pull ups falling apart
I spend the extra money to buy Huggies pull ups because they are better then the no name but the last time I bought them they came apart in the middle of the night and I had a mushy gel mess of stinky pee to clean up in the morning and had to wash all the bedding. I buy pull ups so I don't have a mess to clean, I am questioning weather I should continue buying them or not.
bad nappies
I would just like to inform ”Huggies”, that their new unique fit nappies are not so great. In fact I would go so far as to say that the quality has deteriorated. Firstly, the nappies now feel like they are made from paper and the ink from the Winnie-the-pooh character graphic now rubs off and makes my baby’s clothes green around the nappy area. Secondly, the stretchy waistband doesn’t seem to be as stretchy as the old nappies and the fasteners are not stretchy at all.
I fully agree with the comment stated above. i also end up using more nappies and my baby's pee leaks right thru, especially at night. so yes the new and improved huggies gold is not so new and improved it's actually crap.
stitching and soreness
firstly i would like to say i love using huggies, i have used huggies nappies and wipes for the past 4 years. i bought a box of huggies economic nappies from asda when they were on special offer in the baby event. i thought these are ok for the price i will try these. the first pack i used out the box were fine, but about 4-5 nappies into the second box i realised the nappies were comin away around the side due to the stitching coming apart, it wasnt only a little bit too, i could pull the absorbancy part of the nappy out so i couldnt put these nappies on my child. i also noticed there were giving my child sore rashes around his leg. having sorted through the rest of the nappies i have left. which is 22 nappies i am able to use only 12 as the rest are no good to put on my child, i have uploaded sum photos of 1 of the worst nappies i have had in the box.
huggies gold strips issues and leaks
At the beginning of this month i purchases 2 packs of Huggies Gold. Thinking that this must be a better product than the normal pampers. There are now 6 nappies whos strips do not stick and after one pee they leak I mean one small pee then my son is wet and his clothes soaked in pee. The size is correct with his weight. Compared to the other nappies out there you huggies gold cost quite a bit more and you would expect the quality to be much beter.
I did contact them and when i informed the consultant of the strips she advised me that i need to call back with some serial number thats located on each nappy. i asked if she would call me back and she said just ignored me.
Im changing back to a trusted brand Huggies is just a waste of my hard earned money!

I am just making a complaint about huggies nappies! The last two pack of nappies I got, half of them were missing the sticky part to tie the nappies!
I always buy these brand nappies and I found them good. Its only been the last two times now that this had happened and the nappies aren’t cheap by any means there nearly 12euro a pack!
I be very grateful if you could get back to me when you get this.
we always buy hugies but some of them you must tear it of to open them and some of them dont have straps on them why is that so and i have the prove of it . please mail me on gideon.bodenstein@yahoo.com thanks.
pay a lot to get damaged nappies
Hi went and bought two packets of Huggies Dry and the first couple of nappies where fine, then when i get to about number 15 have the nappy is damaged, stips are missing on one side, wings aren't there, they place the strips stick there isn't any where to stick it...
nappies cost people a lot of money and not everyone can afford to just go out and buy new ones because they one's you bought are damage!
new unique fit
I would just like to inform ''Huggies", that their new unique fit nappies are not so great. In fact I would go so far as to say that the quality has deteriorated. Firstly, the nappies now feel like they are made from paper and the ink from the Winnie-the-pooh character graphic now rubs off and makes my baby's clothes green around the nappy area. Secondly, the stretchy waistband doesn't seem to be as stretchy as the old nappies and the fasteners are not stretchy at all. Lastly, but of greatest importance, the new unique fit just does not work... they leak all the time, especially at night. What happened to the double leakage guards? I cannot understand why Huggies changed a wonderful product into a product that is just not as superior. I'm very disappointed, especially because I pay for the best nappies but don't get them anymore, so are a lot of other moms that I have spoken to. If the Huggies doesn't make a plan about these less than sufficient ''new'' unique fit nappies, I'm afraid that you are going to loose a lot of valued customers, I've already thought about switching over to Pampers.
