As a mother of a teenager employee I am upset over my daughter's first employment experience with the management here. There has been no correspondence with her manager. She has needed to speak with him and no one has given her guidance that has worked. Are we in the stone age? door mat
I do not have the receipt of my door mat but the sticker is still on the back and I have attached a picture. I have only had this door mat on my back concrete patio for about a week and it has stained it beyond belief. This has never happened to me with a door mat before and I have tried everything to get it out. I am seeking help to rectify this problem as it has caused major damage to my home.
So you expect someone from the company to compensate you for dirt you feel was the mate's responsibility. You are exactly the type of person that has ruined retail in this country. What entitlement.
floral department recent changes
Hello,
I am extremely upset that you have eliminated your floral designers and have chosen to sell pre-made arrangements that have no originality. I have been buying custom made arrangements for years from your stores and have always been very happy with them.
I will not be buying any more wreaths or arrangements from Michael's unless they bring back the custom designers. I do not want to buy something that everyone else has.

Over the last twelve years I have purchased all of my blank cards from Michael's. I have told all of my friends about your great quality and value. On 6/4/18 I placed an order [protected]) and was so disappointed in the quality of the paper (kraft, white and cream) in the cards and envelopes. The definition of "customer service" at the Michael's in Greenbay Wi goes as follows; follow regular paying customers and treat them as tho they are thieves. Never let them shop in peace and make sure everyone knows you're following them. Glare at them and anyone they come in with and inappropriately rub against them." My friend and I are regular customers and shop on a weekly basis at this store. We are heavily tattooed and I guess in their puny brains it also means were thieves. They treat us poorly and constantly follow us around and never let us shop in peace. It's definitely harrassment because we've never stolen or done anything inappropriate, I'm sure if they actually thought we did they would have contacted the police already. When we first started shopping here everything was Rose's and now for the past 2 years the Rose's have wilted and it's no longer a pleasurable experience shopping here. I know they've done it to other people as my friends have told me that they constantly harass tattooed and ethnic people. The main problem is this overweight balding older man probably in his late 40s, I think hes supposed to work in framing or stocking. But he follows us and looks at us inappropriately and makes a point to walk by if were bent over. There are a few other workers there but for the most part several of them talk to us and are nice. But were finally fed up as this has been going on for 2 years. Please help with this situation as I'm sure if it's not corrected there surely will be legal consequences as we arent the only women hes doing things to. Thank you
availability of coupons
Hi.. I would just like to express my opinion regarding the availability of coupons. The "new" membership for michaels is very taxing. I am a senior and I do not have a cell phone to pull up the coupons, plus every time I buy something I have to give them my phone number. Over and over and over again. It is already in your system. Yes, I have a computer at home, but I do not have a printer. What good is that? If my phone number is in your system, then it should automatically give me a coupon. Your system should at least target the people who do not have access to cell phones, printers, etc. My computer is too heavy for me to carry into the store, plug it in, and show the cashier that I have an email from michaels showing me a 40% coupon. The cashier said that they were not allowed to scan in a coupon that they have at their station. Just really frustrating that alot of seniors are missing out on the discounts especially when they are already on a limited income and could benefit from a discount.
Thanks for listening, and perhaps you should have a meeting that could improve on the accessibility of giving discounts to those who do not have access to these coupons.
I'm not a senior but I don't have a cellphone or printer access, the flyers stop coming around. Why do they advertised coupon savings in their paper flyer or email you re: savings? That's false advertising! I'm tired of cashiers not trying to solve a problem Eg. Oh I don't know why but I'm having problems scanning this coupon (after 10 min). I want to jump over the counter and find the transaction button to "Enter coupon manually" but after 15 min she asked me to go back to store next day to get discount, I stopped shopping @ michaels completely. Many independent art stores & Amazon has better pricing than Michaels with coupon. Even Winners/HomeSense started carrying arts & craft supplies

