Riding mower
I have been a customer of Lowes since the day they opened their doors in Deptford NJ. Over the years I have bought everything for my home from light bulbs to a complete kitchen make over. The last few years this Lowes has gone down considerably as far as customer service goes. You have to search all over the store to find someone to help you and then you have to wonder if they know what they are talking about. In the last 2 years I have gone to Lowes for a microwave, refrigerator, plywood, just to name a few things, that I ended up going to purchase from Home Depot because of lack of service from Lowes. 2 years ago we bought a riding mower from Lowes and purchased the extended warranty for it because we were told that it would be INHOME service, meaning, the repair folks would come to the house yearly to change oil, sharpen blade and or any repairs that needed to done. We have now been told that is not the case, we waited weeks for someone to come pick up the mower for maintenance and now we can't get ahold of the place to check on it, nor are we getting a response from Lowes as to what the status of our mower is! I'm sure no one will care about this but, I would like to make you aware that this has been my last experience with Lowes, I will never purchase another item from your store. Gutters installation
Good Morning.
We are reaching out for assistance on our Job Order from 3/3/2023.
Our contract indicates as part of our roofing project, Lowe’s will remove existing gutters, install new 5’ gutters and haul away debris.
The roof was installed at the end of May; however, the gutters were not.
I have contacted the installation department numerous times. They indicate they have reached out to [edited] (the in-home consultant) a couple of different times requesting the necessary documentation for the gutters to be installed.
I was working through a store manager/supervisor until the beginning of June and started contacting the installation team on June 8th.
Every time I call for an update, I have to wait 2 business days for an update, and another 2 days, and another 2 days, and so on.
I hope you are able to resolve this issue as soon as possible.

Delivery promises
The incident started on or about 21 June 2023. I purchased a riding mower from the Midwest City Oklahoma store with a promise to deliver it on Saturday 24 June 23. I was called and told that there was not a driver available so can they deliver Sunday and I agreed. When it didn’t show up on Sunday I called and was told that there was no delivery scheduled, so now promised on Monday 26 June 23 between 8a-12p….it never arrived. Called the store again and got the runaround before I spoke to whomever the power equipment manager is. He told me that there was three mowers there (someone also delivered the one assembled) but two were broken. I was told that one would be assembled on Tuesday 25 June 23 and delivered on Wednesday 26 June 23. He also informed me that he would compensate me for the time I had taken off in the amount of $250.00 (I make more than that in a day). The assistant manager, someone named George again told me that the item would be delivered today, however it still has not been delivered. I even asked if they could schedule the delivery after 4:30pm and was told that it had to be before 5pm. Now I am being told that it was scheduled for delivery anytime between 8am and 8pm. This is nothing close to what I was initially told. I am requesting to be compensated for my time that I had to take off without pay and even though I make more than $250.00 per day I am asking to be compensated in the amount of $500.00. I also want to state that I am a long time customer of Lowes but am seriously considering taking my business to Home Depot. I know I am only one person and my money won’t be missed.

Lowes credit card cancelled.
My lowes card was cancelled through no fault on my part. Some how a second bank was put on my account. I have not had that bank in at least 8 years. I had set up for payments to be done in equal installments, these payments were sent to the wrong and bank a nd of course they bounced because this wasn't the right bank. After contacting Lowes this issue was taken care of. But because the payments were sent to wrong bank and bounced my account was closed. Two things I want to know how the one bank was put on my account and I want my Lowes account renstared
Desired outcome: Two things my account reinstated and how the one bank account was put on my account, Even though Synchrony Bank has sent me a letter saying the account has been corrected. I still have been turned down for a Lowes Card.
Exterior vinyl fencing
I ordered and paid $8100 for vinyl fencing with Lowes in Holly Springs, NC. The fencing installation was May 5th. The fence was not completed and done incorrectly based on the approve plan. There is an 8ft section of fence missing on the side because they said they ran out of materials. They also placed 8ft wide corner panels on each front corner which should have only been 4ft wide each.
The front fencing should be 4ft wide on each side at the corner
The side fencing space should be closed
The remainder of the caps should be secured
The 2 pallets removed that were left when they picked up the excess cement
Desired outcome: I definitely want a partial refund of some kind.
No checkers!
In the last 2 days, Sunday & Monday, there has been ! checker on Sunday and NO checkers on Monday!
I refuse to do their work for them, since I am NOT employed by the store! I have plenty of neighbors that refuse to do self checkout also! Lowes is trying to save money by getting rid of checkers and to have you check yourself out! If customers would realize that Lowes is costing jobs by doing self checkout, maybe they would refuse also! On top of that, you can find NO help in this store! I REFUSE TO DO SELF CHECKOUT AND TOOK MY BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!