i completely agree with these complaints
I fully agree with the writer of the original complaint. I am about to lodge my own complaint. I have been using Huggies for 4yrs now (my son is non-verbal and therefore still on nappies) and I am experiencing one leaky nappy after the next (also agree night time is worse as I have always left the night nappy on the whole night). Now I'm sitting with a wet and awake child and a wet bed at 3h00 or 4h00 in the morning. It appears to be worse when he's laying down as he sometimes wakes up wet after his afternoon nap as well
I have complained a second time to Huggies directly & I have to say, that change it seems, it not always good! This new unique nappy was a problem as the size had changed - I was told, by Anne, when i phoned to complain, about something being wrong - that I need to go down a size! Imagine that - no notification to all the moms - instead we have to phone in to complain to get this useless info.
The last time when I purchased a pack the nappy felt alot smaller so I went up a size again - nappy seemed way smaller but fit was better & more stretchy as well as more secure, it seemed!
This weekend, i purchased another pack, only to realise somethings wrong again - apparently there are 2 different "new" huggies gold! One says "Super Stretchy" & the other " Unique Shape" - how are we supposed to know there are different types on the shelves - packaging changes all the time - so my husband just looked for Huggies Gold & bought the pack - which was the 'older' Unique shape apparently. The lady at the call centre - Kathlego - said that the one I had purchased was being made in Cape Town! What does that mean to us as consumers? I just said that I really loved these apparent Cape Town ones better and was told that this is now replacing the Unique Shape! Surely, us moms should be notified in some way - even if it is in-store!
Sometimes, mums don't complain - they just move away from a brand to one that delivers what it promises - and you have then lost a customer! Flabbergasted! I can't wait for my baby to be off nappies as I have had to contend with these problems since he was born! I have used Huggies Gold on him from birth as it came highly recommended at the time, & everywhere one looked - it seemed Huggies Gold was the top selling brand - my boy has just turned 2 -and soon I won't have to use napppies anymore - I guess Huggies really don't care - as they have made money & lots of it - from us in 2 years - & how many of others too? So they have nothing to lose, it seems!
Hi There,
I came across this cpmplaint and would like to tell you about our unique Baby Diapers.
I am an independent distributor for a company called Winalite.
Our Baby Diapers absorb three times the normal amount of fluid.
They have tea seed extract which helps preveny nappy rash, kills bacteria and prevents odour.
Call me on [protected] I would love to give you a free sample to try.
My name is Sally.
Ongelukkige klient.
sticky tabs
I always buy nothing but huggies they seem to be the only ones that do not give my daughter a rash. Well this last time that i have purchased them the stick tabs ribbed off quite a few of them.. I have never had this problem before but when i took back to the store they told me i had to contact you...It would be greatly appreciated if there was a way you...
Read full review of Huggiessides ripping
I recently bought a box of 200 size 4 diapers. So far, EVERY diaper has ripped down the side. My daughter wears them for less than 20 minutes and they fall off. This is NOT what I expected from huggies. I normally buy a cheaper brand of diapers and only bought the huggies because they were on sale, and I will go back to buying my normal brand after I throw these in the garbage. These are horrible quality and I'm very disappointed in the product.

the same thing happend with my son i get him loves now
bought a faulty pack
I firstly want to say that i love huggies, it absorb excellently and is cost effective. This month as i normally do bought 2 jumbo pack (the red ones) which last me the whole month with a week to spare. Only to find while changing my active 9month (which means you have to work fast) old's nappy i found the nappy's sticky tape either one side broken off or as i stick it to close it, it just breaks off without me havign to pull, i have so far pulled out 5 with broken sticky tape and one that just wouldnt stick. If it was one or maybe even two i would've been o.*** but 6 nappies that i can not use is a bit frustrating. I know for a fact that this is not a regular occurence because i have always been satisfied with huggies i used it with my 1st child aswell but you do get angry when you're the one sitting with the faulty pack.
