It's clear that every one has the same problem: receiving invoices from a company that we never signed up with or signed any form of contract.
Cannot get through on the customer service line they provide and their website shows as risky and do not attempt by McAfee.
I received an invoice/bill 89032839 from this company I never heard had any agreement or business and
Without any notice from Maple Call I received an invoice #[protected] with reference to Account #[protected] which I never have any business. The invoice was sent to my previous address I changed two years ago, therefore, this company has used for scam old address. I tried to call this company several days at 1-877-974-7494 shown on bill but never had a connection with this fake company
I would like to cancel any bill from this company and stop its illegal business
Last November 2019 I called NECC to stop my long distance service because they put Currie charges which I did recognize. They tried to be good customer service and apologized and put credit on my account some $21 they calculate all the charges and credit to me so my account was negative $21 to use for another month instead I ask them to close my account and end my service.
Last February 2019 I received bill from Maple call inc which I never recognized or recall . No website or online . Tried to call them to inquire what is this $24bill. No response even after 45 min and one time someone responded and when I started to inquire him he said to me Sir just pay the $24 by check to us and no more billing. He suddenly hang on me . This month April 2019 I received new bill with $40 late charges. Hello how can you bill me while I'm Telus customer for the last 3 months long distance calls . This illegal business. All what they're trying to do steal some money from nice people who don't like trouble. Please don't pay any penny for them they are illegal. And if you pay them you're helping them to keep stealing others
invoice for long distance service that was cancelled in march 2018 and not used since.
I was a long time customer with Necc for my long distance calls (account number 230970) and cancelled the service with Necc in March 2018 because I did not need it anymore. I received a last invoice in April 2018 which was paid automatically.
In January 2019 I received an invoice from Maple call inc. of $9.18 without telling me who they were and why I was charged for nothing. I tried to reach them by phoning the customer service number but the line was busy all the time and a registered voice said to call another day. I did not even know who this company is and thought it was a fraud account. In February I received another invoice of the same amount plus the amount of the first invoice, still without explanation. I tried to call the customer service again to no avail.
What do I have to do to stop these invoices from arriving at my door without having anything to do with this company? I absolutely have no need for a long distance provider and want this problem to be solved sooner that later.

I was informed by phone that this company was taking over my long distance services from my previous company - necc telecom - under the same conditions. But when I got the first invoice they almost double the price per min and added and keep adding charges never sow before on my necc invoices. When I tried to contact them the answer was: try another day. Unbelievable answer for a customer service. So, instead of cad 6.30 I expected they ask for cad 24.50 which I will never pay.
Conclusion: no customer service, grossly incressed rates, mistery charges are more then enough reasons to drop this company as along distance provider. Is exactly what I did.

Starting Jan 2019 I begin to receive invoices from Maple Call Inc - company I never deal, create agreement or choose as my long distance provider. I don't even have a land line. I was using NECC telecom as "internet dialing provider"- so no fees unless I call. I stopped using it at the end of 2017 and paid off all amounts.
Now I received another invoice from Maple Call Inc. and I have a feeling they will keep coming. Of course- there is no chance I will pay single cent at all. I'm writing this message in hope this issue will be resolved and if not- I will consult a lawyer. I was dormant (not using) customer of blue tone long distance company for years. They offered me to stay dormant until I want to use them, and for that I was not charged at all. A month ago I received a bill from maplecell informing me that I owe them almost nine dollars for a zero usage (admin fee only). I tried calling them numerous times to cancel (still not sure what since I did not sign up with them at all), but every time I called same message and no one to talk to - just a disconnect. Another month has passed and I received another bill from them for another nine dollars... Still trying and still can't get any answer fro the company. This feels like entrapment with no way out.

Of the sudden I receive invoices indicating that I use their service and I have a previous balance and an account number etc.
They charge for calls internationally and they also have other fees such as International's Discount fee of $4.99, Carrier cost of $1.86 and operational charge $2.99

About a month ago I phoned them as well, because I had issues with my invoice that time too. On my next statement $2. 99 was charged for the call plus more charges what was promised not to charge that again.
Now I want to cancel everything ...then I find out that I'm not able to because I can't find anything to do that ...

I've been receiving bills from MapleCall for services that I never signed up or agreed to. I've notified the company of the situation several times via email and received nothing except an automated response.
All attempts to contact MapeCall via the phone have failed (its a closed loop answering system where every option leads to "calls us back another day" message)

Received an invoice of $117. I am not a customer of this company nor signed any contract with them. Actually it is the first time I ever hear of them. Their invoice contains my personal information from a different company. I have tried to contact the customer service but nobody responded.
I have submitted a complaint to the Ontario Telecom board and BBB.

