Lenovo lenovo thinkpad

I Purchased a Brand New Thinkpad and it had a malfunctioning hard drive from the beginning. The hard drive made some very loud ticking sounds and the touchpad quit working shortly after we turned it on. After talking to a real human techie, he thought it sounded like a hard drive issue. So, we got a service order number and mailed our computer in. We packaged it in the original packaging and shipped it insured USPS. It's been over two months now with many emails and several long, drawn out conversations on the phone with people who don't seem to care. We have gotten no where and they want to charge us more money to repair "cosmetic" issues. I have sent them pictures from prior to shipping and they have yet to prove to me that there really are any cosmetic issues. They now have my money and my computer with no help in the near future. What do I do next? How can I get this resolved? I will never buy Lenovo junk again! Their customer service is HORRIBLE!

Lenovo lenovo thinkvision t24i-10 23.8" led lcd monitor

I am filing a complaint with Lenovo regarding their return policy for a monitor that my organization purchased a few months ago. Upon shipment, one of the monitors was damaged (and replaced) while the others were seemingly ok. However, one of the monitors started to display a row of "dead" pixels after 2 months. Lenovo refused to replace/fix this monitor due to their return policy that does not offer any kind of warranty/coverage for monitors beyond the first month of use. This policy seems odd/unfair considering the frequent use that monitors endure as well as damage that may have been endured during the original shipment but was not apparent until later.

Lenovo an online purchase with my debit card

On July 3, 2018 I noticed an unauthorized purchase on my card to your company in the amount of $1337.61. I need to know how to get the purchasing information provided by the person who placed this order. I can provide any necessary proof of this transaction being indeed fraudulent and all of my information needed. I also would like to obtain a copy of the receipt and purchase order.

Lenovo technician appointment

Is it my luck or something, but I had been waiting a call from Lenovo tech support for an onsite appointment for my laptop. I just got a call... the lady on the phone said nothing but how are you affiliated with FAU (my college) she was so nasty with her voice. Speaking with ALOT of attitude and said don't ever do that again. then I said I'm sorry I don't even know who this is, is this for Lenovo tech support? She said ya and I replied your being rude I don't even know who I'm speaking to... and she legit hung up on me! No idea what just happened... I really just wanted my laptop fixed and now I have to wait even longer to figure out what just happened, why I got a phone call with some angry lady over the phone hanging up on me. This is the number that called me [protected]. please help me come up with a resolution as I have been waiting a week.

Lenovo unauthorized credit card charge

On May 3rd my girlfriend was trying to buy a Lenovo yoga as a gift, however the next day she got an email saying her credit card was declined. Confused, we checked the credit card statement and saw that they charged her for the same product 5 times even though she only ordered once. All of the duplicate charges ended up putting the card over the limit, making it unusable. We called customer service to get the charged reversed, but they were very unhelpful and did not reverse the charges, and after the call we checked again and now there were two more duplicate charges. So now there was a total of 7 charges adding up to over $5000 for no reason.

After many hours on the phone and getting transferred to different departments, we finally got the charges reversed. It was a big hassle and it wasn't worth the time to get a Lenovo product. We tried filing a complaint to customer service but there was no response. We are upset that we still have not received an apology yet!

Lenovo lenovo thinkpad computer

I bought a Lenovo Think Pad designed the way I wanted it. I paid over $700 dollars for it. It is a really nice computer and I liked it very well. Like everyone I get updates pushed to me to keep my computer current. I got an update for the BIOS from Lenovo. I finally after a couple of weeks decided to download the BIOS update. I got the normal warnings to use the power cord and don't turn it off as it is a lengthy update. I started the download. It ran and let me know it was going to shut down and then come back up. It shut itself down and the screen went black and I waited. It never came back on and there was nothing I could do to fix the damage caused by the update. I contacted a local person and they said it would have to go back to Lenovo for that type of repair. I contacted Lenovo and told them what had happened and they told me that they had not received anymore complaints like that one and that my computer was past the one year warranty by 5 months and they would send me a box to send it back to them. The shipping to and from was free and quick. It ended up costing me $325 to get my computer repaired from the update they had sent to me. I find it insane that it happened the way it did. I will never purchase a computer from Lenovo again.

