To whom it my concern,

In August 2022 I looked for a Kirby supplier in the Cape Town area and found Az vacuums Kirby service listed under Kirby. It was the closest Company to where my children live.

I took my Kirby machine to be serviced along with the Vacuum cleaner hose (it was damaged) the pipe (it was not damaged) and the hard floor tool (it needed repairs)

The cost was R7950.00 for the service and parts. I paid a 50% deposit and the balance on collection. I live 4 hours away from Cape Town so a friend collect for me. On receipt of vacuum, I contacted the dealers to say the hose - pipe - and floor tool was missing they said it would courier to me.

One Year later I'm still waiting for my items and yesterday I told that they have no idea what I'm talking about they have no record of me on their books and possibly I was lying.

I have owned a Kirby for the last 30 years and find this totally unacceptable. I live on a farm and cannot use the Kirby as need my parts returned.

All I ask after paying this huge amount that the items outstanding are returned to me in good order.

If this company is not an official Kirby dealer, why are they trading under your banner and destroying your reputation. I see they have a Facebook page and I'm not the only one that has had this problem.

Your name reputation and product stand for great value and service but this is totally unacceptable.

All genuine parts carry a 12-month warranty. Please note all machines are kept in storage for 30 days after dropping off or collection of machines thereafter machines will be Auctioned off to defray company cost. Any deposits given towards payments of machines as a term payment will be void if balances of payment is not paid within the 30 days of storing all Kirby’s and the auction policy as stated above will take place. Receiving the quotation you automatically accept the terms and conditions. Please note kirby's stored on premises for longer than 2 days will be charged a storage fee of R350 per day.

I have been in contact with this company every month for 12 months and I have on record all the communication with them.

I realise that you are in America but there seems to be no head office in South Africa that can assist me, I have written to [protected]@issues.co.uk but the email is not being received.

I sincerely hope that you are able to assist me in this matter.