nappies leaked
I bought a bulk pack of nappies for my daughter who is 2 and they were the jeans for jeans day nappies. They just leaked she woke up and was soked every nught. I only use huggies nappies because i personally think they are the best. I am not happy with these nappies at all the barcode is9310088023169 laurie.[protected]@live.com

I'm disappointed at the quality of both the gold and dry comfort
With nappies getting so very expensive my husband and i decided to use huggies dry comfort during the day and huggies gold at night.
the tags of the dry comfort just comes off so you cant use the nappy and then believe it or not, i've even had a nappy there the 'filling' was empty, imean how is that supposed to absorb my childs wee wee.
then the huggies gold, the elastics that are around the legs 'snap' or are loose which causes the nappies to leak.
I'm disappointed at the quality of both the gold and dry comfort.
With things getting more and more expensive and with a one income household due to the recession I can't afford not to be able to use all the nappies i have purchased.
embarrassment, insult and humiliation
My son is now 2 and a half years old I have no idea why I have changed him over to the huggies gold range. When leaving the house to just go on an outing both my husband and I have to make sure that we have an extra supply (full pack ) of nappies in the boot of the car and not to mention that 2 to 3 full sets of outfits for my son has to accompany this as well. Going anywhere or even at home has become painfull for my son because of the consistant discomfort he has to go through.. What makes this even more painful for my family is that he is autistic and this has assisted in setting him back. The previous upset lady is right all the response that you get is ' use tape and that should hold it in place for a while' WHAT TYPE OF COMPANY ARE YOU RUNNING. You should be on the side of the mother and the child not setting standards of upset and hurting families. The tabs are consistantly comming off or not there at all. The legs are leaking and that all the time..
Duct tape
defective diapers
I bought a bag of 40 huggies size 5 diapers in WinCo on clovis and ashland and I have found so far 5 defective diapers halfway in. Which I always have bought huggies since I had my daughter in 2002. I trust no other company but I do have to say that they have to be more careful when packing cause that is 5 less diapers that I can use and we are in tough times. I still have to look thru the rest to see if they are any more.
leaking, overbearing smell
I am on a low income, but will never scrimp and scrape on nappies for my baby. I used Huggies for my first born as they were so reliable and a well known and trusted brand. I picked up a box of Huggies Superdry for my baby last week and am highly discgusted with them. Everytime he does a poo the nappies leak, when he has done the smallest wee, the smell of urine is unbearable to the point where i have to put them in a bag outside my flat. I'm finding i have to change my baby more often because of the smell (every hour). I am very disappointed and have moved over to Pampers which i find a perfect.

baby pee through nappy
I've been using huggies nappies since my baby is born ( 14.02.2009) & since last week i've noticed that i got a problem with the Huggies Dry Comfort size 5 Junior Pack. After he had one milk bottle (250ml) he pee right through the nappy even his clothes are wet. and that is within a hour.(The back of the nappy is still dry) I just want to know is that the proper quality Huggies Nappy or is it just a cheap nappy but under the Huggies name. I never had this problem before and i loved the Huggies Nappies but now i'm thinking twice to keep using this product. I would like a reply ASAP regarding this matter.

diapers
After weeks of trying to narrow down what could be causing my2yr old sons sudden severe allergy outbreaks my daycare provider shared that she too used Huggies and started having problems with a lot of rashes with her son since the middle of February. Looking into some mom groups online she discovered that there were more complaints from other moms of Huggies diapers causing allergy outbreaks. One mom says she discovered that Huggies made a formula change in their diapers in January of 2010, just around a month before each of us started having issues with these sudden rashes. For some they are medium-regular looking diaper rashes but for my son it's severe. He scratches around his waist and then anyplace his fingers touch cause further blister looking outbreak. It's been a nightmare for us trying to pin down what's caused this for him. I'm very angry with Huggies for not testing this new formula better before stocking store shelves with it. Probably not all kids will be affected but my son who's been extremely healthy--NEVER had allergies before; is reacting in a severe all body blistering effect. Huggies should have put something on their box...some kind of warning to parents that they changed this chemical makeup of the diapers and allergic rashes are possible. Luckily my son is old enough we're going radical potty training, but what about those people out there with younger kids? Please pass it on if your friend, or relatives kids are having sudden allergy problems that don't make sense, try changing away from Huggies to see if the rashes stop. If they do...complain! We have to voice this problem in order for them to hear us and change back to a safe formula. I have a picture but my printer isn't working for me to scan it and put it here.