Lenovo lenovo yoga 720

I bought my Lenovo Yoga 720 on December last year, since I been travelling I haven't made a lot of recreational use until lately that I bought an HDMI adapter to use in the USB C but it doesn't work because when you connect the adapter it can't fit right because the USB C outlet is like moved 1 mm from the whole, so the adapter can't fit right and it the image on the screen comes and go, it's a faulty connection.
How can I fix this problem?

Lenovo laptop repair

We bought a Lenovo ThinkPad Carbon X1 6th generation. Upon receiving it, the touch screen was registering constant taps on the right side of the screen. They refused to honor any replacement warranty, saying it expired in April, when we didn't even receive the laptop until May. We caved and just accepted a free repair. This was our first delay in being able to use the computer. We sent it in, and then they called us back saying the technician claimed it wasn't a touch screen unit. They had to send it back to another technician from their depot to actually get the screen replaced. This was our second delay. Finally, they fix it and send it back, two days later than they promised. That was the third delay. We received it, and the bezel is wavy and uneven along the bottom now. Completely unacceptable for a laptop of this price. Fourth delay. We called them once again, and they said they'd get a box out to us the next business day so we could ship it in to them again. The box never came, so after two days I called again, and they said there was an issue in their system, and they created a new case and said a box would be coming the next business day. Fifth delay. That was Friday. Today is Monday, and it didn't come. SIXTH delay (This is completely insane!) I called again, and they said because there were two cases open for the same request (a repair box), they didn't send one. What a ridiculous reason. So they closed the two previous cases, and claimed they're sending a box and it should be here tomorrow. We'll see what happens. Completely ridiculous.

Update, they said the box that was supposed to come today wasn't coming after I called. They said there was an issue in their system (which was their original excuse as to why the box never came) and they'd be sending one today to get here tomorrow. They also gave me the information for a few Lenovo partnered repair centers that we can go to under the repair warranty. We'll see how that goes.

Lenovo product issue.

My Name is Satish. Recently i purchased Lenovo Yoga Series Laptop for official use.
The next day i took this laptop i found problem in the screen.The mouse pointer moving all over screen.I complaint Emax Toll free no.As per them its taking 7 days time to service.This is totally unacceptable .If any product issue came when we purchased as a brand new need to provide replacement or alternate model.

I totally unhappy with Emax .I cannot keep my laptop 7 days in showroom.

I have purchased Lenovo ideapad 330 and since start it is very slow and also screen vibrates a lot.
Complained to support, took two times connection from my laptop but it went further slow. There seems mfg defects. Please arrange it's replacement.

Lenovo software purchase at time of laptop purchase

Lesson Learned: I love the Lenovo hardware, I think that they are awesome laptops I have never had a problem. This time, when I was purchasing my most recent Laptop, I purchased software to be included on the laptop directly by Lenovo. WHAT A BIG MISTAKE! I had never done it before and will never do it again. The laptop came without the software and they did not provide a certificate number so that I can download directly from the software company. They did however manage to charge me for the software that they didn't provide. I have called customer support and got the proverbial runaround and still not software. The direct install of software purchase that the time of computer purchase is obviously a scam, learn from my mistake.

