On 5/25 i had a water heater installed. Next to where the water heater sets is the drain to my washing machine and a drain tube from my furnace that was ran into the side of the washing machine drain. During the installation the drain tube was knocked out and where the tube connected to the drain left a big hole. When i turned on my washing machine water ran out of where the tube was connected prior to install. I called and they sent out a tech who fixed a broken tile that they also broke durning the installation but he did nothing to fix the hole in the washing machine drain. He told me that i just needed to buy some flex seal tape and cover the hole and left. I tried the flex seal tape, although i should have insisted that he fix the hole, and that did not work. While i was buying the tape one of the lowes sales associates also suggested using a water proof caulk. I tried that next and that did not work either. i feel that i am being taken advantage due to the fact that i did not have him repair this initially and that i am a women.
Desired outcome: I want my leak corrected as now i have a mold issue where the water heater sits or i want to be compensated a discount on my bill. I would prefer to have the leak fixed.
