in store pick up
Ok I paid for and ordered items online thru PayPal, for these items I did get a confirmation of order was received via email, well 1 hour...2 hours...have passed and still no pick up validation via email. How long does it take for an associate to secure these items and have them ready for pickup at least 30 minutes or less? I could have saved more time if I went to the store in person or had them shipped to my home. Someone needs to take another look at this process or this store location, as for it is not convenient to me or anyone else, and after all that time the items I order and paid for were not even in stock at the store which it said it was online. So now after my pick up person went to the store 2 or more hours after ordering multiple products, she came back with out any of the paid for products... she was told that the items were not in stock and will have to be order from another store...I should have went to that store and made my purchase. If the store promotes it had it in stock or at least their inventory correct ("inventory count not correct points to a few things, Retail Theft or out the back door") or if any one does inventory and if it says available for in-store pick up that in my mind falls under false Advertisement. I will make a trip to that
location that I didn't intend to make after my operation, to visit the store in person and cancel the entire order. ( Not the first issue with this store) BAD store or poorly trained associates? or poor Management? or both? CANCEL MY ORDER>>>>>>>>>> will pass this along to Social Media so that no one else has to deal with this unobserved insight on this store...my suggestion...shut it down and do the people of this Community a FAVOR...

Happy Shopping Somewhere Else!
email I received
I received an email from Kmart this morning that I find very offensive! I love Kmart and sears and shop there all the time. I have two teens I'm raising, and as we all know it's a hard job, I'm trying to teach my kids that foul language is not appropriate and doesn't get your point across any better! I'm sad to see that such a big company finds that their ad is more effective by using/insinuating foul language with the use of a child! I'm sure it wasn't well thought out and someone has made a mistake. I can forward the pic to an email the ad I'm referring to that insinuates the word [censor] with poop coming out of a baby's diaper and says blow out sale! Beverly Graham

jewelry department
I wrote a whole complaint about the rude saleswomen at the Farmingville Kmart, Suffolk, NY, and pushed the spellcheck button below. I lost everything I wrote. Was that on purpose? All I know is that the saleswomen at the jewelry dept. thought it was too important to put down her paperwork and help a living customer who wanted to buy jewelry that was locked in a cabinet.
Who looks at these complaints, and do they help running the store better. If I ever go back to the store and am treated rudely, I will take down all the information and talk to a live person just for my satisfaction!
If you read the terms of use here, it tells you that they don't contact or help resolve any issues posted here. This website is more of a way to warn consumers about a bad experience or places that they should steer clear of, its a great tool for that however if you want action to happen at the store you had a problem at, nobody at kmart is going to see this here and you need to contact them through official channels.
bad service
Today 11/07/2017 I visited the K Mart at The Parks Centre in Bunbury, WA. I purchased 1 x Occasional Chair. Fortunately another customer helped me put the item in the trolley. Having purchased the item and I requested, very politely, if someone could help me get it in the car. The 1st person said perhaps the young man at the entrance could assist me but when she approached the lady, who obviously was in charge, she said a very definite NO. They can't leave the Store. I might add I am 78 years of age and have an ACROD sticker so I was parked right outside the door.
I have NEVER had this reaction at any other store. At Big W they are only too happy to assist. Likewise with the Reject Shop and also Coles Supermarket.
Surely if circumstances are evidently such that someone requires assistance the normal reaction would be to assist in any way possible. Maybe that is not the K Mart way.
Luckily I found a young man in the parking area who was only too happy to assist.
I will not be shopping again at K Mart which is unfortunate as there were things I would like to have bought.
In conclusion I hope that by writing this Complaint that you will see your way clear to perhaps reassess your indifferent behaviour to an elderly customer or, indeed, anyone else requiring assistance.
restroom and ac
Today, 7/2/17 I visited the Kmart in Burbank (N. San Fernando Blvd) and found the most disturbing and filthy restroom ever. First stall had feces that desinegrated after I flushed it. That only tells me one thing- that no ones gone in there to clean in a while. Disgusting. The store was HOT and clammy. I don't know how these employees work in such conditions. It's a shame!
in-store unhelpful employees
Today (Sun, 7/02/17 between 4:45p-5p) I wanted to purchase 2 kids pool with my reward points, being that it is 90 degrees and something for my 4 & 5 yr old to do.
