I received a virtual card from a class action through Equifax. I made a purchase and the transaction didn't go through like the 1st one did for whatever odd reason. I'm trying to get my money back. Paypal says pending, vendor has no record of purchase and Mastercard virtual card has the money deducted. I can't access online, can't contact anyone just automated. I want my money so I can use my money and move on. They need to make this easier.

Should they be uncontactable for further advice, proceed to card issuer’s bank. Raise a claim through PayPal and have them get it back from the card company. You can also report to CFPB if need be due to this poor conduct or misconduct arising from such an eventuality. Make sure they do not block your cash as a hostage.