Lenovo lenovo 520 24-ast all-in-one

Computer began shutting down on its own without warning 2 days after purchase. Sometimes it wold restart and sometimes not. Spoke with Tech Support several times both by chat and on the phone attempting to get the issue reconciled. At the direction of Lenovo Tech I ran several diagnostic test on both the hardware and software but no errors were found. Still, the problem persisted and finally Lenovo said to send them the machine for testing.
The problem is that I cannot be without the computer as it is the only one I have and I need it for my daily work.
Since I bought it from Best Buy I tried to return it to them and get a new one but it was past their 15 day return policy date (horrible way of doing business) and referred me back to Lenovo Support.
Tried to convince Lenovo to send me a replacement stating that I would then return the defective one once the new one was received. Got nowhere with that.
Even though Lenovo determined the unit was not repairable, the only solution they give me is to return the computer to them, they will again test it, and then will let me know what the next steps are.
Since it is a 3rd party purchase (Best Buy), there are no guarantees.
The carton to ship it back is in transit from Lenovo, albeit they originally wanted me to pay for shipping to and from their repair facility. When I balked at that, they acquiesced and the shipping carton is arriving at their cost.
I can only hope that I do not lose clients because of this fiasco.
Lenovo would not reconcile the issue without the unit being returned and would not issue a RA number so I could return it to Best Buy either.
Best Buy won't take it back without an RA either.
Talk about passing the buck...a true Catch 22. Lenovo won't replace the computer without it being returned even though they have already determined it cannot be fixed thanks to all the diagnostic tests they had me run and Best Buy won't take it back because it's past their 15 day return policy and they need an RA. They say they can't issue one that Lenovo needs to, And Lenovo says that Best Buy can issue the RA as they are the selling party.
You have no idea how frustrating all this is; especially after going back and forth with both parties trying to reach an equitable solution.
I will never buy or recommend a Lenovo computer to anyone based on this experience...don't care that they are IBM.
This should never have come to this point for either me or the other two parties involved; nothing "Customer Friendly" about it; just one company passing the buck to the other and then the other company passing it back.

Lenovo lenovo laptop repair

Lenovo has been "waiting for a part" for six weeks. I purchased an extended warranty for my lenovo laptop. I initiated a repair by phone on jan 15, 2018. The box to return the laptop didn't arrive until feb 10 and required a second call. They show the computer arriving for repair on feb 15 and since feb 21 it has been waiting for a part. I called and they provided no additional information like when they expected the part to arrive or what part was needed. I explained that this is the only computer we own that would do a job we need to complete by april 10 but they offered no assistance, just a lot of "yes ma'am".

I think they should provide us with a loaner machine of the same model until they can fix mine.

Lenovo ideapad 300s

Really disappointed by the quality of service. My notebook is less than an year old and had hinge issues. Went to above lenovo service centre.. Well they replaced with new hinge and guess what.. system crashed as soon as bought back. Fan sounds like god daamn motorbike.
Complete Trash service! would never recommend anyone to buy Lenovo products or repair in their service centres. Buch of jokers. upon bringing down third time, the lenovo service office issues hand scribbled note as a Service order. Worst service center ever!

Sir/ I have used Lenovo k6 power model phone and this 6.0 type of Android has been replaced by 7.0 in the lenovo service center. Now I have a call history that is empty, but it does not have a history of callback, it is said that this can not be replaced by the old 6.0 android service. automatically process automatically call going up, causing the foot is very unhappy

I had very bad experience using lenovo vibeshot. I bought this handset on 29th December 2016 in Oman - Muscat - Ghubrah lulu hypermarket. The handset for over heating. Sometimes can't even hold the phone near to the ear while calling. I went to jumbo electronics which is an authorised service centre for all lenovo device. First they told me that problem is due to bug. They downgraded the OS. That took one week. Same problem. Complained again in 3rd week of December 2017. Then they told me that they have to change the mother board. Then received handset around after 15 days. And as usual facing same problem. Didn't even installed anything yet. Just used camera and the phone started heating up. I'm sure that they didn't replaced motherboard. They lost all these days and gave me my phone back. Today when I received handset and faced same problem. They started arguing that this is what it is. And now the warranty period expired.

Lenovo lenovo thinkpad x1 yoga

I purchased a customized Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga ($3, 000+) in September 2017. The integrated SD card reader was broken out of the box. Now the depot wants to charge me more than $700 to fix the broken SD card reader after wasting my time for two weeks. The company QA/QC failed miserably and their solution is to charge the customer.

All I am asking for is to have my laptop fixed. I expect for the company that sold me a $3, 000+ customized laptop to stand behind their product and fix their quality control failure. The SD card was broken out of the box. Considering I already lost over five days, I shouldn't be forced to file a complaint for Lenovo to stand behind their warranty. Case# 405BDGG

Lenovo repair of lenovo flex 3

I had a repair on my screen just before the warranty expired. The returned machine soon had the hinge break. I suspect due to improper re assembly after installing a new screen. Now the screen has cracked. Very poor service and a lack of quality control. I expect that nothing will be done for the warranty has expired but it is very strange that all resulting problems are clearly related to a shoody repair. How they respond will determine what will happen every three years for the next 30 years.

