Good people we bought couches at Malelane Bears Furnisher Shop it less than two yes now the stenches and sami leather coming out to my surprise the Item was R29 000.00 when visiting the shop for assistance I was told that I wont be assisted from shop I must call the factory where M I going to get the factory now.

I took my son to lewis stores to open an account. Sales lady Tammy was awesome but the lady that captured his info was clearly discriminating my son. Maybe cos his an introvert and didn't speak much or maybe cos he earns a very good salary for his age. The manager had a look at his bank statements and approved the application but after her looking at him like his a criminal she said the system did not give credit and his paperwork was faxed again to head office. We went to the bank twice. We spent 3 hours in the store waiting for an account which was still not approved cos then she went to the back of the store sending her colleague to call the manager then u had to see how her colleague was looking at my son that is patiently sitting and waiting for her to return. At a certain stage she even wanted payslips which he could have downloaded but why if you have bank statements. I was really disturbed to see how my son was treated not even a word from the manager his also just up and down with attitude. I so much wanted to deal with lewis but clearly they don't want our business.

Can I please get my refund
I settled my account in november however I overpaid it with r3000.00 I then called ref 702290 and requested for that account to be closed. The consultant then called me to forward the statement and the proof of payment which I did. I have been calling everyday to follow up on my refund with no vail. I was then told yesterday when I called that they did a transfer 2020/12/22 and the money will be available late on the 23rd. Mind you I have sent through everything that was required 2020/12/14. I am the one calling the consultant doesn't bother calling and giving me feedback. I spoke to Graig on 2020/12/21 and he advised that he was going to send the consultant that's dealing with my query an email as they are working from. Do I now have to wait for them to come back to the office to refund me?

Having bad record
I am lewis customer always when I want to open accounts somewhere or apply for loans they decline saying I owe lewis while im not. They did debit order into my bank account there is no way I can miss my payment and im not planning too
So I will like lewis to clear my name into their bad payer because my plans falls apart with due respect

I had two accounts at Lewis. I was told I can pay it as one installment. However, from their side the installment was split incorrectly. Now my one account is in advance and the other is behind resulting in that particular account being in arrears. This is causing a negative effect on my credit score because of Lewis. I can't go ahead a purchase my vehicle because of this. I called Multiple times requesting a letter indicating that the fault was from their side and to state that my account is paid on a monthly basis and up to date. I'm still waiting. This is causing such a delay is the purchase of my vehicle, which should not be stressful at all. Something needs to be done ASAP. I've been a loyal Lewis stores customer, this is the least you can do! Also I've seen someone else with a similar complaint which clearly indicates the fault is on your side. I know you're trying to do you best, but honestly a letter indicating my account is up to

I had to accounts with Lewis stores separate accounts so on my first payment I asked them can I make one payment into one account for both they agreed and so I was paying like that but then somewhere long the someone decided to put the whole amount onto one account Lewis only let me know months later that my account is in arrears and I need to make payment arrangements which I couldn't understand when I contacted them and explained that its there fault because I have been making payments they couldn't help and said I need to go to the store then covid happened now I'm sitting with an account that keep going further in arrears although I've made an payment arrangement long ago please can someone look into this as I am being punished for there mistake
The same thing is happening to me now. Because of this my credit score is being affected badly. What did you do? All I’m told is I have to wait for an agent to deal with the matter but it’s been over a week already .
Theft
Lewis retreat has put a gornishing order on my account that I have not authorized as I have no affiliation with them whatsoever... They proceeded to steal r1600 from my account 2 months in a row. I have filed a complaint with the ombudsman and am awaiting instructions as what to do next... I plan to sue the whole company as this is blatant theft. I never signed any type of document with lewis but u people continue to steal my hard earned money. I will never do dealings with u because u take advantage of people and suck them dry and all ur products are [censored]. Please see that I am refunded in full as j will not leave it this way.
Poor customer service
I have been sending email since lock down started trying to make payments arrangements to avoid arrears but every time I call o emails never got a response other dan being tld I wil be in errears.. Fine the lady from the shop contacted me I tld her I need a bank acc where I can deposit the money she was so confused she made me to try so many accounts of which is not a good practice she doesn't evn know how you payments methods works but at the end it's affecting me... Lewis has bad service and right now I paid in the acc your stuff she wasn't evn sure if it's right n the is no way I can follow up if my money reflected or n I can see dat you keep on saying it's over due... The poor service and rudeness of the employers
Good day, I trust that you are well? I am writing this complain with so much anger. Yesterday afternoon, my partner and I went to purchase furniture on credit, it was approved and finalised. The man that was helping us goes by the name of Zola, he promised us that our furniture was to be delivered on the very same day which was yesterday, at 17:00pm, my partner called the store to find out why the delivery was not made and the lady that answer's the calls kept on dropping the calls and there was a time that she just left the call on the table and had a long conversation with the other employers in the store. My partner called the store about ten times with no explanation as in to why the delivery had not been made. Long story short, I ended up calling in and I gave the lady that answer's the calls a piece of my mind, she immediately made means to get me to speak to Zola and to my surprise, Zola also had a cold attitude. He's excuse was that he was not in the store and that's why the delivery was not made, he promised that the drop off would be today at 10am and guess what? The furniture has not arrived, I called the store at 12:00pm, 5 March 2020 and again, my calls have been cut. My partner and I slept on the floor last night, our food that's meant to be refrigerated is off and the list goes on. Why is that we have to be chasing after them using our airtime left, right and centre to get answers? The store should be contacting us to let us know what is going on but no, we get rude talks and unapologetic behaviour. Is this how customers generally get treated at Lewis? While we were purchasing the furniture, Zola made every promise that we would get our furniture the very same day but as soon as everything is successful and we left the store, everything changed. I am not happy, I am upset and never again will we ever set foot to purchase anything at any Lewis stores.
Hi..I purchased a f riedge from Lewis barberton in cash...I was not at home when they made the delivery ...I got home few days later only to find out that this is not the fridge I bought. ...I phone the shop and the lady told me my fridge was out of stock...I saw the fridge on a catalogue the day I purchased it and the checked on their computer if they had stock and they approved it...but now I have a small fridge at home which I'm not happy about...she insist I kept it coz it's good she said...I'm not happy at all

