Wont give a refund for 2 Miracle Ear Hearing aids
The hearing aids were bought at the Anderson, SC office. September 20, 2024
my husband went through all the process and he couldn't wear them for any length of time. We asked for a refund around October 7, 2024 she guaranteed he would get a full refund.
The cost of the hearing aids was $7490.00 plus insurance of $199.80 for insurance plus $39.00 I don't remember what this was for. My husband is 84 years old and in poor health. This has been very upsetting to him because he
was assured he would get a full refund if they didn't work out.
We have already bought the hearing aids up to the Anderson office and she sent us home and said to wait for the corporate office to agree to a refund

Have been using Miracle Ear hearing aids for over ten years. Have purchased four sets of aids. I had ear impressions made for first set and these impressions were used for three sets and the aids fit my ears very well.
In December 2023 I purchased my fourth set and impressions of my ears were made. The aids did not fit my ears, they came loose and i had feed back in my ears. I rejection this set. Two more sets were made and the results were the same. After much complaining at local office i was told that with the new technology these aids need to be much larger than ones I has used in the past.
Should this type of aids are the ones now being made and the configuration cannot be changed I will need to change sources for hearing acids.
I would request that I receive a complete refund for the money I have spent for these that do not fit my ears. The were suppose to match the ear impression that were taken.

Hearing exam
My wife had a hearing exam in Mcallen on 10th Street. Test showed her hearing was very poor. Tried a couple different styles,even took her outside to try. We told them we have to have the results of the test to send to an attorney because it was a workers compensation case. They got angry and said to receive the results we needed to pay 10.00 and would take two weeks to receive. I called said yes they were at the office so we dropped by to pick them up. Read the results when we got home and they manipulated her test and at the top a highlighted area stating she had only mild hearing loss and didn’t require hearing aids. What crooks! Just unbelievable. We’re headed back their tomorrow to raise some cane!

Miracle-Ear in Conyers Ga.,I got my two there a few months ago through a specail program to help people with low income get hearing aids,I was told they where under full warranty lost damage anything when wrong they would be fixed are replaced ,well one of mine has been lost so I went by Miracle-Ear in Conyers Ga. Where I got them from and the office manager said it been lost was not covered by warranty but I could buy another one full price.Wow what lies we go through. I will never recommend anyone to Miracle-Ear. This place takes advantage of the old and low income people.

Local store closure without notice.
I paid cash for my hearing aids and my local miracle ear was open on my day off work for cleanings and appointments. All of the sudden, the office is closed on that day and Now I have to take time off for my cleanings and appointments. I was not even notified of the closure. This is no way of treating a cash paying customer. I sure will never recommend this business to anyone.
Desired outcome: I would like to see someone in this office on Fridays so I wouldn’t have to take time off of work.

I have been with this company for several years. I liked them and the service I got. I called today to get an appointment because my hearing aides quit working. Without them I can hardly hear anything. They told me they could not see me until the 21st of the month. Today is the 7th. I asked what I am supposed to do without being able to hear for two weeks and was basically told, it is not there problem. I will have to cancell doctor appointments beause I can not hear. Not what I would call very good customer service.
Desired outcome: They need to leave an opening or two for emergencies like this.

I went to the opening of the Miracle Ear office grand opening to purchase a reasonably prices pair of hearing aids. I was tested and told my hearing was a lot worse than I thought which wasn't so. I only had one test because the other machine was not working. The specialist talked me into a very expensive pair of hearing aids which I told her I couldn't afford. I was given the hearing aids to use for a week and to bring them back if I didn't like which I didn't not like them The specialist had set me up with a loan co. and even though I tried to return them she told me in front of a whole office of people I would never get my money back embarrassing me to no end. I am 78 and do no have a lot of money. There were arrangements made to return the devices but because I had a broken leg and my daughter was battling cancer the devices were never returned.

