Michaels Stores I did not received my full purchase, only one item.

Hello,

I purchased three items online and I only received one item. I checked the track status on the other two and it states that it was delivered. I haven't. The box where the one item was in it, came horrible packaging. This has never happened to me before. Either I recieved my other two items or I demand a refund. This is unacceptable.

Michaels Stores signature frames

I have used the signature frames for years to frame and sell my watercolor block prints. The variety of sizes has been fantastic as I cut my own blocks and need odd sized frames as they are non-standard. Doing my own mats has allowed me to frame my work to fit the signature frames without having to make all my work a standard size. Now that Aaron Bros is closed I am worried I will no longer have access to these black wood frames that suit my work so well. I have been a great customer, spending hundreds of dollars a year and would like to continue the partnership.

Michaels Stores coupons

I was enticed to come to the store with a spectacular coupon ("20% off everything including sale items"). Sadly when I arrived at checkout NONE Of my items qualified — they were "clearance". The cashiers tried to "teach" me the difference right there in the checkout line .. one of them shouting from another register ... really? Absurd.

I am tired of doing business with companies that try to pull you in with offers that really don't exist. To me things on "sale" and things on "clearance" are indistinguishable... as, I think they are with most customers. It reminds me if an experience with another retailer that advertised "all frames 40% off" except, of course, the one I selected. Why? It was on another wall was the explanation.

I love a bargain and I search for them ... I'm not trying to get something that I don't believe they haven't offered. I'm just tired of having the rug pulled out from underneath me at the cash register.

To touch up on the previous reply, an item that is on clearance means the percentage off is higher than 60%. An item on sale will be below 60%. There is a difference between the two.

Michaels Stores customer service

On February 28th at 8:55pm, at 7991 Eastchase Pkwy. I didn't even walk halfway in the store when all 3 staff members rudely said, " We close in 5 minutes. I just wanted to take a quick peek. I was a retail manager in the Riverchase Galleria in 1991. I am 49 years old and that was the rudest staff I have ever come across in my entire life . If there were cameras in the store. I would have reprimanded all 3 of them.

If you worked in retail, then you should know how frustrating it can be for a customer to come in the last 5 minutes of the day when there were 12 hours of service that was provided earlier..

Michaels Stores customer service was horrible

I was in store #6726 around 5:30pm tonight. The girl who rang me out at the counter was super rude! She was giving me attitude and not listening to anything said. I noticed with with the people before me too. If all I'm going to receive is rude remarks I will find other places to get my supplies for my buisness and I will let other buisness people I know to do the same thing. I usually walk out of this store happy today I walked out mad and started writing this.

Michaels Stores customer service

The store clerks are offensive, the second I set foot in the store numerous clerks swarm around my girlfriend and I and continue to do so the entire time . they proceed to repeatedly ask if we need help finding something, treating us as though qw are gonna steal something . it's very uncomfortable, offensive, and annoying. Neither of us has stolen anything from there before and we spend a good amount of cash eveeytime. There customer service to us as individuals is uncomfortable and offensive .we don't even want to shop there anymore which is unfortunate because we love your store and the products you have to offer.

Michaels Stores service

Good evening,
My name is Jasmine Hall, I have been a customer for years; but my first online purchase with the company has been a complete disaster. I will never order from the online store again. I placed my order for the cricut explore air 2 and the cricut easy press on 12/15; when I placed the order the website guaranteed that it would be here before christmas, however with everything all backed up it was then rescheduled to come at on tuesday 12/26, I was disappointed but understood. The tracking information provided through my michaels order conformation let me know my packages were at the bayonne location (Because I did site to store) I had my husband pick up what was supposed to be 2 items. He came home with one and I quickly realized maybe the store just forgot yo give him the other package, because again the online order confirmation notified me that both packages were delivered to the store. I called the bayonne location on the morning of 12/27, I was told that my second package was not there but perhaps would be arriving later on that day. I waited and called in the afternoon as instructed, however the item was never delivered. I could not understand how I have a conformation saying it was delivered and only one package came in. Roxanne from the bayonne store had assisted me at this point, not being able to help me at all. She explained that the site and stores have different systems and there was nothing she could do for me. It would now be my job to contact customer service and figure it out, naturally I was not okay with this at all. I called customer service and the first rep west, did not know how to help me as well; I explained the whole process and he pretty much told me my options were to wait for the item to come whenever it does or for me to cancel the order and re purchase. But west did see that the tracking information generated through the michaels site was incorrect and that there was a different tracking number for the second item that of course I never received and would have known about. I felt as though I did my part as the customer I purchased the item ad waited for it as so, there was a small hiccup with the shipping and I patiently waited for the items to come. However my items never appeared only one, which is unacceptable that no one from the store or customer service could assist me with. Then on top of that I could cancel but then I would still have to wait for the amount to be returned to my card, and have to go out of my way to go purchase my item. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was "disconnected". The last rep I spoke with was tabitha she was kind, very informative but also explained the same options as a solution, she just had a more pleasant way of explaining it to me. This has been very frustrating to me because literally nobody can help me, this experience has been the worst I have still not received my item and i'm very suprised that michaels conducts business like this. I will definitely not recommend ordering online or calling customer service, it seems that the majority of staff of various parts of the company ave no idea how to help the customer and after all if you work in retail that's just what your supposed to do help the customer any way possible. I worked in retail myself and I always exhaust all possible options, I feel that was not done in my case.

