faulty calculator
I purchased a calculator from a couple who said it worked fine if you put a new battery into it. I did that and it did not work. I contacted them and asked for a refund and they assured me I would be able to get one. I contacted them 4 times about a refund and each time made an excuse on why they couldn't pay it yet and kept assuring me they would get back to me when they had the money. They have not gotten back to me.

Hello I am having an issue with the letgo app and I have read online that this is kind of a common thing for people but nowhere does it have a way to resolve it. I have emailed asking why this is happened no one confronted me about anyting or thought to look into it. On my birthday February 13th I was suspended indefinitely from letgo. And they will not tell me why they just ignored or send me a copy of reasons why it might have been deleted. But I did not have any weapons posted I was not arguing or fighting with anyone I had over 90 five star reviews in the last year-and-a-half nothing that was posted was racist or offencive. And I have asked repeatedly the reason why and they will not reply even when i called I asked to speak to a supervisor and I didn't get one. And I'm honestly just flabbergasted at this point that's a lot of work down the drain to take the pictures post everything with the details and titles and descriptions prices and such for nothing.. Steven says if you think that this has been flagged as a mistake contact us here and I did that and they did not reply but I got to questionnaires about what I think of her customer service a week later.. and the only notice I am getting is it is suspended for review which implies it's pending not indefinite but a lady named Stephanie wrote me saying it was not going to be reactivated again again she didn't even say why she just said sorry for the inconvenience. Yet I'm still getting notifications. Something I was looking at has been sold or I have messages waiting for replies? . How do I get them to speak to me about it and possibly resolve the issue if there even is one ?

I bought a 43 inch tv from Danielle for 80$ On 2/10/19, we met up at an aldi in Patchogue NY and we tested the tv in my car to make sure that the tv wasn't working. Turned it on and it was acting a little funny so Danielle agreed to letting me take the tv home and see if it's still acting like that at home. If it was still acting up she would take the tv back and return my money, we went home to test it and it was even wrose (I have a video to prove it) I contacted Danielle through letgo and I wrote to her for 2 days and never got an answer from her. Eventually she wrote back stating that a lot was going on and that she didn't have a phone so she was using her phone. I told her I understand let's meet up yesterday which was 2/13/19 at 7pm at the same location. She agreed to meeting up and I waited for an hour in a half. I contacted her and advised her that I will be reporting her for false advertisement. She then blocked me off of letgo, I would like someone to return my money if it's her or someone from letgo
playstation vr sale
I sold Timothy Thibault a PlayStation VR Headset yesterday for $230. We agreed on a cheaper price if he could show up early but he showed up 20 minutes late. He only brought $230 and I still agreed. I showed him everything was there and it worked, I even showed him how to set it up. He was nice so I left a good review. He later left a review that states I was not trustworthy, the item was not as advertised, not all components work and the item was overpriced. He paid $230 for a couple month old VR headset that is 300 new. This is rediculous and I even offered to help him fix it and set it up right but he said "get over it your reviews done" and blocked me. I don't want to have this bad rep for something I didn't do.

I contacted Salman of my concern he stated, "I never heard the noise before something happen to it during transition". I told I had it checked out, and was told it is the motor". He didn't agree. "I believe you knew it before you sold it to me, I trusted you". He informed me that it is my problem. He blocked me.

I was contacted by a man calling him self Thomas. We agreed on a price of$100 for the painting and $68.00 for the movers. I was to deposit a cashier's check in to my account for the amount of $168.00. after the check cleared I was to contact Thomas with in 2 days. I got extremely busy at work and forgot. For 3 4 days he texted me I needed to deposit the check. Then I started to get suspecous and called the Georgia credit union .they siad the check number did exist. Then I went to a major bank in town and it would not scan. Finally I went to the police and they siad it was fake. I filled out a report with Reno police department then I filled out a report for the post office. When the check came it was for the amount of 1680 not $168.00. I have all the texts and there are quite a few. I have the two numbers they used to text and the the mail receat and envelope.

There is a seller named gustavo ortega who is pushing a scam. At the time the seller listed his/her location at lakewood township, nj. I made an offer and arranged to pick up up the item and the person never showed up, despite letting him/her know that I was driving from 45m and I was on my way. When I arrived I message the seller to let him/her know that I was at the address that he/she gave me, but I got no response. Now I am seeing the same seller selling the same item from atlantic city, nj.

I posted for sale an office desk and a office chair for $275. This person named Dee S agreed to purchase. Is sending a bank check but the amount is for $2, 250 and he wants me to pay the mover picking it up. I feel this is a scam and want to know how to report him. I also need to put this back up for sale. I did reach out to him via text, and now see that I shouldn't have, however, he did send the check and it is sitting at the post office. How should I proceed?
This is definitely a scam. The money that's being sent to you is fraudulent and you receiving it will mean you're liable for the fraudulent money. They're trying to get you to send them your own money since it will take several days for the bank to verify the check. The check will bounce and by then they will already have your money. Only ever receive money in person.