So about three weeks ago I went into micheals made an 80 dollar purchase. From the very beginning of my checkout the cashier was making mistakes after mistakes. She kept ringing up the wrong prices. They acted like I wanted free things. Not realizing how much I was actually going to be paying I only wanted them to honor the prices they had posted all over the store. So as the checkout experience went on the cashier was upset about how little some things were coming up to be. So like I said before I ended up paying 80. Not only did she not thank me for stopping by but she also forgot to hand me a couple of bags. I came home and didn't go through my things until the next day. I gave them a call and let them know that the cashier forgot to hand me a few things. They said they had them and that they would hold them for me. So I let them know that I was not going to be able to stop by any time soon. The man said it was fine and that they would hold on to them for me. Ok so the following weekend I stopped by was trying to make an exchange. I wasn't allowed to do so because I didn't have a receipt what they didn't realize that the bags that were left behind had that. So I am now forced to keep two brand new items that cost me full price now for 6. Dollars! So I said I wouldn't return them for that price. So I went to ask for the items that the lady forgot to give me. And I explained everything to them. They said that they didn't have my items. This is Unacceptable! So now I not only have to keep items that were not cheap. To making a purchase for things I don't have with me. So the manager then goes to tell me they don't keep items for that long. I called and I was assured my items were there. And now there not? Only one week past by and I called multiple times to make sure the things were there. Do they not realize that micheals is a crafting store and as a diy they make plenty of money from us? I'm always making purchases and from the very beginning to the very end I've had a very bad experience with my local micheals. They are really not doing me any favors by them holding my things that the forgot to give me. So at the end the manager goes to say we'll go pick out your things and the lady with her says well she doesn't have a receipt. Well we will have to write the number. As if they are doing me a favor... or giving me free items. I've gone back and fourth spent gas money on trips that I didn't need to do. Bought 80 dollars worth of things. Have items that I can't return full price because I don't have the receipt that was in the bags they forgot to give me. And I paid for items that are not home with me. I pretty much just handed my money over and said here just take it. Come on now micheals. You need to have you're employees stop being so petty and thinking that they are giving away there own things. Trust me I'm more than happy to pay for my own things. Something needs to be done as I'm not happy the way I was treated.

cancelled order, no notification
I purchased Bernat Blanket yarn in Shell Pink online to be shipped to my local store (which didn't have the yarn in stock). I put ALL my details on the order. I was told to go in to the store a week later to pick up my order.
I never received a confirmation email, even though I provided that information on my order. When I went in to pick up what I ordered, they had absolutely no record of me or my order in any capacity.
The day after I went in to the store, I received an EMAIL about how I should review my purchased items (meaning they had my email information that was tied to my order).
Upon calling customer service today, they told me they didn't have an email on file (which they obviously did), and that they cancelled my order a week ago due to not having it in stock at the corporate facility. I was never informed of this and the charge is still on my bank account.
I not only want a refund, but also what I ordered. I don't really care where you get the yarn from, I'm now behind on a paid project because Michaels failed to communicate effectively.
For years I have tried to be part of the rewards program, but every single time I give them my email and phone number, they mysteriously lose my record the next time I go in the store to purchase something.
Something is wrong with the system here, and I got screwed because of it.
Horrible customer service from overseas. They won’t transfer me to a manager or another rep.
I really now don’t care about the product now as they keep on cancelling as they say it’s out of stock. I can’t go to the nearest location as it’s miles away . Customer service wants me to keep paying for a shipping charges. I’m not going to pay 13.00 each time for out of stock items when it clearly says in stock. Again the phone customer service agents need to be retrained. I’ve been shopping here for years but this experience turned me to shop elsewhere.
I too have had my order cancelled, no rhyme or reason.. and they charged my card. I called customer service, and her explanation was the system found an error, so it cancelled my order. Is there no quality control? Are we as customers at the mercy of a system algorithm that is faulty? I’ve been searching the internet about this problem, and it seems it happens quite often. Maybe Micheals doesn’t need our business? This NEVER happens to me at Amazon. Now I’ve got to wait for that charge on my card to reverse. SMH.
I placed an order for an item that shows available. 30 minutes later I get an email saying sorry my order was cancelled yet they already charged my card. The item is still showing available online so I am not understanding why my order was cancelled. Also it would nice to be sent a reason as to why you’re taking people’s money and then shortly after canceling their orders.
coupon confusion
I am confused plz clear this up for me. I am a yarn fiend and crocheting can be very expensive I can buy a blanket for 20 bucks but to crochet one can cost me over 100 dollars 18 skeins times 5 bucks a pop so I love your 40 percent off coupon. Recently found you accept competitor coupons so I used my 40 % off and a hobby Lobby 40 % off coupon together on 2 skeins of reg price yarn and was happy😁😁😁 next visit (diff cashier) I showed my coupons and was told I could only use one. But I could use a hobby Lobby 40 % off one red price item and a Micheal's 20% off entire purchase so I happily came in to buy up your discount bin( which by the way is a mess. Tangled up skeins with no price and dirty but your clearance yarn is only 40% off and still to expensive) got to the counter (diff cashier) and was told I could only use one coupon period. If your policy is one coupon per person per visit train your employees. Apparently they havnt a clue and now I'm dissapointed in Micheal's this has left a bad taste in my mouth

