Lenovo Legion 5 ultimate support service

i bought this laptop wile shoping online thinking i was shoping online with walmart directly not a third party.computer arrives not the one as shown i call them asked for a refund walmart they said they didnt do refunds after 45 days inthere prior website it said 90 days ,it was not even opened .They opened it at the store and then tell me they do not have it in stock .They gave me a 2 month back date in which i waited till this day no walmarts have had it instock Now so much time has passed by from being told to keep waiting and now im being told im stuck with a dead on arrival item because walmart employees returns department opened a sealed factory new item.Come to find out returns could be returned up to one year if still in its factory sealed original packaging .thier allstate insuance protection plans that i also purchased along with the additional lenovos warranty i had to pay an extra 59 dollars,and yet im being forced to be stuck with this item for lack of customer services ignorance and carelessness.They should now their know there own policy, not to mention all the reps have done is tell me incorrect information upon every call and been a diservice to all any solutions. It seems that your main objective is to antagonize and cause stress in a abusive psychological manor with disregard for caring to assist in any supportive or helpful manor.I feel you don't care about your customers happiness and making me constantly defend my integral ethics .My honest and moral nature is being questioned on every call and that is a''shady business practice ''thats how you train your employees ?Treat your customers with careless abandonment with not a care to actually help a total 26 hours ive been on hold oh yes ive recorded with a stop watch with still not moved on to a replacement order or repair over 1000$ dollars on a more than stressfull situation thats how Lenovo treats doesnt treat there gaming community nothing but a more than horrible experience thank you for your time i know youll have no one call me if you do ill repeat this again the information you should already know but like i said a more but evasive method of opperation to discourage and incite and impose your mackavelion agenda to your customers

Desired outcome: a refund and ill gladly return your product so ill never deal with your company again.ive waisted over a year not including all the time on hold and gotten nowhere. My compromise would be a replacement laptop

Lenovo IdeaPad Work Order [protected]

My IdeaPad has been at the Lenovo repair facility since 7/18/22

Many Lenovo users are affected by hinge problems on their Lenovo laptops. There is a 32 page long discussion on Lenovo forum where users complained of the exact same breakage of their laptop hinges from normal use, which often happens even earlier than the 1st laptop anniversary. There is plenty of evidence of this common hinge problem on Lenovo laptops everywhere on the internet (Reddit, other forums etc). All starts with a plastic screen bezel bulge out in one of the lower corners, then it quickly progresses into a complete hinge breakage. Lenovo is very well aware of this common hinge problem, however, in many instances they refuse to acknowledge that it has to be fixed under the standard one year warranty that every Lenovo laptop is sold with. I have read that there are class action lawsuits against Lenovo in regards to the hinge problem that Lenovo refuses to take care of while they should. 

First of my Lenovo IdeaPads experienced the hinge problem in November of 2021 and the company fixed my laptop at their expense, since it was still under 1 year standard warranty (WO: [protected])

With my second IdeaPad, which experienced the exact same hinge issue close to its 1st anniversary, they refused to fix it saying that "this kind of damage wasn't covered under standard warranty". I was insisting and sent the laptop in. They decided to use a small dent on the laptop corpus as an excuse why the hinge breakage can't be covered under standard warranty. The minor dent happened soon after the laptop was purchased when it slid out of the bag inside the car during driving. The laptop functionality was completely unaffected, the laptop worked fine for more than 10 months after this happened, then the bezel started to detach in exactly the same manner as it did for thousands of other Lenovo users. Everyone in my family and at work knows that I had a small dent on my laptop for virtually as long as I had the laptop and the laptop worked just fine for many months. My IdeaPad has been only used in a normal, for a laptop, manner. Hinge breakage happened more than 10 months after the dent occurred, because there is a flaw in hinge design, and Lenovo knows this. 

With this being said, I am asking that Lenovo fulfills their standard warranty obligations and fixes my broken hinge at their expense, before I have to contact BBB and other consumer rights organizations. Right now, the warranty has expired, however, when I first contacted Lenovo about the beginning of hinge breakage (that I am very familiar with since 100% of my Lenovo laptops had the issue), my laptop was still covered by 1 year standard warranty. When I talked with the repairs department over the phone, I was asking to talk to a manager but was never connected.