in the ear hearing aid

I wished I had read these reviews before purchasing these hearing aids. I have had one problem after the next. First of all, the person in the office did a very poor job going over care and use of the hearing aids. Mine had Bluetooth capabilities. The piece that enters the ear is metal, which they cover with this rubber piece. The rubber piece comes in different sizes. At first, the inner ear part kept popping out, so they replaced it with a larger rubber piece, which worked ok for the rt. ear but not the left, so they replace it with another larger size which was too large. So at the moment I am unable to use that hearing aide. I also have tinnitus, so I am almost deaf with just the one because of tinnitus. I also believe that the hearing aids are making my hearing worst. I am turning the volumes up on my tv and can barely hear using the phone. I paid over $8000. I am very unhappy with these hearing aids. I would not recommend this company.
Hearing aid sent back to be repaired/replaced and never worked properly.
My hearing aid was returned to be repaired but when I received it, it never worked properly. I was told it only had a two month warranty but as I stated it never worked properly when it was returned to me. Attempts were made to fix it but nothing seemed to work. In setting up another appointment today, March 30, 2023 I was told that there was nothing that could be done since the hearing aid had an enclosed case and couldn't be opened to try a new receiver that it had to be returned. I am not only inconvenienced by not having a hearing aid that would work in my ear, I was also told that I had to pay for the cost because it was out of warranty. I do understand that except as I stated the hearing aid was never properly fixed while under warranty in the first place. I do feel that a company with your reputation can be a little more forthcoming and honest and fulfill your obligation to either fix or replace a defective hearing aid without inconveniencing a longtime customer with charging a fee and for me to be without at least a temporary hearing device.
Desired outcome: My over $3000 hearing aid being repaired properly and not being charged any additional money due to Miracle Ear not properly correcting the problem while under warranty.
I wished I had read these reviews before purchasing these hearing aids. I purchased them in March, 2023 and have had one problem after another. Paid over $8,000., what a complete waste of money.
the product & service location
I got the product and the service fit. They were never right and tried to return them at 2 careeks & 4 weeks. the ap affected my phone & bluetooth in my car. When I tried to return them, I dropped them off and the lady followed me out to my car & as I was putting my walker in my car. she followed me out & threw them in my car & walked back into the office & locked the door. The did not stand by the promise of returning and getting the debt cancelled.
They do not stand behind the product or the words they say.
Genius hearing aide
I signed up for a 45 free trial on 2/2 on a Genius aide after reading your ad in the Schenectady Daily Gazette. My appointment was 2/13 where hearing was performed and follow on 2/17 Genius was adjusted for my needs. I was given a weekend to try and returned on 2/20 expecting a free 45 day trial but was refused that and needed to pay before receiving the Genius. This was not the program I called about and returned the Genius although I did find some limited improvement. I needed the 45 days to evaluate under various conditions. I think the Saratoga Springs were in error. Thanks for your help.

hearing aids refund
On my last visit to miracle ear, I was told my refund was mailed on 10-18-22. It is now 1-8-23 l have not received my refund .My insurance and l paid for my hearing aids up front.But it has been over a year and I have not received my refund.I have tried numerous times to resolve this issue at the Hampton store, I was told they would look into it and call me back.I never received a call back .So I called Jessica at [protected] on 1-9-23 . Hope Jessica calls me. This is not good customer service

Cross over hearing aid
I was granted a hearing aid by the foundation > I love the gift of hearing due to that i am completly deff in my right ear. I was given a crossover hearing aide. I have asked for one that wont get wet so much because I sweat and they say it contains water. I am very careful with my hearing aid because it helps me hear very well. I am a 54 year old woman did a program for them at the gulfport store was on the news and in the paper. I only want tobe able to keep hearing with out running back to the store evertime they stopworking due to sweat. I paid the deposit and have a warranty on them and cannot afford to by that dryer to keep them dry.. Tara clark is the tech at the boca raton office, she is rude and disrespectful, i have not been satisfied with her services as she continues to brag about her ability but blames me when her computer fails her and when i called she referred to me as :"the biggest jerk in the world", she did not know she answsered the phone and i heard this . Bill not paid!!!
I was sold hearing aids and I was not told that my insurance was not going to pay for them. So now I’am stuck with a $1500 payment Miracle Ear told me that they would cover the cost but it’s been damn near a year and it hasn’t happened yet! Now I’m getting calls about the bill not getting paid, they are killing my credit score because of this. They keep giving me the run around about the situation. About 2 years ago I purchased hearing aids from Miracle Ear for $9500.00 for my wife. Since purchasing these things, I have had to have them repaired 4 times. Every time it involved sending them to the repair shop and waiting 10 to 2 weeks to get them returned. My wife is basically deaf without her aids, so these long repair times and numerous repairs have been difficult for us to live with. I think the price I paid for such a lousy product is reprehensible. I will NEVER purchase anything from Miracle Ear again. Definitely NOT worth the money.
Would not allow to return after trying a 2nd pair which were also unsatisfactory.
My Mother went 2 months ago got one pair and of course she was not able to get ones advertised for less. That pair had no volume control and squealed and beeped every time she moved her head. He claimed the company had agreed to upgrade they would eat the extra cost before knowing it he was making molds of her ears and selling us on the other pair, which also didn't work well they hurt her to wear them and they didn't set up the app to control volume. We went back 4th time and was going to return them due to 30 days to return but he refused to take them claiming she was unwilling to let him fit them again thing is this would extend past 30 return. He is like a car salesman go in for a VW got out with a Porche you can't afford! He rushed through things and when signing papers his assistant comes in to announce his next client was waiting which makes you feel rushed and he just points and say sign here. Feel she has been taken advantage because they seem more focused on the money than their customers. Will never go back in this office where he works he was rude and manipulative. Now we have talked to company service little help they keep just repeating same thing go back to him felt like rugs been pulled out from under us. She's on a fixed income and 1hr drive one way to go to appt's with gas so high she can't afford this or a pair of hear aids that she can't use now and still being made to pay for them. Very upset because now my mother has been so stressed by this and has heart problems already hope she doesn't have health issues because of this! They are the worst feeding off the elderly! Misinformation and lack of information! When pressured to continue and she would not then he became more agitated and rude with us trying to turn everything back to being our fault and never admitting that he failed in many areas to fully inform us about things or do things correctly. So now what do we do to fix this? Mother called district manager to same double talk he's sure if we go back he would work with us to get them right in other words not returning them! Whatever it takes they want it past the 30 days to return.