Michaels Stores bad service with rude staff

Unfriendly employees occupy the Michaels store in Oklahoma City, 2200 W Memorial Rd.
The staff is not just unfriendly, they are very rude and impolite, and if you need their assistance, I doubt you will not get it.
Moreover, it seems like these people are always ready to fight, to argue with their customers. Whatever happens, they won't stand behind their products and service, all of their customers are always wrong. Worst place on earth

Michaels Stores not delivering as stated on the work order

Good day!

I am a new customer who ordered a frame with Michaels Store at Shawnessy Calgary. I gave them the painting 3weeks ago and stated that the work to be completed today 17th Dec. I made a follow yesterday and was promised by one of the staff that they will complete it as stated in the work order. Is it also a standard practice at Michaels to start the job order in the last minute before the customer claim it and rushing the work? I was promise I can get my order as stated on the work order, now I called them but it looks like they haven't started working on it? This person also dont know how to handle customers inquiry and not professional!

This is my first experience with Michaels and Im not happy with it and ill make sure that all of my friends are aware with how Michaels staff deals with customer before they make any transaction with these persons in the framing department!

Please look into your staff attitude and give them a training if necessary!

Michaels Stores employment.

Honestly, I was very excited and hopeful to begin my employment at Michaels. My first day there quickly squashed those feelings. I was hired into the framing department and given an apron. One of the managers told me id get a name tag and a locker to place my belongings in while I work, the following day. I was then brought back to the framing counter and introduce to a woman named Michelle, who'd be in charge of training me. Once the manager left, I was immediately instructed to put something away. Not having the knowledge of where anything was, I began to look around for its place. She then began to describe to me in the most condescending, baby talking voice, where to place the item. I was honestly shocked that this was our first interaction. That was essentially, the entirety of my "training". I've never had a trainer make fun of me for not knowing how to do something, they were suppose to be training me on. That continued everytime I worked with this woman. In addition to her correcting the guests at the framing counter. I am honestly shocked that this woman has worked here for so long. I was hired into the framing department, everyone aware I was a waitress before this and had no idea what to do. I was more than willing to learn framing, and in the beginning was even excited to learn something new. I needed this job so badly that I decided to stay, despite how horrible everything was going. If she was leaving from a shift when I was coming in, there would be a list of things for me to do(I'm not normally one to complain about working at all). I felt as if she saved things for me to do, that she was physically inept to do, due to her weight. When I worked with her, she was more worried about gossiping and filling her coffee cup endless times, than completing pieces. We only completely 3-5 pieces each time I worked with her. I felt as if I was her monkey because I was young, naive, and new. Fast forward to black friday. At this point, this was my 12th or so day. I'd only been at the framing counter a number of times, for single opening pieces. Needless to say, I needed help with even simple things regarding the computer program used. I was left a list by Michelle, and left to run the framing counter alone, on black friday. At one point, I asked the assistant manager Don for assistance as there was a guest that needed a canvas stretched. He instructed me to call another store and have them walk me through it, right in front of the guest. Later on there was a piece with multiple openings, I again asked for assistance and this time I had stated I was as far as I could get alone. I really was trying. In an irate tone I got "well I'm on register right now. Can you describe to me what it looks like that you need help with?". At this point, I didn't even have the knowledge regarding the computer program, to be able to formulate a sentence that made sense. So I literally replied that I didn't know how to even describe it in correct terms. It was like pulling teeth, but I got someone to come help me. Overall, Michael's made me feel VERY stupid, after not wanting to train me properly. I get that it is the holidays and everything is busy. So don't hire if you cannot properly train. I also understand that this particular department has a fairly high turn over rate. I hope I am helping you understand why that might be. I never received a name tag, a place to put my belongings, simple encouragement as I made endless efforts to learn what was needed of me, or proper training. These are the miniscule things that make people feel intellectual and needed. They matter. These 3 weeks working for the Clearwater Mall Store, have made me feel more out of place, unwanted, bothersome and defeated, more than I've ever felt those things in my 20 years of life. Michaels Stores long lines a disrespectful managers

Michaels at 410 gateway drive has a line al the way to scrapbook three cashiers no body on the floor cashiers 1 & 3 calling for back up no one comes help these cashiers the female manager was very rude to cashier number 3. They are working them as slaves and the managers need to be removed from that store. Bad customer service from both managers and disrespectful to their associates.

