Getting InsuranceClaimCheck.com to release funds is nearly impossible. They lose documents over and over again. Each time you call you get a different rep with a different document lost or one that gives the all clear, the funds are being drafted and will be there by Fedex in 3-5 days only to call back and hour or day later to be told NO, you need the same documents you submitted almost daily for 9 months.
We have all suffered a loss and this third party company many mortgage companies use is an insult and causes more unneeded grief.
Getting my money to rebuild I feel isn't ever going to happen and I can't do anything but resend resend resend. I'm tired and this is enough.
If anyone knows of a class action law suit against InsuranceClaimCheck.com, let me know.
This is not against my mortgage company but the company they choose to use in an insurance claim for property lo.

From reading all the complaints online from people just like me who are describing the same issues as I am going through, I know we would have a strong case and win.
We deserve or lives back and in a timely manor.

I finally received my check after 6 months of bullsxxx. Lost one contractor over this. Now I get a letter I'm supoosed to have everything rebuilt in 45 days. What contractor sits and waits for months while I fight to get the money I should have had way back in March? It's now Sept and I'm on a waiting list to begin construction hopefully, this month.
I'm lucky the only other contractor in the area can still build it this year.
Now I have to worry about penalties for not having it started because insuranceclaimcheck screwed me round for most of the year?
I'm stilll interested in filling a lawsuit against this company and on behalf of all of us who go through this.
Their blundering is why I'm last on the rebuild list to begin with.

I am interested! I am having the exact same issues with Insurance Claim Check and my mortgage is through Cenlar. I have been HOMELESS since I filed my claims for roof damage and inside water damage 7 MONTHS AGO! This has been devastating! They tell you different stories each time you call! They had all of my financials INCORRECT! They misplaced funds! I have asked to speak to managers over and over for their mistakes and a manager has never ONCE CALLED ME BACK! They lose documents to the point you have to resend over and over and over...I’m exhausted. This has been going on for me since February 2019 until now which is October 2019! We all must do something! [protected]. I reside in St. Louis, Missouri. Thank you!

I have been dealing with these blood suckers since February 2020 and have already done most of the work and still no check that my home owners insurance, that I pay out of pocket sent me back in February

I am a public adjuster working for a client/homeowner in Minnesota that was insured with farmers union Insurance that was in the process of being sold to National General Insurance I believe the transfer or sale finally occurred between April of 2019 and August of 2019. The wind/water loss occurred on September 21-22 of 2018.
Initially the insurance company under their TPA adjuster Barbara Hansen with QBE Americas Inc, paid the insured within a month or so of the DOL a minimal ACV payment of $3, 900.00 +/- on an RCV claim that they assessed at around $5, 000.00. They withheld the $1, 000.00 deductible, but the repair / assessment was for the resulting damages to the interior only only and they never addressed the full damages or the cause and origin of the damages at the roof and chimney which far exceeded their initial assessment of damages..
Since the sale of the company we have been working with a new adjuster Mr. Patrick Martin who has been most delightful to work with.
I did not become involved under contract with the Property Owner / Insured until May of 2019 and we have gotten the new insurance company adjuster to acknowledge all of the damages and pay the full claim of $74, 832.31 less the deductible + the permits and his ALE that is ongoing. Repairs began last Monday August 10, 2020
Now we get to deal with their mortgage company as the previous checks did not list the mortgage company as payees. This check is in the amount of $40, 561.37 and now lists the insured, Myself and the mortgage company on it which is specialized Loan Servicing as payees. I have contacted them numerous times and finally got a call back today. they immediately transferred me to the loss draft department Jared Welsh [protected]. I had gone onto their website www.sls.net as directed by automation and retrieved a 3rd party authorization document that listed an email address on it I sent them a copy of my contract with the insured my limited power of attorney form, my mortgage authorization form a copy of the $40, 561.37 check, their 3rd party authorization form the adjusters explanation / worksheet and about 10 total documents that I thought would allow someone to talk to me about my clients insurance claim and how to proceed with processing this check.
Specialized Loan Servicing states that they have not received the documents that I sent to them last Tuesday August 3rd 2020 and have redirected me to their loss draft department which Mr. Jared Welsh [protected] +0# has advised me are in a completely different location and that I now need to redirect my efforts to upload a bunch of their required documents at insuranceclaimcheck.com and he provided me a claim tracking number and started to tell me about the documents that are part of the required docs but as soon as I asked him about the W( for the line went dead...I believe he hung up on me.

