Lowe's Gas range

I have a tenant who needed a replacement range. That night I went on line and ordered a range with the earliest delivery in 3 weeks. Neither I nor my tenant was very happy about the time frame but were to open to excepting it. Since the cost was in my name and address I had to call 3 times to verify the delivery address. The day before the delivery date, I was told the it would be delayed another week since it was a special delivery. This was never mentioned in all the other contact times. And the delivery address was still not correct and they were bringing it to my house. What a mess--the system only works from the buyers phone. It can't handle delivery to another address. I am planning on canceling the order, in hopes of getting another range. For any of my needs to my tenants quarters, I will not deal with Lowe's and their delivery issues.

Lowe's GE Dishwasher

We purchased the GE dishwasher from Lowes in February 2020 with 1 year Manufacture's warranty and 5 year extended warranty or Protection plan by Lowes.

Jan 2022 our dishwasher started showing tantrums and we called Lowes customer care for the repair. They sent the technician to fix it but it didn't work out. The technician ordered the new part which took 2 weeks to arrive and even after that it didn't work. After many failed attempt to replace the parts and still the dishwasher not working, I called the Lowes Customer Service.

They gave me the Case Number and said that I should talk to local store from where it got delivered.

I called them and went in store. The dishwasher was picked up the next day saying that it will be replaced and will be delivered. We even went and selected the replacement dishwasher and it was told that they will call us in a day and two. Its been more than 2 weeks and 3 days we haven't heard nothing from them.

Being frustrated and annoyed I called the store Appliance delivery manager and he said that he will take care and will call the Lowe's insurance to get the issue resolved. But nothing. I called the manager again and he said that the insurance company said that they will contact us directly instead of contacting the manager.

I didn't hear anything again and its been week.

I called the Corporate number and the manager there said that they don't know why the store is calling the insurance company. Its the GE who is supposed to do the replacement.

They are just going spirals.

I would never ever buy anything from Lowes after this ferocious experience and would surrender my Lowes store card too.

I just want closure on my case and that's it!

Desired outcome: I would like to get my replacement dishwasher delivered

Lowe's reimbursement for water filter

I purchased the Lowes protection plan, I called to get the form to fill out for the refund for the water filters I purchased. I filled out the form, attached copy of receipt on 04/01/2022 and hit reply to the email just as the email with the form requested you to do. I received no response and no gift card. I sent 3 more emails asking if anyone had received my previous emails and no response. I called the 888-77 lowes number on 05/11/2022 and was on hold for 80 minutes before someone answered. after about 25 minutes on the phone with him he assured me he took care of it and I would receive my gift card with in 3 days. On May 23rd I called again and after 40 minutes on hold someone answered and told me exactly what the first gentlemen told me, that she would take care of everything. I said that is exactly what the other gentlemen told me and nothing was taken care of. I ask her to send me an email just stating what she had said verbally and she said no. then after she told me everything was taken care of and I would receive e-gift card then she said oh you need to send the info to a different address. I ask to speak to her supervisor and she just thru my call back into the general phone cue. I can't express how unhappy I am with the lowes protection plan and at this point I believe my hours of trying to get this problem taken care of (being totally Lowes fault) should be worth some kind of compensation and I totally should be getting my reimbursement for my water filters!

Lowe's Whirlpool dryer

My dryer has quit working it want dry the clothes. I called lowes customer care about it becaused I have a 5year warranty on it. I got the receipt but the receipt is half gone. And they say they need a better copy of it. I purchased the dryer a lowes in liveoak, fl on november 29, 2020 in cash 479.99. Store# 2462. It was broken down last year and whirlpool warranty came out and fix it. They next time it break down for me to contact lowes next time. And now yall giving me a hard time about it. The phone number I used to get the dryer for deliver was [protected] nw 38th dr or st. Jasper, fla. 32052. Barbara carter. Get something done or you contact lowes to come and get this dryer and refund my money. They want me to retrieved the original receipt. I don't know if they got that or not. They didn't give a contract paper becaused I paid for it in cash. Just a receipt that is half gone but something is still on it showing that I purchased the dryer from lowes

Lowe's Order delayed/canceled

I ordered an Iio retro refrigerator in late March, order has been delayed several times each time accepting the delay. Yesterday again and email that my order was delayed again and shortly affer received 2nd email stating my order was canceled. Contacted customer finally after over an hour wait call was returned only with no avail of resolution, compassion or understanding with little to NO customer service! I finally asked to speak to a supervisor only to be put on hold finally hanging up after 30 minutes! Frustrating and ridiculous

Desired outcome: I would like a response and apology! I would also like it for at least the sale price that was advertised last week

Lowe's Firepit table

I purchased a firepit table from your orchard park store in May 2020 and last October it started on fire inside next to the tank. I connector broke off inside and almost Killed me, I needed to replace some parts of the wiring and gas connector I called the manufacturer and they sent me the wrong parts and in fact they don't apparently sell the replacement parts for what i need. They wanted me to send the parts back at a cost to me to ship most likely 25.00 and they would not refund the shipping to me. So I can send back pay another 25.00 and get 20.00 back but now I'm left with the shipping all the way around. Allen and Roth is a terrible company who doesn't give a s**t about anyone. The supervisor at Allen and Roth offered nothing. I called your customer service team got a call back and an apology. That's great doesn't do anything for me. I need to call the BBB and rate your company as well as Allen and Roth very poor. BTW I spent 400.00 on this table which now is a pile of crap. If you want to do something before I have start the process you can refund me the cost of the firepit table I doubt you will.

