We just opened the box and took off all the wrapping. It looks likes the strapping that was around it was too tight and made an indent on one of the sides. There is also the wrapping still stuck in the wood. The indent is pretty big and the paint is chipping. I don't know what can you can you can to fix this but it's brand new and we'd like to see it fixed or replaced please. Thank you

We purchased our furniture at the Windsor location on division road August 24th 2018. We did not received 2 peice but were told they would be in the following Friday. It took us 2weeks of calls and messages to get a call back to see if your stuff was in. We went in to get it and were directed to a young lady at the desk to which did not acknowledge us. She finally said without looking up "got your bill" I said I have my drivers licence. She huffed and stopped talking to us and looked off into the distance. I had to ask if it was going to be okay. She continued to look us up but we needed a price match so she grabbed someone from the back who treated us like stupid idiots. She was rude and condescending and instead of being helpful she chose to be ignorant. When I asked for a new copy of my bill she she said I haven't processed it. She could have said let me do that for you? Nope, I then ask will it be ready when we pick up tomorrow ? She said "okay sure" with the most disgusting ignorance in her voice. They they stood there with ignorance and we had to ask them is everything set ? She like yup. I can't even explain how rude these 2 were and for no reason. I suggest you follow up with that store. They weren't wearing name tags but they were working Sunday Sept 16th at 1 pm. Feel free to contact us for details.

I purchased a sectional on Wednesday September 12th, was also looking to purchase a mattress. While there, sales agent told me this mattress was going on sale Thursday September 13th. I told her I would return. I could not make it there did to work, so I called. I could not get thru on phone to anybody in any department, Thursday night and Friday night, I called Saturday as well. I am very disappointed that I missed it when arrived on Saturday. I would have given credit card over phone had I known it was on for Thursday/Friday.
I feel I should have still been offered this deal. Not happy customer.

I, Althia Atkinson-Cheddesingh, daughter, am a writing letter on behalf my mother, Gertrude Heslop Henry, who is a 71 years old elderly lady. Her address is 7035 Rexwood Road, Apt 184, Mississauga, ON. Tele: [protected]
Mrs. Henry had purchase a mattress and other accessories for the mattress from the Weston Road Leon's store in 2016 that cost over $900, and also include a warrantee for 10 years.
In February 2017 Mrs. Henry filed a complaint that the bed was indented and very uncomfortable to sleep on. Your company sends a manufacturer accessor to access the bed. Mrs. Henry waited for a reply from the company despite her children continues to phone the company to find out what was the result from the manufacture. The customer service representative would tell us that they still waiting on the manufacture accessor results.
Because the bed was so uncomfortable Mrs. Henry states that the sink in bed causes her to develop severe hip joints pain. She has her family doctor reports of her injuries and she also has her physiotherapist reports of her injuries.
In 2017 we were still waiting for the manufacture result, my mother was still having sleepless nights because of the un-comfortableness of the bed.
We contact the company again and one of your customer service representative said that they have to send another manufacture accessory to access the bed again.
Another manufacturer accessory came and accesses the bed.

I, Althia and Sandra, Mrs. Henry daughters called several times to follow-up on the finding from the Manufacture. The answer that we receive is that they are still waiting on their findings and their going to send a remainder to the Manufacture.
Sometime in January 2018, my sister Sandra receive a voice message on home #[protected], that the finding came back from manufacture and Mrs. Henry to get an exchange of the mattress. My mother was on vacation so my sister return the call by tell the customer representative that as soon as my mother return in the country she will visit the store in order for the matrass to exchange.
In March 2018, I, my brother and Mrs. Henry visit the Weston Road Leon's Furniture Store, when we reach there, we spoke to one the customer service representative and she told us that the manufacture had granted the exchange of the mattress then manufacture resend another noted later that they can't do an exchange now and the bed had to be more indented. They did not communicate this change of decision with us not to change the mattress. So we went the store expected to get the exchange done but we were surprise of hearing that they are not going exchanging the mattress anymore. This information shook my mother more.
That day we spoke to Manager of the company because we were misled and missed informed. She told us that she has send in another manufacture accessor to access the mattress. We told her that the result would not be accurate because my mother was away on vacation from December to March. She said she have to get the manufacture to send another accessor to access the mattress again. We were very concern of what the effect this mattress going to continue to cause more injuries to my mother. We express our concern to the Manager.
Late March of this year, the Manufacture accessor came and accesses the mattress. Up until this day no one from the furniture store call tell my mother of the finding from the manufacture. The family did not want to go through the same back and fore calling, and waiting. The un-comfortableness of the mattress, my mother now developed additional complication that is worn and torn of her knees joints. Mrs. Henry again has report from her family doctor of her injuries and physiotherapist report of her injuries and maintaining her pain medication.
This worried my mother more, can't believe that she going to be having more sleepless night on a bed that she not too long purchase.
My mother is very unhappy with the mattress and very sad of how your company have treated her dishonestly. She did not buy this mattress from the Manufacture and your company has misled an elderly lady. My mother would like a refund of her money or an urgent exchange of the mattress.
Her families are waiting anxiously for your reply. I want this letter to reach the owner of the company ASP.

bedroom set exchange
i had purchased one bedroom set, i was send a product that was damaged twice. i had spoken to the manager who promised me that she will do an exchange for me, i received the dining set in boxes i was promised that they will assemble it for me which they are refusing to do. i don't need this product worst customer service the supervisor named naiba is very rude she hang up on me. this is the Danforth location never purchase anything from there.

