What a horrific online experience. Especially during the current situation. I have never been so disgusted with service online and in store. The staff at Mall of the South were very unprofessional and unconcerned with my situation.
I collected my order on the 17th December. Only to find I paid the full amount of R614.91 and the order Is short of 4 items. I called the service Centre on the same day as when I reached home to advise there were items short. They advised that I will receive a voucher in 48 hrs. I did not receive any voucher. I then went to mall of the south Mr Price home. Was there about 2 hours with the manager and she promised all is in order I will get a voucher emailed to me. on the 22nd December. Todate no voucher has been issued to me. Funny how your money gets taken but the return of what is yours is a long winded slow painful process.
Mr Price your service is rotten. I want to close my account.

I am highly irritated at this point not to mention the pathetic customer service.
I placed an order on the 25/11/2020 at Mr Price Home in Menlyn and to date I haven't received my order and I was advised this would take 5 working days. It's rather pathetic that I have to keep following up when I'm told they will provide me with feedback and to date no one has said a thing.
I need my order delivered AS SOON AS POSSIBLE I cannot wait over 3 weeks for something that was supposed to take a week, where is my baby supposed to sleep if you guys don't want to deliver the cot?
Not cancelling an order as instructed
I instructed mr price call centre 0800212535 to cancel a order 107660073792 but the order was only partially cancelled, I phoned 5 days straight and nothing! I'm still being charged! This is not right. I was given reference numbers but what for? This is basically fraud and theft. I phoned out over r150 airtime as I keep waiting in line just to be told the same story over and over...

I would like to say that I have never had to deal with someone in the HR Department of Mr. Price. and this via email to. She was so rude and unprofessional that I will never shop or take a account out with them ever again. Can't wait to be paid up in full. This is the 3rd time that they could not get my payments as I did pay online and they could not pick up my account details on the system as I left out a digit on my ID no. The lady by the name of Fiona Bhikapersad could of just scrolled down on the mail and checked on my correct id as I had the account number as well as my ID no so how can she not pick it up on the system is crazy. She was so rude and it's sad because I have had my account for so long and because of a admin clerk I will never open a account with Mr price ever again. Can't wait for my bill to end - Am doing a Internship for a shipping and this is not the way to handle your clients - am disgusted at this - Fiona Bhikapersad is not someone that I would have working in my team. If I don't get feedback sorry to say I will go to the Ombudsman to see how this will be addressed going forward. I dont go complaining but shoo had my account for a few years now - and because of this incompetent Admin clerk I will never shop at or open a account with the level of service you get and how HR can have someone like Fiona that does not even have a clue on client or email etiquette is sad.

Store efficiency
I wish to complain about the hour long wait in the queue at Mr Price Clothing, Makhanda. One cashier serving a queue that is nearly at the entrance of the store. Poor management when Mr P staff are walking around on the floor, and not seeing that there should be more cashiers! This service, or lack thereof, will lose you customers. Especially seeing that you are paying more for rental now that you moved into a bigger building.
I am trying to resolve a online query with regards to virtual gift vouchers purchased
I have a query with regards to online voucher ordered.
The call center which is suppose to be customer service has put the phone down in my ear. I have sent my query online 4 days ago with no response.
The whatsapp option is a joke! Absolute waste of energy.
So will the managing director maybe give service. His staff has no idea what that is. Or does the problem start at the top? At the highest level they don't value their customers and it filters down.
Gift card
Gift Card bought for R1000 at Mr Price Home Cape Gate Brackenfell Western Cape, for my son's birthday which was 27 July 2020. Gift Card nr 0325194280. Date complaint was raised 2 November 2020 with Mr Price Customer Contact Centre and again on 11 November 2020.
When we went to buy goods at Mr Price Home Tygervalley on the 2nd of November 2020 we were informed there was R0 (zero funds) on the gift card 0325194280.
I phoned Mr Price Home Customer Contact Centre on the 2nd of November 2020, they informed me the funds was spend on the 1st or 2nd of November in Roodepoort they provided me with a reference nr CRFD9A2PE. I had no feedback and phoned again 11 Nov 2020 Mr Price Home Customer Contact Centre and they said the reference nr does not exist. I have never had such an experience before at any other Retailer where my money on my voucher was not available to spend. I spend another 18 minutes with them on the phone with a lady Krishnie. I need this query to be resolved. I live in Cape Town the card was kept in a safe place in my house and I do not live in Roodepoort nor did I travel to the Province. I need my refund of my R1000 in either a voucher again or cash back. I was supposed to pay R255 for November but then decided to pay R1000, so I paid twice. R255 and R745.
I paid my account on the 29th of October and the money was debited from my account but it still says pending when I check my Mr Price statement.

