disrespect from a employee
I am a elderly women and was walking to my car when all of a sudden this man pushing carts screams out with a ungodly noise. Scared me to death. And when I asked him if he was ok, he looked at me and told me to mind my own business and screamed again. This is very disturbing if you have a heart problem, as I do. I returned the following week and was waiting for my husband in my car when I seen this same attendant and he was just standing around and I could hear someone calling for assistance on his walkie talkie asking for Johnny and he ignored the call. About 4 min later I heard it again and this time he shut off the walkie talkie. This employee is very unprofessional and seems like he doesn't want to assist other employees. Beware when going to store on Woodmen and Powers. "1538"

discriminating
Went into bradenton home depot on cortez rd. To purchase a generator and pressure washer to clean my sister's yard and lighting for her wedding. As we were looking for the items an unknown man was following us. Later to know it was loss prevention named scott. Finally we found a nice man to help us with generator. That said it had to be ordered online and will arrive to our house in 2 to 3 days. So me and my husband decided to order both online and still have time to prep for my sister's wedding. We return pressure washer to it's location were we were still being followed. My husband was getting upset and I told him it's ok we know we gonna order online. So we proceeded to our car where the unknown man (scott) followed us. My husband asked him why are u following us. He said he was looking for his car. My husband den told hm. You were following us all inside. (scott) then turned around took a picture of my husband and said you [censor] [censor]... My husband got upset walked up to home depot when we were stopped by so called manager sean. Said we were not aloud in store. And there was no one higher then him to speak to. We told him what happen and did nothing. We told him loss prevention guy to a picture of my husband and called him a spic... My husband felt discriminated and disrespected. Manager never did nothing about it... We will never shop from home depot. We will get items else where cor my sister's wedding. Never felt so discrimated in our whole entire life
washing machine
To Whom It May Concern:
Order ID: H0732-69850 Amount $666.91
We have had the following issues with our visit Home Depot, [protected]@HomeDepot.com, phone#[protected].
1. We are a military family with one member deployed for the 4th time. We appreciate your support of the military and the discounts you offer. My husband is currently deployed at this time and I am in the process of remodeling an entire home. I came to Home Depot expecting a good product, a timely delivery, and excellent customer service.
2. I placed an order on 5/6 for a washing machine (with haul away) and were told the delivery date would be 10/13.
3. We are remodeling a home and made several expensive purchases in the same day.
4. On the 13th, we called to find out when the washing machine would be delivered and found out the order was never placed. Apparently, the cashier never actually scanned the paper with the washer order.
5. The washer I originally wanted was now on backorder, so the manager of the store took my information and placed a new order with a 5/21 delivery.
6. I had a work conference in Gatlinburg that weekend, but woke up early Sunday morning to make it home before 10am for the delivery.
7. As it got later in the day, I called Home Depot to determine when the washer would be delivered. I was told that there are no Sunday deliveries and that my order was never actually sent to the manufacturer.
8. Another representative offered to take my information and called me on the 22nd to place a new order for delivery on the 27th.
9. I received a call on the 26th that the deliver would be between 5-7pm. At 7:15, I got a call that it was raining too hard and the technician requested a new delivery for Sunday, the 28th at 8am.
10. I agreed to the new date/time and was told I would receive a $50 gift card for my trouble (the gift card has yet to arrive).
11. This time, the washer was actually delivered after waiting almost a month from my original order date.
12. The installation took about 20 minutes and I requested that the haul away fee to be removed because I sold my old washer while waiting for the new one.
13. Happy that I finally got the washer, I started a load of laundry and left to grab breakfast with my family.
14. When I got home an hour later, the new floors in my laundry room and adjoining hallway were flooded.
15. I called the delivery company and explained that the new washer leaked everywhere.
16. Home Depot sent a repairman to the house the next day and told us the valves were defective.
17. We did not believe this, because the old washer worked just fine with the old valves.
18. Tired of being disappointed by Home Depot and skeptical of a valve issue, we hired our own plumber.
19. Our plumber determined that we did not have a valve issue and he setup the washer to work properly.
20. This purchase was an absolute nightmare and just seems to be one failure after another. I’ve wasted so much time on the phone with your customer service team, I’ve waited at home for multiple delivery dates that never arrived. And now, it has cost me money to hire a plumber and clean up the mess from a flooded room.
