faulty nappies
I used Huggies gold with my firstborn and were ver happy. My second child is now 2months old and since he was born I had troubles with Huggies Gold. The nr3 is smaller than the nr2. Some of the nappies in a pack doesn't even have a thing to close the nappy with. Some does not even have a lining inside. I'm very dissapointed in Huggies. I've kept all the proof so if someone wants to have a look I will show them. My email: [protected]@mtn.blackberry.com

urine odor
I bought a box of huggies little snugglers size one diapers on the 12th of March, and every single diapers, after one peepee in the diaper you can smell the odor tremendously, ive never had this problem so there has to be something wrong with this box, or maybe the whole batch that was made that day and time, i dont know but would strongly appreciate some...
Read full review of Huggiesgel bursting/yeast rash
I have always used either pampers snugglers, walmarts brand (parents choice), or targets brand (up & up) for my son (8 months ols). recently i was given a box of huggies lil snugglers, so i decided to try them. i noticed they were not very absorbent, the lining always busted and my son frequently had gel on his diaper area. one morning i had enough when i changed his diaper first thing from waking, and noticed his clothes were wet. when i took them off, he was covered from his bottom to his shoulders, front to back, in the gel. i was disgusted and immediately bathed my child.
the biggest issue, though, is that around the same time i started using the huggies and having this issue, my son started to get a diaper rash. i treated it with different ointments as instructed by his pediatrician, but nothing worked. we eventually came to the conlusion that it was a yeast rash, and by this time it was so bad that it hurt for him to potty. he would only go a little bit and cry to have his diaper changed, and after i changed his diaper, would immediately go a little more, and repeat the process till he was done. i eventually got the rash to clear up, but now his father and i are battling it out for custody now claiming i am neglectful. it infuriates me that these diapers have not only caused my son to suffer with this ongoing rash, but also for the legal battle he is now being drug through.
i made a report with kimberly clark, and they offered me a voucher for more diapers! i refused, and accepted some vouchers for whipes instead, but the damage is irreparable and detrimental.
i want to know, has anyone had a problem with the gel bursting out and/or a yeast rash?

packaging tape
Recently I decided to try Huggies nappies for my 3 month old, firstly I found that these nappy leaked despite how well they were put on, one side was always cut different from the other. To my great surprised I opened one nappy and found what appeared to be packaging tape embedded in the nappy. Sadly I have 92 more nappies to go before I can switch back to pampers which I must admit is the best choice for babies and does not leak or tear like Huggies.

defective nappies
I bought a pack of Huggies Dry Comfort for my daughter to use during the day, the first few nappies I used were ok, then I found a nappie with no strip on one side so I checked the pack, I then found quite a few defective nappies in the pack. I usually use Huggies Gold so I went and bought a pack of it, to my surprise I found a few defective nappies in there as well, which has never happened before, so now I'm sitting with two packs of damaged nappies and I have to travel up and down to buy new nappies. What can I do, please help?
Thanks

found a needle in my wipe
ive recently bought a pack of huggies wipes from home bargains Pwllheli Gwynedd. As i took some wipes out from the packaging to wipe my friends son i felt a sharp object scraping my skin. As me and my friend investigated what could it be we discoverd it was a needle that was pierced through all the wipes inside the packaging. There are no holes in the packaging so it must of came from when the wipes were being made. I want to no how did it get there and are there any more packets containing needles? its a disgrace. it could have caused serious injuries to my friends child or any one else really. as the needle has scraped my skin, am i at risk of catching a disesase? im now taking further action as theyre suppose to be looking after skin not piercing or scratching someone's skin. i wont be buying huggies and i wont be recommending them again.
I am disappointed in huggies wipes my son likes to eat them well chew them because he is teething I have never had a problem with Johnsons wipes when I gave my son a wipe huggies I looked round at him and it had fell apart I now loads of babys that like to chew on wipes my son could of choked because of this I trust Johnsons baby wipes 100% I will never be buying them again and will I ever rrecommend them to any 1 either ist a discuss especially when there for babys shame on huggies.
blue dye
I noticed a couple of months ago that Huggies Snug n' Dry Diapers (various sizes & lot numbers) were leaving blue stains on my kids and their clothing. It seems to have started when they changed to the pattern with bubble/circles. Which is, also, when they seem to have added blue bye to let you know when you're baby is wet. I had to soak the clothing and scrub at it to get it off, some items never came free of the blue color. Thankfully, 2 of my kids never developed any rashes from them, my oldest though did seems to have a little rash on her bum & leg area, nothing to severe and it has gone away now that we have switched to Pampers. I contacted Huggies to let them know and their response was -
"Because the safety of our products is our number one priority, you can be confident that all components in our products have been thoroughly tested and are safe. We apologize for any inconvenience or distress that you experienced. Please be assured that we will share your comments with our Quality team." They sent some coupons, but we switched to Pampers anyways.