I went to the store with my kids. I had both of them in the cart and was unable to get the pool since it was on the outside display. I went up to the cashier and askes if anyone can help me get the swimming outside as I had my 2 kids with me and unable to carry the pools (my intention was to buy 2 of them). The cashier asked 2 women who looked like the lead employees, as they were carrying around keys, and both said I had to go out & get the pool myself!
They were very rude and unhelpful. The cashier felt bad and was trying to lookup the item on the register to see if i can just pay for it and then pick it up outside (which would make sense with having 2 small kids with me); however, she was unable to find the item.
I wanted corporate to know about how rude and unhelpful these employees were at the Bridgeview, IL location.
If it helps, one woman was a heavyset, African American female wearing a light teal blue polo shirt and the other was a thin, African American woman with a black polo shirt on.
The cashier was a young, caucasian girl with long brown hair. She should be acknowledged for going out of her way to lookup the item for me.
I wish I had names to report.
online purchase
I placed an order for a patio set on 6/22/17 at 9:15 am I received an email at 5:01 pm almost 8 hrs later that the item was ready for pickup I go to pick up the item from the Clifton Heights location in E Lansdowne I waited for over an hour at the Service desk for the item to be located brought to the front our to my vehicle only to notice it was the wrong item so back in I go wait another 30 mins to be told they do not have the item there was no consideration for my time no compassion for the mishap the Service team just gave me the look of what do you expect us to do this just might be the final straw because I always have issues with this store just never complained before I'm extremely disappointed Kmart has lost a valuable customer
exchanges
I received a shirt as a gift for Father's day and it was too small. I don't have a receipt but the shirt still has the price tag. All i wanted was to get a larger size. The store refused to accommodate me.
I'm not asking for a refund just an exchange. The price of the shirt is only 19.99. It's sad kmart cannot be more serviceable. My family was kind enough to purchase the shirt for me as a gift. The price is not the issue and when i visited the store, they had racks and racks of items. I have shopped at kmart all my like and to think one small item being exchanged is going ti hurt their business is very sad. I thought customer service would be a priority in keeping their customers happy so they would continue coming back to shop. No wonder they are doing not so well. From now in I will not be shopping there anymore and seek other more accommodating retail stores. I even showed them the credit card statement showing the purchase which included other items totaling about $60.
injured minor/store upkeep and management/
While shopping at the Paradise California store Saturday night at 930 my special needs son was walking down one of the main lanes of the store when he slipped and got hurt on poop that was all down the lane, he was very humiliated his clothes distroyed and he is in pain .The night manager Tom was rude didn't even apologize or get me a report form . I was forced to buy clean clothes in the store and my son 11 years old has bin hurting and emotional because of this nightmare
health hazard
When my family visited the Sidney, N.Y., Kmart. We checked out in the garden section. By the check out there are several outdoor water garden fountains. I have two children and I attempted to redirect my children away from the running displays. However in the process of checking out one of my children played with the "water" in the fountains and then I saw him drink it. He immediately began to spit. I picked him up at this point and that's when I smelled bleach. Apparently it wasnt water running in the water garden fountains it was a strong concentration of bleach. It was strong enough to bleach his clothing that was indirectly touched by it. Luckily my son spit the bleach out rather than swallowing it. If he had swallowed it would have been a very costly emergency room visit. There are not any "do not touch signs" by the display or any warning that bleach is being used by this display.
I am not a dumb woman. Please refrane from the name calling. This was not a beach and my child was not at risk of drowning this is comparing two completely imcomparable events. Most of the time in garden fountains it is just water. If a store that is open to the public is using a hazardous cleaning product there should be something warning the public.