21. Why did we have to go through such poor customer service from your team? I do not understand why the ball was continuously dropped from the date I placed the order until the washer was installed incorrectly and ended up wasting my time, my money, and my trust in your store. I could not begin to tell you how many phone numbers or employees we were told to contact.
scotts' earthgro mulch
I bought 15 bags of your Scott's Earthgro Brown mulch when it was on sale 5 for $10.00 it is the WORST mulch ever. Color doesn't match, my backyard looks absolutely ridiculous. Now I have to spend more money to fix the problem. I am very disappointed with Home Depot and will probably never shop there again. I used to purchase mulch at the West Mifflin, PA store all the time and never had a problem until now.
window covering dept #1116
I must say this whole experience has been a nightmare at this Home Depot. First I went to custom order some blinds and the guy in blind dept. ordered them online for me. After waiting well over a week I went to pick them up ...not even close to sizes I ordered. So I was given a refund and next day thought I would give them another try. Once again I was "helped" by a complete [censor] who has no business dealing with the public. I wish I got her name but it starts with an E I think. She had no clue and would not even listen to me and when I asked questions that were important to me she was condescending and got downright nasty and almost argumentative with me. Needless to say, I remodel condos and spend a lot of money at home depot-NO MORE I will never buy anything there again! She ended up quoting me a price for Bali blinds on sale for 450+ In frustration I left went to Lowes where the professional handled my entire order and questions in less that than 10 minutes and got the same Bali blind for 255. Goodbye HD You lost my business...I suggest hiring people that know the department. HD gives big box stores a bad name with bad hires like store sore obviously engages in.
customer courteous/lack of
On tues. June 6 2017 iwent to the home depot in new rochelle ny. While driving in the parking lot I was being blocked by a nursery worker (Contracted by home depot) she was taking pictures or a video outside the building where they display plants and vegatables to sell I waited a few seconds, she knew I was there but showed total disregard I was driving and looking to find a parking spot. I tooted the horn, she didnt even look my way. I waited a few seconds more an tooted the horn again. After that she wasnt moving. I waited and drove around her still standing (in the middle of the driving lane) when I pulled up to her she yells im working! I said thats great im driving. When I got out of the car, she starts yelling, "you called me a [censor]" "you said go back to your country" I said I want to see your manager. Ive never said such a thing. The manager on duty took my name and number. I told him this person is a contractor, but, she represents home depot. And I called corporate. They told me that I nothing to worry about, and that I was not on trouble. I couldnt believe it.
the store couldn't find item we bought for pick up later
My name is Colin.
Last week we came to Home Depot store (Capitol expressway, San Jose, California). We ordered and we paid for an item.
Today we came to pick it up and the employee said that the stores accidentally sold it to someone else already.
I wonder how is that even possible. They did tell us that they would bring it to the pick up area and put a sticker on it and waited for us. Now it's gone.
My guess is that the stores didn't do things I mentioned above.
No. I don't want a refund. I want an answer from Home Depot about this issue
return
I bought a paint spray machine from home depot brampton store at 12pm today. And the paint doesn't come out from spray tip. I went back to store. The store manager said i finished my work and trying to return it for free use. It is 2:30pm now. What is the joke i use two and half hour to leave store and do my work and come back to store deal with both return staff and manager. No more homedepot for my shopping.
koehler toilet that was suppose to be in stock
I went to a Home Dpot in West Seneca NY. Viewed on my cell phone that there was to be four units of a product in stock(Kohler toilet). An associate who was very helpful confirmed the product was in stock, but could not find it. The associate and I called another area HD, confirmed that they had the products. The associate in front of me, told the other associate
To deliver the products to the customer service desk and I would pick them up. Went to the other HD, and was told the products were on the delivery truck, but they, too could not find the toilets. The general manager was "sorry" for the inconvenience, but again could not find the product. Very sad that a international chain can't get there computers updated for there employees and the consumer. Well off to Loews, I go, thanks Home Depot.
