Light In The Box "unable" to return refund

I ordered shipments from this website in november and received all but 1 item on this site. As compensation they promised to return money back into my paypal account. Later I received a new ticket saying they are not allowed to give back my money. I am very upset as I do not want to have this happen to me again. This has been a long process and I have yet to see this credit in my rewards & credit section. If you get all your items then amazing you are the lucky one. If you didn't and expect your money to come back... Good luck. This website is terrible don't waste your money here!

so i want to return a dress just purchased, i have been all over the page for custiomer sevice, to make a return, now i am stuck with this dress of $120, 00, because i cannot find a way to return, this is not fair, and a total rip off. the dress is lovely and fit well, but ba bit much for where i am going,

Light In The Box non delivery and no refund when asking for a refund

Pathetic service delivery, empty promises and crooks, taking your money, not delivering a product and then not refunding you when you ask as you have to wait till the deadline of the second or third time's attempt at sending a parcel to you - that is what Lightinthebox offers. We ordered 5 separate parcels during the start of October and the longest waiting period is 20 work days. It is now almost December and after numerous emails ("tickets") I have now requested my money back and for them to then contact their couriers and get their parcels back from wherever it is in transit as it's not my problem any longer. They do not want to give me my money back when I ask, as they say I must wait for the parcel. I find it pathetic to have to wait almost 2 months for parcels ordered, which was promised to be here within 10 - 20 work days. They keep making empty promises and moving up delivery dates, promising to send parcels again, when we have had enough time waiting and just want our money back. They are rude and crooks, if they want to keep money for items not delivered. They want to give us Credit for our account to purchase again, but we never want to make use of their online shop again as the service is probably the worst from any online store we have ever used. My items alone are $77.50 and I would just like them to refund me without any more hassles.

Light In The Box deceptive shipping

I paid extra for speedy delivery. I paid extra for expedited shipping and it said 3-5 business days. I counted out 3-5 days which came and went. It has been in "processing" way over a week. They also already took my money. I emailed a complaint and said I wanted a refund for expedited and charge only for th lowst priced shipping since the 20th is almost 20 days later. They then emailed me about the time it takes to go through a thorough inspection then carefully boxing it. There is nothing on the site saying that it takes many days to get the purchase ready to ship and that 3-5 days is what it takes when they actually ship! I told them that this is deceptive and that they need to explain that on the site. They only mention that policy on site with Super saver shipping. I will never order from them again.

Light In The Box ony camera leather case (hx90)

I am from Bangalore, India. I had ordered and paid for in full, through credit card, for a Sony Camera leather case. (Order No.[protected]) on Sept 8, 2015. I was told it will take 10-20 days for delivery. I had additionally paid for shipping & insurance separately. Nowhere can I contact them in the site even through on the site it says that my item has been processed and already shipped. This on Sept 12th and now its almost 55 days and there is no sign of my item. My have lost my money. Whats worse, my credit card details has been stolen 15 days later with some spurious transactions that I never made. I have disputed with the bank who are investigating. I have no direct proof that the two are linked but this is plausible in the overall context. I made a terrible mistake with this "fake" website. I am sure that it is run by Chinese scamsters. DONT FALL FOR THIS SCAM. Don't buy from this website, ever.

I ordered this item on September 30 paid the extra fee to have expiduted shipping so that it would arrive to my father in 4-5 days... he is in a rehab faciluty and just wants to shave on his own... he calls me every day wanting to know if its coming... you people are a disgrace...

Dont buy from lightinthebox.com. I bought a quadcopter udi u818a and I got it without camera. I wrote review on seller page and they delete it. I ask them to verify other sites that sell this udi model and see that should came with a camera and after 2weeks they told me that the udi model u818a it comes without camera. Totaly not true. I tried to write another review on seller page but if you dont rate it with 4-5 stars, they will delete it. "

I would like to know where my order is. I ordered 2 shirts back on Sept 10th. I have not received my order. There is no way to contact you. My order # is PNL9930946233. I tried to track the order & it comes up, no company found. I would like my order or I want to cancel it if I don't hear from anyone. 10-20 days for delivery that's a joke. If I don't hear from you in 24 hrs I will be contacting the Attorney General of my State to make a complaint & to have them research the problem. Light In The Box delivery methods

This company has to be the worst I have ever had to deal with. I ordered a product on September 16th and came to find out it may take 30 days to receive a product that shipped on the 24th of September that is merely going 5 states. When I contacted the company their only response was what appeared to be a generated email explaining they use ground shipping as the cheapest form of shipping. So my question is what ground shipping do they use? horse and buggy, I know I have shipped products out of the country weighing more than 15lbs and they arrived to their destination within 10 days, I have shipped products by ground within the US and it takes 3-7 business days. So my question is why would it A. cost 15 dollars for ground shipping for a product no heavier than 2lbs? and B. why would it take 30 days? wait I know SCAM artist that's what it is, that's why no matter how many times you email them you receive exactly the same email in response and its exactly why they cannot be reach by phone! stay clear of this company, especially when there are several others providing the same services...but do it honestly!