Lowe's Kobalt lawnmower

So I was on the phone with the service & warranty department just now. I had patiently been working with a young girl named Blessing to resolve my issue. She had put me on hold Again and I somehow was connected to some associate somewhere who knew nothing about what was going on, I hung up. I am 62yrs old, have Lupus and several other health problems. I never feel good and am in constant pain. I am so upset with this situation although it seemed as if Blessing and her supervisor just about had it resolved but I knew I'd Never get them back once the connection was lost. I bought my mower at Lowes and I emailed this letter and the lease. This mess is not my fault! I was just doing what one of the associates in warranty told me. What was going to take 2 days has turned into weeks. Here is the email... I bought my mower through Progressive Leasing so I called them and they sent me the contract. As you can see the items are not broken down but she assured me the 2yr protection plan was included. I hope and pray we get this straightened out because the young girl I talked to last week told me that I would be getting a Voucher in my email to take to Lowes for a full refund but I explained to her that I would use the Voucher to replace my other mower. I ask her about where to take the non-working mower once I entered Lowes and she said I didn't have to bring it back, just keep it or throw it away. Since she told me all of this and I have very limited room in my small home, I put it up to the road. It's GONE! I'm so upset, I'm beside myself. I never would have done something so stupid but she told me Lowes wouldn't want it.

Lowe's Botched countertop installation

I contracted a countertop installation through Lowes specifically because I was sure that if there were any issues, Lowes would take care of them. I was wrong.

I should have seen the red flags when it took several months for the contractor to return my calls about scheduling a measurement appointment. After that, I was able to schedule the installation date. I was told it would be a 1-day project.

For the installation date, they gave an arrival window of 8am to 4pm. I was a little surprised they would give that big of a window given that it was a pretty big "1-day" project, but I made sure my husband was there at 8am (we live 2.5 hours away from the project site). The installers finally arrived at noon and did not leave until 1am! Needless to say, my husband now had to take 2 days off of work instead of just one.

The morning after the install, now being light out, it was clear that the installers did a pretty shoddy job. Not only were there over 30 scratches on the countertops, there were cracks in the corners by the sink cut out and the cook top cut out. One end of our granite backsplash was almost 2 inches short, the seams were horribly done over the cook top... it was a disaster.

As disappointing and frustrating as it was, I still had faith that Lowes would handle it. I contacted their customer service and they scheduled a "fix" to come out. Again, another day off work for my husband. The guy who came out to assess and fix the errors was overwhelmed and told us that he could only fill the scratches today. After contacting Lowes customer service again, they had me send them photos of the work. I called daily to get updates and didn't hear from them for weeks. I finally just heard from them saying they will not be sending the contractors out again and they would not be giving me any discount on the project. She also threw in there that if I didn't pay, they would be sending me to collections. I was just so shocked at this whole response.

I am so disappointed and feel so swindled after this whole ordeal. I literally went with Lowes only because I knew there would not be an issue like this, yet here we are. I've been patronizing Lowe's for years and years and I'm just shocked that it came down to this even when I was willing to work with them on a solution.

Desired outcome: Lowes acknowledge that the contractor they used did a bad job and work with me on a solution (monetarily)

Lowe's Lowe's Protection Plan

I have spent hours on phone trying to schedule a repair on my washing machine I purchased from Lowe's with a protection plan.

The machine broke. I contacted their 888# for schedule a repair but what an ordeal:

After spending 1 hour on Friday on hold, someone finally came on but I couldn't complete the call. So I called back and waited then 2 hours. Finally got a person, scheduled the repair for yesterday, Monday, May 16th.

No one showed up on Mondy to repair the appliance. No one called either.

Now 2 more hours on the phone, waiting in a cue because whichever call center they are using in India is always "experiencing a higher than usual call volume".

Can someone give me some kind of customer service that doesn't involve all of the above?

Desired outcome: 1) don't make it necesary for a customer to have to wait 3 hours to speak to someone 2) after schedule a service for a specific date, ensure that actually happens.

Lowe's Service and delivery

Purchased 120 mason blocks on May5th 2022. Was told delivery would be the13th. On May 10th I received a call asking if they could deliver that day. I agreed and the girl told me she would call me back. I never heard back and after calling every day unit May the 17th I still do not have my block and can not get a manager at this store to call me back.

They did say they had driver issues. I understand that no problem, however when a customer calls for 6 days straight and can't get his supplies he paid for or a call back about the delivery that's a management problem that needs to be addresses by corporate.

Not once was I asked or given an option to keep me as a Lowes customer.