Dishonnet. I was entering the Home Depot on Elmont Long Island 2 weeks ago to purshase a cedar fence when I met one of the workers changing the price of that fence. He increased the price and did not even put the new price. I explained the situation with the store manager who ignored me. This week Home Depot has the same fence at a special discount which happen to be the price I saw before. I realized the company is not faithful to its consumers. It is a fraud and dishonnet company
lack of customer service
On Sunday May 28th I asked my 24 year daughter to stop at the Home Depot in Dahlonega, GA to pick up 4 bags of play sand. She purchased the sand at the building supply department and asked a associate standing in the area name Zonk to help load the 50lb bags of sand in her trunk. The associate told her that he doesn't do that and she would need to find another associate. My daughter then found another Home Deport employee to assist her in loading these Heavy sand bags and he also told her she will need to find someone else for this request.
My daughter who recently injured her knee proceeded to load these 50 lb sand bags herself.
This is totally a lack of customer service and respect for a young woman needing assistance from 2 of your male No customer associates. Why couldn't these employee's assist your customer and if they were not capable of picking up a sand bag why didn't they get someone who could?
Why do you allow your daughter with injured knee to buy sandbags? You should go with her and do the loading part. Employees at Home Depot have their own responsibilities and are severely underpaid, do you think they are motivated to help? Just use your common sense.
buying a carpet with wrong price advertisements
We purchased a carpet with $1.69 sqf price that was printed in the tag and when we paid they charged the price of $2.14 sqf.
We noticed the price the next day that we look at the reciepe and we look at the price again and it was $2.14. If the price was increase why the tag still say $1.69 when we bought it. If we wouldn't know that we could choice other kind of carpet in our buget. I feel deceive by the price. Not happy.
lack of care of outdoor plants
I am appalled at the lack of care (watering of plants) at the Oneonta ny store. Many many perennials literally dying from lack of water. Expensive rose trees and climbing roses literally wilted and flowers all dead and dropping. It pains me to see how unimportant these once beautiful plants are to these associates who run around totally ignoring these wonderul plants. Please investigate these behaviors . Home Depot, if nothing else, is losing many hundreds of dollars from sheer neglect.
security at home depot lost my property
Our lost Kitten was found by the security Gaurd working at the Home Depot at the Chula Vista .ca. location and then taken to her home where she claims lost it that evening. We were called by home depot informing us to pick up the kitten then When we went for the kitten the kitten we were told that the kitten was lost at the Home of the security Gaurd. They told us that it it was too bad and tough luck. This is a $250.00 purebred Siamese kitten. Once the Home Depot decided to take our cat home and then loses it is thier responsibility to make sure it gets back to us. We feel the security gaurd kept the cat because she told an other employe that she was going to take her to the vet. And when she called us about the cat she wrote "Are you going to pick up the cat or not" she doesn't have the right to keep the cat because we didn't respond right away also why would she say she's going to take our cat to the vet because it looked sick unless she wanted to keep it. Home Depot is responsible for taking our kitten home then losing it. Why would she leave a sick kitten outside in a box anyway?
Anna Securitas didn't hire you to take it apon yourself to take a cat that wasn't even yours. and You tried to use animal cruelty to justify taking my cat. I have vet exam papers and prescriptions made out to my cat. I also have a retired police agent and his wife who sold me the cat whos going to testify in small claims court for me when we serve you. Anna were going to take you to court. So if your reading this be prepared to make your case because we're doing this soon.
The comment made by Paul Jimenez that starts off "well more to the story" it was not made by me. I am the original person who commented.
This is more then likely the work of the security guard who took the kitten.
Look at the content. Would I be stupid enough to say that the Humane society has evidence against me if that was true?
As far as the second comment that "Neetdude" made about me abusing the cat, I made it a point to revile that I paid $250.00 for the cat because my girlfriend can take care of animals especially cats and how important it is to us.
She had the cat with her because she doesn't leave it alone in the house. Her losing it resulted from the cat being scared when they were loading wood on top of her SUV.
I have a important Question for you.. How do you know she lied to us when she told us the kitten was lost?
