unethical behavior
I am a personal buyer and opened an account with HSN. they took my money and my orders and then cancelled them all without notifying me and closed my account. When I spoke to their security dept, they stated the could not identify me or my customers. I asked if I provide physical documentation can they reopen They replied no. they have their own internal system and would not discuss it further. They have damaged my business and I would inform everyone not to buy from them.

HSN would not take it back even for store bucks. I will never shop there again. Macey's or Penny's would have happily taken it back/
I ordered this in February. I was in the hospital from an accident and could not return it within their 30 day rule.

I purchased their Bose Soundlink portable Bluetooth speaker. Not being completely satisfied with the quality, I tried to return it via their pre-paid return policy. First off, there was no return label on the packing slip. Then when I tried to print one out on the HSN site. That was not possible because after calling, I was told Bose does not participate in that $6.95 return program. So I have to pay $28.00 via USPS to return a product I am not satisfied with. Next time ( which there will not be a next time) I return something, I will lie and say it's defective so I get the pre-paid return.
Extremely disappointed in the whole process with HSN and will no longer make my purchases with them due to a terrible customer service experience

The worst shopping experience of my life, no exaggeration! The representatives who take your order are polite and professional but if you need to talk to anyone in any other department concerning your order, forget about it. Incompetent, condescending, awful. Talk to 10 different people to fix a problem. It's fixed, it's not fixed, then it's fixed again. A few days later, not fixed, fixed, not fixed, NOT FIXED! How does this company stay in business?! I will never order or buy from them ever again. I strongly advise that people go to ANY of the other online or order companies out there to purchase their products. Word of advice, STAY AWAY!
failure in customer service
I ordered a mother's day gift on 4/29/2017. Called today 5/12/2017 to check the status of my mother's day gift not yet being received and learned that item was never ordered due to what they claim "technical difficulty". They did not inform me of the issue. I only learned of this when following up today. I have received two items from them (not as important as a mother's day gift) and I am sending them both back as a result of my most important order FAILING. Had they informed me, I could have made other arrangements for a mother's day gift for my mom who lives in Calif when I live in Hawaii. I am so livid and disappointed in HSN simply because I am left with no time to make other arrangement for mother's day. I promise to tell as least 30, 000 of this experience.
account assure program
I have an HSN card for which I do not remember ever agreeing to the Account Assure program. However, upon review of my transactions I've realized that they have deducted over several months a total of $225.72. Upon calling Account Assure a representative said they would cancel program immediately and process full refund. Subsequently calling HSN to find they did not cancel the program and no refund relected to date. I am so angry about this. I suppose my fault to a degree for not noticing before this but how can a company get away with this? Each month the charges were made in three very small increments; never in one deduction so as to make detection less visible. I will continue to pursue the refund but feel this will be a challenge and am requesting help.

Problem with both HSN and manufacturer. Was very upset I didn't get order tracking number to plan ahead, later found out it somehow went to an old email address I had. I don't like creating an account and shouldn't feel obligated to. I'm also very upset with manufacturer putting a signature needed on such a cheap item without my input.
Simple resolutions: Next time on guest accounts provide an area where you can put in a email address where this important information can go. If this already exists, someone really messed up and I demand compensation. Also, I understand why a manufacturer wouldn't want to leave items in populated areas or if item is over 800, but I'd let them know there limits made it very inconvenient for me if I didn't know when the package was coming. They need to relax their limits on non-holiday times or if not entering heavily populated areas to make things more expedient for their customers, if that actually is what I am to me.
Final thoughts: I now have to waste gas and wait extra time to get my item. I thought ordering online was supposed to make things more convenient?
shipping/return shipping charges
I ordered Perlier face/neck cream which came with body wash; total charges with shipping approximately $24.00. I couldn't use either product as I immediately broke out in hives on my feet, legs and neck. I returned the product to HSN and was refunded all except shipping charges (per policy). However, it is a shame that all charges were not refunded under the circumstances. Terrible way for HSN to make a few dollars. While I am only one customer among many I will never order again from HSN.