The Global VP of Digital, Ecommerce and Customer Relationship Marketing for Kimberly-Clark - maker of Huggies, Kleenex, UbyKotex and others is an abusive, discriminating homewrecker to homes with babies. Kimberly-Clark has factual documentation of these claims, including his own admittance in writing, and has chosen to turn a blind eye. This man threatened subordinates and contractors making out-of-scope demands with no additional pay, and used his influence of power to home wreck homes. This caused so much stress on the women involved, one pregnant woman's baby has developmental injury. This is all fact and true and they cannot deny it. So this company cannot be well-equipped to market to families, moms and babies when they let sociopaths run their global business.
I purchased a pack of 88 new born little snugglers diapers and they are all mis-sharpened. The dip at the top of the diaper for the umbilical cord is not just a dip, it is a full circle. It seems like the diapers were cut wrong.
I believe this is causing malfunction in the diapers because all of them are leaking. (This could also be dangerous for the umbilical cord. )
hi brought a pack of nappies a few wks back, i noticed that when i opened them they were quite small, obviously my lil girl must av grown a little, althoufh she's been in maxi for ages and still is. The reason for my complaint is that 1 inparticular nappy was faulty. As i had no other nappies at the time i had 2 put 1 of them on my little girl. what was worse is that the nappy wasn't right inside. There was no way i was gona b able 2 leave it on my daughter. The padding was completely out of place.
bought huggies nappies for my grandson as he was a bit loose, used 5 nappies out of a 56 pk to find every nappy leaked, i was very annoyed at this as i thought huggies were value for money and not as much bleach in them as, ie, pampers. i used to use huggies for my children when they were little and never had any problems, please can you reply to this message and inform me what has changed for this to occure, thank you very much, a dissapointed miss j ormston
It has been very annoying lately I am a father of two young boys one nearly 2yrs old and one nearly 4yrs old, and I have been having a stressful time opening a pack of huggies baby wipes and they are getting so tightly packed I can hardly grip a wipe to come out individually and for the price you pay which to me is expensive should not be like this am totally unhappy!
We as a family have used huggies nappies for a number of years now with no real problems, We have a newborn baby girl (10/11/09) we brought huggies newborn nappies (5) packets, and the last packet that we opened we have had 6 out of the packet so far that the tapes are not secured to the nappy. When you try to fasten the nappy the left hand side tape pulls away from the nappy, it may just be a bad batch, the batch number is:- [protected], this problem will not stop us buying your products it is something that me as a customer thought needed to be addressed by your quality control inspectors.
yours faithfully
Mr Paul J Whatkiss
I use huggies nappies on my son, and they are great.
I used to use Newborn of course as he was just born and in a few boxes as i used to purchase 140 or 120 boxes the valcro was missing. This happened twice.
I am now using crawlers and i have 3 valcro's missijg so far. I kept one if you want me to send this in?
