I am sick and tired of being treated like a piece of dirt on someones shoes
I am an employee of mcdonalds in ravenswood, west virginia. I have a complaint about the store manager Sandy West. I will go in as a non working person to get my check and she will literaly throw my check at me. I will go in to work and all I hear is yelling usually at me. I am sure that when I am a customer at the store I work for it isnt right when my store manager yells at me as I am a paying customer. Also, I would like to complain that she takes no responsibility for her mistakes and actions...why...I had to clean up a very big mess to the Frappe machine, i was working the front counter when sandy tells one of the other managers not to worry about it that i can handle this problem...it took me 55 minutes to clean a sopping mess up that she made because she didnt want to dirty her clothing, so she makes me clean it up with NO help and when i asked her if i could clean up she looked at me and sighed an angry sigh and said I supposed we dont want you stinkin up our restauraunt now do we. When we go into a restaurant arent we supposed to be met and greeted with a SMILE? WE are not, usually i am greeted with a glare or a look that says OH SHe is back yay...or what are you doing here...that is the way i feel everytime i come into work or just go into that restauraunt. SHe is rude to me but treates everyone else nicely and I am sick and tired of being treated like a piece of dirt on someones shoes.

I know this email will most likely NEVER be read and really its Pointless writing to a company that, well lets be Frank, McDonalds really doesn't give a care about their customer Dissatisfaction. Well, this is a email just to make myself feel better. Since I never write or complain, heres my chance to take more time and effort in composing a well stated email than any of your employees could possibly image taking in their costumer service or food preparation. I ask you, is it difficult to just put the proper ingredients on your menu sandwiches? For example today, I ordered an egg McMuffin. That's probably the most Simple sandwich to make, right? No...not here in Decatur, IL they cant even put the Canadian bacon on the sandwich. You ask me, Really is it that big of a deal, I say no not really, but this happens at least 70-80% of the time. I am not exaggerating either. Again, that's why I reiterate the notion that this email is pointless. McDonalds doesn't care AT ALL! People are dumb enough to continue coming back regardless of the poor service and hey... You get what you get..even if you didn't order it. McDonalds should rename themselves "Perhaps". Simply stated, you may perhaps get what you order, if we feel like it or you may perhaps get half your order and if you wanted something large...well we are going to give you a small just because. I can go on and on with orders that are not complete..say the 4 piece chicken nugget happy meal...well we only received 3 nuggets. My husband asked one of the girls at the window a few months ago if we could please have a ranch packet and the girl looked at him and told him " you don't need to cop an attitude" No I'm not kidding, so I guess asking please is coping an attitude? Are you amazed yet? Well after this incident I called the local restaurant that this happened at (you know the phone number listed on the receipt..luckily we did get one this time) and a nice man answered. I explained what had happened and he asked what she looked like...simple question right? Well more like a loaded one. I stated she was the black girl in the gray sweatshirt at the second window. Stated very simply as such. The man, who had identified himself as the Owner Mr Gary Birschbach told me I was being racist by calling the girl black and really I was lowering myself to her level. I was SHOCKED! My jaw was literally on the floor of the car. I didn't think I heard him correctly. I identified her as Black and in my mind she was the black girl at the second window opposed to the White girl at the first window. Sorry, there is nothing racist about it. And furthermore...I am the customer! Did I get an apology? Nope...remember I called because that wonderful young African-American women told my husband "Not to cop an attitude with her." Heres the problem! The owner turned it around on me..me the customer and somehow made it my fault she was rude. Its truly shocking. I watched a manager (I can even tell you her name because I was sooo shocked at what was going on..Ann Bishop) she was allowing young men to climb into the second window of the drive through one late night. I know her name because I asked her...my husband and I thought what has happened to the world that this is acceptable? Seriously, I am only 32 but come on! Is their any work ethic left? The thought of service with a smile is a thing of the past. Not only do you have to check and double check your food bag to make sure you get everything you should...you have to open every container, count your nuggets and open the sandwiches to make sure they put all the ingredients on it. It is simply a disgrace. Well, now that I have taken 30 min out of my day to write an email that will never go anywhere to anyone who cares about the total disregard for customer satisfaction (because that doesn't exist today) but just the total disregard for being civil to others. I laugh every time my husband thanks the person for his change and thanks the person for handing him the bag of food and the audacity of the employees for say YOUR WELCOME...do you see the humor here. We shouldn't be the ones saying Thank you...they should! We are the customers!
tl;dr - wall of text attacks you for 50 points! The "enter/return" key is great for breaking up your writing into these little things called paragraphs. My first grader knows how do to this. If I received an email was formatted as poorly as yours, I'd probably disregard it as well.
The real way to know McDonald's doesn't care about its customers is simply by looking at the nutritional information. Keep up the phone calls (or visit in person), and eventually they'll give you a gift certificate booklet which will allow your family to continue its dream of starring in the "One Butt, Two Seats" documentary.