So I am about to enter the insuranceclaimcheck.com site to see what they require and saw your site and other complaints against insuranceclaimcheck.com in other articles.
I am wondering if you would like me to BCC you to scott@tullylawfirm.net to follow on the process and if that would be of any use to monitor how they handle this loss from the start.

I’m interested! I had a pipe burst on June 6, 2020. Insurance sent me a check around the end of June. Insurance claim check.com has refused to even pay for the mitigation company for the work they did on date of loss. They were getting ready to send it to collections because it was billed on 6/17, so I had to borrow money to get them paid. They are refusing to pay out because they haven’t received an adjuster’s worksheet. There is no adjuster’s worksheet! Because of Covid, State Farm is not using adjusters at this time. They are using contractor’s estimate. I’ve sent them letters from State Farm to that effect. They’ve been sitting on the invoice from the mitigation company and the estimate since 5he end of June, and are continuing to hold MY money hostage. I just want my house fixed. And, frankly, it’s insulting to be told that I’m not capable of having it fixed myself. It would already have been completed if I’d just been allowed to do it.

Although my checks are made out to me and my mortgage company, after reading these complaints, I will not send my checks to Insurance Claim Check. I cannot afford not to have the money for months before our roof gets fixed. I'll keep the checks myself.

Hello Scott, I am having there same problem with them. I called my mortgage company Specialzed Loan Servicing they refuse to do anything. Each time I called mortgage company they transferred me to insuranceclaimckeck.com. I asked them to talk to manager they all ways transfer me to insuranceclaimckeck.com

This exact same thing has happened with me as well! I had a hot water leak and roof leak in February 2019 and just THIS MONTH they have finally started releasing funds after jumping through unnecessary hoops, begging and pleading on my part! My home also developed mold due to the timing of them releasing funds! They also had all of my financials completely wrong and applied funds to the wrong claim, etc. It has been a devastating NIGHTMARE! I am homeless right now due to this...I cannot live in my home until the work is completed. I can’t believe I have lived like this for the last 9 months.

I am currently going through m4ore of the same. I am housing and caring for my parents, both elderly. Our Mortgage
company is holding our insurance funds hostage. We recently had freezing temperatures and are without Heating/AC unit damaged during flood. We have gutted our home, so have little protection from cold or hot weather. We have
contractors standing by, taking other jobs ahead of ours, because our claim check is held up by our Mortgage Co.
I've read the comments and fear my parents will not withstand the length of time they will take to resolve this.
This is not right!

I am having same issues. All work is done and paid for y me and hurricane was TWO YEARS AGO. I am just trying to get reimbursed and I don't even want the money! I just want to put it on my loan but they won't let me. LOL. I will email you Scott. I want in on class action- I am an attorney too but not for class action fyi.

I am having issues as well, i am currently on hold trying to get a check released that my contractor has been waiting on since May 2019, they keep saying they don't have this, that, or i need a inspection, inspection was done moths ago and shows on their sight, all paper work has been faxed, and uploaded numerous times. I now have a lien on my house and the contractor is threatening to sue us for the check and fees. I can't give something i don't have.

They have not changed. They refuse to endorse my last insurance check and have me resubmitting more and more paperwork. All work was completed on January 4. State Farm has been fabulous, but this company represents my mortgage. As long as the inspection shows that I have a new roof, why the runaround and angst? The two contractors to be paid are threatening liens on my property. I will definitely put in a complaint with my mortgage company who uses them.