nappies
I recently brought a batch of huggies nappies, from Chelmsley Wood Asda size 6, on opening the pack I have found that some of the nappies are missing the velcro strip. I have always used huggies for both of my kids as I have found them better then pampers or other own brands. I'm sure you can appreciate how up set I am as I work part time and spend my wages on nappies to find this problem. please would you tell me what you are going to do to prevent this problem from occurring again .

quality
I have bought packs of Huggies Gold 4 on 2 occations where I discovered that the elastic does not strech as it should or the nappies where smaller than they should be. My daugher ended up with marks on her waist as the nappies where not confortable. This is very dissapointing as I have always used and relied on huggies gold.

the tabs tear off and the tops are busted open
I just went and bought a box of size 5. Snug&dry huggies diapers about a week ago. I have always loved huggies and used them on both my daughter and son. But lately it seems like almost everyother diaper i put on him the tabs will come off and i have to throw it away, or the tops of the diapers are ripped open. I didn't notice what is was at first but i noticed a white stuffing stuff in his shirt exc. than i realized what it was. Than for some reason i can change him and within a half hr he pees everywhere. Usually on me. But it's a wast of my money to buy these diaper than turn around 1wk and half later and have to buy more diapers. Huggies are not a cheap brand. I have realized that only the snug&dry i have problems with. The supr. Or overnights. Work great. But i get less in those kind.
Thanks Amanda

very hard pieces inside of diapers
I have 4 kids, my oldest is now 18 yrs old (Today!!) I have "always" used huggies since she was born, well I now have a 2 yr old and a new 5 month old. Going with tradition and my favorite brand of diapers I "still" use huggies... Well the last 2 boxes I have bought have had very hard pieces of something rolled up inside the diapers... My 2 yr old ha...

I hate to complain, but I have always purchased Huggies Little Swimmers, and never had a problem with them, until today. My toddoler had one own, and went to the bathroom in it, and it came out in the pool. It had just happened too. Not pleased at all. In my opinion, they should work like a diaper for ones not potty trained. For the price you pay for them, they should fully function as a regular diaper. Thank you for listening to my complaint about Huggies Little Swimmers.
poor quality
I have always bought my baby baby girl month old huggies diapers as I found it to one of the superior brands, however to my recent dismay I have had the most unfortunate experiences:
1st the huggies dry comfort:
While putting the diapper on for my baby the velcro strap cut off.
Then when I tried from a differenct pack of huggies dry comfort the absorbtion section separated into broken pieces making my baby very uncomfortable. Thereafter I purchased Huggies Gold.
Yesterday the 8thJuly 2011 to my utter disbelief this diapper had the gel leaking out of it after baby weed once. I am extreming unhappy with the fact that huggies have dropped the ball with product quality. Bareing in mind that Huggies Gold can range anything from £170.00 per pack upwards, I am disappointed in the poor quality.
I feel my baby deserves the best possible quality products and therefore I pay my price when purchasing her essentials. I feel most let down in this instance.
Most displeased,
Sindy Pillay.
commercial
There is a Huggies diaper commercial, where a man takes his baby boy into a bedroom apparently in someone else's house to change his diaper. The baby ends up peeing all over the room, like there's a garden hose shooting out of him. It shows detail of the "pee" hitting the bed, the walls, the ceiling, the nightstand, the person's pictures and items on the...

blue dye on inner thighs
I have been having the same issue with blue dye on my daughter's thighs that others have mentioned on this site (and other sites/bulletins boards I have found just by googling "huggies blue dye"). I have found complaints about this problem dated from mid-2009, and I am surprised and disappointed that Huggies has not fixed the problem to date. I'll be changing brands today and will get rid of the Huggies I have at home.