How do you know her suspicions were correct when she took it to the Vet?
? Do you know this person and are you saying that she kept the cat for herself?
This shows that the cat was stolen and that she kept it for herself.
The kitten was well taken care of by us and taken to the Vet when we first got her and the only thing was that it was prescribed eye drops for a easy to cure eye problem from our vet.
You cant take a persons pet away from them and make a judgment call like that. this woman stole our cat and no matter what her excuse she has for keeping it is outright stealing.
There's no abuse on our part just love and care for our cat.
If anyone from Home Depot is reading this, the above statements speak for themselves and confirm that these are fake comments to discredit us. maybe you should look into this matter and take a second look at who you hired to watch after your merchandise and your customers.
Paul
Where have I claimed animal cruelty to justify taking the cat. You are just making things up. Not once I even suggest that you abused your kitten, nor did I suggest neglect. I don't have the kitten it took off. and I would appreciate it if you did not go online and spread lies about me.
Look I told you before I don't have your kitten, it ran off. The reason that I took it to the vet was because it looked sick and you did not pick it up right away. Right now you are taking this viral and defaming my character, and if you don't stop I will take you to court. We are not responsible for your kitten. Also it took you a while to contact us and you pick up the kitten. The only reason that I took it to the vet was because it appeared sick. Now please stop defaming my character. I have contacted a lawyer for this defamation of character. i am sorry that you lost your kitten, but I no longer have it. I would never steal someone's pet.
Well more to this story, she took the cat to the vet and we are not allowed to get the cat back, because they say we are abusing and abandoning the cat, this does not matter it is just a cat, and well we did pay for it, we baid $250 for it and we should get the money we paid for the cat or she should return the cat. She told me that if I tried to contact her to get the cat back she would contact the humane society because there is evidence of abuse and neglect.
The comment made by Paul Jimenez that starts off "well more to the story" it was not made by me. I am the original person who commented.

Now stop blaming me for posting that comment. I never posted anything in your name and posting my full name on a website without proof can get you sued for libel. I told you that I do not have your kitten. I never stated that you did not take care of your kitten. I just took it to the vet because It appeared sick and you did not come and pick it up right away. Now stop spreading false rumors about me or I will take you to court and sue for libel and defamation of character.
voided transactions not processing timely manner
I rented a tool from Manchester, NH Home Depot Tool Rental area. As soon as I returned home, I quickly realized it would not start. I called the clerk immediately who disparingly informed me that it likely had a "flooded compartment". I informed him that I had limited time to get the job done and would bring it back immediately for a refund of the $50 rental charge and $100 deposit. Upon bringing it back and waiting a long time to be helped, the person called a manager who didn't even look at me, no one greeted me, or even had any kind of conversation - all between the staff like no one existed. "Karen" processed a "void" and handed me a receipt that indicated $150 void. Next business day, no return of the voided funds to my bank. Same thing following day, then the next. I called the store and they laughed and said "this never happens" then another staff member laughed and said "oh, this sometimes happens, we don't know why and it may take awhile". I also called my bank who informed me that nothing had been submitted from HD. Once they did receive it, they could open a complaint and get any overdraft charges returned to me. At this point, I've opened a complaint to the NH Attorney General, as I heard that in this same store, someone was arrested yesterday for making a stink about not getting their money back. This is flat out wrong. If it was a refund, even THAT would already be in the bank. Someone is floating these voids. Bad business practice, bad customer service, and bad on a moral level also. If it's antiquated systems, they need to fix them.
carpet install
Carpet install not finished, no one calls back. 2 weeks they still don't have the stairs done. I called home office in Atlanta...closed on Saturday. When I call flooring I get hung up on, 3rd time. Remnants taken from job site. Trying to sell a spec. house.