Approximately three weeks ago I noticed that the freezer was not cooling properly. At the lowest setting of 7 (4 is the factory default) the freezer was registering a temperature of 20 degrees. At the factory default of 4 the freezer should register at in-between 0 and 10 degrees. During the three weeks of this fiasco, I have had to keep the freezer at 7, which is taking up a lot of electricity just to keep the freezer at 20 degrees.
I called Lowes extended warranty number, and a case was opened. A tech came out and suggested a couple of replacement parts. Several days later the problem was not fixed (misdiagnosed) and I called Lowes extended warranty and opened another case.
Two weeks ago, a tech came out and stated that it looked like a compressor, condenser or evaporator problem. However, he stated that to do diagnostics he would have to tap into the compressor and if he did that the compressor would not be any good and that I could be without a refrigerator for a couple weeks or possibly up to three weeks. I told him that he should know that this was not an option. He stated he would call into the office for guidance. He then called me back and stated that the compressor, condenser and evaporator, along with necessary parts had been approved. He also stated that although Lowes offers that extended warranty on Amana refrigerators, A&E might not have the parts or would have to order like parts from a vendor they do stock.
A new appointment was made for June 19 to install the parts. The parts did not show up and I had to reschedule for this Thursday. I would think that with parts this critical to the operation of the refrigerator that A&E would have put and expedite on the UPS shipment, so the parts were on time.
It is now the 20th and all the parts have not arrived. One part arrived and it is from Whirlpool. If A&E is the contracted service repair company for Lowes, why is Lowes selling Amana refrigerators? I hope that the like parts work properly.
Another issue is that A&E has a time window of 8-5 making planning difficult to ensure someone is here at the house. I had to take two vacation days and will need to take another one on Thursday.
There are over 2,000 google reviews for A&E and they have a rating of one star. No company has an overall rating of one star. Lowes should think about hiring another service contractor. You never speak to a live person. Give their number a call and see for yourself [protected]. Although UPS comes close with an overall rating of 1.1. The perfect combination to deal with on one project.
Finally received the condenser coil (whirlpool) and compressor today 6/20. But the packing slips do not mention anything about an evaporator or service valve. Which is another screw up by A&E. I think they are in the box with the compressor and condenser, but without them being on the packing slip I do not know.
6/22 – a different tech called stating it looks like the evaporator was not in an existing box and that they would check on the status with ups and another appointment would have to be made. Another appointment was made for June 30th. Provided the replacement parts from Whirlpool are correct for the Amana refrigerator. The evaporator was just delivered with no prior tracking information sent to my email address. The evaporator was sent via ups surepost, which gets delivered to the local post office then the home address. The status of the tracking shows on the way, not out for delivery. Finally received notification that the package was delivered. Called the tech to see now that all parts appear to be here that the next appointment can be moved up to a date earlier than June 30th. I left a voice message.
6/23 – I left another message with the tech. Since the evaporator has been ordered I am unable to reschedule the appointment to a sooner date because I am directed to the a&e web site and when I input the service order, zip code and telephone number it does not recognize the data and directs me to call the service number which does me no good because the part is on order. I called the first technician and left a voice message hoping to have the appointment rescheduled for a sooner date. All during this time we have left our freezer and refrigerator almost empty. I was finally able to get to a rescheduling option via phone call by continuing to press various numbers. The appointment is now scheduled for 6/26
6/26 – tech replaced compressor and a couple of other parts; the compressor was the problem.
6/27 – after 27 days the refrigerator/freezer is finally working properly. Home Depot and other appliance vendors use local appliance repair companies. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER APPLICANCE AT LOWES AGAIN – NEVER.

