I bought a garbage disposal and paid for installation last week. I asked how long installation would be. I was told usually it is a week or so.
I was not told you farm it out to a 3rd party so I was surprised when I got a "text" from Angi telling me they would be installing my replacement. They said it would be 2 months to install. Obviously, you can't wait 2 months when you have a "leaky" garbage disposal. That's the only reason we are replacing the old one.
I wait 13 minutes on hold trying to get in touch with the manager at Lowe's in Franklin, Ky. Try that. sit there for 13 minutes and see how long that really is. That is unacceptable. So, I decide to call Angi and guess what...they referred me to the actual installer, Renovations Plus.
I bought 4 appliances from Lowes in 2020. Everything was great, even with damaged goods delivered. This is absurd and anyone with common sense can see that. Lowe's needs some serious customer service training at this store and I'm sure in others. If I do not hear from you in a timely fashion, I will just return my garbage disposal, let others know the comedy show this has been and go somewhere else that puts the customer first.
Desired outcome: Immediate installation of my new garbage disposal and an apology for this insane chain of events and how I've been treated.