WE are experiencing the same egregious acts of inept and unqualified people at this place. WE flooded in September, 2019 in Texas. WE have uploaded all documents, called daily, spoken to noone that has any idea of what is going on, called various phone numbers that show other states -- DE, OH -- and they are all direct Texas lines. Our last inspection was done on FEbruary 13, and I have pictures of the documents that the inspector work with, signed, and we signed. I personally uploaded these pics to the site, and when they posted the papers, the information was NOT what the inspector had done when at our home. I want to know who is committing the fraud -- this less than business like business or the Inspector, Pat Neff & Associates, Lubbock, TX, or are they working together to further harm people? scott@tullylawfirm I am interested in joining the class action. Damage was done to my home on October 16, 2019. They keep saying they need this document then I send i they say they never got it. Then when they get it then it's another document they need. This been going on since then. Now it's March and my contractor can't do the job. And they stated inorder for me to change I need a signed letter from the contractor stating they are not doing the job. Now I'm trying to contact the contor to write the letter so I can send it in with another contractors paperwork. I pay my money to State Farm not them and I been without my entire Kitchen since October 2019. It's very frustrating and has me so depressed. Count me in.. qscott72@aol..com

I am interested as well. I've been fighting for 4 months to get payment and this is after 12 months of "repair" that should have taken 4 months. I've had health problems and financial problems and they seem to care ZILCH. I've been given mis information and chronic delays. I'm DONE!

Please count me in as well. I live in NJ and not sure if that is a problem. My mortgage co is Cenlar. I sent them everything they need and have made multiple phone calls, at least 2 a week and I still haven't received the initial 25% of 14, 000.00 that I sent them. They are supposed to release that to start the project. I had to borrow the $ from a family member to get the work done. My tenants had no walls or ceiling after water damage. I requested an inspection at 50% completion that they requested and that was on 3/20/2020. I still haven't heard anything from them other than BS excuses. They keep telling me they need confirmation from the IRS regarding my contractor who sent them every legal document and a W9 4 different times. They won't give an exact reason as to why it's not being accepted. I'm about to lose it. PLEASE HELP!

My parents have a claim open with these clowns and I've been trying to get them to release the funds since January of 2020. Today (4/29/20) I got off the phone with yet another clueless agent who bumbled through the conversation telling me that they are waiting for documents that (as I explicitly told them in numerous conversations both written and phone) DO NOT EXIST. They keep on insisting on receiving contractor agreements - again, they don't exist as all repairs were done by me. I've requested exemptions 3 times, and was told only one of those exemptions was denied (no reason given). I'm pulling my hair out, and now reading other horror stories, I am wondering if I will ever see this claim money that the insurance company PAID OUT -- and their inspector signed off on all repairs 100% satisfied (as per insurance adjuster worksheet).

I definitely want to join a class action against these cretins, or in the least file my own complaint with an AG. If i were to file, which state do I file with? Based on my property address or based on Cenlar/ICC state of registration? I think Cenlar is in NJ, I have not the slightest where ICC is as it's not obvious what state they are in (this could be a DBA, or a shell company for all I know). Please, does anyone have any advice on how to deal with this?

Our property suffered major damage from Hurricane Michael on October 10, 2018 and we're still struggling to get our money from them to pay a contractor who already did the work. My story is the same as everyone else. We had electrical work done on 2/20/2019 and have been trying to get this money ever since. Every time I check on line it shows documents not accepted. I then pick up the phone and call and they tell me they are waiting on paperwork from me. I have faxed this paperwork several times but they say they never received it. I'm concerned this contractor is going to place a lien on our home.
We also currently have another large check to send to our mortgage company to cover more damage but I'm not comfortable sending it to them.
Please help us. We'd be interested in joining in.

Scott@tullylawfirm.net I am having the same problem and have had it before with them. last time, the roofer was knocking on my door every day - city signed off on work done, but could not get them to release funds.