Absurdly cancelled critical business order
My order number is #779878801which was placed on June 25, 2023 for in store Pickup at Stockbridge 3505 MT. Zion RD. Stockbridge, GA 30288.
My order was suddenly cancelled without notice till I was getting ready to head to the store to pick my order.
My refund wont take place immediately. I was told by a mean customer service person who had no customer service manner to wait till I get my money back then go shop again. Well a mean one for sure who has no clue of my business being jeopardize because of Lowes unprofessional work.
Now I was forced to cancel my service to the customer because Lowes made me lost the deal. I lost $1000 of work benefits because of Lowes.
Not only they will work with me to find a solution for my issue I was rudely told to wait and that there is no solution for me. I am glad I saved my conversation with that unprofessional customer service agent: Kionye' and her supervisor Nike.
Desired outcome: I am demanding a resolution from Lowe's who just made me lost my business and money.
Lowe's gift card
Lowes issued a gift card via email that states: Lost or stolen gift cards can only be replaced upon presentation of original sales receipt for any remaining balance.
Our card was stolen and used online for the balance of $1400.00 three days after our last purchase. We reported it to the police as Lowes said to do in order to get reimbursed. Now they say that it's up to the police to get back the money and not them. They will not stand by their commitment.
We have the original receipt that says the balance which is over $1400.00. Needless to say, it's extremely discouraging that a company that we have been purchasing most of our appliances and everything else will not stand by their customer.
Desired outcome: I would like Lowes to stand by their gift cards and do what they said they would do and replace it with the balance.

Ordered the unit from Lowes on 6/10/23, came in a week later. Opened the box there was a dent on the left side of the door. Open the door to it there was a brown spot on right right side of the, and my wife tried to clean it. that would not get cleaned it looks like rust. So, went back to Lowes and explain the problem. Had to order another one and pay for it. The 2nd one was delivered to my house on June 19th. Open the box and looked for dents, did not see any dents, but there were 4 scratches going vertically in the front of it. Opened the door that there were brown spots all over the units, Looks like they run test wash and left the dirty water in the unit. I packed both units and ask my neighbor to help put them in my truck to return both unit back to Lowes. I have made 4 trips to Lowes which is about 10 miles from my house and I had paid the delivery guys $40 dollars in tips just to get a dishwasher. So my question to you is WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO MAYTAG.

Customer service and misleading pricing.
Purchased patio furniture seat cushions. Posted price showed item as clearance. Immediately after checkout noticed we were charged the full price and then returned to cashier for correction. Cashier sent us to Customer Service (at the other end of the store).
I took a picture of the clearance item tag and presented it to the Customer Service rep. Customer Service pointed out that the discount was for a different item.
I challenged that because the price tag clearly described the item and was posted on the shelf with the items. and I stated I thought the sales price should be honored.
The Customer Service Rep stated she didn't do it and that I should talk nicer to her.
I completed the return of the items and got a return receipt.
I asked for a manager and her name. The Customer Service Rep placed her hand over her name tag and told me "You go find a manager they would be wandering throughout the store somewhere."
I then proceeded back into the store and had another associate page for a manager.
The manager came to the front of the store and when we informed her of the situation, she then proceeded to tell us we should treat people better and that it is all about respect and then grabbed her name tag and declared her name is Zoe. and then dismissed out of hand.
I found out the Customer Service rep name is Zaya.
I found the whole situation to be very odd and disturbing and very offensive and humiliating.
I have been a long-standing customer of Lowes and at this particular Lowes (2dn Street, Edmond, OK) for over 12 years. I have never been treated like this ever before.
Where do you go for problem resolution if not customer service and or store management?
What does Customer Service Mean at Lowes? To refuse service and challenge customers on their behavior?
What is the purpose of Store management? To Dress down customers, reprimand customers, and challenge customers and instruct customers on behavior?
Desired outcome: I would like a personal apology.I would like to be reassured that Customer Service is truly serving the customer and Management is truly leading and clearly representing an earnest effective effort at problem resolution.
craftsman riding mower
I have a 3-year-old riding mower with broken deck, went to Lowes to repair it since I had an extended warranty with a year left. Lowes picked it up we waited over a month and went to Lowes for an update. The mower was not fixed they said the repair would cost more than the mower was worth. All they would do was drop it back at our house still broken.