Lenovo Lenovo AIO5i computer

I bought a Lenovo All in One computer on April 8th and received it on April 12th. It has not worked correctly the entire time. I have been round and round with customer service. We have had a technician out to repair the machine. It still does not work. I have worked on resolving this for the past 106 days. I have spent over 25 hours on the phone with tech support. I have had 2 cancelled appointments with an on-site technician before one actually showed up. I purchased extra protection that guaranteed a 2 day on-site repair. I waited 26 days for the on-site repair, not 2. I have lost over $2000 worth of income because this machine did not work when it was supposed to and dropped classes I was teaching remotely. After the technician repaired the original issues, more issues cropped up. The computer is a lemon and they refuse to replace it or refund my money. I feel like they have stolen my $1094.98 and I have a very expensive paperweight that does not function as a computer.

Desired outcome: Refund the cost of this machine or replace it with a machine that works.

Lenovo Lenovo All in one service repair

I began experiencing my touch screen issue in February of this year. No resolve. My entire screen went black in May of this year. I was asked to purchase upgraded warranty, which I did. They shipped me a box/label to return my computer to have repairs done. Everything went fine, computer was returned with the screen no longer black but still no touch screen and now my monitor is not properly seated or something. It is almost 2" lower on one side than the other. I have been in contact with the support team on a regular basis since it's return to me damaged on 5/31/22. I have sent in the pics,

I have been "escalated" since 5/31/22. I have been waiting for over 3 weeks for a shipping label to be sent. I have called multiple times and every time I get the same answer that they are waiting on management to approve it. I have tried everything to get some resolution on this issue. This computer is used for work primarily. So this is a major inconvenience.

Desired outcome: I would like someone to repair my computer that was returned without the touchscreen working and with the monitor seated improperly.

Lenovo Lenovo IdeaPad S340-15APITouch

Bought this laptop 18 months ago and already have keyboard problems. Spent a lot of time with their Facebook support and still have the problem. First and last Lenovo product for me. I will NEVER buy another Lenovo product again. Shoddy hardware.

Desired outcome: Free repair would be nice but since it's out of warranty I don't think that will happen.

Lenovo Lenovo ideapad 5-15IIL05 Laptop - Type 81YK (Serial number PF1A5YPC)

Lenovo has issues with the hinge on their 2-in-1 product lines. The hinge bezel on my ideapad 5 broke and I can no longer close my laptop out of fear of damaging the screen & rendering my laptop obsolete. I never take my laptop out of the house & have never dropped it once during this past year or so of use, and a quick Google search confirms that this is an issue that many customers face despite minimal usage on the laptops. It isn't even worth repairing out of pocket because literally all their replacement parts suffer from the same issue since this is a product flaw, and the same exact problem will resurface later down the line.

Even when you have an active warranty, customer service will deny repairs, citing external damage due to customer misuse. If your product is so fragile that it can't even handle daily opening/closing of the laptop, do a better job & stop using cheap plastic or faulty hinges instead of blaming the customers. Lenovo recognizes that this is a very common problem but refuses to admit that this is the fault of a subpar product, insisting that this is due to customer mishandling of the device and not an internal hardware problem. There is currently an on-going investigation of the issue by Cafferty Clobes Meriwether & Sprengel LLP for this same exact issue.

Desired outcome: Fix the damn laptops free of charge for customers struggling with faulty product on Lenovo's part & stop blaming customers for "external damage" when there's literally none.

Lenovo Fraud at offlicial lenevo store: Lenovo Exclusive Store - SCS Gurgaon, India

Dear Lenovo,

Subject: Warranty scams by Lenevo

I purchased my laptop with serial number: LR0F579G from Lenovo Exclusive Store - SCS Gurgaon, India (Ambiance mall).

The Lenevo salesman told me the laptop has an international warranty for 1st year in all the locations including Singapore and Hong Kong. However, when I needed warranty service from premium care in Singapore (CASE ID: [protected] CRM:[protected]) it was rejected and the service center told me that my warranty is only valid in India and Germany.