Purchased a nice HP laptop for granddaughter to complete senior year of college. She had problems with computer soon after receiving. It keeps freezing and you need to restart a lot. Called HSN and if it is past 30 days, they do not help you. They only take your money...$650.00. Called HP and since granddaughter is in college in another city and I will be paying, if need be for repair, they want me to PAY UP FRONT. THIS is unacceptable to me to give my credit card number to someone BEFORE they even know what the problem is. Who makes a product to sell that freezes and has to be turned on continuously...And it is less than FIVE MONTHS OLD. PROBLEMS FROM BEGINNING BUT GRANDDAUGHTER DID NOT WANT TO OFFEND ME SINCE IT WAS A BIRTHDAY PRESENT. Have we reached a point that products are so poorly made, we can't trust anymore. And, I am shocked HSN blew me off so easily. HP has on their return site...If you do not directly buy from them, you cannot return for repair or replace. What do you do?
my bad experience
I bought a tablet from HSN store and they charged me twice. I contacted HSN customer service as soon as I found out what happened and they said that was a terrible accident and promised to fix it in no time. Weeks passed and I received my tablet (can't say anything bad about it) but there was no money. HSN customer service rep said that they need more time to fix everything. They replied very slowly and did not provide much information about how things were going on.
I'm still waiting for my money and every time I contact customer service I hear only empty promises. I would not recommend this company, in my opinion they are highly unprofessional.
keith urban guitar set
I ordered a Keith Urban Guitar Set that was suppose to include 30 cds by Keith to teach you how to play. I ordered this set in January of 2015. It arrived on February 9, 2015, Order number [protected], Item number: 381348, Price: $299.95 plus $20 shipping. I became ill in March and had several surgeries. I was not able to look at the guitar until late summer 2016. It was missing the 30 cds. I called HSN and was told that the guitar had a one year guarantee and I was past the 1 year mark so they could do nothing. I explained my situation and she was anything but empathetic! She said "those are the rules" no guarantees after one year". I read the One Year Limited Warranty" very carefully and it was all about damage, replacement and a defective product. Nowhere did it say we will not provide missing product after 1 year. So I called Ingenious Designs, and was told by Jason that "yes, if you are missing the cds we will send them to you right away. It should take about 7 to 21 days." I waited. Nothing came. After my conversation with Jared, I received a letter from HSN saying they were sorry, but these things happen. Call Ingenious Designs and see if they have the missing pieces. By the end of November I called HSN Customer Service again. I asked to speak to the Supervisor's Supervisor. When she finally came on the line she was very rude. She said she doubted if they even had any more of the cds left, but she would check and get back to me. I told her that somewhere out there was a set of cds that belonged to my guitar. Surely she should be able to find them. She said she would call me back within a week. I never heard from her again. I was too stressed out to call again and argue with her. So I gave up. Looking at the correspondence again and especially looking at my guitar I am really mad! How do these companies get away with this kind of nonsense? I was obviously cheated out of part of the product (the most important part) and now I sit here with a guitar I've paid for that I cannot play. I have correspondence, but don't know how to scan it.

I ordered this item on Dec. 1 it was supposed to be delivered by the 7th nothing no call no email nothing I called they said hive it until the 14th comming from California waited waited call back 13th they tell me it was stuck and said he would send another only had purple then oh no they have none left i will never order from you people again. You people are so unprofessional a rip off and right before Christmas. I am so angry

I placed an order with HSN on 11/25 and paid $32 for expedited shipping which guaranteed that I receive it by 11/29. I've called the HSN customer service department since 11/29 and keep getting excuse after excuse. No one can tell when my order will be shipped or arrive since there is no tracking information. I placed orders after 11/25 and have gotten the but the order for the camera placed on 11/25 is still in limbo. I've waited on hold for 30 to 45 minutes just to be told we don't know when you will get your order. They have authorized the charge against my credit card but can't tell me when I should receive my order. This is ABSURD to say the least! I was told that the order is coming from a third party vendor but no one can contact the vendor. How is that possible? A company the size of HSN will allow vendors to ship on their behalf but cannot contact them. All I want is my camera!

