My wife and kid was traveling through Indigo from Mumbai to Hyderabad today, and this flight has been delayed by 2 hours where my wife has a return flight just after an hour she lands, but now that flight has also gone for toss.
So as an average passenger, my wife approached this specific flight attendant named Jyoti Singh Jadav , where she started swearing on my wife in front of all the passengers, she was super loudly shouting and yelling at her and also told to never book any Indigo flight from the next time and “you can leave right now I will open the doors for you”
I mean is this how Indigo has trained their staff to help with the approaching helpless passengers?
This is just too sad to hear.

I was travelling on indigo flight date-13-09-23 time 5:40 to 7:30 am from mumbai to raipur on flight 6e5001. One of the cabin crew was arrogant and her behavior was rude. I ask her for refreshment which was chargeable but she said let me distribute to other passengers first then she will get back to serve me but she didn't came back and she was near my seat what was the problem to give the refreshment at that time and it was not like that she was not having the refreshment at that with her. I always travel in indigo flights this was not what I was expecting. I Dr. Subal Sasi and Sneha (wife) were traveling from Kochi (COK) to Qatar (DOH) via Hyderabad (HYD) on 26/07/2023 and lost my 4 luggage bags. We have registered a complaint in Doha airport (file reference no: DOH6E29241) The bags contained medicines which should be consumed daily without any break as prescribed by doctors in India. The bags also included our basic needs. We cannot avail of any of these medicines in Qatar without the prescription, which is included in those bags.

Extremely disappointed with baggage handling and customer service
I have been a customer of IndiGo for several years, but after the recent incident, I am deeply disappointed and have decided that this will be my last time using their services. My overall experience with their baggage handling and customer service was nothing short of terrible. The condition in which my new luggage arrived was shocking, with the slider chain forcefully pulled out along with the lock, rendering the suitcase completely unusable.
Upon discovering the extensive damage, I immediately reported the issue to the representatives at the Delhi Airport, hoping for a swift resolution. Adding to the urgency and stress, I had a connecting international flight to catch. The staff at the Delhi airport wrapped my bag in plastic wrap and assured me that their team would contact me regarding compensation.
However, the response from the customer service team was utterly disappointing. I was not only denied any compensation for the damage but was given a flimsy excuse based on a technicality – they claimed that I should have reported the issue to the arrival staff rather than the departure staff. This arbitrary distinction is absolutely absurd and highlights a severe lack of accountability and customer focus.
The mishandling of my baggage and the deplorable customer service I encountered have shattered the trust and confidence I once had in IndiGo. The refusal to take responsibility and rectify the situation is deeply concerning and reflects poorly on their commitment to customer satisfaction.
I sincerely hope that my complaint is taken seriously. I expect to be compensated for the damage done to my luggage and the inconvenience and frustration caused by their mishandling and inadequate response. It is my hope that this incident serves as a wake-up call for the airline to improve its baggage handling procedures and customer service practices.
In conclusion, my experience with IndiGo's baggage handling and customer service has left me deeply dissatisfied. My flight 6e 1176 from Colombo to Mumbai via chennai, after purchase of a couple of alcohol bottles from duty free at chennai, I was denied entry of the same in my cabin bag but instead I was sent back to give it in my check in luggage. After landing at my final destination in Mumbai I found out that all my bottles have been broken due to the negligence from the airlines. Boarding Pass not issued to Senior Citizens
My wife and I, bpth senior citizens travelled from Bangalore to Vijayawada on 15 Jan 2023 . PNR GP5YXZ.
As per website, Boarding Pass was to be issued 3 hours before departure. We didn't receive it. We called Help line. The operator...and after much waiting Supervisor are helpless and say they cannot help it.
WE WANTED TO USE DIGIYATRA APP TO WALK THROUGH USING BOARDING PASS TO AVOID STANDING.
The Help Line has PARROTS, not humans. Whatever we try to explain they have only ONE answer. "WE CANNOT HELP IT>>>SYSTEM FAILURE".
Even the counter outside gate entry could not issue Boarding Pass, forcing u to struggle through all queues .
WE REALISED WE WERE NOT ISSUED BOARDING PASS TILL WE REACHED INSIDE COUNTER BECAUSE WE TOOK FREE SEATS. FOR PAID SEATS INDIGO ISSUES BOARDING PASS IMMEDIATELY

Inefficient staff
I travelled on PNR FPIB9T. First of all the flight got preponed and I didnt get any communication. There by I missed my flight to Delhi. However, the staff at Bhopal rebooked my leg for the later part of the day to Delhi. When I returned back to check in my luggage they wont accept my baggage until DOHA as my final destination was DOHA. And from DOHA I had onward journey with Turkish Airlines to JFK
The staff - Ahmed and Saad denied my luggage booking till DOHA. They called Delhi manager Omar Farooq who instructed them that they cannot allow me to fly to DOHA. I said when the ticket has been issued (since I hold US passport) there is no reason for me not to allow travel to DOHA. And I confirmed with my onward journey to JFK via Turkish Air. Then I requested to be boarded to Delhi and then I flew to Delhi and rechecked my luggage to DOHA and it was done without a question in Delhi.
My question how come these guys are not trained to handle international customers? Also the so called manager Omar Farooq sitting in Delhi must be fired immediately. Because of his denial and instructions to Bhopal team members they didnt allow my travel acceptance to DOHA. How come INDIGO issued ticket in the first place to DOHA if the airline thinks they control the immigration too?
Hence, I request complete investigation into this matter and appropriate steps must be taken to educate your staff and not misguide passengers.