I went to use my 50% off coupon on a real cart and was told I wasn't allowed to use it on said item. Girl was very rude about it so I left the store. On 7/27/18, I purchased 14 frames. When I received them, one was broken, two were so flimsy that they were ready to break and two I didn't like, so I called Michaels to get a return transaction label. I returned five frames last week, and got a credit for one of the frames. I called this morning, and talked to a woman called Tammy. She put me on hold for about 20 minutes to find my order and then to check on what to do. She agreed to partially refund me. I paid $29.20 for three frames, but only got refunded $26... and some cents. This is inadmissible. She kept apologizing, and saying that's what she had in front of her. What kind of business is that. Michael's policy is to "gladly offer a refund if not satisfied." You should say that you will partially refund the merchandise. I will not advertise Michaels ever.
harassment/abuse/hostile environment
I went shopping at the Michael's in Rancho Cucamonga CA to purchase a birthday gift for my neighbor that just moved in. I was helped by a wonderful employee named Stacey, she really knew the store products and recommended the perfect items with utmost authenticity and enthusiasm. Upon checking out however, a very rude, condescending worker named Norka kept trying to overcharge me, wouldn't take my coupon, then answered the phone and went to help the customer on the phoneline instead of taking my payment, which held up the line in store. She tried to charge me for the plastic bags she put the items in (Michael's doesn't charge for grocery bags) and when I asked to speak with a manager she literally snapped, pushed the bag at me and told me to "[censored] off, go to a different store because I've had it". I was speechless. I used to work in retail on the east coast and understand people have rough days, but I don't know what permits someone to treat others so poorly like this. She was even worse and more verbally abusive to her co-workers demanding they drop what they're doing and do what she says no matter how long the line was. Talk about power-hungry. Please remove her immediately.
hole punch
I had not used the product, requested a refund within a week, and had the receipt, box, and bag with it. The lady at the counter told me the policy was that since I had opened the package a little to determine if my arthritis could handle the pressure, she could not return the hole punch. I walked out and threw away the product because I had no use for it. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND RETURN POLICY! I refuse to shop at a store with such a terrible refund policy!

I have been an active client of Michael's for the past 5 years. We own a Paint and Sip studio and have purchased 1000s of canvasses in the past along with paint.
I always go to the same store where I am also familiar to some employee s and the employees that are around at least know I am a good long term customer.
We opened a new bank account and wanted to pay with a starter check they gave me ( card haven't arrived yet) so I went to one of the manager and asked if I could give them a company check and she replied that yes if I had my ID of course and yes she knows me.
Arriving at the cashier I gave my starter check that had all the info. My ID. Phone number ( some of them even came to my studio to paint invited by me)
My studio is about 2 miles max away and well knowned. I refers I had a class in 30 too and was in a hurry.
When the young cashier girl asked from approval to another ( always) grumpy one ( for years...not a smile...nothing toward customers) the older one said in rage " No! This is a starter check! We won't accept it"
" But I just talked to a manager and I am a very good client and you know me for years. You have all the info of my business account my iD and phone number"
I never ever had a payment problem or anything .
Another one felt she was suddenly empowered by a decision to take and joined the decision. I wasn't allowed to go see the manager and the old one walkie talkies to tell her I had to stay. I was very upset and humiliated as the way they treated me. My company never had an issue and have bring thousands of dollars to you. This is my local store and I got late for my class. Had to wait for someone to bring me cash. Legally my check had all the info for the payment and was a company check. I also proposed then to call bank.
Very very disappointed. And mainly the way clients are treated with anger and power strangle the agressivity over good clients was sad to watch. I felt like crying so nasty they we're.
Very very upset of that lack of consideration.

