JC Penney st john's bay apparel faded all over my body and tote bag - the outside of the fabri

Purchased St John's Bay item Supplier 72881-6 [protected]@93677, orange/red top with eyelet trim; did not launder before wearing and was shocked to look at my arms to find them beet red as if severely sunburned. Then checked my canvas tote and it was also reddish orange all over from carrying it is a sling bag. Obviously the dye was not set or something other in the manufacturing of the fabric and garment. I have no idea of how to return this garment, it has been worn, not laundered due to dye possibly staining my washing machine, wore it once but had already tossed the receipt.

Suggestions? I have many St John Bay clothing items, never a problem but the shirt is useless and if it fades without even getting wet, what a mess if washed. Please advise.

Hope to hear something soon, hate to take back a shirt that has been worn, but will drive the 80 mile round trip to make certain the other shirts in this collection are checked for same problem. The dye was semi permanent on my arms and is on the canvas tote bag until it is worn out.

JC Penney salon

Had a hair appointment at the JCP salon in Tallahassee, FL at 1500 Apalachee Pkwy. Arrived 10 min early to appt., was checked in and told to have a seat. 10 minutes after my appt. was to start, I was told that the stylist was not even scheduled to work today. Why would a salon take an appointment if the stylist was off? This is not acceptable and JCP has lost my business!

JC Penney nike shoes

I was excited walking into JCP Northgate store shoe section to find they had a label saying 25% Nike Sale, I found a sneaker I really liked but it had a miss mate sticker on it and felt disheartened, I looked in all the boxes in the same row it was in and managed to find the pair, I was excited. I tried them on, they fit perfect. An associate walked by and complimented it and said it was the only pair left. I figured since they were cute and on sale, why not (sticker on shoe was $55). I walked up to the very front to the cashier and she punched in the $55, total being $60 after tax. I asked her to make sure they were on sale as the label said 25% Nike sale, she checked and said they weren't on sale. If they aren't on sale, why is that sign up there? So misleading! I was mad but remained calm, declined to pay that much and left the store. I hope this isn't what is going to happen to others who are wanting to purchase Nike women's shoes.

JC Penney stafford shoes

A few years ago I was in Aurora, Colorado taking care of my 25 year old son while he went through a stem cell transplant, he was active duty Marine. Unfortunately he didn't survive the ordeal. I had taken lots of clothing with me, I was there about 4 months, but didn't fathom he wouldn't survive and had not packed any dress clothes. I went to a JCPenney store and purchases a complete suit along with a nice pair of shoes. I wore that suit to my son's funeral, put the suit and shoes away in my closet when I returned home. A year or 2 later I again wore the suit and shoes to my mother's funeral, and a year later wore the same to my father's funeral. Each time the shoes were returned to their spot in my closet. Last weekend instead of a funeral. I had the opportunity to wear this outfit complete with my shoes to a wedding, it was my only brothers daughter. The wedding went great, thank goodness I didn't need to walk or move very often because at the end of the wedding as we celebrated their union and stood outside cheering on the happy couple, I noticed I was walking lopsided. Upon further examination, I realized I had completely lost 1 heel from those shoes, by the time we walked to our car I had lost both heels and parts of the soles. I was so embarrassed to have lost a heel and everywhere I walked a black shoe print from my shoes in this extremely prestige Catholic church. I'm not sure how or if you can ever make this right, but wanted to at least give the opportunity. Thanks, Marty White. JC Penney item I wanted to purchase that was on clearance