Lowe's Damaged Door

Order #[protected]

We ordered the door and had it shipped. Once we received the door and was able to inspect it, we noticed that on both sides of the door frame, there are chunks of wood missing from where the delivery had it strapped to the box truck. It is not on just one side of the door but both. There is no way of fixing this but to have to purchase new trim work to replace it.

Desired outcome: Credit towards purchase reimbursed.

Lowe's Delivery failure

Ordered an EGO Power+ Lawn Mower (LM2135sp) online from the Matamoros, PA store. It was delivered used, with grass and dirt on all the parts. I called to have it replaced and was told it came from the newton, NJ store. Called newton and spoke with the delivery manager, Victoria. She promised the used mower would be picked up the next day (Sunday) but could not deliver a new mower until the used one was received or I purchased a new mower. I refuse to purchase a second mower because they were at fault. No one came to pick up the used mower on Sunday and I called back and spoke to Jessica, the operations manager, because deliver was closed for the day. Jessica promised to call me back when she 'figured' out what happened. She never did. I called back Monday and Jessica is out and no one is picking up in delivery.

This is unacceptable customer service. Why am I doing all this work for your mistakes?

Desired outcome: I want my new mower delivered ASAP. I want the used mower picked up ASAP. and you what? I want compensation for my trouble too.

Lowe's Unable to change address after shipment

I have noticed that my old address was on my order when I received the shipping information. I called to have it changed and they will not change it because it was shipped. But it is just the label created and not in the hands of FedEx. They are telling me to wait until it is delivered and dispute the charge. FedEx allows delivery address to be changed but it has to come from the shipper. Not sure why Lowes would not make sure they have a way to change addresses for shipment.

Lowe's Pine trees

To whom it may concern:

I purchased 4 small pine trees at the Medford Lowe’s store. A year has passed and the trees barely are growing and seem half dead.

I take special care of all my plants in my garden and find it shocking that they are in this condition!

I've been giving them the proper amount of food and fresh water.

So I decided to stop by Medford Lowe’s and explained the situation, along with my tags and receipt, and the cashier, tried to help by scanning the tags to reimburse me, but no luck. The cashier then proceeded to get the manager.

The manager really did not help much, to my surprise he loudly blamed me of careless keeping, stating that I must of neglected them by not watering them enough. I was upset, embarrassed, and annoyed, all at the same time of his insinuations.

That's why I'm contacting Lowe’s Corporate, I have confidence that hopefully you can either reimburse me or replace the damaged trees.

Your efforts will be gladly appreciated!

Lowe's Dishwasher

My father purchased a brand new dishwasher from lowes 1.5 years ago. Has had many issues with it. Now it broke again and parts were recalled. Now all of a sudden all parts are on back order. He filed a complaint with lowes corporate. Calls back today and no case was listed. So now my parents have an expensive dishwasher that has not worked in month.

Lowe's Delivery & store communications

May 13, 2022:

I want to report the Pompano Beach Store and their inability to deliver merchandise when you (the store) and the delivery company agreed to deliver. I purchased $13,000 of appliances and carpet that I have cancelled as of today in person myself with the store manager for failure of delivery at the stated committed time. This was the hair that broke the camels back that lead to a total breakdown on my part. I will be cancelling my newly opened Lowes account and I will never shop in your store again!

BTW, the Pompano Beach store also needs a person to answer the phone. I called 4 times yesterday, they never answered the line the first 3 calls and the 4th call, when your Corporate office forwarded me to the store, they picked up the receiver and hung it up without saying a word!

I’m addition, your computer system tracking orders needs help (and I have a friend that this very thing happened to earlier this week in an Orlando area store). When I called the Corporate office for help they could not locate my order by my telephone number, insisting I gave the store a different number. I spoke with a manager last night in the Pompano store and he also could not find my order via my phone number! Both of them could only pull the order up through the delivery system.

PS: This is not the first time that we have had delivery issues with your company, but the third. The last store that had delivery issues was located in Big Rapids MI. I vowed to write a complaint on that store, and I let it go. This time I’ve submit the complaint and will not allow myself to be put in that position again by your Company.

Desired outcome: Full refund, including fees. An apology and something for my inconvenience and hardship.

Lowe's 4 year EPP purchased on Apr 28, 2019

I purchased a Husqvarna Garden tractor from Lowes and opted for the 4 year EPP. Little did I know that the Lowes Plan only kicks in after the manufacturer warranty expires, Husqvarna warranty is bumper to bumper for 3 years. So in essence I paid $369.97 for one year of warranty and can't even use it as of today.

On May 11, 2022 I needed to file a claim and called their EPP # [protected]. On May 11, 2022 I held for over one hour and never was connected with a rep, but was told via recording how important my call was.

On May 12, 2022 I have been on hold for over 45 minutes and waiting.

What good does does purchasing something do if you can't use it.

I am beyond frustrated, and an considering entering a complaint with my CC complaint or asking for a refund.

I WILL NEVER PURCHASE AN EPP FROM LOWES AGAIN.