customer service, service desk employee
I visited your Burlington store today to pick up a couple things, laundry soap, dog food etc. There was 2 end caps with tide and Tide pods on them. One end cap was small bags of pods for $5.99. On the second shelf up of the $5.99 end cap, there were 7 lg bags of Tide pods with Downey. I grabbed two. When I reached the checkout I asked the cashier to double check the price and told her where I found them. Told her I think it's a mistake but had to check. They rang up at $11.99. I told her that's what I thought and that there were 5 other bags on that end cap someone may want to go move as they are mislabeled. She said if they are mislabeled you get them for that price. She called a person from the service desk to go check. The service desk employee went back to check, found them right where I said they were. I followed her to show her and she removed the other bags as they did not belong there. She went back to the register and told the cashier it's only the small bags on sale. I said I'm aware the other bags were small but these were with them. She got rude, waved her hand at me and walked away while I was trying to talk to her...I in no way expected the price to be honored until the cashier said they would, the product was found exactly where I said it was and I was treated like a criminal trying to get something for nothing. My intent was to let them know initially but I was told they would honor the price, and then was treated like a liar by customer service and completely humiliated in front of other customers and the cashier, who by the way was quite embarrassed as well. Date of visit: 06/15/17, 11:25 am., Receipt #[protected]. Cashier: Roberta
customer service
I placed an online order for in store pickup. It was just a battery charger. I didn't realize that I needed to wait for the ready to pickup email. The girl at the desk told me that it would probably be a few days. I told her that the item was in store and it was suppose to be ready today. I then asked could I cancel the order and just buy it in store. The manager didn't look up and speak to me directly, she told the clerk " he can call customer service at that number". I waited a little while and received an email and text stating order ready for pickup. When I went back up another girl asked me did they say it was ready. The item still wasn't there. After 20 minutes I saw a guy bring it up but I just waited to see if they would acknowledge me. After 10 minutes passed I went up and she asked me again was it ready. She should have been telling me instead of asking. I told her I had seen a guy bring it up then she went and got it. This was the worst experience I have ever had in a retail store. If I could have cancelled my order I would have.
coleman cooler order by phone
Ordered 3 coleman coolers early this morning to be picked up at the middle village store and was told to await a confirmation email when my purchase would be ready for pickup. I have yet to receive such email or confirmation of purchase however the money was deducted from my account. Called customer service only to be told to expect that confirmation email within 48 hours. I'm livid! I would rather pay normal price then to go through this. Seems deceptive. Kmart just lost a customer and I will make sure family and friends don't shop at kmart. This never happens at wal-mart. They will get my business going forward.
customer service
A manager or team leader, named Valerie was so rude to me and my husband yesterday! There are a lot of things wrong with this store but we deal with it because it's close to home. We always have to wait a very long time in line, deal with products we want rarely being available and rude clerks. Yesterday was by far the worst. There were three lanes open, two of them were messed up waiting on a manager to come help. The one that worked had a very long line! We went to the customer service desk because we only had two items. We've checked out there before when there was a long line and we only had a couple items. We stood there for a few minutes while she chatted with another employee then when she finally asked us what we wanted she looked to see we had items and before we could say anything she barked you'll have to go stand in line over there. My husband said two of the registers are not working and the third has a huge line and we only have two things. She said it does t matter you'll have to go over there. Angry as we were, we stood in line for at least twenty minutes, the whole time watching her stand around. The other two registers were not assisted while we were there. Also I tried to use my points at the register but of course that was messed up too. I'm very frustrated with this shopping trip!
kmart las vegas, n rancho
All employes and managers just have horrible attitudes they dont want to help anyone in person nor on the phone this company is honestly the worst company ive ever in my life had to deal with ! this company needs to get like walmart or target at least the honor their products unlike kmart ! do not shop here the area isnt that great and neither are the people apparently its depressing ! ive never felt such disrepect shopping before !