Light In The Box order was never recieved!

Do not order from lightinthebox.com

I placed an order 2 months ago and have still not received it! I contacted them twice by submitting ticket and inquiring about the status of my order & they responded it was shipped and I will receive it in 10-20 business days. The order was placed 2 months ago (Aug. 3, 2015) and I have still not received it as of sept 24, 2015!

I went to contact customer service again and they have removed their option to submit a 'ticket' to inquire about the status of the order, they have no email address not do they provide a phone number.
Do not orde from them!

I will now contact the better business bureau (Bbb) an let them handle the matter.

Very unhappy! Especially with a company this size...

Light In The Box delivery scam and no customer service!

Their delivery tactics and lack of customer support are reprehensible!

I ordered because I could select 6-8 business days for delivery (for an extra fee) but then they say it will arrive on Oct 3, which is 24 days, this is unacceptable. Until you have completed your purchase, you are not shown that you must add two different deliveries to get your total number of days. Which begs the question, "Why can't your website calculate that BEFORE you pay?"

Nowhere on the site is there a way to contact customer service. Every path leads to a dead end. I can't even cancel the order even though it has not yet shipped!

NEVER ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!

Light In The Box cannot unsubscribe

I have unsubscribed on TWO different email addresses (which I never signed up to receive a newsletter to begin with) from receiving any newsletters from Lightinthebox.com, yet I continue to receive the unwanted emails. The latest ones being the morning of 9/2/2015 (and I unsubscribed AGAIN the night previous 9/1/2015). Please stop sending me emails.

Light In The Box no customer service or reply to request or help on order

I am very disappointed with this sites lack of customer service. They should be required to state on their site an ordering page so that consumers know they don’t have a customer service to take care of their orders if there are problems. I ordered a dress and several other items I needed for a beach wedding and photo shoot this weekend. I paid for expedited shipping & paid through paypal. Everytime I checked online for my order it kept saying “Pending” but without any explanation or link to follow up on. I contacted customer service several times to find out what pending meant and what the status of my expedited order was, I never received an email or phone call from their company regarding any problems with the order and I only received a couple of generic replies to my service requests that gave directions on how to check the order online, which is what I had been doing without any notifications or reasons for delay from the company and with absolutely no way to contact the company by phone to talk to someone even though their site states there are reps in 27 different languages to help. Well, I never received any help from the company on my order and I needed it today! I also gave my complete phone number twice to my customer service inquiries and asked that someone please call me so I could find out what to do & no one called ever! Today I logged on and someone on their site changed the pending to pending with a question mark that when I dragged over it said payment incomplete. Now, I never received any notice from paypal that there was a problem or from the company, so there was nothing I could do to take care of it in a timely manner. Basically, this shows they do not have a true customer service department or follow through with request from customers to explain the problem or even call since they do not provide any type of a phone number for customers to call. All consumers should be made aware of this type of service so they can fully understand they will not be able to contact the company for help or receive a direct reply for help on orders, this is quite different from most online companies, so they should make this information known on their site so people know when they are ordering they will not be able to speak with anyone, or even get a direct reply in email at the very least!

Light In The Box unable to unsubscribe from newsletter

I am unable to unsubscribe from the newsletter, the unsubscribe link in the mail (that i didn't sign up for) does not work.
I keep receiving their spam.

I advised other Dutch people that were also having this problem, to make a spam complaint at spamklacht.nl, after this they blocked me on Facebook.

Lightinthebox, be the hero in this case and remove my mail from your newsletter/promotinional database.
Also, fix your unsubscribe link and your FAQ. What's being stated in the FAQ about unsubscribing from newsletter isn't possible, the field is nowhere to be found.

Light In The Box shipped out, unavailable tracking, order still hasn't arrived

Hi I ordered a projector from Lightinthebox.com, a month ago, they shipped it out the very next day I paid for the item. The order has not arrived since then and I can not track the order either because the link they have given is not working.

I paid $84 plus the shipping charges included.
If the item does not arrive I will be forced to ask for a refund and refrain from using the site.

I made a purchase that never arrived, but they did refund the cost. Since then I have unsubscribed numerous times from their emails to no avail. I contacted them directly about removing my email address from their system and they told me to just keep trying. Doesn't this break the anti-spam laws?

Light In The Box shipping info false

No Means of communication on their site! It tells you to click on your order # & it will give a box to contact them. This does not happen! The only way to message them is through their Facebook page. The items I ordered are for my son's wedding on 6/6/15. I paid extra to have the items expedited (3-5 days) . This order was placed on 5/19/15 & it is still processing! When they did respond to my message on Facebook they told me the order will ship on 6/4/15 & they told me to be patient! There is no way I will get it in time for the wedding! I asked them to cancel my order & refund my money but now they aren't responding to my request! I would not recommend this company to anyone!