We purchased a bed online Sept 3/18, got the confirmation email which had a contact number and email included for customers. Called the number on MULTIPLE occasions and left voicemail to discuss delivery date - never ANY call back in 10 days. Emails to the contact - no replies in 10 days. Sept 12/18 day of delivery. Call received that delivery would be 3-6pm. No delivery until 7pm! I called the Leon's store supervisor in Calgary and he was dismissive and had no way to rectify the situation. No idea who speak with to address the problem. Told me the office closed at 5pm. Yet the automated voicemail that I have listened too numberous times said they were open until 9pm.
Terrible customer services.
Delivery truck drivers were also new, and told me they were short staffed so they were late. This is NOT my problem and maybe you wouldn't schedule a 3 hour delivery window if that's not even possible to manage. Unprofessional delivery. Also, they drop the package in my living room (which was a long size bed), and now it will have to stay there until I can have someone help open and carry it up to my bedroom. They need more training and courtesy.
furniture delivered is damaged
I bought a floor model of a dresser and bed from your Brampton showroom. When I received it it was damaged in several places. When I complained to the store they told me that it is damaged because it's a floor model. They sent a guy for repair. The repair guy just concealed the damaged parts with a marker and said that nothing more could be done about it. I called the store several times but in vain. Then I went there and spoke to the manager Mr. Roland, he asked me to send pictures, which I did. He didn't call back, which by now I know is the norm at Leons. When I called him today he told me he was on leave, on asking about the email he said he read it and he would send someone to investigate- no date was given so I think this is also a hoax. When I asked him would he take back the furniture if leons cant repair it...his answer shocked me as he said that he would have if I didn't allow the repair guy to repair it. I am shocked at Leons' cheap policy and I regret purchasing stuff from there.
refrigerator
I bought a fridge in May of this year it was delivered MISSING A DOOR SEAL. We did not realize this was the problem at first as it is a door in door fridge so we where not sure what the exterior door was like. The technician didn't even realize the seal was missing on the first service call.
It's is now SEPTEMBER and I still have a broken fridge. I have spoken to LG the manufacturer of the fridge and they have only given me the run around and said they had parts then given me dates the parts were expected and they didn't arrive and they didn't even call to follow up. I called Leon's and left my number with the assistant store manager twice and once with the Manager and have not had a call back from either of them. This is after going through the customer service department with no results.
delay in the delivery of order # 09018cabyrd and 09018cacffs
This is to convey my concerns about the delay in the delivery of bedroom set, two sofa sets and dinning set against the order # 09018CABYRD today. The delivery was originally scheduled for today (8th September, 2018) at the date of purchase on 1st September as we made many plans based on this delivery date.
We received a call from Leon's on cell phone ([protected]) this morning confirming the delivery in between 3 - 6 pm today. We went to the delivery address before 3 pm today and waited until 6:15 pm but there was no delivery or any update from Leon. Please note that the delivery address is a newly built home and we were just sitting and waiting on the floor for more than 3 hours.
After 6:15 pm, I called Leon's store in Calgary and at that time I was told that the delivery wouldn't be made today as there were some issues with the delivery truck. I was then told that the earliest delivery now could be made on Wednesday, 12th September and it wasn't acceptable for us as we have informed Leon that we would need this furniture before 12th September is any case otherwise we would not purchase it.
The lady from Leon's I was talking to on phone was extremely rude and she wasn't listening to my concerns or complaints and rather trying to justify this delay. I finally made her transferring my call to the manager, Hue, after 5 - 10 minutes trying to explain my situation to her.
The manager also wasn't listen to me and didn't have any answer to my question that why I wasn't informed by Leon's truck driver or anyone from store if the delivery wasn't being made today! Why I was informed when I called Leon's myself!
After arguing with manager for 10 - 15 minutes he committed to call me next day to see that whatever they could do...
This has been a frustrating situation for me and my family and I need compensation from Leon's on this. I hope to receive a call from Leon's senior management on this issue on my cell @ [protected].
credit not received yet after 8 weeks
I cannot believe the circus at the McLaughlin Rd. Brampton store. The salesmen TONY is liar. Customer Service does not exists. Cassandra is rude & Sonia the manager promises to follow up and she never does. I was given 3 different delivery dates and on each of these days I received no delivery or phone call. I have had to take time off of my job to be home for these delivers that did not occur. When I finally received the 2 chairs I ordered the piping on the chair was not flush with the fabric. I was not happy with this and I requested a new chair. Customer service tried to tell me that the chair would be repaired. I had to fight to get a new chair sent out. I tried to explain to them that I did not purchase a $700. chair to have it repaired. When I finally got my chairs I was told that I would be receiving a $150 credit within 7-10 business days. Its been 8 weeks, 2 invoices and no credit. I called again today and spoke to the rude Cassandra. They can't provide me with a explanation as to why, so now I wait for SONIA to call me back. I have heard that before & nobody returns phone calls. I would never recommend LEON's to anyone and I will never purchase anything from LEON's again! Worst store, worst service in Brampton!
5 piece bedroom set
So a while ago we had made a complaint that little pieces of our dresser were breaking off. Someone had came in to help but now little pieces are breaking off of the side tables, bed headboard/footboard and the dresser as well. So what we would like is for someone to come in and properly do the finishing of all the pieces so no more pieces can break off, or someone to do something so this won't happen again. Our order number is 12126WPFJRB. Please help with this as soon as possible because it looks bad.