I was Travelling from Srinagar to Abu Dhabi on 21st November 2022 in Indigo Airlines

One of my suitcase was damaged and broken from bottom and top. So much so that the suitcase is useless now.
I was told at the airport that I'll recieve a full compensation for the same and they confirmed that the damaged suitcase is useless.
Now I was contacted in an unprofessional manner via WhatsApp number +[protected] and offering a voucher of 50AED which is highly disrespectful.
I've bought that suitcase for INR 12,000 which currently amounts to around 540 AED and all I'm offered is 50 AED like a tip given at a restaurant.
The person at the other end was very unprofessional and didn't respond to my text message after I expressed my disagreement with the resolution and lack of professionalism.

Dear sir
I wish to travel doha-delhi-raipur on 4th march 2022. Flights 6e1774 (4th march) & connecting flight6e 358 (5march) are separately available but not available as single ticket, how come it is possible that indigo denying me the right to fly with less (3 hours) layover time and offering 7 hours layover in delhi. It is very unfortunate that we are being troubled by our leading indian career. This is very unfair practice, if I book separately then I will have to shell out 12000 rupees for extra luggage at delhi because from delhi I will become domestic passenger with half of the 30 kg luggage allowance, so in order so charge extra money the airline is not allowing either online or through travel agents to book the convenient flight.
If they allow me to book then I would be considered international passenger up to destination.
I request authorities to look into this kind of malpractices and indigo should stop cheating the passengers.

Bad servives and late refund
I booked a flight under PNR: BFCVRL to fly out from Singapore to Aizawl on 2nd Dec 2021 through Expedia, however all flights are cancelled for Dec, no notice was served until I found out myself. Tentatively was given change of flight in 17 Jan 2022. Later I cancelled the flight as the date is too late. But till now, I have not received the refund yet. All counters and contacts in Singapore are no more in use. How do I chase for my refund. It is no fault of me as your airline cacelled all flights in Dec which I booked, very unreliable and irresponsible airline

I wanted to complain about the services of the Indigo flight personnel during check-in at Kolkata domestic airport on the 20th of August 2019. I was due to fly to Jaipur with my family on the 19th of August on flight 6E 394 directly from Kolkata to Jaipur at 14.30. We arrived 45 minutes before the flight as stipulated but we were not allowed to board the plane . We were told that flight had closed which is a false statement. There was plenty of time we had three hungry kids-4, 7 and 11 and elderly parents over 75 years, one with Arthritis and the other with Type 2 diabetes. There was another passenger before us who got to board the flight. Then how is it that the flight was closed? The reason we were given was that we were 8 people and we were not allowed to board as by the time we finish check-in and go through security it would compromise the flight departure time. This was a ridiculous excuse and blatant dishonesty and denial of giving us the services we paid for (over a lakh rupees). The gentlemen on the desk directed us to another desk to re-book another flight. I was quite disappointed and loathe the false bureaucracy and sheer inefficiency of your staff. Not only did we have to pay extra to book another flight (Rs. 12.000), the new flight was not a direct flight as our original one and we had to wait in Delhi airport for 4 hours before our connecting flight to Jaipur . This cost us our hotel booking and car hires plus our plans for that evening. Needless to say the inconvenience we experienced due to physical fatigue of children and the elderly and mental stress.
My brother, my husband and I have traveled extensively on international and domestic flights. My husband and I are UK citizens. Nowhere have we experienced such incompetence and dispassionate behavior towards clients. We are not free riders. We paid a lot of money for these flights and ended up paying more despite it not being our fault. Any humble requests from us to have some compassion on our elderly parents and children was met with ignorance and 'shaking head' to say no. On our way back from Jaipur, in order to avoid yet another mishap due to incompetent staff (not all, certain), we arrived two hours early and saw passengers boarding Indigo flights as late as half an hour before the flights were due to fly. How would you explain that?
I am originally from India and I am saddened every time I visit as I cannot help but compare our quality of services with other countries. Whilst there have been many occasions when I felt elated about services provided by our hospitality industry during our recent visit to India, the experience we had with Indigo has left us with a sour taste and would not recommend Indigo to our friends and family. In flight the Indigo plane, every time the flight attendant announced that you take pride in punctuality. Whilst punctuality is essential, I hope you agree that compassion and understanding the needs of your clients is also important. The western world thrives on punctuality but they also consider the needs of their clients and honest behavior. If we actually were late I would expect the consequences but we were not. We were within stipulated time.
We would like to request some form of compensation and ask you not to ignore this email. Even though your front of house let us down I hope the management would take it seriously to improve services and contact us with options of compensation.