Michaels Stores customer service/ store manager

Two weeks ago I ordered yarn while it was on sale, and had the shipment delivered to my local store. I was notified on November 20th that my items were delivered. Around 6:35pm on November 20th, I went to my local store to pick up my items. I was given one bag of yarn, and took it out to my car. Before I left the parking lot, I opened my bag and realized that not all of my items were in the bag. Also, the receipt in the bag of yarn highlighted the missing items and said "cut" next to those items. I then went back into the store to ask the associate if those items were delivered. She stated that she had no further deliveries for me, and that I should call the store tomorrow to see if maybe it was delivered then. I then left. In the meantime, I called customer support to see if maybe they could shed some light on the situation but that had no idea what happened. They couldn't tell me where my yarn was, even though it said "delivered" on their end. They said to call my local store tomorrow as the store associate suggested, and see if it was delivered the next day. So today, November 21st, I called the store around 11:30am to see if the items were delivered, and still no yarn. AND WHILE I WAS ON THE PHONE WITH THE STORE ASSOCIATE, I HEARD A MAN, who I assume is the manager, IN THE BACKGROUND STATING THAT I SHOULD HAVE NEVER LEFT THE STORE WITH OUT ALL OF MY ITEMS THAT I ORDERED! Making it sound like it was MY fault! So I called customer support AGAIN and they still have no idea with my yarn is. I was told that the item was out of stock...but funny, the item wasn't out of stock when I ordered it. And I was never notified by email that the item was on back order or no longer available, AND I was never refunded the money that I spent on those items! I can't believe that your customer support can't give me answers. And I can't belive that a store manager has the AUDACITY to blame his customers for the company's mistake! I currently have a replacement request in..hoping that i get my yarn, and I was told that if in 3 days I don't have a shipment confirmation, to call customer support for a 3rd time, and they will finally refund my money. This is ridiculous. And once this situation is rectified, I will no longer be shopping with Michaels. You obviously don't can't train your employees to deal with problems, AND perhaps you should choose your store managers better.

Michaels Stores customer service

As a frequent shopper at Michael's I left feeling unimportant as I was totally looked over by Michael's store manger in Albany Georgia. The manager's name is Michael. When I walked in and saw him on duty I instantly wanted to just walk out. He never speaks and is not friendly. I was in line and there were several customers behind me. Instead of him asking if he could help me after I had been standing in line for at least 5-7 minutes he asked the customer behind me if he could help her. I also made a blank trip to pick up an order that was not there. I will start shopping more online to keep from going through such as awful experience. Michael is the worst manager at Michael's. Give him some customer service training.

It sounds like you have a more personal relationship with this manager than just as a customer. Either way, your complaint doesn't really reflect how bad of a manager you consider him to be. You could call Michael's corporate customer service with feedback if you have had more negative experiences than you described here.

Michaels Stores customer service

Let me start by saying I have several health issues that make it difficult for me to get out and going to crafts stores brings great pleasure, although I don't get to do it very often. I am also on a fixed income so when I shop I need to use gift cards and coupons and sales. At my last visit to Michael's upon returning home I found an error on receipt so I immediately called the store explained what happened, she said I would get a full refund the next visit. Last night I returned with 50% off one reg priced item and a coupon for scrapbooking items. Plus knowing I had reimbursement for previous visit.
A sales person asked in walking by if I was finding everything I said no but she never broke stride to hear my response let alone help! Then I was approached by another employee to let me know the store was closing! At checkout I tried to explain about previous problem. I was so frustrated after trying to explain and getting no where I said forget it. After leaving it hit me the price didn't seem right for my 4 items for this visit maybe she didn't use my coupons. In the parking lot I saw I was charged full price for an item that was clearly marked down plus she only used one of my coupons. I tried to call the store but of course they were closed. So tired of problems with Michael's my special day could be spent at another craft store.

