Mobicel excite laptop
My mobicelaptop is not starting. The problem that affects this neat pc is of the blackscreen. Unfortunately when I start it it's not displaying anything. This problem has been their for the last week and it is disturbing my mobicel experience which is something bad for the nice sabrand that's winni g the hearts of a lot of South Africans and abroad. So when I start the pc its blue lights are turning on to show that it's on but it's not displaying anything. Not even the mobicel logo, even when it charges its not showing the battery logo and its remaining in blackscreen mode please help me if they is any way I can fix it, if they is any key combination to fix it please tell me I need your assistance
Cell phone just stopped working.
Hi please help us my mom's carer bought herself a mobicell phone at foschini during last year. It has been fine! In december while she was here with my parents her phone literally jist went dead out of the blue. She thought it was flat so plugged it in. After charging it would still not turn on. She took it into the store she purchased it from amd there were lots of story. The phone is in a good condition except for a crack which has been there since sept! I told them it's not going in for the crack we will get to that it is going in to see why it suddenly stopped working! The phone was not dropped etc... The carer carries it in her uniform pocket except when in use. There has been no carelessness involved at all! The store tells me she has to pay for the screen plus 500 to send phone away at the end it will cost more than she paid for the phone! It's an absolute rip off! The lady then said she should just take it to one of these cheap shops to get fixed! This phone is still under warranty and she is still paying it off. Please assist us!

Software
I bought an excise laptop on 18 December 2020. I tried using the HDMI cable to connect to the tv. It wasn't working. So we did a reset it lost it operating system. Tried to load window 10 home with USB it lost all drivers. Did contact mobicell they sent drivers it didn't want to install. Speak to mobicell technician he told us to reset now it's stuck on blue screen saying please wait.

I been in contact with some1 from mobicel by the name of Penny.It was a pleasure to make contact with Penny all emails sent to him were answered in 10 mins and followed with calls.I am highly impressed with the service that is given to me.Keep up the good work.And i will recommend Mobicel anyday.I was so upset about my laptop issue but Penny showed alot of interest in resolving the matter.Thanks

I bought a mobicel rio from pepcel Fishhoek code 0361 and I wasn't told it's network locked. I asked after how long should I change the sim card to any network and I was told after 7 days l. After 7 days (last week Thursday I went to the shop only to find out that it's networked locked. I told the manager that I wasn't told that and she said her stuff are always right and I'm wrong. I called several times to customer care until I spoke to the manager Peter and they said I can't be helped. Is it a problem that I wasn't told that the phone is network locked because it wasn't even on the display at least to read for myself

On Monday 28th Sept at 14h57 I was at Maponya Mall Mr Price store this rude agent of you bullied for passing and accidentally stepped on her, she started clicking her tongue at me. Was part I felt uncomfortable purchasing the items I want to purchase on that because she was looking at me like she was about to hit. Anyway this behavior is u expect able and would like this to be addressed as this type of behavior can be categorized as assault and violating my right as a consumer. I have also queried this with the Manager at Mr Price if she doesnt want to continue working a valued company Mobicel she should resign as such behavior ruin the company reputation.

I bought mobicell r7 in december 2019, and it gave me a problem in march 2020 so beacuse its was lock down and the restrictions where tough shops where closed, when was charging the fone it was over heating and had no phone until I check my slip and saw I have a warranty for phone to be repaired, I went to where I bought the phone and found that the was a load shadding at flora centre ackermans theytook my details and advised thst they will call me once my phone is being fixed. To my suprise I receive the call stating I owe r714 if I declined neeed to pay r250, I call the number provided the person who was assisting me was very unproffetional, 1stly I send phone to the store they ddint not tell me if I declined I have to pay, 2nd I ddnt sign that I will pay if I reject the fixing proccess, 3rd I send the phone knowing its sti under warranty, 4th the phone switchng on but doesont charge was told it shows liquid damage while it never fell in water
And the current service I got was not in the right manner and and am not happy if I knew dat dey were going to be charges was nolt gonna send a phone to be fixed, I bought a fone r999 and being charged r714 thast not accetable I would requst my phone back and u can take it out with the store because they ddny infom me ref no381278

Astro storage issues
I am using a mobicel astro and ever since I bought it ihave experience d storage issues. It says I have insufficient space when I have nothing downloaded and when the space has inexplicably run low I get this pop up window that says insufficient storage and when I try to free up space the window blocks me from cacceaing files to clear my storage. What's going on?