What a scam you guys are doing to sell your laptops, why on earth would I need a german warranty as an international warranty if I never went there. i also paid extra money for a warranty at your official store in India. A COmplete scam is your company.

I would never purchase "made in china" products because of this. There is always warranty fraud.

Lenovo Laptop

I own a laptop from Lenovo Y5070 and after using it for a while.. the device became very slow, knowing that it did not complete 3 years, which made the experience of buying a device from Lenovo very bad, knowing that I tried all ways to make the device faster than a professional cleaning process and download an original copy of Windows and Other things.. but the problem still exists.. and it remains only to communicate with you to help me solve this problem, and in the event of failure to solve it, I will not buy any device from Lenovo again, and I will not recommend it to any friend and I will publish This bad experience on social networking sites because I am very upset... I work as an architect and I mainly need the laptop for my work... Please solve the problem... Attached is a picture of the device's serial number

Lenovo Thinkbook 15

Case number [protected] (current active case, but there are 3 or 4 other case numbers attached to this computer, also)

I have owned this computer since April 2021. It began having problems in October. After being given the runaround for 2 weeks on getting it fixed, I finally sent it in to the company to have it fixed. At the time, I was told it needed a new touchpad (which had quit working) and new hard drive (because it wasn't charging and it would randomly shut itself off, if it even came on at all).
I received the computer back mid-December. When I received it, I read the work order and saw that it did not have a new hard drive installed. As soon as I started using it there were immediately problems. The computer is still shutting itself off randomly. Sometimes it won't boot up at all. Sometimes it stays on for a minute or two. Sometimes I get an hour or so before it shuts itself off.
I contacted the support center and spent a couple of hours with a service technician downloading and installing drivers and other updates. None of these have fixed the issue. Now, I'm told that I have to send it in again and will be without my computer for possibly another 2-3 weeks. If they don't really get the issue fixed this time they MAY decide to just send me a new computer.
Seriously? I have been without my computer, which I need to run my online business, for 3 of the 9 months that I have owned and will be without it again for almost another month?
I spent a small fortune buying this computer and have not been able to use it for a good portion of the time that I have owned it through no fault of my own. It very much seems that Lenovo is simply putting me off until my extended warranty runs out so they don't have to replace their junk computer.
This is a faulty product. I want it replaced with a computer that actually works. If this company does not have a brand new replacement for this computer then I want a full refund.

Lenovo Ideapad 3 — unethical behavior

Computer not updating Windows Cumulative updated after owning for year (which is why I purchased Premium Care) — also can't use FastStart or the computer automatically restarts after turning off. Had same update issue after one year with my previous Lenovo. After several calls to Premium Care, Premium Case wanted to change out motherboard in my home, but due to Covid surge, I cancelled appt.
Gave one more try & called Premium Care on 12/18/21 — spoke with Swapnil Thakare — he remoted accessed computer & tried several things that had not been tried before. Wanted to run a scan which would take some time & asked to call him back in an hour. Rather than connect with someone else & start all over again, I asked him to call me & he agreed. After the scan completed (about 45 mins), I noticed Swapnil working on the computer & figured he would call soon. The next time I looked at the computer, he had disconnected the remote access, but I did not receive a call. Tried multiple times to call Premium Care, but when the recording said it would transfer me to an agent, nothing happened. Later that day, I opened a chat with Ron (or Rod), who said they were having phone issues & that Swapnil had tried to call me 5 times (my phone was not busy — perhaps he could have e-mailed me). I said I would call Premium Care the next day.
On 12/19 at 3:44 pm (MT) I spoke with Chris at Premium Care. He emailed or somehow contacted Swapnil — said Swapnil will call on 12/20 & asked what time was convenient. I initially said 10 am but changed it to 9am so I would hopefully be Swapnil's first call of the day since that is when he started his day.
Waited until 10:55 on 12/20 & finally called Premium Care — rep said Swapnil would call with an hour. Swapnil did call back 5 minutes later at 11am. He remote accessed computer & again tried various things while on the phone with me. I said to him that with all these issues (and the fact the same thing happened with my first Lenovo), I felt a replacement was in order. He told me he was surprised I didn't ask for that sooner — I mentioned I had requested a replacement but none would be given. At that point, Swapnil put me on hold so he could speak with his supervisor about a replacement. He later typed via remote access that his supervisor was also remote accessing & would try to help fix the computer. I let them work on the computer & remained on the phone — at 12:08 pm I noticed the remote access had been disconnected & while the phone line appeared to be open (but on hold), no one responded when I asked several times if he was still on the phone line. I immediately called Premium Care back to try to get connected to Swapnil, but rep said supervisor said 'No' to replacement I should be transferred to Microsoft support.
Is this what I paid for Premium Care — to be disconnected without any explanation? If the disconnection was a mistake, I should have been the courtesy of a follow-up phone call. This customer service was appalling & if this is the best Premium Care Lenovo has to offer, it has a lot to be desired.