I messaged user "Buck Juugin" about his Nintendo Switch for sale. He only posted it for $200, which I thought was a little cheap for the whole console with everything included and also a Super Smash Bros game! So I messaged him to see if there were scratches or problems because his two pictures were dark and only showed the console and the game included. My first message just said "I'm interested." He then replied with a short response saying "ok im shipping." At that point I was a little alarmed and quickly replied, "no". User Buck Juugin then seemed agitated and we messaged back and forth from there. He then said he was going to report me and blocked me.

I had set up a deal with a woman named "Shawntell Truss" and after I got home and continued to try to get the item I bought to work, I realized that she had sold me a financed, unusable item. I went to question her to figure out if she knew the item was in that state but upon sending her a message she had messaged me saying that I paid her with counterfeit money. I offered to take it back and she could have her faulty item back but she continued sending rude vulgar messages to me like I had not replied at all. She then threatened me and posted a bunch of pictures of my letgo profile on letgo saying that I paid with fake cash . I know the cash I gave her was real since I got it out of the atm from the same gas station we met at directly before she arrived. I would like for her to be banned for unnecessary acts and threats she's done. But if that can't happen I would at least like for her posts of me to be removed. Much appreciated

Phone number [protected], Name of Matthew. This is a scam! We paid $300 down on an 1989 Itasica Motorhome. We looked at it, paid $300 down, with balance to be paid by 12/25/2018. We contacted "Matthew" the following Tuesday. "Matthew" ran us all over, with multiple excuses of why he was not showing up. We have since contacted the police, with the license number of the vehicle he was driving (WI plate ADY1875)...still waiting for response from police or "Matthew". We would like either the motorhome or the $300 back.

I recently posted some speakers (end of November/ beginning of December) to sell on Letgo. I was contacted by an interested buyer, we agreed on a price of $500 and he wanted to send me the $ via a check in the mail. So I gave him my address and when I got the check, which arrived yesterday 12/19/18, he had sent me $3, 500 and wanted me to use the overpayment of $3000 to pay someone who was coming to pick up the speakers. This seemed suspicious so I asked him to verify details and he wouldn't give them to me. I went to the Letgo app to report this scam but his profile has disappeared. The Phone# he was using was [protected] and [protected]. The signature on the cashier's check appears to be Mark N Stan and printed on the check states, "Remitter: Sonia Brown". The check is from (as printed) Florida Credit Union PO Box 5548 in Gainesville FL, [protected]. Check # 5103533, dated 12/14/18, with routing number on the bottom of the check: [protected] - [protected] . The address on the envelope is "FROM: Air & Water, Inc. 6600 Katella Ave. Cypress, CA 90630" (see photo attached).
I have let him know that I will be destroying the check and canceling the deal. He has my phone number and address and I feel very concerned. PLEASE LOOK INTO THIS ACTIVITY so this person doesn't continue to scam others! Resolution: please let me know when you've identified the scammer so that I can try and watch out for any continued efforts on the scammer's part. Thank you!

Payment confirmation to Letgo verified with ebay Financial Department stating invoice for vehicle emailed transaction ID VPP-[protected] for 2007 Nissan Murano SE September 17, 2018 Decision to purchase vehicle September 18, 2018 2:45 PM MST. Monies sent September 18, 2018, Verification of funds negotiated September 19, 2019. Guaranteed there would be no additional charges upon receipt and inspection of vehicle if vehicle did not stand up to stated standards vehicle could be returned at sellers costs, no additional costs September 19, 2019 notified the ebay motors was requiring a shipping insurance cost of an additional refundable upfront charge prior to shipping vehicle from Omaha, Nebraska for road hazard insurance. I discussed this with Roberta Priest via gmail and ebay motors that ths additional cost would not be acceptable. I could not possibly come up with the additional monies and reminded both ebay and Roberta Priest of the gmail discussions and reference to invoice emailed no additional out of pocket costs to purchaser. ebay suggested seller might be able to negotiate additional costs, Roberta Priest stated she could come up with $500.00 of the additional costs of $1000.00 demanded for vehicle SUV shipment. I stated I would not pay any additional costs September 19, 2018 and September 20, 2018 demand a full refund of the $1000.00. I have phoned ebay customer service several times. ebay stated the cards were negotiated they could not refund the funds are at Letgo. Thus, I am requesting a full refund of the card numbers I will provide, once you look into your transactions and will provide additional information upon request.

Yall need to do a better job at monitoring the posts that are posted because if you look at the postings in the job service department every post that is in the jobs as someone offering a service which is messing people up who are offering service and people who are actually doing work to try and find a job so how about fix the problem and start monitoring the post and realizing that they're in the wrong category and those posts should be removed because having to flag them takes a lot of time out of my day to do y'all's job