This time I have a slab leak - spewing water - $1, 000 of it a month. my house is starting to shift and same story - need this paperwork, need it again... I don't have all of the contractors lined up yet, just the plumber and all i'm asking for is the money for him. he won't come unless I can pay him c.o. d. all of the paperwork is in - still waiting...

Scott@tullylawfirm.net I'm new to this insurance claim check process but not new to Insurance claims. In the past 2001 we had a fire, 2011 hit by a tornado and now another tornado 4/12/2020. This company received our insurance check on 6/7 and processed by 6/10. Today is 7/10 and over 15 calls, 47 paid receipts sent, subcontractors info sent in have not received a dime. We are 75% complete with our repairs, requested 50% inspection on 7/3 and nothing. I need my air unit replaced but need the money to pay that subcontractor before receiving the unit. Tonight I took a picture of 79 in my house. Yes, it's hot! I hope I have a better outcome than the others but have a feeling I won't. Please sign me up! I did submit a letter today for Senior Management for help and document all the time lines and conversations since they say they record the calls. This company is a real joke and the customers are always wrong.

I have been trying to get 5000.00 from these blood sucking company since Feb 2020.. The sad thing is thst my home owner ins company sent me a check in February for the 5000 to repair the damages and I had to send it to insurance claim.com which is part of my mortgage company and now they’re saying that I have to hire a contractor that wants 20, 000.00 for a 5000.00 job and these blood sucking people won’t even give me the number to the head Quarters so I can talk to someone that is in charge it’s so ridiculous

I am having same problem with Insurance Claim Check.Com. Both my 1st mortgage Specialized Loan Servicing & 2nd mortgage Loancare are using Claim Check.Com to handle funds to fix home. It has been going on for 3 years of fighting with Statefarm insurance on $206,000 worth of damage on my home.

Now with Claim Check.Com They lost 2 of my checks, they said they mailed 2 other checks but it's been 21 days since they said checks were mailed. I have been calling everyday for the last 21 days to see where the 4 checks are. I keep getting different stories from everyone. They keep denying my adjusters work sheet, saying it’s not complete.

Every time I requested to speak to a supervisor I’m told there is not one available and they will submit a request for one to call me back. I’ve yet to receive a call.

I am up for class action law suit.

As I type I'm on hold with Insurance Claim Check... phone says 25 minutes and counting. I am waiting for them to release my $18, 000 check.
Work has already been completed OH just disconnected! How nice. Damage was done on August 4th. Got the checks from the insurance company.
Forwarded them to ICC. They will not release these funds! Now I'm behind on my mortgage bc I used those funds to do the repairs... thinking...
I will have my insurance check to pay the mortgage. I'm in on the lawsuit if someone contacts me.

I am is the same boat as everyone else on here. I am trying rebuild a $300k house and all they have gave me is $46k and I'm in debt to my contractor $75k and he won't go any further. I get a different story from a different person every day and I'm tired of fighting them for my money. Has anyone had luck sewing them? I have threatened them several times and they don't seem to care.

Same story here, 362k in damage ten months ago and they have paid out 106k of it and we are almost complete on the project. No one answers emails and the phone always dumps into voicemail. At this point if I don’t get a check there is a good chance my contractor will lien my property.

I just received my checks from my insurance company and my mortgage company is using this insuranceclaimchekcs also.I am reading what has happened to everyone and now am soo disappointed to have to send them these checks. I to have a roof leak and it will start to rain in about another week or two. Does anyone have any advice?

This company is a joke. My garage was knocked down by a tornado in August. Insuranceclaimcheck keeps denying my adjusters work sheet, saying it’s not complete. Myself and my insurance company has sent them ever document they have requested several times. Every time I requested to speak to a supervisor I’m told there is not one available and they will submit a request for one to call me back. I’ve yet to receive a call back. I would like to list my house for sale but am unable to because my garage had not been rebuilt because because they will not expect the documents from my insurance company. I’ve lost 2 contractors and spent money out of my own pocket. I also still have no garage so my property is being damaged sitting outside.

