately started shaking. Home De-to sent out a replacement machine. This machine was scratched on the front but seemed to function so I accepted it. 2 months later it stored shaking and showed an error code F7E1. Maytag came out to service the machine and founf]d it needed a new motor, rotator and 2 other parts. The machine was also leaking a oil fluid from the bottom. The Maytag repair man noted that the machine appeared to be used and several years old - this was after lifting it up and viewing the bottom.
He then ordered new parts that have taken 3 weeks : (Home Depot after repeated phone calls (waiting on hold for up to 40 mins) said to wait for the parts. This is unacceptable! The machine is only 2 moths old :/ bring used several times a week and on the weekends. I ended up having to buy another machine : (from Lowes - I can’t be without a washer! So disappointed in Home Depits handling of this issue!

Store Credit
Was wondering if anything can be done regarding a lost store credit card. I think something can be done about it. Because of your store policy when paying with store credit issued card you have to show proof of ownership with driver's license. Why can't the card be reissued? It just seems unreasonable policy. My son misplaced a store credit that couldn't be put on his Home Depot Credit Card. So was issued a store credit card. There were hundreds of dollars on that card. Was wondering if you can reissue a new card.

Poor delivery service, poor, manufacturing, poor customer service
A couple of weeks ago I bought a refrigerator, washer and dryer from Home Depot. On December 2, when they arrived the Whirlpool dryer was dented, so I refused it and would have to wait for a new dryer. It's standard practice for the delivery men to to run the washing machine after it's all hooked up to rinse out any oils or debris from the manufacturing process. After they left, I discovered the new GE washer had spewed water all over my wood floor. The discharge hose was correctly inserted into the drain, the water came from the base of the poorly constructed machine.
By now, I'm not happy and decided to cancel the purchase of both the washer and the dryer (which was already on it's way back to the warehouse). I call the Home Depot 800 major appliance hotline, go through the phone tree and explain that I'm returning both units and want my money re-credited back onto my Visa. I am told they will have to call both manufacturers to arrange the return.
I am placed on hold, and after five minutes, the line is disconnected and I am forced to call back a second time, go through the phone tree, and explain the whole thing to a different agent. I am placed on hold a second time, and again after five minutes, I am disconnected. I call Home Depot for a third time, go through the process again, and am put on hold for a third time.
As we approach five minutes, I get a new message which gives me the option of talking to a manager. I take this option, whereby I am transferred back to the Home Depot in Bristol, VA, where I get an employee who tells me I have to call Home Depot's 800 Appliance Hotline. and there's nothing she can or will do to help me.
I call the 800 number for a FOURTH time, and finally get a woman who explains that the call waiting system automatically disconnects calls after five minutes. Atrocious customer service! It's a system problem that nobody cares enough to fix! At least this lady keeps checking back with me to avoid the call being disconnected, but I am forced to wait 47 minutes as she contacts both manufacturers. Then I'm told I'll have to wait until December 16th for them to come and pick-up the malfunctioning GE washer.
So I'm stuck with no washer and dryer until after that date because my house is not big enough to hold a broken GE washer and a new washer and dryer I'll buy elsewhere. If I hire someone to put the washer outside in freezing temperatures, the water left in the machine will freeze and GE will likely contest my return and refuse to give me a full refund. So I'm screwed. Does Home Depot care? Nope. Not al all, because this is now between me and the manufacturer.
Want further proof of Home Depot's level of customer service? Last week I contacted the store to get a quote on replacing my front and back door, and they never called back! I called both Lowes and Home Depot on Friday of last week. Lowes had someone call on Tuesday, and estimator was here Wednesday, and I signed the contract with them.
Lesson learned: Don't do business with Home Depot, because they are poorly managed and their customer service is non existent. Once they have your money, they simply do not care.
Desired outcome: A Explanation, and apology, a discount on my refrigerator. Some means of saying hey our systems are poorly designed, we screwed up, we wantr to make it better.
After the delivery of my refrigerator
My refrigerator was delivered on Dec.1. The men who delivered it said they would have to take my front door off to bring it in. My old refrigerator came in through the front door with no problem and it was the same size. They took the door off and brought the refrigerator in. They put the door back on and it closed. When I went back out, I had to put the door hard to open it. When I came back in the door wouldn't close, so I had to force it in so it wouldn't be open all night. I call Home Depot about the problem. A manager told he put in an order for it to be fixed. They said I would hear something in about 24 to 48 hours. Meanwhile I tried to get out the door this morning and it won't open at all, so I have to go the basement door to get out of my house. I need this fixed ASSP what if I had a fire how would I get out. They also said that is all they can do. I know contractors do the installing. I should not have to pay for this fix. Can you help me, or tell me how to get in touch with the contractors.
Purchase of dishwasher
On 7-2-22 Myself and a friend went into Home Depot Maple Grove, MN and bought a dishwasher, (No. H2844-122304). My existing dishwasher worked fine, I was just changing out to stainless steel. I came into the store with the intent of putting $400. cash and financing the rest on a Home Depot Credit Card.
The delivery was on time but, the installation was put off twice. Because I stood to have my new dishwasher hanging out in the middle of my kitchen for at least two weeks I called a plumber and paid an additional charge to have it installed the next day.
At the time of the original purchase there was additional charges totaling $132.97 in parts and installation. The same person handled the adjustment as did the original purchase.
After the adjustment was made there was a substantial error in the mathematics. He showed me on the original purchase that I had received cash back. Now, I asked this person why would I receive any cash back when there was $400 cash put down.
Somebody either made an aggreges error or, there is a systematic attempt to collect additional funds on the Home Depot Credit Card. Additional state sales tax has also been collected.
My first thought was to contact the Minnesota State Attorney General's Office but first, I thought contacting Home Depot to possibly explain how and why this was done.
Desired outcome: I want this corrected.
In store treatment was horrible and humiliating treatment

Receiving receipts from home depot #1005
I am trying to reach someone at the Home Depot Store #1005. Everytime I place an online order, whereas an item is delivered by store #1005, I have to call for an invoice/receipt. I need a document to match 100% to the charge on my credit card due to auditing. I order for a major University and this is required. Today I have called numerous times trying to reach a manager, since they seem to be the only ones that can print the receipt from their computer and send it to me. The first time, the person I spoke with actually saw the charge and then told me to hold. I assume she forgot about me because after 15 minutes on hold, I had to hang up to go to a meeting. I called back and the person I spoke with told me they would send it to me. After hours of not receiving anything, I called back only to be put on hold, transferred, hung up on, put on hold again and then given a fake number when asked for the number to corporate. If I can't receive an invoice or a receipt for a charge on my credit card that this store obviously charges, they should have nothing to do with my orders. I should not have to call them every single time I have a charge on my card from them. They should automatically send the invoice/receipt when they charge my card. I receive them from the online charges perfectly fine. Please let them know not to change people's credit cards without providing receipts and then play with their time like they have nothing better to do. I will be putting this out if nothing is solved.
Desired outcome: The store needs to immediately provide an invoice/receipt when they charge someone's credit card.
