Salesman attitude
I recently bought a diamond set from Malabar gold Mina Bazaar branch and had a good experience.
Later i went today to have small modification on the set and the salesman named Naveen Bansal took 3 hours and came back with a faulty adjustment.
When i spoke to him he misbehaved and started laying and screaming. I was planning to buy another diamond set and a diamond ring but left the store storming and angry.
Not going back to Malabar with such a saleman attitude. I am not sure if this complaint is of any use either.

Purchase a diamond ring from your store in muscat around 4years back. This morning I notice 4 diamonds missing. I have moved out of muscat but I will be in India (pune) on 20th of December 2018. As I was told by your store in muscat that of the diamond goes missing it will be repaired by any store . Wanted to confirm if I could get it from pune branch
Misbehaviour
We went to your Thiruvalla branch today to select ornaments and pay advance for the occasion of my sister wedding. On the billing my self I found some errors so I ask to change some modification on submitted bill. One of your staff take me to the showroom in charge. The showroom in charge Mr. Liju is talking me like that I make a big mistake that I asked him to modify the bill. His behaviour is not like he don't want to deal with us. it's a bad impression created with Malabar gold
Diamond uncut ring
Dear Sir / MAdam
I purchased an uncut diamond from Malabar Gold & Diamonds, Qatar, Lulu Hypermarket branch two months back.
The main stone and a small diamond stone came off the ring and when complained to the Jewellery, they are not willing to replace the stone free of cost.
Kindly take immediate action on this and either en cash the whole amount or replace the stone free of cost.
From such reputed jewellery, we dont expect such low quality products.
Kindly find attched receipts and please make immediate follow up.
Please dont break the customer trust on your product.
Horrible service provided
I have bought few items from the above mentioned jewellery which is in Palakkad kerala. I have never seen this horrible service anywhere.I wanted to exchange an item what I have bought before day. The way the sales men treated us was very bad. The moment they got to know it was an exchange they were saying wait now.. Will arrange a person to show things and I have been waiting for more than 2 hours there just to see few more items to exchange as there is no return policy(as they said). Finally had to leave from there with the same product.I just want to tell you that if it's exchange or new purchase it our money .. So it's your duty to take care of customers complaints.. Horrible experience and will never do any purchase from Malabar gold.

There is non attendance of customers in tumkur karnataka branch...i waited for 25 mins no one attended us...we want to purchase 100 grams of gold to my family...can you people give back our precious 25 mins...if possible give our time back..

Order number [protected] was placed & paid in advance (using Amazon Pay) Rs.3449/-before delivery of product. Order was placed on dated 21st Jul, 2018 for Malabar Gold & diamond 1 gm 24k (999) yellow gold Precious coin. Which is still not received with me for tracker ID [protected]. Every week status of the said order was getting delayed. First delivery date was 04th Aug, 2018 & now second delivery date is 9th Aug, 2018 showing over amazon website with remarks " We are sorry your package is late. if it hasn't arrived by Friday 10th Aug, 2018. Please come back for more option."
Request to please do the needful to above & update on said order number. As Rs.3449/- are freely used or enjoyed by someone from last 17 days which may be consider as a fraudulent case with customer. As far as my knowledge regarding Malabar Gold & Diamond and their market status such case may or may not be happen from their end, but my money is utilizing by someone from last 17 days.

I visited with my Family to the Malabar Gold & Diamond, Himayathnagar, and Hyderabad branch on 29/07/2018. We purchased 2 chains and one earrings set, and the bill was around Ra.50, 000/-. And we want to buy one more earrings set to purchase, so we asked the sales person to show some other earrings models.
But we don't know what happened; all of sudden the sales person told us, we can't show you other models, you can leave now and come tomorrow to see the models and it was around 7PM - 7:30PM. I was shocked completely and asked that sales person why what happened? Why you are asking us leave? We are thinking to buy one more earrings set. Then the sales person and branch manager given some stupid reason that there are some other people who want to seat in the place we sat.
I was surprised how rude they told us leave to vacate the seats. And there was no crowed also in the showroom. I told the sales person and manager that arrange some other place for them, because of them why you are asking us leave? There is no rule that if some other people came to shop, then people who already in, should leave the shop. We dropped the thought to purchase one more item, because of their attitude towards us.
When I checked at billing and checkout counter there is no review or complaint form, no one is there to ask how customer felt about service. Manager is not even felt any responsibilities towards customer, they need simply money, that's it.
I never faced this type of situation and attitude towards customer with Malabar from last 6 years. It was so worst and bad situation, and service I experienced with Malabar, Himayathnagar, and Hyderabad branch.
If you (Malabar) people are not capable enough to handle the customer with respect and politely, then don't invite the people to visit your showroom to purchase.

