No customer service response to my email
I've been trying to log into Indeed.com unsuccessfully for a while now, even tried to change my password so I can log in; no success! I want to close my account and without my log in info, I'm unable to do even that.
I have reached out to them via email, as their phone lines are a waste of time; and still no response.
I need to update my account so I can start anew.
Desired outcome: Customer service or chat with a person would resolve my complaint.
Disabled employers accounts
We had been using Indeed for over one year and everything was running smoothly. Then all of a sudden Indeed disabled job postings on our account. We inquired about this development from Indeed Team and initially, they did reply to our query but we still have not been given the exact reason why the feature of job posting and contacting candidates has been disabled. Now customer care is not replying regarding our situation and we are unsure how to take things forward. We want to keep our business on Indeed as it is the best platform for recruiting. Uncertainty looms over us right now and we could not find any other way to contact Indeed. So, it is hoped that this review might aid us in resolving our conundrum or at least make the Indeed Team aware that customer service hasn't been responding and accounts are being disabled.
Desired outcome: Enable our accounts or at least let us know what is being done wrong on our end
Blocked Account
I am Recruiter at Al Mustafa Medical Centre, I have posted two jobs and after a week closed both due to a reason. After that indeed.com has blocked my Employer Account without mentioning any reason. Kindly do solve these issues as soon as possible.
Harrasment
Will not confirm my cancellation are cancelling several times. They keep sending messages ‘payment declined" this is harassment! They will never get another penny from me.
The service and quality of leads were dreadful. I will never use again and if they don't stop jarring me I'll take them to court and post on every social media site.
Desired outcome: Stop demands for payment and wipe my data
Searct/Hiring employees
I needed to hire employees to relocate to another area (the US Virgin Islands). It was my first time on Indeed and their representative told me over the phone how to best set up my "want ad" for my needs. This involved ads in multiple cities around the country. The rather expensive ad produce few candidates.
I contact tried to contact my rep but got a new rep named "Trover". He told me that my previous rep had "done it all wrong" and that I "will get credit to my account" Then explained the problem. Wth his help, I used a different ad set up. I was awaiting my credit notice but never saw one, then got ghosted by Tover. I have since tried to find a remedy on Indeed.com but there seems to be none. at this point I will reverse my CC charge if I do not get at least a start on a resolution by June 18, 2021
Desired outcome: Refund or credit
Indeed Messaging
A kind word for HR departments out there who are using Indeed.com to offer jobs and Indeed Messaging to communicate with applicants: Offering a job to an applicant thru Indeed Messaging is terrible protocol and shouldnt be done. Yes, I just lost a job due to Indeed Messaging. Indeed.com no longer has any message boards of use to leave feedback for the company, thus why I'm here to implore to employers: Please do not use Indeed Messaging to offer someone a job. My recent experience went like this: I was contacted by an employer to conduct a phone interview, which took place on the Friday before Memorial Day weekend. After a 15 min interview, apparently I had gotten the job, except the employer never had the sense to call me directly or email me directly to offer me the job. Instead, they spammed me thru Indeed Messaging until they took the job away a week later since I never saw or responded to the requests. I'm flabbergasted as to how this happened and now even suspect the HR dept of this 'company' (EMD Sales in Baltimore, MD) thought this was the correct way to approach a job seeker. Indeed Messaging is notorious for simply being spam by dubious companies or entities not offering real, tangible jobs. I only get spam thru Indeed Messaging... except for this one case.. in which HR simply couldnt be bothered to dial my phone number or email me directly (both pieces of info are clearly on my resume). So, I guess, I was simply completely out of luck, but to HR depts out there--Contact your candidate directly if you're offering a legit job. Ive been unemployed for over 6 months, suffering from the typical burnout which chronic unemployment causes, and this trick from this 'employer' only adds to the woe of not feeling like I'm being of use. Of course, I suspect the company wasn't legit.. but yes, please do not offer a job thru Indeed Messaging. Thank you.
You were not dealing with a legit employer. You were communicating with a scammer.
Jennifer Neibauer got my name and resume off of Indeed contacted me about being her assistant.