We have been using huggies for our son since he was born, never had a problem. When the time has come, he now proudly wears his "Cars" pull-ups and he has not been without blue stains on both his inner thighs.
As if he has been coloring with a green sharpie on both his legs.
It is very hard to remove... If anyone has a magic eraser trick to get it off easily, please post a comment?
Just wondering what health hazard it would be for a toddler to get his hands on one of these pull ups and put it in his mouth?
dye on inner thighs
We have always used huggies brand diapers because they seemed to work the best. The past few boxes of diapers have been leaving a blue dye on my almost 2 year old son's inner thighs. At first I thought it was a bad box of #4's. Then we moved up to #5 and it was happening again. The pull-ups my mother bought did the same thing along with the overnight diapers. I no longer buy huggies. I was especially disappointed because we LOVED the overnights... I did contact Kimberly Clark and they were very nice, but they did tell me they had not had that complaint before, I was surprised. Then I looked it up on the internet and saw that I wasn't the only one.
I drove a hour to the nearest store and a hour back to put money on a VIB gift card to get 10% of the amount I put on card to get diapers but the cashier at store #6469 on 08/25/2017 at approx. 1:26pm gave me a regular gift card and I did not get my 10% but when I asked her why my gift card looked different she said it didn't matter what it looked like. Then I went to put my 2 boxes of Value size huggies diapers in my cart there was a BIG SIGN taped to the shelf that read: buy 1 get $10 off or buy 2 boxes get $25 off. When I got to the register the same cashier said it did not ring up as that so her and I went back to the shelf the sign was gone and the cashier said "oh well they are changing signs" and they did not honor what the sign said or try to find out which worker removed the sign. I did NO OTHER SHOPPING and it only took me a matter of minutes to read the sign grab the diapers and go to the check out. I waited in the long only 1 lane open line yet again for another 7 minutes. I checked out many stores deals and promotions for a month before finding that Babiesrus was the best deal and planned on ONLY MAKING MY PURCHASES FOR BABY AT BABIESRUS but now I'm not sure I ever want to go to this store and be cheated as a customer.
I have had the same problem except the dye is rubbing off on both of my boy's clothing I have about 8 articles of clothing with blue dye on the are that wraps around the diaper. Huggies needs to do something about this
We are having the same issue. At first I thought it was bruising but now I know differently.
dye rubbing off on my babies legs
I've been using Huggies Snug and Fit since the birth of my daughter. She is now 20 months old. Since the last big box of Huggies I bought from Costco, my daughter has had a dye on her inner thighs. It comes off, but not easily. At first I thought it was the new pants I bought her, but it continued to happen and has persisted regardless of the type of clothing. The only consistent factor is the Huggies. There is a blue liner with elastic and also a blue design on the outside of the diaper toward where her inner thighs would rub. I switched to cloth diapers and the dye went away. Huggies is distributing an inferior product and has lost me as a customer.

