received a call about a balance on an invoice with maple call that I never heard of
I received a voice message on May 31, 2019, from a customer representative named Remus on behalf of Maple Call about a balance of an invoice. I called back on June 3rd and spoke to another customer representative explaining that we do not know any Maple call company and we never had an agreement with them. They said that Blutone company we had our international calls before went out of business and they took over. I told him that we found out about it because suddenly we had to pay through Fido, our local provider, a lot of money for the international calls. The guy went on and on saying that we have 123$ balance to pay.
I can't understand how is this possible here in Canada to be scammed like this? Why is our confidential information used by a company that we never spoke to nor agreed to do business with? If anyone from Maple Call reads this please stop harassing people!If you take over a company the first thing to do is to call every customer and make sure they want to do business with you!

I don't know who Maple Call Inc is, but they seem to think that I am their customer. I have not made a long distance call in over 2 years, yet I received 2 invoices for two of my lines for over $50 each! When I tried to contact them, no one answers, but they are quick to call me and threaten me to pay my bills?!? STOP SCAMMING and HARASSING people!
accumulated bill / invoice I never sign up for
I got a invoice/bill form Maple Call Inc. last week amounting to $44.98. First of all I never sign up for this company, so I called them to ask about this bill, the guy told be that the bill is when I used NECC long distance service last December 2018 amounting to $12.63 and since the NECC is no longer exist the are now collecting payment and providing the long distance services.
Every time I use NECC for my long distance I paid right away, so i don't have any outstanding balance from them. NECC and Maple Call Inc never informed me in writing about this changes to those company with regards to my acount with NECC. I never received any mail from NECC about their company issue or any outstanding balance with NECC. And now they're giving me a $44.98 bill and if I don't pay it, it will going up.
I would like to remove my personal information to Maple Call Inc. I never sign up for them.

I was NECC customer for years but canceled my account back in December paying my last bill.
In January, invoice came from Maple Call (?) with a total due: 18.53Cad but Amount Enclosed: "DO NOT PAY ", two months later another bill from Maple Call that I owe them 36.98Cad, after a quick research on Google, found out that Maple Call took over NECC customers (I guess previous customers as well) .
They even emailed me that I owe them money, I replied back advising I canceled my account with NECC . They send me another invoice for 51.54Cad...in the description
that this is a total for their fees...even when I was NECC customer, I was paying for each call per minute, there were no other fees.
I have never sighed up with Maple Call for any services, they should have contacted me and ask if I would like to be their client, they should have explained that they got my contact info from NECC which bankrupt. This is unacceptable.
I also tried to call them but was on hold for over 1hour and disconnected.
internet calling services
The company started sending me an invoices for some charges which I have not registered for and agreed with. The company seems the took my info from another internet calling company and started using it without any consent from my side. I have paid some 25 dollars earlier which I thought a backlog from previous company and now again recieving another 16 dollars bill and I'm not using any of their services. Please help on reporting a fraudulent complaint against this company and stop those invoices.

More important detail is that calling [protected] leads you nowhere: an auto response message tells you to call 'another day' and the call is simply disconnected.

I left Canada on October 2018 and canceled my line with the company that I had at time, Bluetone, and now I received three letters asking for due payments from January to march. I´ve never had any contract with Maple Call and how is this possible? I tried calling in Costumer Service, but I was put on standby for more than 30 minutes, since I´m calling from europe, I just hung up.

I do not have any agreement and/or contract with Maple Call and I keep receiving invoices for services I never requested. After NECC has disappeared I switched my long distance to another phone company; never used Maple Call for any phone services. The balance amount owned to NECC was paid in full therefore I consider that Maple Call is abusing former NECC customers.
Telephone billing
Rip off company, sent me a bill indicating I didn't pay my bill checked my bank records. Paid over five weeks before receiving my statement. Now they acknowledgement I sent them a payment. Sent me another bill when I cancelled their service two months ago. Keep sending me a bill for balance forward bill. Impossible to pay them, on time with a bill. When you get the bill you have two days to pay them. There only payment method by mailing them a cheque, overcourse by the time they get the payment its late and you get another balance forward bill. Does this sound like a ponzi scam. No other payment methods available. The phone company from hellllllll.