This is dissapointing as nappies are not cheap and ths keeps happening? What can be done please
on recently puchasing a pack of huggies super dry size 6 x 38 pack for my 2 year old on putting a nappy on the side tabs were not there so after picking another one the tabs were hanging off, i checked and in disgust at least 20 plus were not with tabs so overall not happy have always used huggies but feel let down now
I have been buying Huggies Dry comfort since November 2010 and every time there seems to be faulty nappies in the packet. It was usually 5-10 faulty nappies. In April 2011 I baught another two packets of Huggies Dry Comfort and found 18 faulty nappies in the one packet and 23 in the second packet. It either did not have a strip in the right hand side or when you open it, the strip is loose. I am really happy with Huggies in general, because it absorbs very well, but now I have this problem. it is really a waste to buy nappies and you can not use it.
huggies superstar competition
Dear Sir,
I have purchased Huggies Dry Comfort 20 Diapers packk for my baby. In both packs
I got 2 coupons for huggies superstar competition. As in the coupon I sent sms of
unique code to 575758. Unique codes are as under:
462S852M2B85 and 556UM5585B83
But these codes are coming as invalid keywords. When the keywords are invalid why
they have to be printed in the coupons? I am not understanding why it is coming so
even we enter the correct code. what we have to do?
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Hi I am participating in the contest. There is a printing error. Pls sms
HUGGIES to 575758
I too have 5-6 unique codes but none of them seem to work i get a response "xxxxxxxxxxxx is an invalid keyword. Please use the correct keyword and try again"
horrible quality of huggies dry comfort diapers
We had bought 6 packs of Huggies Dry Comfort L (packed 5/11/09 A ZE & 7/11/09 A ZE ) for our twins but we are disgusted with the quality of the product. Out of the packet of 50 over 70% of the pieces are defective.
1. The side grip strip comes off easily - even before it can be put on the diaper.
2. The side grip strip comes off after it has been put leading to diaper leakage.
3. The material is causing rashes on the children.
4. Soft cotton inner core gets damaged as the side grip tears off
Prior to this, we were using Pampers and Godrej Libero and did not face any problem.
We had filed a similar complaint (ref ticket [protected]) which was responded by your letter number 478/December/2009 but with that only one packet was replaced. We still have 6 packets of the product lying with us. Please arrange to refund the entire money and get the packets picked up as we are disgusted with the quality of the product and your quality checks.
We are aghast at how such a reputed company like yours can put out such 3rd rate products in the market and assume that it will sell with such horrible quality.

Its now my forth pack of Huggies Gold for girls size:4plus and I'm sad to say that, yet again, from the beginning of this pack I am so dissappointed. This diaper doesn't even get so wet and after half an hour of change the side stripes and elastic have given up causing leakage and my baby girls clothes to get soaked. The most frustrating thing is that the Diaper isn't full at all and I have to change her ever so often and its a complete waste of my money. At first I was really satisfied when I began using the size 3 but now at size 4plus it seems to be really Pathetic. Because my baby has sensitive skin and has had problems with nappy rash with other products I've stuck to purchasing Huggies but its so frustrating to get up @ 3am every morning, not for a feed, but to change saoking wet clothes off my girl and change sheets! This has now become a regular pattern and I would really like it to stop. Please take us, Hard Working, concerned parents into consideration and do something to sort this problem out. I mean surely all these complaints show that there's seriously something wrong with these poor quality diapers. Tell us what needs to be don't to get some action into this! Please I am in desperate need to have this problem sorted! I don't want to change my entire product line but I will be Forced to if there's nothing done to help us. Thank You.
My name is jason farley, ive had this same problem in the past, i keep buying your products and still not satisfied. I have to change my daughter 3 times through the night because the diaoers seep through and go all over her clothes and sheets. Its not right to put a gaurantee on a products and then have this hapoen. I have to buy 2 boxes a week and its not fair, especially since im on a fixed income. Pkease find a way to make this right. Contact me at jas010986@gmail.com or [protected]. Please i love your products but im not happy lately, pmease fi.d a way to make this right. Thank you
i waste a lot of my precieus time by sending the sms to Huggies . i brought two big packs of Huggies for my daughter and there is no dout that Huggies is the most reliable one than the other diapers in Indian market.
i want to be a club memberbut it needs MVC that is mobile verification codebut when i message to Huggies.co.in with my mobile reply was that Huggies is an invalid keyword please use the correct keyword and try again.now what could i do?i tried lots of time but everytime same answer.