Jennifer emailed me about being her assistant and that she got my information off of Indeed. Stating that she is coming back to Dallas to live and needed me to help her with some orphanage. Saying that my pay would be $650 a week. She FedEx me an overnight envelope with a check for $4, 859.50 drawn off CoBank. This morning I contacted CoBank to see if this check is a fraud and indeed it is this account on the check belongs to a customer who's account has been compromised. Indeed do you do any background checks on these would be customer and them using innocent people. Jennifer instructed me by email and I have all those emails to deposit the check in my account and in 24 hours the check will clear take $650 for myself and she will give me the address to send the rest of the money by money order. FRAUD FRAUD
Desired outcome: This Jennifer Neibauer be prosecuted she is saying she works for Neibauer Press which is not true
Says she found my resume on Indeed and needed an assistant . FedEx me a check overnight drawn off on CoBank for $4, 859.50 Says she takes care of orphanges and I need to deposit the check and in 24 hours after it clears take $650 and she will give me the address and name to send the rest of the money to but it has to be in an money order. She sent me a email asking if I received the check. She is contacting me by email and text I have all the information she sent. I called CoBank which the check is drawn from they informed me that a customers account has been compromised and the check was a FRAUD
By now, everyone should be familiar with the 1. personal assistant scam 2. the fake check scam
Deborah, this is clearly fraud. I feel for you. Please report Jennifer Neibauer directly to Indeed.com. That account needs to be banned asap. Sadly, I think these types of scams are very common on Indeed.com and these fake employers create multiple fake accounts offering countless jobs that don't exist. Sending any type of check then asking for any money order in return is very clearly a scam. Sorry this happened to you.
Unable to complete testing
I am taking testing for ROYAL SLEEP and I cannot complete the portion using the verbal responses. The testing will not allow me to continue and I have to opt out at 96% complete. I would appreciate it if you can you contact the company of the issue on my behalf to let them know I could not complete the task due to an issue on your end. Possibly be able to do that portion of the test again without spending the additional 1/2 hour or more that I already have accomplished.
Desired outcome: Contact employer and tell them I there was an issue on your end
Pathetic service from indeed
I have used indeed for long period of time but now its service is getting worst day by day. One of the Worst Service by Indeed. Very Much Disappointed all my accounts are getting blocked how come a single recruiter can pay you a huge Amount of Money and the Last if You Cant provide free posting then please take that statement out because there are lot more best Job Portals compared to you but you was giving best Free Job Positing and you are degrading yourself in that only now.
Desired outcome: All Accounts are getting Blocked
Regarding a job offer
Because you're the only website that I submitted my resume, I want to inform you that this person is who is offering me a job using a legitimate company name, address, phone number and website is a big SCAM. Everything looks legit on her email, the letterhead, logo etc. Because I have this gut feeling so I phoned the company and asked if they are hiring and sad to know they are NOT and doesn't have any opening at the moment.
According to this person's email a recruitment company forwarded my resume to their HR department.
You have take some actions how you can provide security to people like me using your company who are looking for job before these scammer(s) can do more harm to other vulnerable job seekers.
food 4 less in madera ca
this is the second time you posted food-4-less in madera ca as hiring. when we went there again they said they were only taking applications and new nothing about hiring on the spot and did not even get an interview. what is going on?
Jobs ads
Like many other job applicants, I've been using Indeed.com for years in search of a new job. I'm very careful about reviewing job requirements and applying only for those jobs I can verify I satisfy every requirement. However, Indeed.com hasn't proved useful to me in my job search. I am trying to close my account after first making sure that all my personal data are removed from Indeed.com. Their instructions to do this are:
"As a job seeker, you can close your account by signing into your Account page. 1) Click the Close My Account link. 2) You will see a confirmation window. If you are certain that you would like to proceed, click on Close my account. Please note that this is an irreversible action and cannot be undone."
I've followed these instructions repeatedly, even clicking the Indeed.com link in the instructions (to the close account page). All I get is an error message: "Not found. The requested URL was not found on this server. If you need assistance you can contact us or visit our home page." I've reached out to Indeed.com via their contact link, but no one responds to me.
I want to remove my data from Indeed.com and permanently close my account. I believe I have a legal right to do this, but so far following their instructions, I cannot.
Desired outcome: I would like an Indeed.com representative to respond to my inquiry with valid steps to close my account and remove all my data from Indeed.com.
Meijer
I waited over a month and a half to hear back from meijers. Had two interviews. Now was told I wasn't chosen. They won't give me a reason. Besides I'm more than qualified. I'm very very upset about this. Plus the second interviewer was very rude. They promised three times, three different days and times to call and failed to do so.
Lois Timko
[protected]@yahoo.com
Desired outcome: I want a reason in writing as to why I wasn’t selected which I’m entitled to.
Indeed has nothing to do with this, they are simply a job posting site. They are not going to contact Meijer on your behalf. YOU need to reach out to Meijer and ask for feedback and if they won't provide that information, you cannot force them to. There are plenty of other companies to apply to.