Hello, I bought a Tablet in Lenovo México Web Page on 11/24, it was paid inmediatly by bank transfer, up today 12/5 neither the customer service phone answer nor changes in my status order.
Still shows:

Your action is needed to remove your order out of process hold due to credit block. Please contact support for more information and additional help.

I was calling to lenovo pone, 018003-LENOVO (536686) and nobody answer since 11/24! I called minimum 20 times in different hours. Also I sent 4 emails to: Lenovo e-Commerce Mexico [protected]@lenovo.com, I attached the bank receipt, no answer up today.
Please if you can help me at least informing if the delay is due to out of stock and how much time I have to wait to recieve my product it will be greatly appreciatted.

Lenovo customer service fail replacement of defective laptop authorized, but not provided. don't know where to turn for help?

I had trouble with my Y70 Touch laptop since it was purchased in October 2015. Upon receipt there were several sticking keys, and unit was subsequently replaced in November 2015. I started to have issues with the replacement unit in April 2017 where the screen would blink constantly. The graphic card was replaced in late April 2017 and while it solved the problem initially, by August the blinking was back and worse than ever. I reported the continuing problem with technical support on 8/21/17 under case #[protected] which was converted to #[protected] once the case was elevated to the case management department on 8/24/17. After corresponding with case manager Tyrell Smalls located in Morrisville, NC on suitable options, he authorized replacing the unit with a new IdeaPad 700 17" - Black / Part Number: 80RV002UU on 9/15/17. A couple days later I provided him with my CC# over the phone which was required to guarantee my returning the defective unit within 10 days of receiving the new unit. I emailed Tyrell on 9/27/17 to inquire about status of replacement as I had not yet received the new unit. This email went unreturned as well as additional emails sent on 10/4 and 10/11 nor did I receive an out of office/bounce back email. I tried calling Tyrell on 10/4 @ [protected]...the mailbox was full. It was obvious that he was no longer with the company and no one was monitoring his email. On 10/4 I called technical support to make them aware of the situation and ask them to reassign my case to another case manager so that the replacement could happen. That was the first of 4 calls to technical support that have resulted in absolutely zero action or follow-up.:
10/4 - I called Tech support - spoke with supervisor Micheal - told he would follow up with case management dept and someone would call me within 24 hours. No call received.
10/11 - I called Tech Support - spoke with supervisor John - told same thing. I explained that this clearly was a case where Tyrell was no longer employed by Lenovo and asked if he could call a supervisor in the case management dept so that the case could be reassigned. He said there was nobody he could call at case management dept - he had to send a message to have them follow -up. I asked him to personally follow-up and call me back (since he was not able to give me his direct #) to which he replied he couldn't guarantee that he would be able to call me back, but that someone would within 2 business days. No call received.
10/20 - I called Tech Support - spoke with Kiki. Tried a different approach, asking her to submit a new case. She spoke with her supervisor who said it needed to remain the same case #, but they would send it to a new customer relations manager. Once again I was told to expect a call within 2 business days. No call received.
11/6/17 - I called Tech Support - spoke with supervisor Ryan. He was very nice - said he saw the problem and said he would personally follow-up. Crickets.
Its become funny at this point how bad this has been handled - there's been no service whatsoever. There is clearly a disconnect between departments - this should have been a relatively easy problem to address by simply having the manager of the case management dept assign my case to someone else to ship the new unit and close out the case. After having been approved for replacement 2 ½ months ago I still have no resolution. I paid for extra warranty coverage for next day service…ha, what a joke! I am posting a complaint here as I cannot get any response through the normal customer service channels. What do I have to do to get this resolved?!

Lenovo thinkpad

I just got a new Lenovo, and I've been working on a project for a few hours. Word should have saved my work automatically every minute per my options settings, but it apparently didn't. My complaint is this: Lenovo wanted to do another update — which is fine — except I snoozed the reminder because I was in the middle of a project. That didn't matter, and without warning all my programs closed, nothing was saved, and I lost hours worth of an important project. I'm angry.