I use to work for Home Depot, customers first, not at the lansing store. Heads need to roll.
rebates
I also tried this scam. I went into Home Depot on May 14th the first day of the Menards 11% rebate and asked if they were honoring it. She said yes and gave me a paper with a website to go to redeem my rebate. We purchased a 400.00 mower. I went to the rebate page and there was no current rebate form only old ones. I then called and I was told they were uploading it to wait a few hours. 10 hours later I tried again my date was invalid. I called the rebate center to be told they started their rebate on the 15th even though Mendards started it on the 14th, So sorry was all I got. I called customer care and the store manager and both told me to return the mower and repurchase it. That was the only way. I live 30 minutes from a home depot. I will return it but I will not repurchase it and I have used it. I will also be cutting up my home depot credit card in front of the manager. This company has a lot to learn about how to treat customers. they should just send the rebate without me having to go back into the store.
home depot carpet purchase and installation
I purchased a carpet for a home I purchased back in February, 2017. At the time of the purchase, Home Depot was running a special with free carpet installation. Also, Home Depot told me that the scheduled installation date could take up to 6 weeks after carpet arrives at the store. The installation was scheduled for early April, 2017, but on the installation date, the carpet installer inspected the new carpet and found a dark streak running almost the entire length of the carpet. So, Home Depot had to reorder the carpet. Neither Home Deport nor the carpet installer ever inspected the new carpet when it first arrived! If they had done so, they would have save the customer some time in waiting for the installation. But no, they waited until the very day of the installation, which was about 6 weeks after purchase, to find that the carpet was defective! When the replacement carpet arrived at Home Depot, which was a week later after the defect was detected, neither Home Depot nor the carpet installer would install the carpet right away. I have called Home Depot and the carpet installer and pleaded with them to have the carpet installed as soon as possible, but to no avail. I already paid for my carpet back in February and have been waiting patiently since February to move furnitures into the carpeted area. In the meantime, I really can't move into my home. Again, I had to wait another 6 weeks or more in order to have my new carpet install. Its now May, 2017, and I've just heard from Home Depot carpet installers that I've been scheduled for carpet installation for June 9, 2017. This is unacceptable! I will not let Home Depot get away with this! I will let as many people know about the terrible service that Home Depot gives once they have your money. I have not received any apologies or offers of compensation for this horrendous delay. Home Deport customer service is really, really terrible!
stove
So I ordered a stainless steel stove by GE and when I was able to open it(just moved in to our new home and wanted every thing matching as I pointed out several times to the service rep. Come to find out it is not stain less steal it is gray painted and also it has in the inside of the door rust already I called and tried to get in touch with a store manager yet no where to be found and when I talked with that dept. Kelly she told me to bring it in and so I rented a haul to bring it in as I brought it in as careful as can be so not to damage the stove the rep. Bang it to put it in the cart and told them careful also they told me it was a special delivery which I was never aware all I was told in 2 to 3 weeks it would be delivered I was not able to return it the manager Dorren said he could not help me never to check was this the product in a error just said call the manufacture GE and they would help yet the GE manufacture sent me back with Home Depot so they have had me back and forth in the mean time my stove sits in my new home and has not been placed in cause it does not match the other appliances I purchased from home depot that are stainless steel I am very unhappy because no one gave us the great customer service we deserve as the good customer thru out the years and all the money we have spent and continue to do so, our new home I have spent more 5, 000 we just purchased in 4/2/2017 when we went to buy paint and appliances from home depot. Over the years I have made it a point to use home depot for all my household needs and up grading . You would think I could just get a little bit more help with my issue all I want it for my appliances match not a happy customer
customer service and pro service
I just left the home Depot store 4112, I just experienced the worst and most disrespectful service I've ever had at this store, I went to buy 120 cinder blocks, 10, 4feet rebars, 20 bags of ready mix cement, two shovels and an hand ax, all I wanted was to pay and have it delivered, first I went to the pro shop were I have my account, rep Chris was disrespectful and after cursing at me walked away just cause we wanted to have the items delivered, I the went to Customers sevice desk, were I waited over an hour to then be told no management was available and to go back to pro shop to place my order, the guy then brushed me off and called an other customer and tried to attend them, I ask to speak to a manager and told if I didn't like it to leave but he was not calling anyone, , never once I've I ever had or seen such disrespectful people in my life, I've been shopping at that same store for the past 5 years, and this will be my last time..that is no way to treat a long-term customer. ..