I had chosen USPS to deliver the order to me.

I have been using hosting services for many months now. Have been really content
with the services. My Website has been working well. Have been able to sort out any
queries contacting their support team. All in all, the web hosting was worth the money.Hope they continue to serve well. Manas hosting is one of best service provider. For my new business I have taken my domain name registration services from Manas hosting in at cheap price.The new domain package I would recommend Manashosting in to everyone for very good customer support.

Light In The Box the seller hasn't warned me about custom charges

I placed large order on the website www.lightinthebox.co.uk. I paid about $200 for the order, but the seller hasn’t told me that I would need to pay for the customs. I got the bill for $50, and it was mentioned that I need to pay it within 30 days or I wouldn’t get the order. What the hell? I tried to reach the seller, but this scammer ignored me. I won’t buy from them again.

Light In The Box cannot get thru link they said to log on to for my returned item they received

The dress I ordered was too small. Lighinthebox refused to give me a refund stating it was my fault for not giving the correct size. I measured the dress and found it to be the incorrect measurement for my size. They relayed to me the instructions on returning the dress which I did. Received an email stating to click on following link which I did and nothing. No link activated by lightinthebox. I'm starting to feel the run around. I will never order from this company again.

ORDERED A CAR STEREO FROM THIS COMPANY, IT ARRIVED VIA UPS.HAD TO PAY EXTRA 25 POUNDS IMPORT DUTY! OPENED BOX AND WELL WHAT A LOAD OF RUBBISH! POORLY MADE! WIRED UP IM MY CAR AND YES IT DOES NOT WORK! EMAILED THE COMPANY AND IM STILL WAITING FOR A REPLY HMMMMM! AFTER READING A FEW COMPLAINTS AGAINST THESE FRAUDSTERS IM THINKING IVE BEEN HAD! I ordered a dress from this company. It arrived in a timely manner, however it was not tailored to my specifications and according to their charts-they cut it way too short than what I told them. I have tried for the last three weeks to get this problem resolved. They list a phone number that does not answer. They have given me nothing but the run around if they answer my messages at all. This company is BAD NEWS. DO NOT USE!

I ordered a couple of coats and a scar from this company a few weeks ago. Everything alright, on time. BUT today a guy from DHL called me saying I was charged with $109.52 for the delivery. How the hell is this even possible, since the delivery was free accord to what these guys from LightInTheBox said?

This company is a fraud. The first thing is there clothing is not made by American size charts. After you order they do not want to refund you and they use stall tactics to run over the time limit. Customer service is horrible. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DRESS COMPANY IT IS FRAUDULENT!

Light In The Box product was not available

More than a month ago I ordered a black jacket with red fowers at Light in the Box, via internet. About 2 later I received an email from Light in the Box that the item was no longer available that they had cancelled my order. Today I noticed that Light in the box has charged my creditcard (Visa) for €15.50 allthough I requested at the time of their cancallation to retourn the amount to my credit account (Visa). In answer they send me the https://www.lightinthebox.com/index.php?main_page=ticket_after_detail&id=9150359 which is non existing according to google. How do I get a refound, I no longer trust Light in the Box, I want my money back.

I payed 15.90 euro for a jacked i never received, this happend about a year ago. Complaining was a waste of time. Wat 's the trouble with returning my money?

There is no link on this page. I especially got 3-4 days delivery and it didn't come within the 4 days. I paid $25 for this delivery. So I could have for my holiday. I have now changed address. My new address is 4D/6 Bligh place Randwick 2031. Or just give me my money back.

Light In The Box scamming me

On Friday 20th March 2015, i went on the Light In The Box site for the first time, before paying through my Pay Pal account for two android phones, these cost me £113.91, i then paid a further £15, 99 for the" Expedited Shipping & delivery costs " ( 3 to 5 days) to my home address, and was led to believe that this would cover everything, then they shipped it to another Chinese shipping company called UPS, and they are causing all kind of problems & driving me crazy! they now say my parcel is in Swansea & want me to pick it with £32 for tax & shipping costs, I am a 66year old housebound pensioner with chronic health problems, I have no one to help or advise me of how to deal with this difficult company, i do everything online, Shopping, Banking, Pay bills & have accounts with a lot of companies but i have never in the last five years ever come up against a company that are blatantly lying & deceiving consumers, I have a pension ( credit) every week & it is going to cause me great hardship if i dont know how to handle these thieves, With Respect, G Palmer

It has been more than a month I've ordered several items on this site. They told me that I would receive them between 10-20 days and my order are still not here. I can't be refund as I have no products to send back. I'll never order from this site again!

Hey I also bought a product from light in the box. It came eventually but very late. I suggest u pay for the tax because if y don't u will simply bit get your money back that u spent on the phone. After u clear this mess up plz do not ever use light in the box. They r not scammers just very cheap and try to do things in the most inexpensive way possible. EBay uses the same methods but are trusted and will give u an estimated delivery time.