I am trying to contact this company since one week. They do not answer to the phone and do not replay to emails. After the last invoice I received when I did not use at all their services I change my long distance carrier to Videotron along with all the others services. I send several email messages to maple call and I tried to contact them by phone but no answer from them. I notified them that starting on the march 8-th 2019. And that the last charge of $ 10.23 for what they call "other fees " is abusive . my maplecall account is [protected]

I used to have long distance with Pulse Telecom.
On February 6th, at 19:10 I got a voice message saying "Dear Customer, Maple Telecom will now bill you for the long distance service as your previous provider is out of the business".
On February 12th, I got a bill of $14.71 from Maple Call, not from Maple Telecom. It was due on due on February 14th but it was issued on January 21st. I did not pay this since I never had an agreement with this "provider". Today, March 8th, I got a second invoice of $23.73 which is made of previous balance plus Other Fees of $9.02
This is stressful!
What is this scam? How can we disconnect long distance provider from the landline phone?

I was with Necc telecom and all of a sudden I get a bill at home for $53. I called them to cancel after paying the 50 something $ and now I get another bill for 30 something $... I never called this company to get their services... how is that write that when one shuts down some gost company takes over and overcharges like crazy... my bill used to be under $20 and now I get 2 for over $80? This is ridiculous ... I would like to dispute the charges

On February 2019 i received an invoice of $18.52 dollars from Maplecall Inc. At first, I thought there must be some kind of mistake that I am getting this from a business that I have never heard of before. After a few days, I called the number they provided but I could not get through and tried several days but without success. They never respond to calls. I wanted to inquire about the invoice and who gave them permission to acquire my personal information from my previous long distance call service provider called NECC. Since nobody bothered from maple call tried to explain to me about this invoice I just ignored and forgot about it until on the 06 of March 2019 i got another invoice with DOUBLE the amount of the previous one ($37.33 dollars). I never used the services of this so call company but I am getting harassed by these people. I know this company is NOT genuine. Otherwise, they would have contacted me about this invoice before issuing it.
I am totally disgusted with this company. Somebody must stop them from trying to take advantage of consumers like me.

Overbilled invoice
Hello,
I have received overbilled invoice for $18.27. My original charge was $4.25 and they came up with $18.27 including different other charges. I tried to call numerous times [protected] and I always receive a same message as try again later due to high volume of calls.
I need somebody to look into my invoice and give me explanation what does mean these charges and why I am overcharged so much.

I have been a long time customer of NECC telecom. In January, I by chance found out that they were out of business and bought out by Maple Canada Inc. No notice at all that happened. I got a bill today for other charges of $9.15 that I don't even know what they are. When this happened with NECC they would credit my bill. I phoned Maple Canada Inc today and was told that the lines were busy and they hung up on me. This is NOT the way to treat customers. I understand that the lines are busy but at least give the customer a chance to wait if they choose to. Also, no HST number and no website address makes me wonder if this is a scam. Also, with a due date of March 5, 2019 and just getting it in the mail today March 6th? Something doesn't not seem right. I would like to get this resolved if it's a scam.

I was a client of necc telecom - long distance telephone service provided for years. Without notice, necc telecom appears to have dissolved and they were taken over by a different company maplecall inc. It looks likes this happened on january 1, 2019.
At no point in time, I received a notice of this transition or request for approval to have my personal information transferred from necc telecom to maplecall inc.
Also, at no point in time, I was asked if I was willing to change providers, especially since their (maplecall inc) services fees are different than what I used to pay with necc telecom.in summary, I was automatically signed up for an agreement with 1. A different company, 2. At a higher service fee structure, 3. The credits I had with necc telecom were voided.
I never agreed to any of these!
I did not know of this until february 2019 when I received an invoice in the mail from maplecall inc. This invoice showed an amount due of approximately $10. On the same invoice, it says, "do not pay - your payment will be automatically processed 5 days before due date". I would like to point out that although I had an automatic prepayment plan set up with my previous provider, necc telecom, I did not have one done with the new provided maplecall inc. And therefore I did not pay this invoice.
Fast-forward, on march 1, 2019 I called maplecall inc. To have my account closed since:
1. I was automatically signed up for an agreement, with a higher fee without my consent or notice.
2. I didn't feel comfortable having my personal information passed from one company to another without my consent or notice.
3. For having my bonus / credit ($) with my previous provided (necc telecom) voided by the new provider (maplecall inc.)
Further to this, I would like to add that when I called maplecall inc on march 1, I requested the customer service representative - martin (this is how he introduced himself at the begging of the call) to identify himself with his last name as well. He refused to do so and replied that "martin" should be good enough for me and his last name was not relevant to our conversation. His response concerned me and made me question the transparency of this new company and how all this transition from necc to maplecall was done.
Following the phone call, I started researching the company online and found that other people have been experiencing similar issues
As it stands right now, I have canceled my account with maplecall inc.
I hope these guys get nailed for their shady way of doing business.