exchange policy
I went to the kmart store off of Haines road york pa. I tried to exchange my daughter gift that she got for her birthday and was told without a receipt and over 30 days, they could not do anything. The manager also insisted that she couldn't do anything. All I wanted to do was exchange it or sotre credit. My family and I normally put in Christmas layaways but we won't This year. This is poor customer service! I will take my business else where .
manager extremely rude and harassment to customer
On May 29th I arrived at the Kmart store in Kingman, Arizona to pickup some over the counter pain medication. I arrived a couple of hours before your store opened at 8am, so I decided to take a nap until then. It must not have been long after the store opened, i was awaken by a lady pounding on my vehicle telling me I had to leave the property. I told her that I needed to get some medication from the pharmacy department and she said the pharmacy was closed. I told I expected that but I only needed over the counter stuff. She then told me that I had only 10 minutes to get my stuff and leave or she was going to call the police. I walked in shortly thereafter to talk to a manager to let them know what had happen. I was told that the lady who did this was the manager and her name is Raimi. I talked to another manager by the name of Paul who gave me her name and store number (9528) . I didnt end up getting the medication i needed there as the 10 minutes were almost up, so i hurried to a different store to get it. What kind of place treats there customers like this, especially ones that need medication for pain. I'm sure glad a different store had the medication I needed before the pain got worse. I dont believe i will be shopping at a kmart anytime soon.

customer service
I went to kmart for the very first time yesterday and was completely turned off by one of the person incharged there. She wasnt a regular cashier, she might have been a supervisor but i wasnt able to get her name. I saw that kmart has a member deal that you can encash a check. The lady told me im able to get my check encashed if i would sign up as a member and so i did. While i was getting signed up, i noticed how she couldnt get any of my information right. I gave her my employment card that was issued from the USA and she asked me questions like "where is this license from?" And commented that i was "indian", i dont mind the indian part but what really got me was how can she not see that 1. The card is not a license 2. Its issued by the united states of america and 3. My country of origin was also on the card., whats wodse was she asked me to spell out my name for her and i did, but she was say out loud the letters that wasnt even what i was saying. She had my ID in her hands and she couldnt even spell my name right. My name which was marjierey was spelled out marisarida which was compeletely OFF. After having her fumble through trying to sign me up, i was denied to get my check encashed and it wasnt until today that i noticed on a kmart email that she spelled my name so wrong that maybe thats why i wasnt able to encash my check. Its just compeletly ridiculous.
sizing!
So i live in New Zealand. And the sizes here are extremely poor. Usually, i am a 14C bra size. The other day i tried a bra on and i thought it MUST have been tagged wrong. As it would not even clip up. I tried on several more only to have the same result. By the end of my visit the only bra that fot was a 22D! Same with shorts, usually im a 14, i uad to buy a [censor]ing 18.
This made me feel, DISGUSTING.
As someone who has had eating issues. And someone who has a poor opiniom of her own body, seeing that size, was a definate punch to the already very slim confidence. If this is how i feel, how does this make other women feel? How does this make a nice slim woman whi are a size 10 feel? When they will need to buy about 4 sizes to large? ALL of your sizes are ridiculously small. Made for very small people.
There are also alot of women who feel the same about this. So this is the first small step in a series of steps we are willing to take, to have these sizes reviewed and adjusted to fit the average sized woman. Not the woman the internet or the magazines want us to look like!
If im a 14, i want to buy a 14!
shopping carts/ prices
One day my daughter(2) was being really difficult she wanted to ride in basket part of shopping cart cause she does at Walmart well at Kmart the basket part is so low I took a turn and she flipped out of cart. On another day I had her in cart buckled and all like she should have been and I leaned too hard on front cause back issues and she flipped foward and face smacked ground. The clearance prices are not! They are absolutely way over priced. Put on clearance to make people buy these. I feel bad for anyone who spends there $ there gotta wait in one line for 20 mins cause there is no cashiers. I bought a inflatable pool from there which I shouldn't have stupid me it didn't even last a day. I will never shop at Kmart over priced no cashiers crappy carts.