I am so mad I could spit! Tonight we ordered McDonald's, a combo was one of the orders, and as everyone knows, a combo comes with FRIES. Did they put them in the bag? NO! Were they polite when we had to call them and return from out of town to pick up more fries? NO, they were jerks about it! Were we offered ANYTHING for our time? A free coffee, or maybe the FRIES they forgot? No we got nothing!
To make matters WORSE? This is the sixth time this EXACT problem has occured with us at the Dauphin McDonald's. Looks pretty stupid on their part. Come on people, check your orders, it's your job to fill the order, my job to eat it. It's not my full time job to make sure you're doing your McJob right!

I went to mcdonalds to get food for my disabled mother and when i came back they said that i had left the parking lot even though i hadnt and in that three minute span had hooked their tow truck to my car. they threatened to tow me if i didn't pay them a hundred dollars. they told me they saw me leave which never happened. they also said that they had towed...

Today I went to one of resturnt and ordered 3 sausage&egg mcmuffin and the girl charged me $6.52 for 3 sandwichs and just last week I got the same thing for $3.00 for the 3 of them and she said that they have never been a $1.00 before so I would like to know when theye changed and why if if this is going to be than you can just stuff it up your #.

I was very disapointed on a recent trip to Melebourne, as we live In Portland 100kms from the closest McDonalds store, My daughter was desperate for her McDonalds fix, I called into the Bayswater North store at about 9.30pm on friday 9th April, My daughter went in to buy her meal, while I made a few calls, I finshed making my calls, while I could clearly see my daughter in the store, I wondered why 30mins later she was still standind at counter waiting, as McDonalds is always a pretty quick service.I went in an asked what the hold up was, and was told there was a problem with the nuggets cooker, I waited with her for anther 15min, while i noticed alot of rowdy kids getting their orders (including nuggets) from, their freinds, serving at the counter, I then enquired again, and was told the order would be made now (looked to me they then remembered us then) so I went back to car, to wait. 25mins later my daughter got into the car, over an hour later we departed, My daughter went to give me my two cheese burgers she had ordered for me and paid for, only to relise they wernt t, here, he by then I was on the freeway, and over it and thought I could not go thru that process again, My daughters sundae was very melted, as that was given to her when she first ordered, so it sat there for the hour tooo.
this was not good service, clearly friends of staff, were getting their orders first. It was just a social
gathering for staff an friends. This was noticed by other custmors as well

awful bad drive thru service here--always especially at night. It's so bad that I drive like 10 miles or more otu of my way to go to another mcdonald's rather than deal with the bad service there. The females that work there are monkeys who are yelling screaming out of control and obnoxious...I used to go to this place long ago but stopped for those reasons and dealing with the creeps at the windows was too much to take...they were belligerent, would fight customers, yelled, screamed, no manners...really out there... so after many months, went back here ...and sure enough---the same abhorrent service...sceraming rude mean females there...and they even laugh at customers and will fight them for stupid petty things...I wouldn't say stay away but this is one of the worst mcdonald's I've been to and the managers are idiots and could care less...