I went shopping this past Thursday for a suit and other items, luckily I found twin sheets marked down to 4.97. While checking out that sheet set came up to 100 dollars even higher price than the regular price in the package that was 80 dollars but I told the cashier this is marked down to 4.97, she called the Supervisor Linsey and told me that the only one that can override the item was the manager and he was gone, that if I want to return tomorrow and she will let the manager know and fix it for me even I told her I work and I can come after 5:30 o 6, she said it is fine that she will leave it where they put things by register. I came back next day and asked the same cashier where is the sheet set she looked all over and said I do not know . I talked to a different supervisor and he said that the override has to be done when manager is at the store before 4. Well she told me another story and he said come back another day. I told him all I buy is to take it to my country to use it in my house there and I es flying the next day and to come back, well I found other sheets reduced and happened the same thing the cashier has to call the supervisor and told me that he could not sell those either and needs to be done before 4 . I was getting upset and that supervisor Ryan did not care and said come back then and rude and he did not even apologized for the inconvenience or anything, I did not like the way he treat me and I am thinking to cancel my card, I asked for the manager's name and phone number and he wrote the name only and when I asked about the number he said for what if he is not going to answer you. I said wowww I guess this issue has to scale to corporate then if the employees are like that I can not imagine the manager. All the staff their looked like high schoolers even the supervisors or cashiers, I guess they have to train well or get people with experience that the girl when I have my card to pay she was not sure it was the Jc nenneu card or other day I went without a card, the cashier could not even do a temporary card in the register. The store I am talking about is in southlands In Aurora Colorado, manager's name is Tom Michaels, supervisors Linsey and the rude one is called Ryan . I hope this does not happen to other people and if the can at least have a class for customer service

JC Penney my bill

Today at 2pm I called customer service to get my bill corrected. At last billing, I wrote a check for $225.96 - instead of $226.95. Obviously I reversed the numbers on the check - so my account was left short by $.99 (which was not shown on the bill). When I called I spoke to inez - who not only couldn't find my account, but was eating something while speaking to me, couldn't find my phone number, you get the picture. She refused to remove the $2.53 of interest that was charged to my account. I am furious - I have been a penney's customer for years, and have spent tons of money (look at my account for confirmation) and have never ever been treated like I was today. She spoke like a robot - did not listen to me. Eventually I asked for a supervisor - she said i'd have to wait. After almost 8 minutes she came back on the line and said she would just take the $2.53 off the bill - but then rudely proceeded to tell me how to read my bill and write a check... I am very unhappy with this event, as I said I am a long-time loyal customer and am totally insulted by this treatment. And all for a lousy 99 cents. Hopefully - I will receive some kind of apology from penney's - or I just may go back to macy's. It is a sincere shame that penney's doesn't care about being kind to paying customers like me. JC Penney no notification of order from store

On May 20 I ordered a pair of Propet shoes for work, they were received in the store on May 22. I received no notification from the store that they were there for pickup. I kept checking the order and all it said was shipping in progress. On June 7th I again checked the order and it said item returned. Called the Customer service department and was told that the special orders go to the back of the room? and yes the shoes were sent back because I did not pick them up. The lady I spoke to tried to make it right and reordered the shoes and will ship them to my home instead however it will take another 7-10 days to get there. Very unhappy with your service.

went to pick up a wallet that I bought for a gift. I buy a lots items that I order at jcpenney. com . the girl that was there was very unfriendly and look like she was angry at something. she tells me that I needed the number of the item. I told her that always go there and they just look it up in the computer I have bought more items in there that store and I have never had any problems. I guess she didn't like me. I ask her why she was been so rude. she said she wasn't. finally another girl came to help her and she told what to do. her name was Gaby !, she didn't want to give me her last name. this happen this morning arournd 11.30 am. 6/6/2018 . I know that employes need to be nicer and friendlier. hope you you talk to her. she acted like she didn't want to be there.

