My husband and I purchased a shed through Lowe's in Nov 2020. It was installed in Jan 2021. We believed that since Lowe's is a brand named company they would send us a contractor that was reliable. Well two years later the shed is leaking from the roof and it has sustained water damage due to the roof not being installed properly. Ok, the warranty is over for labor but then trying to obtain assistance for the materials warranty has proven to be non-responsive. I understand that the product is under warranty through the company that provided it, but they too have been unresponsive. I have already filed a complaint with the BBB and am awaiting the results of that investigation. My husband and I have since separated and they do not want to adhere to their warranty because "my ex-husband was the one who placed the order". That is unacceptable. While I'm fighting with them the damage is only getting worse. Again, Lowe's is supposedly a well known company but they are not standing by the products they sell.
Desired outcome: I just want the materials to repair the damage. I will pay to have someone do the work but I don't think I should have to not only pay for the work to be performed but to buy the materials too.