Good day. My mobicel r6 touch-screen is giving me problems. It happened a few times already and I dont know how it fixed itself. If I press on an icon it opens up google. The keypad does work either and the back arrow doesn't work either. Can you please assist me. Like I said it happened in the past also and unlike he back arrow it was the square button on the right side. My software is up to date. The only app that opens is whatsapp and like I mentioned if I click on my facebook it opens google and 3 windows. In whatsapp I can only send voice messages. If I press on a letter it types a different letter.

Phone storage issues
In 2018 I purchased my child a Mobicel Astro. From the get go it was experiencing storage issues. We formatted the phone and still storage full everytime we tried to access a file. Then the phone was lost and against my better judgement I bought another one at Pep Vangate Mall. Same issue. I have an 8GB memory card in the phone, no photos, music or videos but cannot download a thing. This is pathetic. Anything I try to download to the SD card it doesn't even present an option for it.
Why does the system take up so much space? There are a ton of unnecessary apps which is not removable. I only have WhatsApp installed but my memory shows 3.92 GB used. Please resolve

We bought the phone last year for my daughter .
The phone started to brittle on its own along the side, it started burning her hands and the battery swoll up. We took the phone in january to the shop they so called fixed the phone . Then you get a managers saying they going to look for the phone then they say the phone has not arrived . When we went last weekend. The supervisor has a attitude saying she did call my daughter to say her phone arrived. When i told her but we were the previous weekend there to come ask about the phone her attitude changed.
We got it back on saturday . Phone felt heavier and it froze, side buttons didnt work rite and the ime sticker a person could see was tampered with . I bought Mobicel R6 at Markham in Springbok on the 16 of Jan 2020 10 days later the phone is freezing, showing the wrong time and keep on popping up massages saying my apps are not responding without even opening them. it takes forever to open apps and when someone calls me it takes forever to show the caller which makes it hard for me to respond because the screen is black. I returned the phone and they said they phone will be returned in 2-4 weeks time, still sitting here without a phone, this is so frustrating. When they do return it whenever I have to sit with a repaired phone while I paid so much for a new phone.

I have a problem with my mobicel V4 bought 4 months back yesterday its started with not responding while I was trying to take a pic while on whatsap then I switched it off then from the it ons normally and shows the mobicel logo then after that it becomes blank, tried and cleared all data through the up volume and power button then rebooted it took me through the process of setting it up then main screen now when I go into massages lets say its stays there I can not go back to the main screen then I switched it off again now there is just mobicel in a blank screen I suspect software problem.
ON THE 14/01/2020 I REPORTED THE BELOW PROBLEM WITH MY MOBICEL V4 AND I WAS ADVICED THAT I MUST RETURN THE PHONE WHERE I BOUGHT IT WHICH I DID WHEN I GAVE IN MY FOUN WAS STUCK ON THE MOBICE LOGO TO DAY THE 30/01/2020 I RECIEVED A SMS TELLING ME TO PAY R660 FOR THEM TO REPAIR OR 250 IF I CANCEL THE REPAIR WHICH I DO NOT UNDERSTAND THEN THEY TELL ME ABOUT PCB THAT GOT WATER DAMAGE HOW DID THE WATER GOT THERE I DON NOT UNDERSTAND AND I DO NOW UNDERSTAND HOW DOES THE ABOVE RELATE TO THE PCB COUSE THE FOUN AFTER FACTORY RESET STARTED NORMAL AND EVERTYING WORKED BUT WHEN I PRESSED THE BACK BUTTON IT DID NOT WORK AND WHEN I SWITCH OFF IT GOT STUCKED TO THE BLANK SCREEN WITH THE LOG BUTTON.

my foune did the same thing as well you lucky yours worked for the month after factory reset mine stuck on the logo then I sent it back to them now they are telling me about paying R660 and when I call them they are telling about PCB BOARD that is moist how I don't know and I did report the problem before sending it back they told me to book it where I bought it.

high data use
I have a Mobicel Astro, which I bought second-hand, and it is using a LOT of data for doing nothing - even just for running a USSD inquiry (i.e. to get a balance from the service provider) it uses 10 MB. This is ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. I have turned off all the syncing settings, and the backup setting, and switched on the "data saving" mode, but still no diference. Also it is using a LOT of battery (this may be that the battery is old / not charging fully). I understand why someone sold this phone - at any price!