JC Penney no one to help in getting a suit for my son

I went to the Freehold mall in New jersey on June 5th, 2018 to get a suit for my son and as I am in the store there is no one to help with trying to get sized for what I need. I don't know if there's a cutback on help or they just don't want to come and spend time to help or you just don't hire no one to preform that type of help in that department as they did years ago. Also by the dressing room were opened soda cans and old outfits that people tried on laying all over and I got there 10 minutes after opening. Maybe you don't have a staff to clean up during the night. I am sorry but I don't know if I will be going to Penny's to shop any more guess it is just pick what you want and collect money. JC Penney blue jeans

I purchased 10 pairs of Arizona jeans around black friday of 2017 i have only worn Arizona jeans for the past 10 years but here recently i have noticed the pocket seam tearing. I have 5 pairs already out of 10 the seam has just torn out completely i am a fairly decent sized guy (6ft. 200lb.) But i do know my pants arent to tight. I have to wesr a belt or they do tend to slip down so there is some room. All i carry in my rear pockets is my wallet and can of snuff. This is getting quite ridiculous because even on sale thats over 100 dollars in jeans ruined in a few short months

JC Penney service/checkout issues

Second time I have returned items and only one person on a register with numerous people in line. First time took me twenty minutes to return 1 item. This last time, on a Saturday night there was one older gentleman on the register. There were two customers in front of me. I honestly felt bad for him because he honestly did not know what he was doing and had to keep calling for help. When mgr came to help they looked at the now long line of customers and just walked away instead of calling another sales person to get in register or hop on the register themselves and help out. After well over 20 minutes I finally got my turn at the register only once again to have to have him call for help. When I left there were 12 people behind me at the register. I don't think I will be ordering from them again anytime soon. Returns take too long for sure.

JC Penney bully, retaliation, harassment and abuse of power

So I have never known any employer where your ability to keep your job is determined by being friends with specific individuals. I have never been so disrespected by any employer, she is definitely a wolf in sheeps clothing, the kind that literally smiles and hugs you while pulling the knife out to stab you in the back. It 1st started with the most nastiest unprofessional attitude everytime a question was posed and she is one of those people who speaks with there facial expressions so it's like what the heck now. It's since escalated to the blame game in a big way, the downfall and lack of success in the store is all the fault of specific supervisors only. But as we all know the sucess of any business is based on the attitude and mentality of the one in charge. And not the mentality of this is my store and I dare you to question or second guess anything I say or do. So as grown folks with common sense you know when your being pressured into quitting, more keeps being added to your plate, it's your fault things weren't done even when your not there. Even though you are not given the tools you need, the notifications or the staffing you need to accomplish the goals of doing what you would love to see is the store turning around to being a success as opposed to taking the easy way out and pointin fingers. It is impossible to maintain a store that size when you have the least staffed team. All the major outer appearances of the store rely on the limited amount of people you are provided with. My pray is that as a team and a woman in leadership stop trying to find ways to break each people down, you didnt get to to being a leader by discouraging folks so show your bether leadership by encouraging and uplifting. We're all different and because I don't think like you or believe in your ideas doesn't make me the ops. I will not be frustrated, I will not be bullied or harassed and last time I checked this company I enjoy working for has a freedom of speech/ no retaliation policy.

JC Penney Salon product and service

To whom it may concern,

Hello hope all is well. I am reaching out to you because I have tried to find a solution to a problem I have by talking to people on JCPenney and no solution has happened.

Let me explain a bit further. On May 19, 2018 my husband and I called the jcpenney Salon located at 6000 S Hannum Ave, Culver City, CA 90230. We wanted to know if they did the Brazilian straightening. The person who gave us information said she was the manager and that they didn't do that treatment but, they did have something better called "The Chi enviro treatment. She said I needed to go to the salon for them to look at my hair and determine what product I needed. I agreed to go and when I got there I was helped by a lady called Ada. I told her I wanted a haircut and wanted to get a treatment for straight hair. She said "oh yes your hair doesn't look too bad" she gave me a price of 175 for treatment and another 35 for a haircut. I also asked how long the straight hair would last and what where the chances of my hair getting curly again. I was told that it would last three to four months and it wouldn't got back. I said that was fine and we started the procedure. I got my hair cut and I was happy. Then she took me to wash my hair but in the process I notice that the lady who I had talked to on the phone was the one telling Ada how to do the treatment. After washing my hair and waiting for a bit I was asked to sit on Stephanie's chair (person who I talk to over the phone) She had mixed the product that was to go on my hair. As she started applying the product she started telling me that not many people can afford the treatment. That her clients have even paid five hundred dollars to do what I was doing on my hair and so forth. She also reaffirmed that my hair was not so curly as the African American ladies she got and the treatment was bound to last four months.