Never was a customer for Maple Call Inc. They claim that they took over from NECC; however, I never signed up with Maple Call Inc. (or received any terms and conditions). Nevertheless, I received a bill. I called now three times and actually reached someone. I told them that I didn't sign up for the service and I don't want their service. I also informed them, that I will not pay for a service I didn't sign up to. However, I still receive bills from the company, which is now borderline harassment. This is not proper business practice and I would like to see this company investigated for improper business practice.

I would like to report to the Burau shady business practises utilized by MapleCall Inc. in regards with treatment of my personal and financial information.
From the beginning of this year I started to receive invoices from MapleCall Inc. for phone charges with details such as account number, my name and address, additional charges etc. I've never been in communication with this company before neither I've signed any type of formal customer agreement. I tried to call the company's main number, but every time an automated voice was suggesting me to call back again another time since they were experiencing a high call volume at the moment. From my own research I found that MapleCall Inc. took over the former NECC Telecom Inc., which I used as a long-distance call provider in the past, but even if this is the case I've never been officially approached my MapleCall to discuss their new business offerings after the supposed take-over. To make things worse my personal and financial information is apparently used without my consent for other than intended purposed by MapleCall Inc.
I would like the Berau to investigate the matter and take the necessary measures to prevent further abuse of my personal and financial information by MapleCall Inc. and invalidate all the charges company constantly requests from me to be paid.

On April 17, 2019 I received the e-mail from Maple call that I have overdue balance on the account.
First- I never use the maple call service
Second- I use the NECC service for my long distance call from my land line [protected] until October 25, 2018. The line was cancelled and I have not received any notification by e-mail about balance. At the time of the cancellation agent inform me that I don't have any balance.
Now, today I received the e- mail from Maple call ( from the company I never use service from) that I have past due balance. Not even saying what the amount! I sent them the e-mail explaining, but no answer. They don't pick up the phone or just dropping the call when they do take the phone.

I was a client of NECC telecom - long distance telephone service provided for years. Without notice NECC telecom appears to have dissolved and they were taken over by a different company MapleCall inc.
At no point in time, I received a notice of this transition or request for approval to have my personal information transferred from NECC telecom to MapleCall inc.
Also, at no point in time, I was asked if I was willing to change providers, especially since their (MapleCall inc) services fees are different than what I used to pay with NECC telecom.
I never agreed to any of these!
In March I requested MapleCall inc. to have my account closed since I don't feel comfortable having my personal information passed from one company to another without my consent or notice.
In April I received another bill from Maple Call.

I dont recall or recognize this company. And I never made or contacted them some how the hijacked my account and start billing me every month the bill increases by around $20. Since 3 month I closed my service call from neec and switch to telus long distance. Also i'm using facebook messenger or whatsapp to do my long distance calls.
This illegal to take customer without their knowledge. I'm not paying even a penny

On january 26 I got call which said that my long distance provider was vollo call.on february 2 I got bill from maple leaf which I have never heard of before .
Tried to call Maple Call multiple times without success.
Today I got new bill with just fee, I switched to Startec for my long distance in february.
Somehow maple call got data from blue tone, I do not believe that is legal, and when I checked who my long distance provider was it was never Maple Call, so how can they can send me bills?
I tried to contact blue tone, it looks that they are out of business.

I received a charge from this company claiming a service to me what didn't happen . I call after first notice on 01/09 /19 and after 45 min waiting guy help to close an account, with no service to that account.

I used to be with Pulse, then NECC took over then now this Maple call inc. Who are these companies...I waited for 15mins on hold till i got my turn ...I actually got to customer service...this guy named Phillip as soon as i gave him the Acc number because he asked he said don't mind those charges I took them off ...when i said how come we didn't get any notifications he did reply...I think it's scam because on his background i heard dog barks and i hang up... police should investigate on this .