I went to a McDonald's on September 28th at Foothill & Archibald in Rancho Cucamonga, California, and was appalled at the horrible customer service. If this was a rare occasion, I would have ignored it; however, this seems to be the norm for any McDonald's that I go to any more. I was in one of the drive throughs that split, allowing two cars to order. When the truck in front of me ordered and pulled up, and the car in the other lane ordered, the line in the front stopped; apparently they were waiting on food to be made. Never at any time did an employee acknowledge that I was there, waiting to order, even when I repeatedly called into the drive through speaker. After five minutes the line started moving, and I called in again; still no response. The order taker takes the order of the car in the other lane that pulled up after I had been waiting for over 3 minutes, and I call again; still no answer. Finally, thinking the speaker broke, I backed up and went into the other lane, where I am immediately waited on. I tell the person that I think the other speaker is broken, and his reply is, "No, we were just backed up". So basically, he was just ignoring me when I was in the other lane. When I called the 800 number for customer service, I was told the information would be passed on to the store manager; they did nothing else to help me. McDonald's service is the worst of any fast food restaurant I have ever gone to, and after yesterday I will never go to another McDonald's again.

aye lady i kno what you mean, i used to work at mcdonalds in london, ohio. i would get in trouble for not holdin my orders bc we were so backed up, the order screen shows 4 orders at once anything else is held ofscreen and we call them pending orders. we ARENT AT ANY POINT IN THE DAY ALLOWED TO HAVE PENDING ORDERS. and they got alot of complaints and stuff about making the drivethru wait bc we have that ### rule. i quit after suggesting that we stop ignoring cutomers and edit the system so that we can see more then 4 orders at once... sorry for you inconvience

On 4/5/10 my family and I were going throught he drive thru at your Tatnuck Square McDonalds. The line was very long and it took over 15 minutes to get waited on. The woman on the speaker did not speak nor understand English very well. Needless to say, she got our order wrong and overcharged us. When I tried to correct her, she became rude and never apologized. There was a young girl helping her and she too was rude. While we were waiting for our change, she was busy talking to boys to ring us up. I will no longer go to that McDonalds. I have encountered many people who are bilingual but can understand and speak English without a problem. If someone has a hard time speaking English, perhaps they should work behind the counter where they are not expected to interact with the public as much.
Place has the most laziest big mouth ratchet people they could possibly find. Who hires these people ? Do they not drug test ? They never have any order right, have to wait at least 20/30 minutes for a burger. Unbelievable this place should b shut down and the employees should def quit their day jobs and join the military
8/28/14, I went through the drive-through and ended up waiting in line for 18 minutes, I thought drive-through was quick? This has happened to me more then once this past summer. I love the fact that the coffee is only $1.00 but I end up late for work and loosing money. I will NEVER go back to Tatnuck Square McDonalds again.
On 3/15/2011 at 9:30PM a work colleague and myself entered the Mcdonalds in Camden TN. She went to the bathroom while I approached the counter to place our order.
Besides ourselves the only other customers in the restaurant was a family of four and a young teen boy each of whom had already been served. I was on the only one at the counter. After five minutes (long enough for a girl to use the bathroom and come back) of waiting my colleague came back out and asked if I had ordered. I told her no and said loud enough for the workers to hear, "no, obviously they are more interested in talking than selling anything." We then left and went next door to Wendy's where they were more than happy to sell us some food.
Why couldn't the help wait on the only customer at the counter? The girl BEHIND THE COUNTER was busy wolfing down one of their yogurt cups which is totally against the Tennessee health code. While doing so she was also talking to another worker on my side of the counter trying to get her to take one of the pitbull puppies her dog had. During this time the manager walked by, glanced at me, then gave the girl behind the counter a sour glance then kept going without saying a word to her.
Avoid poor food, poor service and an over exsposure to stupidity and laziness by skipping the clown and going to Wendy's.

While waiting for my food today, I saw an employee accidentally bump into a stack of drink cups, making them fall to the floor. He then picked up the cups and placed them back on the shelf. When I got his attention, he denied it, saying that these cups are "not being used for drinks in the restaurant". However, just moments later I saw another employee filling one of those dirty cups with orange juice and giving it to a customer!
So I have two complaints about this restaurant: 1) that an employee would possibly jeopardize the health of the public by using cups that had touched the floor and 2) then lie about it to my face. I called corporate to complain, but who knows if they listen, so I am writing here.
Overall the employees seemed not to understand, or care, about the health of the public that they serve.

bad service, rude and errible food
Me and a friend went through the drive-thru of the Mcdonalds resturant at Hallett Cove. We were not sastisfied whatsoever. the employees were terribly rude to the customers, the food was not up to qaulity standard and some was forgotten and only half full when given back. No greeting was given when handing the food out to us. the food was not even cooked properly, only about half cooked and we felt sick after eating it. When called up nothing was done to improve the service and I advise you to never enter the store in your life. They were not rushed off their feet they did not have a lot of customers to serve and could and should have done better.

