I purchased the shower unit from Lowe's on 4/13/23 for $287.89. It was delivered about a week after and it was installed on 5/24/23 by a professional licensed plumber. As soon as it was installed, there was an issue with the water pressure and the unit was making a loud noise. The situation persisted and I contacted the company (AKDY) to notify them of the issue within a week of it being installed. After further research, I realized that this has been an ongoing issue as many people have complained on the Lowe's website. I requested the company send another unit or I would return and get a refund as the unit is defective. I have various emailed back & forth from the company where they are requesting, I keep fixing different things on the unit to fix the problem. This is a NEW item, and they want me to fix the problem. I hired the plumber again to "fix" what the company stated needed to be fixed. The issues continued. The plumber provided a note, pictures and video letting the company know that the unit is defective. The responds from them was another suggestion on how to fix the problem. Which would force me to again pay a plumber. They are continuing to sell this shower tower knowing full well that it has problems. They are also refusing to allow me to return the item, even though I requested to return within 45 days of receiving the delivery. This company is deliberately selling damage product and misleading customers. I have proof of purchase, plumber services and email exchange with the company. LOWE'S continues to sell this even though there have been complaints. I have filed a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
Desired outcome: I want a refund. This product is defective and poor quality.