I made a purchase on Home Shopping Network and selected flex pay as the option for payment. Shortly after I received an email with payment confirmation, and the money was taken from my account. An hour afterward, I received another email that my order has been cancelled. When I spoke to a customer service rep, he stated that the flex pay department is responsible for cancellations. He also stated that he had no information to provide, and that I would receive a letter in the mail. The cancellation is fine. I made another purchase at QVC for the exact same items. The issue and concern I have is that my account was debited, and an hour later my order was cancelled. I do not understand why HSN is OK with taking the money from someone's account prior to evaluating for flex pay eligibility. Nor do I understand why they do not specify that the flex pay is subject to approval before they allow the purchase to be approved. The money was removed from my account, and now I have to wait 72 hours for the funds to be released. This is ridiculous. Most reputable companies check for eligibility of credit before they debit an account. I am furious, and now I have to wait for my money. I will never purchase from HSN again. I am reporting to the BBB, and I will spread the word to friends and family.

I have been a customer of HSN for nearly 10 years and have bought several fairly high priced items including a Dyson and a $700 laptop, all on flexpay. They have always been paid on time and the products have always been good. Never had a problem. I went to order an Xbox One for my son on Black Friday this year, and after placing the order and having the $120 authorization amount taken out of my account, they cancelled my order saying they couldn't approve flexpay for this order. No explanation. It makes no sense since my other orders have been more expensive. So now I have to wait 3 days for the charge to drop off. I loved this company before this. I had also planned to buy two more computers this holiday season. Oh well, they lost a good 2 grand worth of business from me the Christmas, and I will never order from them again.

I had purchased this Item through your mobile App using flex pay. After the first payment as well as the shipping and tax had been deducted from my account. Your flex pay department decided that I wasn't eligible for flex pay and cancelled my order. So now I no longer have an order placed and am out the money until it gets credited back to my account which the operator I spoke to said 72 business hours which since this is friday evening means I may get my money back by next Wednesday. I have been in retail for over 30 years and have never done this to one of my customers or had it done to me. If my flex pay worthiness was in question it should have been reviewed before any money was deducted.

HSN charged my debit card and did not apply it to my HSN account. They said they didn't get the payment. Even after my financial institution contacted them and faxed proof of payment, they still refused to do anything. The next day they acted dumb founded as if they'd never spoken to anyone or received a fax. Date of drafted payment 8/31/16. It's strange how all the payments I made on my own went through but the payment they sent through didn't. All I simply wanted was for the money taken from my card to be applied towards my HSN account. Now the card is canceled and no payment will be made until it's resolved.
7/16...I placed an order at HSN. When I got to the checkout bag it stated the amount due. After I checked out the price changed drastically. When I called they refused to help so I cancelled the entire order and they had to refund the money back. I was overcharged! They sent alerts stating that the items were on sale but said it was a mistake. Really!
joy super chic vacuum
I recently purchased the joy super chic vacuum. I have had nothing but trouble with this vacuum. I can only use it for a few minutes before it becomes so hot I am unable to hold it. It will then shut off which renders it unusable. I called hsn to return this item because I can not use it and I was advised to call ingenious designs ref the vacuum because it is under warranty. All attempts to reach ingenious designs have gone unanswered. They do not respond to email, answer their phone or return messages, as the recording instructs you to leave a message and you will receive a call back. I am so frustrated. I want to return this item, it is unusable and in my opinion, dangerous to operate. Please contact me with instruction on how to return it for a refund. I am waiting to hear if the unit I gave as a gift is also having this problem. I also reviewed the comments ref this item and was shocked based on all the claims that it overheats and shuts off that hsn or ingenious designs was not issuing a mandatory safety recall.
Private security at hsn is practicing discrimination at their own will
I have a restaurant in St. Pete, and I am regularly doing business with HSN employees by delivering their food they order. To get into the HSN facility in St. Petersburg, Florida you have to get thru security checkpoint. I have delivered the catering orders to HSN many times and I noticed particulary rudeness and unprofessional behaviour of the security...

They said they would send me information regarding these charges that go back to 2012. It has been two weeks and no word from them.