If you want to make me smile, then its time to get me a ice cream from McDonalds ... But the one on the corner of Conway Rd. and Hoffner Rd., their ice cream machine is always broken... The past 2-4 times we have been there its always like this-

Just [censor]ing go somewhere else. At a certain time of the day, the ice cream/milk shake machine goes into this thing called "heat" mode, i don't know what it is exactly, but it does it every day around a certain time, depending on which one you go to. The one where I work it turns off at 11pm to 12am ish.
So what? There are places other than McDonalds that sell ice cream...buy some from Wally World. It's about 2.50 for a gallon
false advertising
I was a loyal customer of McDonalds until your recent policy change in the pricing of breakfast extra value meals (breakfast sandwich, hash browns, coffee or small drink at a better price when purchased as a meal rather than purchased separately). I have often enjoyed your sausage & egg biscuit "Extra Value Meal for breakfast.
I understand now that your Extra Value Meals are no longer "extra Value" but just a means for your corporation to push it's profits up while further endangering the consumer. I say this because you no longer serve small drinks with your extra value meals but force the consumer to buy a medium drink, thereby making the posted price for a value meal nothing but a lie because the medium drink adds 88 cents to the posted price of these meals (at least at my local McDonalds); disregarding the health aspects of enticing consumers to increase their intake of soft drinks (I will be spreading this word across the world wide web for everybody to see), the fact that your corporation feels that it is unnecessary to post the real price of your meals on your menu boards is unsatisfactory, especially in todays economy where the consumer cannot catch a break from corporate greed and disrespect of its customer base (you must think we are all stupid and would not care if you force us to pay more than your advertised price for a product).
I grew up with McDonalds being seen as a family restaurant offering a good meal at a fair price and can remember times when I couldn't afford to take my family out to dinner but could always count on McDonalds to bring a smile to my childrens faces. It is sad that this is no longer the case.
Breakfast value meals are a lie...you are charged extra for small drink, even though that is advertised as included in the total price...at a minimum, when complaining about the extra drink charge, you are then "up charged" for a small drink, although that is the smallest drink available on the menu, and then charged again for cream and artificial sweetener in the coffee...one $4.99 value meal ends up costing more than $7.00, at least...come on down and visit us here in Fountain CO or Colorado Springs CO for an early morning surprise!
I was thirsty after a hard day of work. I went to McDonalds to order sprite. I asked for a small cup. After I was finished I asked for a refill. The employee told me that those were only for medium and large cups. I told her that this was ridiculous as no where does it say this. They were so stubborn that after arguing they refused to refill my cup. They said a refill was five cents for small cups. I am a registered nurse I make 90k a year I can afford five cents but it is a matter of principle. When I worked at McDonalds they gave free refills.
Then a few days later I went back. I obeyed their stupid rule, paid extra for a medium and asked for a refill. I shared this with my ten year old daughter. We wanted one more refill. They said that we are only allowed one refill. I argued that this was false advertising. They did not give me a refill. They are so stingy.
I had to go to Kmart across the street to get my drinks. They could have gotton me arrested because I was banned from the Kmart because they falsely accused me of shoplifting. Luckily no one saw me that knew about my false accusation. I was out quick. I bought some coke, cups and ice for my daughter.
I think to make up for this bad experience I should be given free meal coupons and have the unnecessary cost of the coke, ice and cups reimbursed. You are lucky I was not charged with trespassing because than you would owe me more. I'm a registered nurse and do not need to be treated like a second class citizen.
Hey - I live in a city with no McDonalds - and live a fine life.
Maybe you should consider changing your life if McDonalds and the Fatty, No nutritional value foods they serve are such an important part of your life.