Michaels Stores use of coupon

As an avid painter, crafter, Teacher’s Aide and very “crafty” involved grandmother of 7, I have been shopping at Michael’s for so many years I’ve lost count. Typically, I have tremendous success finding what I want, and while living in Ocoee, FL. I had the pleasure of meeting the most incredible art instructor that I was heartbroken when I had to leave.
For the next few months I am currently house sitting in VA. and the closest Michael’s is a 40-minute drive. Today’s advertisement offered 20% Off Entire Purchase Including Sale Items. I really didn’t need anything, but knowing I was about to start 3 more quilted ornaments, I thought I would look at the trims, ribbons and other accessories.
Upon checking out I was told the 20% Sale did not begin until 4pm. I was very annoyed and admit, I should thoroughly read the coupon from top to bottom prior to making the drive. However, judging by the Cashier’s comment that I could leave my items behind the register like the “other’s” and come back after 4pm, it is clear that I was not the only customer to have presumed the coupon was good throughout the entire day.
Instead of getting frustrated, I asked the cashier to at least ring my two $5 items up separately so I could benefit from the 40% Coupon. Sadly, he would not agree to do so. If it were not for the fact the line was rather long; I would have gladly made a scene.
This may not mean much to you, but when you consider that just this month alone, I have shopped at Michael’s on 5 separate occasions. My paintings and crafts are sold at many places and I am honored to say that I regularly make many items to donate for various Fundraisers.
When discussing one of my crafts or to teaching a class, I proudly let others know I purchase my supplies from Michael’s. Yet today, when I have invested time, gas and I am willing to spend my money on your products; I find it insulting that I am told I can come back in an hour, wait in line again and then receive the additional discount?
It is situations such as this that make me eager to return to a city or state where I am given alternate choices of stores, such as Hobby Lobby, Jo Ann Fabrics, even a large Wal-Mart! Then I would not have to deal with this silliness.

Michaels Stores customer experience

Just a Had a very unpleasant and semi embarrassing situation with a rude store manager by the name of Collette. I came in to exchange some clay mold because I had gotten the wrong kind. The cashier proceeded to say I need to speak w a manager to return this item. Which I also had my receipt and have been coming back and forth to Michaels like five times for the past cpl of days. Collette the store manager proceeded to school me on how the clay product wrong and made it a point to tell me I've done it wrong very loudly and in front of customers. I honestly never been embarrassed at a store in front of customers before when I buy tons of items and had my receipt. I proceed to making a complaint with BBB and CFPB. I work Customer Service and know the blueprint and guidelines on how the customer is suppose to be treated. As a store manager it's ok to display a position on power but when you have a snooty uppity and not personable attitude that's where your store can completely crumble from one attitude. Honestly she didn't know if I was a blogger, didn't know if I was a secret shopper, didn't know if I worked at the news. But what I do know is a way to get my voice and my disappointing customer experience heard. I look forward in hearing from someone with this company soon.

I was at Michaels yesterday California Md. i asked two workers about a products i was looking for NOT one of them would go and look or even help me to find it. if we have that its in the far corner, and walked away The next one i ask, said I really don't know if we have that or not, and she went on about her business to. I got to the register and was asked if i found what i wanted i said NO and neither one of the floor workers would even take time to help. So the lady said you can go online and order it. Really i'm in the freaking store, Why would I drive all way to a store to be told to order it on line SO I came home and I ordered it alright From Walmart

Michaels Stores complaint for my visit on 8/10

I shop at your store a lot my experience has always been good since my visit today I wanted to use a competitor coupon and was told I can't which was 55% she told I can not and only could do what they have going on right now which is 40% and wanted to do another transaction using a Joann fabric coupon for 50% I again was told I cannot use it she was very rude and when I told her I've used coupons like this before and why can I not use it now she told me they are really cracking down on people using coupons also she said she's in management and she stated she knows the right way ...I was so upset I shop there probably 2-3 times a week or more and spend a lot I am considering going else where for my craft items I have never been treated so bad and will not be going back...!

Michaels Stores service and incorrect information

Michaels is my favorite store. I go there often. Today I purchased a Canson multi-media drawing pad. The price is normally $8.99. Today it was marked 50% off original ticketed price - Canson artist paper pads, 60 styles- excludes hardcover sketchbooks. The cashier rang up the purchase as $8.99. When I questioned the price and told her about the 50% off sign, she asked for a price check. The associate said the sign said buy one, get one free. Thinking maybe I misread the sign, I paid the full price. Later in the day I decided to check for myself and returned to the store. Sure enough, I had been correct so I snapped a quick pic with my phone and told the cashier. She said she would return my money and charge me the sales price but she said the sign had probably been placed incorrectly. REALLY? There were three 50% off signs, all located with the Canson drawing pads. The Strathmore pads were actually buy one, get one. It just annoys me that the associate didn't take the time to make sure she checked accurately.

Michaels Stores customer service/knowledge of current promotions

I went into Michael's to get my teacher tote, as I received three emails reminding me to. Unfortunately, the manager, Linda, didn't seem to care to help me. Since she hadn't heard about the teacher tote "since 1:00 this afternoon" (she kept repeating that), it meant that it didn't exist. I told her I had several emails reminding me about it, but since she knew nothing about the promotion, even after I showed her my email, apparently I was wrong. I saw the totes behind the registers, and pointed them out (the email also had a picture of the tote). But she didn't give me anything.