At work one day, I ran out of red grosgrain 5/8" ribbon, and I thought I'd call Michaels and ask because I was working. I called to ask about a certain kind of ribbon, and the manager answered, then immediately asked me to hold. I did, and when she came back in the line, she said her name is Kirsten. She said because they were busy, check online, rather than going to check if they had it in store for me.

I picked up an order from the rear of the store and Weston waited on me. I had picked up a very large stack of scrapbook papers about 6 reams. I asked if he could ring up one small item. He said "No". So I put it back.
Went today to pick an order and There was a huge counterspace and I had two items on the counter he gets my package but takes it to a completely different counter for me to sign a piece of paper instead of coming to where I was so I had to pick up my items and go to him it's those little things where someone is just trying to be rude so subtly. I didn't dare ask him to bring up my two items so when I checked out at the front register I was looking for a coupon and the young man at the front register said please have it ready next time, he proceeded to use that same coupon that he had behind the counter but I didn't appreciate getting a lecture about having my coupon ready.
Grow up lady.

I'm just emailing because Michaels located in Raleigh, NC in the Brier Creek area never have t shirts. There is no way their store should be out of shirts for 2 weeks at a time. I don't know if management is doing a terrible job of ordering or what but I have had this conversation with several customers and the only thing we can do is give our business to AC Moore. Please address.
custom framing
I brought an item into your store in Poughkeepsie, NY. Currently it has been give back to them 3 times to be fixed. The first time it was given to me with what was supposed to be a brand new frame, yet it was scratched all over it. The item was not stretched and the wood that it was supposed to be stretched on to was showing all above the frame, since it was stretched over the wood using 'clips ' (never saw that before, but would have been alright if done properly. Also, the glass was scratched on the underside. The mat was also all frayed. The woman who presented it to me said that she was the one that framed it and did not see anything wrong. I would not accept it, and they put a new frame on it, but did not change the glass or fix the mat. Again, I would not accept it, so it was there for yet another 2-1/2 weeks. I just went in for the third time to pick it up and even though it was better, the framer got all kinds of dirt under the glass, which is still scratched and was never addressed. I brought it home this time on May 24th yhinking that the 'dirt ' under the frame would move and be alright. Instead there must have been more dirt, the frame had a small chip that I did notice and the glass is STILL scratched. I don't know if I will ever go back to Michael's stores again, not only because of the mess they made if my artwork, but moreover, the way I was treated like I was STUPID and should not care about the damages. I am tempted to go back again, but I am not looking forward to the attitudes. It is a shame because I had over things framed there that are absolutely gorgeous. I brought 6 packs of colored variety pens back too Micheal's for a return gift card due to loosing my receipt somewhere between Florida and California. I teach Sunday school and was having a poetry Bible contest. The pens did not qualify for the exact test. So on Tuesday May 2018 at 15 minutes till 11 am I went into Micheal's brought pens to customer service the very young lady batted her eyes very fast with a low determended I don't think so look. Said I have to talk to my manager about returning these with no receipt. I said sure I bought them in lakeside Florida I came here for my poetry Sunday school event and I can not use them I need to exchange for a different title. She being young very chunky kinda long dark hair and wide glasses walked off from the register very fast not looking back. My phone rang and it was my pastor asking will I be returning those much longer? Then I said nope heresies comes I'll see Ya soon. She came up in front of me batting her eyes very fast like she had a twitch condition in able to control the eye movements. I'm thinking she should really seek a doctor for her eye condition. Then she while blinking says you may not return these pens to any Micheal's at all. These are close to 200 dollars and my manger says he'll no not here or any other Micheal's. I looked at the very inexperienced young lady and said you don't have to be so Kurt. Wow you didn't have to make it like this. You think those pens are stolen. I did not steal one of those pens. I simplycant find my receipt and really your not loosing any money putting my balance on card cause if you think there stolen the amount in pens still stays the same if transferred to a gift card. Explain please what I would gain. You can't cause you just made a fool of ur self and this Mexican Salinas Micheal's. However, our policy IS and does STATE that we may NOT except non-receipted returns over $25-$50. This does not mean anyone is discriminating or stereotyping against you, this is something all associates must do with all customers who have these pricey non-receipted returns.

I purchased three items online and I only received one item. I checked the track status on the other two and it states that it was delivered. I haven't. The box where the one item was in it, came horrible packaging. This has never happened to me before. Either I recieved my other two items or I demand a refund. This is unacceptable.