our platinum wedding rings 😭😭😭
We Visited Malabar store in lulu old airport. Designs and quality are really respectable.
We found our "this is it rings" in that store. We bought it and we are really happy! 😀They informed that its free resizing and we can even change color for free of charge. We bought the rings even its a bit expenssive knowing that will be the symbol our our love for each other.
The nightmare comes when we resize the rings. I sent to them in a awesome figure for "resizing" and what they did is reshaping😭It doesnt look nice the new shape now. I looks very cheap. I trusted Maalabar with this. 😩I want the same figure before. Even the design behind it should have returned back to its original figure. This is breech of the design from Malabar. The one took from the small on will be added to big one. It needs to be 17.
If it needs to be back to its manufacturer, then
Bring back to uae if possible.
Staffs kept telling, "it is fine" "no problem"😣 but for us big problem.
For you it is not a BIG problem. But for me as your costumer, you ruined my wedding ring😭😭😭 we are hope you understand our very sad situation.

service and behavior
This is in regards to the Ill treatment, misbehavior and argument by the sales person at Al Watan center, HBK signal in Doha, Qatar.. he was not paying attention to me and was busy attending other malayali speaking customer who came later than me. which indicates that Malabar gold promotes racism, poor and ill treated customer service.. no other staff was available to attend me and they showed least interest in attending me.
The on duty manager and Nigil were attending me however after every two minutes they were changing the customers and asking me to go to some other sales man. This indicates Lack of dedication towards customers Both the manager and NiGil were rude and raised their voices inspite of me asking them to stop arguing as i was fasting and they drained down my energy.
I would like to ask the country manager of Malabar gold and the whole Malabar gold team that werher they suppprt such type of culture of rudeness, racism and misbehavior ?
I would also like to ask if Malabar gold staff will provide good customer service only to Malayalam speaking customers or to all customers ?
I hope this email will be acknowledged and I will receive a prompt response from the top management.
poor service and unprofessional staff
I went to Malabar Gold, in Lulu Mall along with my wife (who is physically challenged as of now due to an accident) and my daughter on 10.0318 evening. We were kept waiting in the counter for quite some time in attended though there was no rush in the Store. When a salesman came without wasting time I selected a earring to be presented to someone and I asked the price of the same. The salesman informed me it would cost around Rs 8700, so I agreed and without wasting time went for payment. At the time of payment instead of giving discounts like normal jewelry the same Salesman Mr Jijo informed me that the amount to be paid is 9700 Ie 1000 Rs more than what I was told. I informed the matter to supervisory staff and store manager present there, I have even written the same in my feed back. This sort of casual attitude towards customers is going to cause the reputation of your firm. The whole staff was very careless and less empathetic even towards a lady walking with crutches, it is requested to take needful action on erring staff especially Mr Jijo for making fun of our sentiments please. They were apologetic only when I asked for complaint register, I doubt they will throw away my feedback as well. On 9.2.2018 I visited malabar outlet @mega mall sharajah, I bought a gold ring
I visited the outlet morning around 10.30 am... And within few minutes the salesman asked us to hurry up as they have some maintancence work etc. So, we selected a ring and did the card transcation for the same. And then the saleman told us the system is having some techniqual issues as a result we will not be getting the system generated bill.
And asked us to collect the bill by 1 hour, once we are done with shopping and we trusted 'malabar' and came back afternoon to collect the bill. But it was a different scenario as the staff were different and we were trying to explian them the whole story that happened..
There wetre almost 3 to 4 staffs. And a philipno lady staff attended us, she was trying to convince us again to leave and come later on...
It really made me upset and I asked her whether this is customer service...?
Then she called the morning staff and and inquired and got the barcode and made a manual bill and gave me.
I also asked her to send me the system generated bill via email once the system is ready. And called up the outlet twice for the same.
But, till now I dint receive the mail... How come staff collect money if the system was not working, and how come staff work without having any professional communications...
I had a really bad experience, I used to be a regular customer of malabar back in kerala and qusais branch (lulu mall)
But, no more malabar gold and diamond...! Really upset..!

uncut diamond bracelet
I was employed in Qatar for 17 years and left Qatar on 8th February, 2017.
Before leaving Qatar, I purchased an uncut diamond bracelet from Malabar Gold situated in Lulu Hypermarket, C-Ring Road, Doha, for my daughter.
They gave me a guarantee card saying that it can be exchanged within 15 days in any of their branches. Since my daughter did not like the design, I went with my family to Malabar Gold, Trivandrum Branch in Kerala within 15 days. They told me that diamonds are costly in Qatar but cheap in India and therefore offered only 60% of the Qatar value. Please see that they do not cheat other customers. Also please check whether their diamonds are fake or genuine.