Same exact problems. Mine is with PennyMac loss claims dept. Been 7 months since I sent the check to them for their endorsement to get my roof replaced from a storm. No matter what document they want, I send. Next time I call, it's a different document that they need. It's a no win situation. In the mean time, roof is leaking into my home in three places.

Very interested in a lawsuit. We have been living in 1/3 of our house with only a bedroom, 2 bathrooms, an office & a laundry room since 2/2021. We have sent all necessary paperwork multiple times by fax & overnight, certified. 3 representatives have told us that our initial funds are being released so I would keep checking the mail only to find out a week or 2 later that they changed their mind. We didn't receive any notification regarding the status change either. I'm so tired of living without a kitchen, living room, dining room, master bedroom & being surrounded by stud walls, scaffolding & insulation. We are having to borrow money to at least make it livable. Flooring & kitchen cabinets are in but we don't have the funds to pick them up. Now we run the risk of losing our contractor as well.

I have had the same problems getting the money from insurance claim check... This time, I've been trying to get an inspection for a month.

Omgosh! We too are dealing with insuranceclaimcheck.com. Our home was destroyed by fire last May. Mortgage is with Wells Fargo. First check to my contractor was released by insuranceclaimcheck.com without problem. Now that we are over 50% complete, we have been trying to get an inspection since January 18th. They keep saying someone will get back to us in 24-48 hours. Nothing! My contractor says he may have to pull his crews off the job! I'm absolutely lost and have no idea what to do. Advice would be so helpful! If it's this hard to get an inspection I can only imagine what will happen when we try to get more $ released nybthe inaurance company! I could just cry!

scott@tullylawfirm, Please contact us we are also dealing with the same BS. Every time we call it's we need this and that we send it but now we need more, We are down to 1 handyman that is willing to help but he is almost done with us and i can say not being able to use or bathroom for over a year and with reading the horror story's above we will continue to do so unless someone steps in to help. Same problem with Insurance claim check.com . After all they really don’t seem interested in helping those who are trying to restore their homes. It’s as if they have some ulterior motive to force upon us forced insurance or take our property away from us. I’m all in for a resolution so please send me information reference lawsuit.

Same here been out of my home since August my family and I are sick of hotels. We have four contractors all of which I submitted the documents to this place to show deadlines on when I need debts paid. There process does not register in the construction world. With supplies going up and being scarce I need my funds readily available. They sent a inspector and demanded we submit a clean air test to move forward. Something my insurance company and building inspector aren’t even requesting. I paid outta my own pocket for one. Of course it passed and submitted it. Only to get 40,000 of my 156,680! There driving my to the point of no return.

Have gone through the same, documents that were accepted then lost or no longer accepted for a new reason now. I am having to come out of pocket for the repairs, my wife and I have had to live out of our bedroom and bathroom while cooking on the grill or flat top because the funds are being withheld even though i have submitted pictures and receipts that the work is being done. Have also requested to speak to a manager and was told 24-48 hours then 5 days later still nothing. Ridiculously [censored]ty service. along with non educated (on the business) representatives.

We have 44k sitting with loancare through insuranceclaimcheck,com and after 6 months, nothing. We are retired, disabled vets and cant afford to repair our property without the insurance funds. So, we are resorting to filing a complaint with the VA over this (ours is a VA backed loan) and several other companies and associations to get this resolved. But, if someone starts a class action suit, I'm all is

They are only releasing 50% at a time. Luckily I had some money in the bank to meet the gap. I don't know how anyone can rrebuild . It's apparent that they want to repo the house. They are extremely difficult to deal with. I showed them proof I paid 25k out of pocket and they sent 5k. My rebuild is 240k. I'm going to have to walk away because they won't release funds. I will file suit because I can't get draws of my money.im getting a loan so I can rebuild. It's disgusting how they treat people. I never thought I would have to fight with my mortgage company. This has to be illegal