Bought a sofa in May 30, 2018. In August 30 2018 The sale sofa was on for $200.00 less. I went to the store and they said I would have my refund in 1 or 2 days. By the time I got home I had a message saying it did not qualify because it was over 60 days. I accept that but I should not have been told I will get a refund and later told, oops I made a boo boo. When stores put the wrong price on groceries they honor that price. I feel they should have honored the refund and not phoned me to say sorry. I talked to a customer service rep named Susan at the Welland store.
6-piece reclining sectional
I bought a 6-Piece Reclining Sectional and paid for the warranty and for Fabric Protect Sectional.
The technician one Webster from In Home Service was scheduled for the work and he came on time. However, his work was NOT good at all. He did not spray the sectional properly and did not even spray the whole part of both the reclining seats. He missed the side and upon request he advised that all that we do. He was rude and NO customer service at all.
I will like to have a technician revisit and redo the spray. I paid for it and was robbed. May I kindly request the customer service to follow up with me. This my reference below

electric reclining sofa
I purchased a living room sofa set that includes a sofa, loveseat and chair that are all electric recliners in August 2017. I also purchased the extended warranty (platinum complete package 299 dollars) with it. In the first week of June 2018 one of the recliners in the loveseat stopped working. I called the warranty company and was told they would call the store because the furniture was still so new. So the warranty company (Zucora) called the store ( Brampton location) on McLaughlin Rd North and they called us to advise us that a technician would call us in 72 hours to set up an appointment. The technician said the motor and switch were gone on it so he would check with Leon's to see if they had any in stock. He called back and said they had to put an order in for the parts. Several weeks went by and we called back to find out what was happening. I talked to a lady named Cassandra on July 27 and she said they got the parts in and a technician would come out that week to fix it. When the tech came in he noticed the motor was not the correct one needed. So he went back to the store to check and said they don't have the right one in stock and they would have to order one again. On August 16 we called back and talked to Jada in customer service and she said to speak to the customer service manager. So we called the manager back the next day, her name is Naz. I explained the situation and our frustration. I told her for 2 and a half months I've had to tell my kids to be careful around the seat because its sticking out. I had numerous occasions where I was not able to use the loveseat while hosting family events. She simply told us there was nothing she could do we just simply had to wait. Nobody else could help me she said and that it could take up to another 4 months to get the parts. We have been long time customers of Leon's and never have we had such poor customer service. It's already been 3 months without a function loveseat and we still don't know when it will be fixed. This is getting ridiculous, it's only a year old and haven't been able to use it for a quarter of that time. They should have offered to get us a new loveseat or to compensate us for every month that we've been waiting. I truly hope someone can help us in this situation. If nobody can help me then what was the point in spending 300 dollars for a warranty! Please resolve this issue. I should not be paying for a couch I cannot use. Thanks