I bought my 8yr son slippers on sunday for r79, am my son was very excited about them and today he decided to wear them and went out playing he came bake with them and torne apart am very sad about the quality thatmr price is selling and am never ever buying anything from them again they've lost a loyal customer course most of my son's cloths I buy them at mr price
I am complaining about mr price cashiers who do not know how to perform their duties
Am very much disappointed with mr price and their cashiers whom are busy promoting fraud at protea glen mall and jabulani mall in soweto, I just do not understand if is how mr price taught them or they are just ignorant, how does one sign for purchasing clothes while isn't an account holder and u approve, worse with a total different signature. Something needs to be done to these negligent cashiers of yours, unless if you mr price condone fraud as whole... Payment v/s purchase
Good day! I feel so frustrated with mr price that I have no idea where to start. Like I always do when time arrive that I have to make payment on my account, I get the stuff I need to purchase make payment and then in one transaction I will purchase my stuff. *just to keep in mind that the store I choose to purchase is not that close to my home* and therefore my time and proper planning is needed when visiting your store! The first time I experience this issue was a few months back, I made payment (standing in the que for an hour) just to hear after making payment that your processes have changed and that I can no longer make payment and immediate purchase which I find totally ridiculous (I have to now go in make payment go back again the next day to make a purchase)! I sort of adjusted to this frustration and the lady advised that it will be better to make my payment online and payment will reflect the next day and I will spare one trip in doing so! I did take the advise and used the online payment system and I made my payment early in the morning on 10/24 on sunday the 25th I took time to drive to your store to make my purchase and I could not due to my payment not showing! On monday (today) I took time (that I have to work back)! Just to hear the exact same story — payment have not yet cleared and again could not get my stuff (now they say it will take 4 working days for my payment to clear) and have to go back once again to try and make a purchase! Your system does not work! It is frustrating to any customer, it is a waste precious time and un-necessary trips and a waste in petrol use. Can you please advise what is the best way to make payment and a purchase not going back and forth in the hope that I will be able to make a purchase after making payment? Voucher issue
I received a voucher for my birthday in May (5 months ago) this year. Wanted to use it on 19 October at Tyger Valley branch. The cashier then told me that there is a R0.00 balance on the gift card. I have not used this voucher before. She found out from the finance department that the voucher was used on 25 October 2020.
How is this possible that the voucher was used while the card was in my purse the whole time & definitely never been used by me before. What happened to the R500 that my husband paid for the voucher?

14th October: phoned call center and resent photos of damage: was promised a response by end of day: no response.
Despite daily calls to mrphome call center every day and emails sent to Krishnie Maderay and emails to help@mrphome every day I have no indication as to when the unit will be collect for return and refund.
I do not want a replacement;the unit is very badly made.

Online order delivered incomplete
My online order # [protected] was delivered on the 23rd or 24th July 2020, however it was missing a shirt.
I have sent emails however I have had no feedback at all.
We have been in lock-down as I work at a medical facility so have been relying on deliveries and online purchases.
All I ask is that either the item be delivered to me or that I be credited on my online profile so I may purchase something else.
Sim - data top up problems
Since the start of my contract with mr price mobile it has been a struggle. I have to call every month for my data to be loaded. By the third week I have no data. What happens to it, I can not tell you. I have wifi connections at work were I spend most my time. I decided to cancel my top up and now they tell me I have to wait 3 months to switch and port my number. What kind of stupidity is this. What do I do for 3 months?

I went in too pay my outstanding amount of r400 so I could close the account, and then the cashier said the outstanding amount is over r1000. And when they showed me what I was charged for, I saw that I am being billed for insurance and etc.. Of which I never got asked to pay or to be charged, so I am not willing to pay for something I did not consent to.

Firstly the store was empty, there were just few clothes.
Seconds they don't ask for an email address when paying.
Thirdly, our purchased items where put in a black plastic bag, and when we ask for a proper bag we are told it's 30cents, okay fine I take out that 30cents. I could hear the ladies working at the till making nasty remarks for wanting a proper mrp plastic. I ended up just leaving with that black plastic.