My daughter is 8 months and she got her first rash ever there was blue dye on her that looked liked bruises and heck a red rash like blisters it must be the sweat and something mixed
The same thing happened to my 16 month old. I've used huggies her whole life and I didn't think it would show up out of the blue but it did. I called 2 hospitals for advice but neither could help me over the phone. I called her doctor and I also got questioned about abuse. I gave her a bath but it didn't come off easily. I had to scrub with a wipe and it showed up on the wipe. I noticed it one day on one side and about 5 hours later on the other side. I started googleing the symptoms and I found many moms have went through the same exact thing. Huggies may be the strongest brand but this is unacceptable
Oh my heavens! I'm so glad to know this is happening to other people! Last week stange giant bruises appeared on my 6 month old's inner thighs. I was devastated! I though he had bruised himself in his bouncer ( I knew no one could have hurt him) At first I thought, well maybe its dye of some kind. So I gave him a bath with soap and water, and it din't come off, so my worst fears seems confirmed, that my sweet little baby was all bruised up from his bouncer. I put the bouncer away, and was going to make an appointment with my Ped., when I decided to try one more time to clean them off. I scrubbed with a wet wipe, and sure enough dark dye came off! I am appalled! Huggies need to recall all these diapers and refund their customers! OOOOH Just wait till they hear from this LIVID mother!
The director of my son's daycare called me into her office today and asked me about the "bruises" on his inner thighs. She even had another employee undress him and show them to me, since I could not figure out how he could be bruised down there! To make a long story short, I took him home and gave him a bath...sure enough the "bruises" disappeared. I called the daycare and let them know that the marks were gone, but who knows what they think of me now. I'm so HUMILIATED. After looking it up, I've found stories of the same thing happening for the past 3 years! I'm done with Huggies. I can't manage cloth diapers, but there are plenty of other brands out there that won't lead to accusations of abuse!
I have been using the Snug n Dry diapers for several months, but now that the weather is heating up, the dye in the diapers interacted with my daughter's sweat and leached into her skin, causing bruise-like stains. So bruise-like, in fact, that 2 doctors were convinced that they were actual bruises. One "bruise" was racket ball sized on her right leg along the diaper line, and the other was golf ball sized on the left leg in the same spot. The on-call pediatrician we took her to on Saturday ran blood tests to rule out leukemia and other major blood disorders. The tests were negative (THANK GOD). I asked if it could be the diapers. He said no because it didn't wash off. It was a bruise. He said he didn't know the cause and my daughter needed to undergo more testing with her regular pediatrician on Monday. I took her in, and of course the doctor was out sick, so we had to see her back-up doctor. By the time we got to the office, the smaller "bruise" had grown and was almost tennis ball size. This doctor was convinced it was child abuse. She asked me the same questions over and over - would anyone hurt my daughter? Has she been acting strange? How does she act when she goes to the babysitter? Do you suspect the babysitter would hurt her? No, no, no... Then she looked at all of the bruises on my daughter's legs with a suspicious eye - when did this happen? How did this happen? I don't know... she falls down a lot... she's a toddler. Great, now I sound like an abuse victim covering up for the abuser. She kept leaving the room and coming back in. We were in there for what felt like an eternity. She said she would run more medical tests but would have to do a full body skeletal scan to check for healing fractures if the tests all came back normal. She was absolutely convinced that someone was hurting my baby. I was devastated. Finally she went next door and grabbed another pediatrician to come look at her. He put some medical soap on a paper towel and scrubbed the "bruises". They began to fade. The doctor that had just accused me (or someone) of abusing my baby started laughing. It was a stain, not a bruise. The soap irritated the hell of my daughter's skin and red patches began to appear. Her skin is very sensitive, so we never use strong soaps and only use mild soap once or twice a week. I guess I wasn't scrubbing hard enough. This has been one of the most traumatic experiences of my life. I will never buy Huggies again.
maybe it was just that package your gonna stop using them after 20 months? weirdo and cloth diapers seriously the poor thing will have a yeast infection in no time diaper rash who knows
faulty product
I am very disappointed with huggies gold, I have supported them since my son was born, and their quality has turned bad! I use the huggies gold at night as it does not leak and tear apart, but the last pack that I bought didn't help at all! Every morning the gel is all over the place as the nappies tears apart during the night, they are supposed to be good nappies as you pay a lot for them, and I've never had this problem before with them, but this last pack was just awful! I like the nappies and would like to continue buying them, so I hope this problem will be solved! I feel that I have spent money on something I trusted and I just wasted a lot of money because it does not work like it always did!
Hi there,
I have also always believed in huggies gold brand, but I will never buy them again! Supported them for 2yrs and they are such rubbish! In fact at my son's 2nd bday, we took him to Spur and I could nt believe it but his nappie burst and there was gel all over the place! I was quite embarrassed. And of late, he wakes up crying because he is soaking wet and cold as the stupid thing has leaked! My son was born with a heart condition and has had open heart surgery so I really don't need him to get sick all because the stupid huggies nappie is inadequate! P.S it is 4 am now and we r all awake as his nappie leaked again! I am so frustrated!
Hi Cami,
I am an independent distributor for a company called Winalite. We have Baby Diapers that are the first of its kind. The diapers absorb three times the normal amount of fluid. The diapers are air permeable and have tea seed extract which helps kill bacteria and prevents nappy rashes and odour.
Please call me on [protected] I would love to give you a free sample to try.
My name is Sally.

bad box of diapers
I have been buying Huggies diapers for almost Two years now and I would never buy any other kind because my daughters’ bottom is very sensitive to cheap brands. Oaky so I bought my last super box of diapers size # in January and I don’t know if I just bought an old box or what. But what I do know is they ripped all apart they didn’t absorb not a single drop...