She physically and verbally abused her children. She make nasty posts towards other users and says someone else got into her account. There have been times when she slipped up and it was proven that the nasty posts were made by no other than her. She is racist against blacks, hispanics, Indians and Jews and physically abuses her children if they don't believe in her steryotypes against these people. She always asks for some sort of gift card. She is a miser. Makes money but wants freebies. You are right she needs to grow up, when she does not get her way she acts like a child. She is divorced and calls her husband a deadbeat father because he did not feed the kids the food they wanted. She is the one starving them. She thinks the world owes her. She thinks she has a right to cut in line because she is white and makes so much money and because she has children. She teaches her children to hate as much as she does, punishes them if they have black, hispanic, Indian or Jewish friends. She even punishes them for giving her ex husband Christmas gifts. I believe her boyfriend broke up with her because she stole money from him.

tuesday 3/30/10 @4:35 am pulled in the lot which lights were all on a young man entered the restaurnt by the manager on duty name tag loren tried to enter and was told they did not open until 5:00 am whats going on at this restaurant letting people in before hours the gentleman was not an employee no uniform on and kissing the manager on duty by the front counter this is the second time managers are letting non employees in after hours thought someone should know how their business is being run will not spend my money at this reataurant

glass in cookies
i purchased chooalate chip cookies from mcdonalds. when iwas eating the cookie it felt real hard and sharp. ithought it was the burnt part othe cookie i swallowed a little and i notice it got real hard to chew. it felt sharp, when i spit the rest of the cookie out on the tissue. i couldn't believe it was glass. i called mcdonalds and reported the incident.

poor attitude
Me and my schoolmates were just going on break march 24, 2010 around 8:00 at night and when we pulled up to the drive thru window the person taking oue order was very rude to us, we asked if we could have a minute and then she said sure like I have all night. Then when we were waiting for our food she did not give us our order right she was laughing about it. I tryed to get a hold of a supervisor but I was not able to and we just feel that that is very unprofessional and poor attitude for her to have when working in this kind of business.

Good day, as for now!?, I am one of a customer patrionizing McDonald's. I really love the food and the good service of your employees given to their customers. As an employee myself and as a mother, I see to it that I find time for my family and good way to do this is to treat them. Unitl yesterday, an incident shocked me which lead me to question on how professional your empoyees are specially managers.
As we were eating at McDonald's Tabunok Branch around 5:30 in the afternoon. I saw one of your manager a certain VINCE yelling at one of the crews who were wearing McDelivery Shirt. his voice was heard from four corners of the store insulting the crew and telling him "AGENCY KA LANG, KLIYENTE KO, WA NA KO MANGINAHANGLAN SA IMONG SERBISYO, PWEDE TIKA PALAYASON RON." This statement insulting the crew and terminating his service without proper forum is one example of abuse of power from a high ranking individuals. Is this the way you train your managers? I never expected to witness a manager at a place where many people eating and watching him to subvert employee under him. well in fact they were the same they were both paid.
Because of this untoward incident I decided to send you this requesting for your good company to investigate and give attention to this matter. I pity on every crew who can just keep thier silence. Let's face it he may have a mistake but how he was treated by MR> VINCE was very inappropriate to the extent it would take customer attention.
I hope you take action on this matter and hear both sides!
waiting time and missing product
my family and i live local, visit fast food restaurants often, but i always seem to have to go back to get something that was left out of my order or the worst, pull up and wait and wait, i have on several occasions timed the delays of my drive up visits, on the average, yes there is an average, of 7 TO 10 MINUTES of waiting i do not seem to ever have this issue at any other mcdonalds that i visit and it is not a one time thing it is often.. then they forget my straws or sauces so we have to go in and get them after waitng mind you we went through the drive up so that we would not have to park and go in, this is just a bother to a customer and ecspecially ones that frequent this mcdonalds, do you know that my father wont go there because they have asked him to pull up and wait when he has ordered a cup of coffee, wow thats bad he also renamed mcdonalds#11389 its current name is "the pull up and wait" because that is all we seem to hear, i really hope that someone can get those folks organized before they lose another customer