You can imagine how happy I was specially to hear that this was the best product, that it was natural. It wouldn't damage my hair like the Brazilian treatment does and so on.

After Stephanie applied the first part Ada took care of the rest. Ada was so nice and finished the job. I was so happy when I left. I was told how to take care of it and they provided a free sample of shampoo conditioner and smoothing oil. I was to wash my hair after three days.

On Tuesday I washed my hair for the first time. I got nervous when I started to see my hair drying and getting wavy. On Wednesday I took a picture of my wavy hair. It was no longer straight. I reached out to Ada. She asked me to go see her. I went and she saw that my hair was no longer straight. She apologized and told me she had talked to Stephanie about it. Stephanie told her that "she could do the treatment again but with a better product and that I needed to pay 125 dollars more for her to do it. She even left me her number to call her. The Ada said the other option was for her to do it again with the same product she had used and she wouldn't charge me. I said, do you guarantee my hair won't curl again for the next three/four months. She said she wasn't sure at this point and that the other client she had done this to didn't have a problem. She also said the other time she did this Miss Stephanie did not get involved not even to mix the product.

I agreed to get it done again with Ada but I had to go on a day that she was there and when it wasn't so busy to dedicate time to my hair. I also agreed but when I tried to arrange a date with Ada she has said that the days I am available are not good for her and that she will have to talk to her manager to be scheduled on the day I was asking.

Today is June 2, and Ada never contacted me with a response. I feel super upset. At this point I feel cheated. If they would of offer me the best product from the beginning, I would of paid 125 extra. I thought jcpenney products were all the best, why would this lady say her product is better. I feel some discrimination at some point too. I am Hispanic and her comment that African American do the treatment and pay more money was insulting. Money was not the problem. My thing was to make sure it was going to last the months they were saying.

As of right now I would like the $175 back. I don't think it's fair to pay for something that did not work. I would also like for someone who knows about this treatments to go to the store and check the products. I wouldn't want other clients to go through the same thing as me.

I am attaching pictures of the Saturday May 19 when I first got the treatment. You can see how nice and straight it is. The second and third image are of the Wednesday after washing my hair. It was not straight as the first day. And the las image is the one of today June 2, 2018. You can see that my hair is now curly and not straight at all. It has only been 14 days.

JC Penney rewards program

Apparently when I got my credit card at the end of 2017 .. my rewards did not show in your system.. asked the cashier at my last purchase how many points I had she said 11.. I insisted that couldn't be right as I just ordered and received a chair and have spent over 200$ since getting the card she said call this number and they can look up and fix what is missing.. they were rude and said I had to have my receipts for all in store purchases... I did not keep them as I was told I did not need them.. didn't offer any solution to make the situation right not even sure if they fixed it correctly

JC Penney dressing / fitting rooms

On May 30th, 2018, while shopping with my wife for women's swim wear, at the JC Penny located in the Poughkeepsie NY Galleria Mall, we were advised that the dressing /fitting rooms are unisex. Due to the fact that the dressing room doors do not extend from floor to ceiling, ( there are open spaces at both the top and bottom of the doors), which permit a person outside the room to easily peer over or under the door while a person is disrobein, I find this situation, unacceptable for my wife and daughter. JC Penney south county store, st. louis mo

J. C. Penney should be ashamed of the condition of the store located at South County Shopping Mall, located at Lindbergh Ave. and Lemay Ferry Rd. in St. Louis MO. It has been getting messier and messier for several years but as of this past week I found the condition of the store downright disgraceful!