I am venkat i have orderd one customized gold ring in online they promise me delivered on Oct-8 i have received email from the team on 5th Oct its not final product and also they are not manufactured as per the requirement I spoke to manager so many times he is try to convince me he is not do any favour and he is not try to fix the issue.
I am requested the manager if not possible to manufacture as per my requirement please cash back he said as per the policy he is not refund the money and also he is not able to manifacture the ring as per requirement also what is the solution for this prob.

diamond exchange
I purchased Dimond ring from Malabar Gold and Diamonds, Qatar on 9th September 2017. At the time of purchase, sales man told that we can exchange the ornaments at any of their branch in India within 15 days without paying a single rupee for the same weight. So I bought the diamond ring as per his assurance.
But unfortunately, those were large for me to wear. For exchanging the ring, my wife went to Malabar Gold and Diamonds, Thrissur branch on 11th September 2017 (2 days of purchase).and produced the diamond ring, Original bill and purity certificate also but the salesman and Manager told that they can not exchange the diamond ring.

I have been a regular customer of Malabar stores in Muscat since my arrival there 4 years ago. There are a few issues which I would like to raise which, I think, are important to consider by the Malabar administration.
Malabar has two stores in the Seeb main street of Muscat. There is also one big store in Oman Avenues Mall of Muscat and some more stores in Ruwi. What I have notices is that the Seeb store staff try to charge higher making charges on gold items than all other stores. Let me explain further. I went to one of the Seeb stores and waned to buy a two pair of earrings. I was attended to by an Indian staff member. When I asked about the price of the earrings, I noticed that it was unusually high. So I took out my calculator and asked about the gold price on that day, the gram weight of the earrings and then I looked at the making charges written on the tag attached to the earrings. When he saw me calculating, I noticed that he became uneasy. When I showed him the price I cam up with, he said that he had given me the best price and he could not go down. I pointed to the making charges which were printed on the label and told him to do the math. He answer me that these making charges are for EACH earring separately. I said I do not really understand what he is talking about and that I am not really new to buying gold. I made it very clear that I was not ignorant about how prices are calculated. I also pointed out that other Malabar stores go down on making charges when they see that a regular customer comes to the store. Only when his colleagues came around and started listening to what I was saying did he redo his math and who me the new price on the calculator without saying a word. I bought one pair of earrings that day, but I swore myself never to go to Seeb again. I also advised my colleagues and friends to avoid these stores there. The customer service I received there assured me that I was about to be cheated. This behaviour was unethical and should be stopped by the administration by warning their staff against ever doing this. When Indian customers are served, the treatment and negotiation of prices is far different from other that other non-Indian customers receive.
The best customer service is to be found in the Ruwi stores in Muscat with some minor exceptions.

When he said to me that the making charges were for EACH earring, I said that I am very much aware that the making charges are per gram and not for the pair of earrings since the earrings were more than six grams in weight. I also made it clear that I had done my math based on his, and he had charged me much more making charges than were due. He continued arguing that he had given me the correct price. I was frankly shocked by such an attempt at trying to charge me much more than what the real price was. The difference in price was over 23 Omani Rials.

We purchased a 50 g gold bar almost 2 months back and when i am going to sell Malabar gold deduct the 4% from the total amount and said this is company policy. When selling the bar no one mentioned the return policy. So means this investment is not a investment at all. You need to pay making charges certification charges. And while returning they are not pay all of that +4 percent deduction. Really disappointed and a lesson not to buy again.
white gold ring wrongly charged for wrong weight

I Bought a white gold finger ring for my engagement ceremony the ring i purchased was 95omr.Gw-3.83gms, and when i weighted the ring after purchase it was only 3.74 gms.Upon raising the issue the manager incharge he consessened me with .800 baiza and recorrected the invoice himself by hand written on a computer generaed invoice. which i dont think is at all ethical. coz 3.83gms ring price is 95omr and for short of 80 miligrams they just concessened me with .800 baiza, it is a complete fraudulant act. the manger incharge try me convince me by saying i will raise this issue to the head office etc etc. But at the end me as a customer i had to suffer. and just before few days i puchased a necklace from the same store they should atleast acknowledge a loyal customer and should not make such frauds with them. therefore would be hard for me to trust at any malabar outlet in future.Thank you

I had bought a necklace from malabar gold on August 16 and used only for 2 hours in onam festival, after that i kept in the same gold box . Then after 2 months while checking gold it was broken .i cant understand their quality of making 40 gram gold is not a feather touch stuff, and i was so disappointed their attitude towards customer
i went to them for this they said nothing can do, may can repair still risk is there.

I bought a diamond ring and earrings from Sharjah airport branch on 22 Feb 2016, from the ring one diamond has dropped may be due to malfunctioning from your side that diamond was not fixed properly. Now the ring is look so odd one cannot wear that.
I need the solution how to return or to be replaced from your side. As i got surety from sales person that this problem will not happen.
Now i am in Pakistan and here Malabar has no outlet. Please provide me solution on urgent basis.