Lenovo Warranty Service

Bought premier warranty for a Lenovo laptop computer, which would provide in-home service. One of the two hinges attaching base to screen broke in the warranty period, so I contacted the warranty number. Provided info and was referred to the premier warranty section.

Talked with the rep, described the problem, and sent photos with his help. Service Tech rcvd "necessary" parts and scheduled appt. He disassembled the computer, only to open the box to learn they had not sent a new hinge. He called Lenovo and specifically described what was missing (hinge and screws).

Second service call, the tech again disassembled the computer, then opened the package to learn that Lenovo had sent a hinge, but no screws. Also, tech's disassembly affected the camera, and it no longer adhered.
Called Lenovo and requested parts. Now, they required that the computer be sent to them to repair, overriding terms of premier warranty. He and I both requested to speak with a manager, as Lenovo was complicating the matter. I followed up later and repeated the request.

One week later, the manager called and repeated the rep's demand. But during the interim I learned both the camera and the microphone were nor working. My position is that their failure to send the correct parts, AND their subcontractor's disassembly were their fault, and they should not inconvenience me for their errors.

Result? She will write a work order to send me the screws. BTW, I had to argue for some time that I could not tell her what size the screws should be. They built the computer, they should know.

Desired outcome: Repair the laptop entirely, or send me a new one.

We are a Lenovo PRO Elite Partner, we provide Lenovo Products to our business customers with an annual spending of €50,000 - €100,000 with Lenovo.

Recently, we have experienced one of the worst dealings with Lenovo UK/Ireland. Our new Account manager is not reachable, will not return phone calls. The Customer support team by Digital River is extremely unhelpful Logistic wise is a night mark. We have not received any orders placed in October to November 2021 forcing us to choose a different supplier as we cannot receive the orders, and cannot get a refund.

We have chased up with customer services or sales for at least 20 phone calls and get us nowhere. We are ready to take legal proceedings against Lenovo if the matter not resolves ASAP as to either send out a replacement order or give us a refund for the above orders!

Lenovo NEW computer not working properly after repair

I bought a Lenovo 2 weeks after my purchase the computer stopped working, I sent it to the repair shop it took them 2 weeks to fix and when I got the computer back it has this wired clicking noise, when I contacted customer service they where very unhelpful they told me to send it to the same repair shop and to wait another 2 weeks this is such a problem to have for a new laptop since I work online and I am a grad student . The customer service where very unhelpful and they couldn't understand how a total of 1 month for repair is not acceptable for a new computer, this is the worse purchase I have madeand I don't recommend any one by this brand

I purchased the frame directly from Lenovo. The user guide had inadequate information on using the product with iPhone so I phoned Lenovo. Not only does their system not offer support for the smart frame at all, but when I called for the third time and spoke with someone in Sales & Chat, the rep told that the company does not make a smart frame! I was shocked, and after I offered the product and serial numbers I asked for info on importing photos from iOS devices. She said that I should not expect to be able to do this, given that this smart frame runs on Android, which she had just read on a web page.

At this point I had to hang up.

How can a multi-national company like Lenovo afford what I just described?