Bought a new applaince set from lowes in london kentucky on april of 2021. They informed me it had to he ordered and would take awhile to come in. I took possesion in august of 2021 and purchesed the assurant warranty from lowes. Now may 25 2023 the compressor goes completely out on my fridge. I called the warranty they said we will send out a tech. Guy shows up and notified me the compressor was bad and he doesnt service those. So i called lowes and informed them so they sent out another technician who gave the same diagnosis and he doesnt service them either. So i reached out to lowes again and they sent out a third technician who comfirmed compressor is bad and he doesnt service them. All of this required 3 days off work. So i called lowes back and informed them and they tried to send the first technician out again. I told them no i wanted a replacment so they escallated it to the research team to find me a technician. Not to my suprise they never found one either so. So they approved me to find my own technician which i coudlnt find one that did compressors. So i reached back out and they wanted to send the first technician back out and escallated my claim again its now june 22 almost a month with no refridgerator and they still wont offer to assist me in any way that helps they keep tryinf to send the first technician back out.
Desired outcome: I want a new refridgerator or to be reimbursed to buy a new one

Shopping at Martell, Ca. online, found the perfect white screen door. Put it in my cart and paid immediately. $170.00
Going back checking my order noticed SC (South Carolina) HUH? Tried to address the situation immediately but was not able to. I cannot believe I made such a mistake.
Long story short, Lowes SC just deposited my payment. $170.00.
Is there any way they could ship the screen door selected? Or is it enroute? I'll pay the shipping if necessary. At the time of my order, it apparently went to SC web site because it was at the SC location.
Hopefully my HUGE mistake can be remedied. I'm so sorry.

Ariens Razor Lawnmower
My husband and I purchased an Arien lawnmower on March 30, 2023 from Lowe's along with the extended warranty.The lawnmower wasn't working properly, so we took it to Lowe's and had to exchange it on April 3, 2023 for another Arien lawnmower. My husband was mowing a lawn and the blade fell off. That was dangerous and disrupted his task of mowing the lawn. He used tools to place the blade back on. A few minutes later, as he was mowing the lawn the wheel came off. He had to once again stop. This has been an inconvenience. We took the lawnmower to Lowe's to get a refund on June 4, 2023. They told us we couldn't get one that we had to contact Arien for the warranty procedure. We had to then purchase another lawnmower that day (June 4, 2023) because the lawns had to be done. We don't want the Arien lawnmower anymore and it has truly been a struggle to have spent this much money on lawmowers. My husband and I are loyal Lowe's customers.
Desired outcome: We would like a full refund of the Arien lawmower returned on his Lowe's card and we would like to return the mower back to Lowe's.
New Craftsman Lawn Tractor Delivered to Customer and will not start.Help!
On 6/20/23 I purchased a Craftsman Lawn Tractor from the Pottstown, PA.
It was delivered today, and it will not start. The LED display shows LOW BATT and only clicks.
Called the Pottstown Store and when getting a person, I was passed to three folks and finally talked to the Manager there @ 2:30 today and told him of the situation I was in. He stated he was with a customer; took my info and said he would call me back.
This has been a real let down, I purchased the Craftsman 3400 ,54' cut tractor for my son and now he is unable to use it as intended. I live in VA and am unable to help, other than making the issue known. When I asked the store staff member working in inside garden, he told me that the battery is not warrantied. and that that's were "they" lose their money."
Hopefully MGR Mike will help me out.