I just want to offer support to you, Lois. Sometimes major companies have the worst HR departments. I had a similar experience with Amazon last year. Amazon seemingly hires 'immediately' thru an online application only to take the job away for countless reasons. In my case, it took Amazon over 30 days to take the job away that was due to start 'immediately' due to pending bit of legal trouble I had in another state, legal proceedings that were held back for over a year due to Covid19. Needless to say, I'll never apply for Amazon again. Sounds like someone at Meijer HR really dropped the ball on your application. I'm sorry to hear that.
blocked account - no valid reason
SO upset!
I have had an account for years, now Indeed closed it, for no valid reason. I have 100$ credit and 29 free resumes and now NO ACCESS. My account suddenly got blocked, no explanation or refund. It claims it's not suitable for Indeed?! It is an office assistant job posting. I cannot speak with anyone to get this resolved? I have not seen anything like this.
AND for 3 1/2 months I have dealt with Indeed website glitch, I have called in 4 times and was told every time they are working on it, but I stayed patiently waiting for the Indeed support to eventually fix it. Now Indeed blocked me and I lost all the resumes I PAID for?! AND now they are ditching me to the curb? Absurd!
No more Indeed, I rather spend my money on Zip recruiter.
[protected]@gmailcom
Desired outcome: activate account or a full refund for all paid job posting and resumes
Cannot post my job
My account has been disabled from posting a job and I have not been provided with an explanation as to why they have disabled it. My account is under [protected]@therealtyden.com and the user name is incorrect. I cannot change it to the actual company name The Realty Den Corporation. It will not let me change it, says I cannot appeal their decision to keep the account disabled.
I cancelled this account last month but still trying to charge me
I created a job in the month of Feb on the Employer side of Indeed. After reviewing their website, I decided to cancel my job ad and employer login to deactivate the account the same week. I called and spoke to a representative to ensure I followed the proper steps to cancel and deactivated. We also went over billing, I advised to her I won't be able to use the site anymore and I was re-assured the account was disabled and no charges would go against my account. Fast forward to March, I received a bill so called Indeed CS on 03/03. as I'm getting billed over 200 for a service I asked to cancel and did not use. I was told the system only allowed the Rep to deduct 50.00 off a balance that I did not even know was re-occurring. I asked to speak with a Manager and the Rept name Bradley refused, I asked to escalate or email where I could make a complaint and the Rep. Bradley refused and said no way for me to make a complaint with the company or escalate. This is bad business practice on Indeed part, if the original CS person dropped the ball and didn't fully cancel my account why am I being charged?
Desired outcome: Remove all the charges on the account as promised
Non return of funds
Since the 24.09.2020 I have been in contact with Ciaran Horan regarding my account and the fact that the money £1000 was originally taken from another account and not the registered account.
Since then I have been in contact with several different departments to try and get the refund that was promised to me.
The emails have stated that Indeed have been trying to source my refund but I have never had a reply or any money refunded.
I would like this resolved as I have been promised phone calls which I have never had and when you are trying to run a business this is not acceptable.
The last email I have had with Ciaran Horan was 2/11/2020.
I would like this resolved before I take this further as it seems that all of the Indeed employees are just ignoring the issue.
jobs
indeed posts jobs that do not exist, when you go to there different stores we are told there is no openings, fake news! we are refering to savemart companies, were indeed is constantly posting for job openings.
Scam job site
This is a scam job board. They post jobs that do not exist. When you go to the actual company website for a job offer there are no jobs. the number of fraudulent sketchy emails from supposed recruiters is in the dozens. One company asked that I download a program to my pc to see if it was compatible to work from home while they remotely accessed it. Before any interview took place. I keep getting emails from companies that say I will make 30 bucks an hour as an executive and they love my resume. To be clear I am a customer service clerk. No where near qualified. This company needs to be removed form the world.
Nope. Indeed is an awesome job board. Job-seekers need to realize that scammers will slip through the cracks and use common sense when applying for positions.
Just want to offer you support, TBCanadian. Indeed Messaging is a joke. It's rife with spam from shady companies and scam artists. I just lost a job due to Indeed Messaging.
Spamming
Lately, I have been receiving spams in my Gmail account for another gmail customer. I have been complaining to Google about receiving this person's email and I have actually complained to Google about this abuse and nothing has been done about it. I have been receiving this person's email for several years. This person lives in South Carolina and I live close to the West Coast. That person is looking for jobs as a janitor and I am an Engineer. What is the problem here with this issue?
