I went to Midas on 2702 4th Ave North, Billings, MT to have work done on my Suburban March 16, 2024. Invoice #0516209. My suburban was vibrating when I drove it. Midas was to replace the control arms with ball joints. Plus do an alignment. The names on my repair form are Dylan Bendall and Eric from the front office. My suburban made a loud squealing noise after I left Midas. I called and had to take it back in. My suburban pulled to the left. I again returned. My suburban continued to have pulling to the left and shaking problems. I had already been to Midas 3 times with very long waits. My back took a turn for the worse and I couldn't drive back down to Midas. Got charged $665.37. Paid via Mastercard xxxx in full.
I texted and called Eric (?) with reports of continued vibration. Why I took my suburban to Midas in the first place. Continued pulling to the left.
On July 20, 2024, a Saturday, I had a mechanic Caleb come to my home to work on my Suburban to figure out what was going on. He took apart the front wheels and made a horrible discovery. He told me that he “had to show me something on my vehicle which was dangerous”. He made videos of what he found. The videos showed completely loose upper control arms. Caleb moved them back and forth and up and down. He stated that they should not have been like that and a safety issue.
Caleb, mechanic’s notes as stated in his receipt.
“Known bad lower ball joints. Will be replacing ball joints. Diff service. Brake system inspection. Labor is subject to change based on the condition of vehicle. I.E. Possible Rust. Rodent infestation. Seized parts, and body damage. Customers states Midas worked on upper control arms previously: Found them completely loose. Safety issue will not let vehicle leave without repair. Customer approved repair and test drive was conducted. Both front wheel bearings are bad and now need replaced. Cause of bad lower ball joints could have been bc of the loose upper control arms. Vehicle vibration was due to loose upper control arms. Tightened control arms and vibration is gone. Cost was $864.99. Paid in full by Cody Boehm, Bonita Burton’s grandson."
I want a full refund from Midas for work not done properly. I have videos showing the poor work not done by Midas.

You’ve certainly put in the effort to get this sorted—could've been worse if you hadn't caught that safety issue in time. It's clear Midas dropped the ball here, and it’s impressive how you've documented everything so thoroughly. Hopefully, they recognize the gravity of the situation and give you the refund you’re due without any more runaround.
Thank you so much for your support and kind words.