Flooring
I spoke to a gentleman that was calling from Service pros. He was not really a person I wanted to speak to, but I did have a problem with him based on the fact that he states he stated he could give me $100 gift card to buy caulking to fix underneath my door jams that were cut too high that that’s all that needed to be done. I stated I did not want no hundred dollar gift card to repair the damages that were done to my door jams that need to be fixed and corrected.
During our recorded conversation, I did tell him that Matt who was sent here to do my flooring has charge me $250 cash to do my baseboards and that Matt was the one who needed to correct his damages that he did to my door jams. I also stated I spoke to my cousin when she came to visit about a couple questions I could not understand in my contact because I was looking at taking Matt to court (not lowes or service pros) for the $250 cash he had us pay him for putting in base board for that is not a job of Lowes. The gentleman I was speaking to stated he could no longer talk to me for I had a consultation with a lawyer, which she never even let me explain that she was here visiting me For she’s my relative and that she’s a child support lawyer, not a lawyer lawyer and that taking Matt to court was not part of Lowe’s contract are part of Lowes. Appliances purchased
So I purchased a set of Maytag Washer & dryer was selivered and set up, well the washer ran on regular cycle for 1 hour didnt release detergant nor fabric softner. Called for exchange delivery finally brought out a different set which was Whirlpool, the set up the washer but said they couldnt hook up dryer with old vent, left it in the middle of my hallway and never even plugged it in to see if it worked, Well after contacting Customer service I was told I had to hire a handy man to install a new vent, which I did I purchased a new vent and hired a handyman to install which was a $100 so after the installation was done dryer was put in place and plugged in, well the dryer didnt work at all! So going back and fourth with Customer Service, Store Manager and delivery a new order was placed for a plain GE set. Delivery was set for Friday June 16th after 4:00 pm which All of us agreed to due to me not being there in the morning, well I get a call from delivery that morning saying they will be at my home at 10:00 am which I explained that Customer Service and Delivery both confirmed it to be delivered after 4:00 pm so of course another lie from Lowes! then they said it was rescheduled to early Saturday morning to which was another lie, ended up recieving it on Sunday 18th after 12, which ruined Fathers Day plans, delivery came and tore out my newly installed vent, put tape over my camera at the door they came in at and the dryer has a big dent and scratches which I have pictures and also complained to delivery person, Customer Service and Statesville store manager, All they say is oh somebody will call me back, well nobody has called. I called spoke with several Personal and still nothing! On June 20th I get a call asking where the Whirlpool set was, explained that the delivery people took it when they exchanged for the GE WELL THEY DONT SEEM TO KNOW WHERE IT IS. I have called everyday asking for the District Manager's information but was told they cant give it to me. Lowes Customer Service, Delivery and Management are the worst people I have ever dealt with. My next step is getting in touch with CEO, IFMY PROBLEM ISNT RESOLVED IMMEDIATELY! Also delivery person calling my personal cell begging my to give him a glowing review twice, when he knows and seen and did the damage to my home and possibly the scratches and dents on my dryer.
Desired outcome: COMPENSATION FOR ALL THE TROUBLE , THE LYING , DELIVERY , DAMAGES AND HAVING TO PAY FOR THE VENT HOSE BEING TORE OUT , THE DAMAGE TO THE DRYER .
Customers dog scratched work truck
We are an installation company for Lowes/ Handy. We arrived at a customers home on 3/8/23 at our scheduled time and the homeowners dog jumped up on the side of one of our work trucks repeatedly causing multiple scratches. Lowes stated this was a Handy issue however we are on a Lowes install. We received a claim #[protected] from Suzy Brunton and from a woman named Stephanie from the escalation department. I have reached out numerous times by email and have left Suzy Brunton numerous phone messages and have yet to get a response. We did what we had asked and provided pics, received a quote for the repair and now we are being ignored. Can someone assist?