Lenovo Lenovo repair services and communicating with lenovo

Sent a laptop to Lenovo for repair. It took almost three months to get it back. Got it back and discovered repair was not done. Looked up repair status online and discovered repair was "Cancelled." This was after three months without the machine. Spent 3.5 hours trying to call Lenovo Customer Service to discuss. Called 4 numbers over course of 2.5 hours, called a total ore more than 13 times. Each time one of two things happen. Get put in queue, then after 10-15 minutes music stops and don't hear anything on other end. After 5-15 have not choice but to abort call. Second thing that happens is somebody actually answers (this happened 5 times) but am told that I am talking to the wrong department, even though call attendant choices are extremely limited. Tried to hunt down other numbers to call, but only published number us [protected]. At this time I have a broken machine, under warranty, that I can do anything with. Tried to get number for Lenovo corporate. Their number also listed as [protected]. This is Customer Support Hell.

Lenovo Replacement of y cap on keypad

I purchased a new Ideapad S145 in March this year from Computer Mania Hermanus Western Cape South Africa.

The Y cap flipped off and they all say that I must carry in the computer because the entire key board must be replaced. This is crazy as the 3 component replacement set cost a few dollars. They say I MUST have damaged the key and the warranty is therefore not valid.
It's a great Laptop but the key cap is not. The good name of Lenovo is being damaged!
Kindly advise urgently.

Lenovo Desktop

I placed an order for a desktop 13 weeks ago. My credit card was charged in March and I received a notification that it will be shipped on April 29. I called customer service and launched an investigation. Nobody was able to find an order so far. I was even offered a comparable replacement. An alternative product they offer is not aligned with my job.

Lenovo Warranty extension of my laptop

I bought laptop(Legion) on 25-Dec-2019 and that time an offer going on (if you bought any laptop you get an extra +2yr extented warranty @Rs.999)whose price without offer is approx Rs.10, 000.Due to this offer I bought Lenovo Legion but to get this offer there is an condition that is you have to extend your warrant within 7day of purchase. But when we go for extension of warranty through online on 5th day of purchase I am totally shocked when I see that my warranty has about to expire within 106 days and showing that warranty start date 20/04/2019 and End on 19/04/2020 so I contact lenovo customer support and he said to drop a mail on [protected]@lenovo.com, So i drop a mail a mail to update the purchase date with my bill. but on next day (6th Day from puchase) when I go for to extend my warranty I found my purchase date are not update so I again contact to customercare executive and they said "you should have to wait 7days to process and this time told me to drop a mail on [protected]@lenovo.com, so i do the same i drop mail, they update my purchase date but on (8th days from purchase).

So due to poor service and lack of support to your customer from lenovo, I didn't have to claim my offer.

I contact many depatment of lenovo to extent my laptop warranty @999 offer they always refer one-another within her department to contact and refuse to provide service because this issue not come under his service like police department.

I also drop mail on various lenevo department on regarding this warranty extension like:-

I am tired of playing email-email, live chat, whatsapp-whatsapp.I also wasted 7 month(it's JULY) in the hope of my problem will we fix.
they didn't even try to contact me and personally to explain why they didn't able to extent my warranty? and where is my fault?And now due lockdown I also not able to contact through call.

I only want to extend my warranty if you not able to extend my warranty then I want full REFUND.

Lenovo Rudeness

I called Lenovo to ask when a tech should arrive at my house. The call rep's name was Melvin. I gave him the serial number and he said the laptop was not under mine or my husband's name, which shouldn't be the case as my husband called Lenovo in the first place and was treated nicely. The guy asked if we had a ticket number and I said no, my husband wasn't given one. This rep interrupted me MULTIPLE times, even after I asked him twice not to interrupt me. He pretty much yelled at me there that there is nothing he could do.
I called back to a different department and they were able to help me out. The very thing Melvin did NOT do.

Lenovo machine type:20 qt serial #: r90w1rtn

I would like to share my feedback on my recent purchase Lenovo P1 Gen2 Laptop, which they say is their top line Laptop. I'm really disappointed with the services. It's been 3 months since I bought the laptop and I haven't been able to use it because of its hardware issues. I have been in touch with the support team back n forth, but they are not serious about the issue. It has affected my business and time.
I had to send them my laptop, and now it's been 4 weeks again but they have no idea about my case. I have to call the support team almost every day to find out when they will be sending my laptop back, no- one gives me fair reply

VERY DISAPPOINTING