I am extremely dissapointed. I ordered a fava chaise lounge and selected deliver for Tuesday Sept 11. This evening I received a phone call from the niagara on the lake location saying they do not deliver to my address except for wednesday and friday. I am only off work on Tuesdays, why was I able to select a delivery date that couldn't be delivered on? I'm not going to take a day off work to sit around for a couch to be delivered and I do not have a vehicle capable of picking up this item. I'm sure they deliver in St. Catharines every day.. I'm 10 minutes further from St. Catharines. I asked to speak to the manager, he says his name was Nick. He was so rude and ignorant to me. He could not care less about this situation. Saying it was the web departments fault. Offered me no solution. I said rather than make an exception Leon's would rather lose a sale and myself as a customer. This is not my first time ordering from Leon's.. but it will certainly be my last if this isn't corrected. I don't believe I was even speaking to a manager because there is no way someone in that position would talk to me like that. Zero customer service skills. I will be sure to tell everyone how disgusting this situation has been. He ended up telling me he would just cancel my order. I asked for some sort of proof this was cancelled and he said there wasn't one. That I should be a refund in a week? Also when I asked for a head office number he told me there wasn't one of those either.. but that they deal with store complaints themselves. Absolutely ridiculous.
barcelona recylining sofa
My fiancé and I purchased the Barcelona sofa in December of 2017. Extended warranty also was purchased.
Due to it being on backorder and the holidays, we didn't actually get the sofa until the end of January 2018. Within 3 months (April 2018) the spring broke on the right facing side. When we called they were able to schedule a pick up date very quickly, however, it took them 2+ weeks to actually fix it and return it to us after me calling SEVERAL times. Then the day it was being delivered the delivery men gave our couch to another customer and had to go back to retrieve it!
Now, 4 months later (August 2018) the same flipping spring on the EXACT same side is broken again!
I feel like a sofa should be able to hold the weight of a fully grown man, however, this couch has surely failed that test. I would assume that Leon's would make a sofa worth $1000 a bit more durable than the piece of crap we got! We've owned the couch for 7 MONTHS and I'll be calling this week to have it repaired, yet again!
I will NEVER purchase furniture from Leon's ever again.
couch set taking 3 months to be fixed
I have purchased a couch set from Leon's in Barrie, have allready had the chair replaced as there are a bad rock in the frame, I have told them about a rip in the love seat that has been there since delivered and have had to call over 12 times with 4 techs coming and only taking pictures... They say there is a part being ordered, how has it not come in yet in the time I have provided, the manager Dan has not been helping just giving me a run around, when I ask to speak to someone different as I don't like his answers or tone he says there is nobody elts and that it will just get "thrown back into his lap", I have just purchased a house and was looking to have it furnished as we're acouple people that I know ... We will not be back to the store not only because of the time line this has been going on for but from how the staff has been dealing with me and my order making me feel you do not care at all, I am expecting a call [protected] I would like to Rectify this problem before it takes any longer

Found a chair I was interested in on the Leon's website for $299.00
I go to the store and the chair is marked as $329.00.
I told the salesman the online price and asked if it were available in other colours.
He checks the website and said no it's listed for $329.00 and it only comes in one colour.
I order the chair and also purchase a picture.
I asked if they could put something on the picture as I had to set it on the ground before placing it in the back of my car. The sales clerk ringing up my order said no they didn't have anything for the picture. I explained I could not take it out as is. Another gentleman behind the counter said he'd get one of the warehouse people to wrap the picture.
I go home and check the website and the chair is listed for $29.00 and available in two colours.
I call the store and the Leon's clerk said he would call me back in five minutes after speaking with the manager.
That was yesterday and still no calls from Leon's
Needless to say I will never go back to that store.
Do not shop at Leon's in Ottawa West.

I purchased a corner curio cabinet and also paid for delivery. On the day of delivery I received a call from driver that my cabinet would be delivered within the hour. 45 Min's later I was contacted by Store that there was a problem and something happened to the cabinet and they were taking it back to store and I would be contacted later that night or in the morning
I waited until 3pm the next day and received no call so went into store
At customer service I was advised it hadn't been looked at. A woman told me to have a seat. She came back and sent another woman over to speak with me. I was told it was beyond repair and my $ would be refunded as there were no more in stock
There would be no compensation!
My problem with this is I entered a contract with you to purchase and have delivered an item. You did not Honor this contract. You had my $ for 5 days for your use. It is not my fault you have no more of that cabinet.
The customer service woman would do nothing for me.

We usually shop from Leon's but recently the purchase from Leon's Trenton was not a good experience.
We bought Bedroom set with chest of drawer, one night table and a dressing table with mirror. We also bought a dining table. Totally we spent more than 4K.
The dining table they delivered which they assembled but one of the chair was defective. We had to go back and get the technician to fix it before we spent hours in assembling the chair. The alignment of the holes for completely off for the one chair.
We have been going back and forth to Leon's first for the chair. The technician left early so he did not work on the chair. We had to wait for it.
They were supposed to deliver the dressing table however while delivery it got damaged, which I din't know how. I cannot blame the delivery people since I don't know the root cause of the damage. However we were very disappointed that it had to be taken back leaving the mirror behind.
We don't know when the dressing table will be delivered.
We already agreed that the bed frame will be delivered later on September which we are ok with.
But now we have a mirror lying in the room without a dressing table.
This is really causing us a lot of inconvenience. As per the return policy I can return all the furniture's back but I really do not want to go through that route.
Please advise how you would like to address this inconvenience, hassle and stress that it has caused.