All the departments with women's clothing were nothing but jam packed racks of Red Zone clearance items. The racks were so tightly packed that it was impossible to look through them and there was no room between racks. Most of the items appeared to be damaged and soiled. Items were all over the floors. Dressing rooms were beyond messy.

I went looking specifically for several items J. C. Penney normally carries only to find that no new merchandise was available, only a store full of damaged old items in disarray. Charity thrift shops are far better cared for and cleaner than the South County store is at present.

To add to the insult, none of the men's clothing sections were in such condition. Only those departments carrying women's clothing. Surely management does not assume that female shoppers want to claw through such a jumbled, damaged, soiled mass of mess to find new clothing! And you wonder why you are losing business to online competitors!

I used to work in that very store some years ago when the management took pride in maintaining a clean, well organized, well stocked store that made shopping an easy, inviting, pleasurable experience for customers. If J. C. Penney expects to survive as a successful, profitable business, you need a total change in how the South County store and all other locations are managed, maintained, stocked, cleaned, and staffed from the top down.

JC Penney online ordering farce

I ordered this product and immediately rec'd a confirmation email telling me my order was in progress. After about 12 days (you say 5-7 business days for delivery), I called customer service to be told it had shipped and should be at the store. I went to the store and they said it wasn't there but checked in the back anyway with no success. They advised they would have another delivery that weekend. Back I go again today, 3 weeks after the order was placed to be told the same thing. I asked them to call the "catalogue place" they kept referring to which they did. Only to come back and tell me that my item was out of stock when I ordered it, is still out of stock, and they have no idea when it will be back in stock. Not only have I wasted 3 weeks and 2 full lunch hours on this fiasco, but I am now out of a product that is part of a treatment plan i've been taking for 3 months with no immediate place to purchase it. I was told I couldn't cancel it but I wouldn't be charged until it eventually is delivered and then I can cancel it. Really poor show jcp! If something is out of stock, don't sell it on your website and don't confirm the order is in progress. I've had the runaround and wasted a lot of time and effort.

JC Penney order # [protected]

I want you to pick up this washing machine asap! It doesn't work. I called the warranty dept and they referred me back to the store (but I bought it online) i've had it less than 3 weeks and it hasn't worked for the past week. It's to big of a risk ($900.00) to keep it and have a technician look at it. I just want to return it asap. Your return policy is ridiculous! There's no way you're going to know if an appliance is working correctly in 48 hrs. I think i'm contacting you within a reasonable time frame and I want this thing picked up now!

JC Penney coupon/ customer service

I visited your penny's department store located in the turtle creek mall in Jonesboro Arkansas. I had a coupon that clearly stated $10 off a $25 or more purchase. I chose a pair of nike brand shoes, that were not on sale and made my way to the clerk /checkout counter which was already a mess I might add! When it finally became my turn the clerk scanned my shoes I gave her my coupon which she loudly informed me without even looking at my coupon (just shoving back to me) that's no good on these shoes! Only on select merchandise! I said... The coupon says any! She then loudly said and I quote! It's only good on select merchandise! I paid for my shoes and left the store $70 shoes in hand! Not to mention I had to drive 45 miles to your store to purchase them only to be treated like a worthless piece of trash! I could of shopped in my hometown buying the same shoes the same price at hibbett sports! But I have always given my business to your company! Never again! If my time, loyalty and money do not mean that much to your corporation! Then I shall spend it elsewhere! Have a wonderful day! Ms. Michelle Smith

JC Penney available merchandise

I have been a loyal customer at jcp for years, that has come to an end. between not being able to find styles sizes and choices of clothing in store on line is worse, the orders are always sent out wrong. I would much prefer to shop in store, however have been told on more than one occasion everything is online. your selections are awful. you stop making and take away popular items. can't believe the awful no selection of women and juniors. Absolutely no capris for juniors. very disappointing this year. Going elsewhere.