I bought furniture at best electric in April at Ladysmith branch and this was not in good condition, took up with the store and a carpenter was sent to fix it however this was not done properly. I settled this debt not so long so to at-least get another wardrobe however I was advised that this is no longer under guarantee, my concern is how long is furniture under guarantee. Not a happy Client.

harassment and threats
Hi I have been harrassed and threatened by lewis store workers... They came to my house early hours in the morning to harras me in front of my kids and later during the day at work in front of my customers... I greatly humiliated and insulted by them more especially over our phone calls... When I told them about my rights they point blank told me that... How can u have rights when you still owing us. I am taking legal action against lewis and I won't rest until something is done... No human being deserves such treatment

Kindly please deliver the TV that I am owed (after approved claim). I do not feel it is fair for me to pay for furniture not in my possession. I'm in Pietermaritzburg and there is a branch on church Street on which I can fetch my TV. I would like to complaint about the service I received from Lewis Mookgophong. I went there on Tuesday to buy dinging chairs, they did not have stock and said they can get from Mokopane. They asked me when do I need it and I asked as soon as possible.
Today (Friday) I went there to find out where the chairs are, the person that assisted me did not even remember me and when I asked about the chairs he looked at me and first did not know what I was talking about. He then went to the back of the store, to do what I do not know. I waited 5 min and nobody came back to me, so I left the store.
It was not the first time I had a bad experiens at this Lewis store. I will never go back to Lewis store. We are cash buyers, I will rather go to a store where you get greeted in a way that you feel welcome.

I'm writing this letter concerning my account number as follows [protected].I feel I've been treated unfairly in someway by the store.I took a TV at Lewis and pay monthly installment and my TV went blank I report it as my installment was including insurance I was told TV was not covered.I stopped to pay my account cause it was useless for me to pay for something which I don't have.They came and took the tv I was told they will repair the tv I waited till today I don't have a tv.

wardrobe
The wardrobe is not in good condition the handles are not working. Cant be locked. It got openings at the back I can't even put my clothes in it as they will fall at the back. I have been complaining since day one. And I did not get help. This is not the first item I bought from lewis with deffect and they did not fix them until I even finished paying them. I am nolonger in need of the item can it be taken away as I don't see the need for me to keep on paying for such item that I am not happy with. The branch staff are very rude and care less. Now cindy from head office said it has been over three months they can't take it back and that is not true it will only be three months on the 17th of january 2020. And I have been complaining since and could not get help.

I opened account at lewis alberto and I was approved, I did the interview and I signed the contract and I payed the deposit... I waited for delivery for about a week, after a week they called saying I was clined from head office I must come and collect my deposit and I went there and forgot the slip, they said I must go take the slip in order for them to give me refund... I had to take another taxi back home... What a poor service you guys have. I wasted so much money and I fail to understand why I was asked to pay deposit and signed a contract but I don't quality...
