illegal deductions
I am in china on business and noticed opera is deducting almost daily from my mobile account. Due to the nature of my business, the small daily deductions are not noticed yet the last 7wks my mobile has been off and this is how I caught this illegal action by opera telecom
I have never subscribed to any of your services and as such I have requested vodacom to pull my billing and will back date the charges then hand over to attorney to proceed with waspa and vodacom.
You have 24hrs to stop the deductions or legal action will be taken.

content services on my vodacom bill.
I am very p...ssed off about the subscription service content that Opera Telecoms has billed to my Vodacom account.
Only after 3 months and R200 plus rand later did I pick up that you where billing me for a joke site my son must have inadvertently come across .
Now my son is only 11 so he clearly would not know how a opt out or a opt in subscription service works or is activated. ( I was also in the dark)
I am clearly not the only person that thinks your means of making a buck is devious, underhanded and opportunistic .
I hope Vodacom eventually tells you creeps to go F...ck yourself.
By no means am I going to let Vodacom off the hook either. ( Winter is coming )

illegal subscription
Good day. I am struggling to be reimbursed by your comapny for illegal sub scriptions. They are base bone media file silver deducting from tje 14th of april till middle july and the other one vid smile deducting from 5th of april. It is now more than 3 months. The cell phone number in question is [protected]. So please make a plan to reimburse me as soon as possible. And stop doing illegal subscription on my accounts.
unauthorised charges | cell phone billing
I raised a query with my service provider as to why my monthly charges were unexpectedly escalating.
I have subsequently been informed that ‘content service charges’ at a rate of R15.00 per day respectively, have been levied onto my account since 30 December 2016.
I strongly dispute these charges as I have never been, and am not interested in receiving such content. And during December, I was also on vacation at a remote holiday resort with no WiFi access, so I could not therefore not have been in a position to request such services. In the circumstances, I am expecting a refund in the sum of R2, 027.20, calculated as follows:
• January 2017 - R477.16
• February 2017 – R518.20
• March 2017 – R578.92
• April – R452.92
ampup mobile
My cell number is +[protected]. I see on my billing that you have collected from my account for the last month (started 17/2/2017) without my consent.
I have no idea who you are and I most definitely have not been supplied with anything from you. I have cancelled the "subscription" but need my funds debited to my account at Vodacom refunded immediately.
I also need to understand (proof) of how you managed to debit my account without my express permission.
I need to know what you think you have provided me that you think you are entitled to debit my account therefore.
Charges on my mobile phone bill
In December I was charged 4 premium texts at £1.50 each from this company but did it receive or send any of these. I also have 3 on my January bill but again no premium texts in January. These charges have only started happening since I upgraded my phone. Please can you stop these and refund my money as I am clearly paying for something I am not receiving.
Unauthorized billing on cell phone, cannot cancel subscription
I changed to a contract service and new phone network beginning October 2016 and on the 15 October they have been taking R5.00 per day for a subscription" Phonecrystal" that I never subscribed to. After numerous attempts to cancel the subscription with the network they still continue to take my money. I have wasted R250.00 and don't even know what the service is for? How can I be refunded?
Money taken from my mobile phone account that I did not request or subscribe to
Hello I have been advised by my mobile tel provider that since I visited USA in October 2014 that I have been billed for services re bundles that I did not request or authorise. This went on for a period of over 12 months and only ended in December 2015 when my mobile phone was changed and a review of my account and costs was completed. I have rang opera telecom on four occasions now and been told that someone would ring me right back but this has never happened. I would now like to make an official complaint and be refunded all of the money which was approx £7 per month x by 15 months. Many thanks from Sarah fitzsimons tel [protected]
Unauthorised debits to my mobile number
Opera Telecom (in conjunction with Vodacom and Odori Tech) act as the legitimate WASP mobile content provider. They farm out some of their business to not so legitimate operators (Odori Tech) who debit "subscriptions" to your mobile account.
When challenged no one can help you credit these costs to your account - they all refer you to Odori Tech who gives a rats ### about you as they have made a profit from you (they pay some of this over to Vodacom/Opera Telecom) for assisting them in this "endevour".
Cell phone billed
I've been billed on my Cell C account for a subscription service listed as Opera Online.I receive a link from them every day or so, and this is billed for R17.23 each. I’ve never even accessed any of those links. I’ve tried numerous times to unsubscribe, but to no avail. I have no idea how I was subscribed in the first place, as I never requested this service. The total amount of money stolen from me is already over R800. I do not know who to contact to stop this service, and get our money refunded. Can someone please help me to get this matter resolved? I am considering legal action, ...
Unauthorised
Zuma Mobile is charging me since June 2011 for a service they alledged that I have subscribed for. I have NEVER subscribed for any service with them. Amounts to the value of approx R350 has been deducted from my account, without any consent. Please investigate.
When I phone them this morning they quickly disconnected the service without me even asking. This is totally unacceptable. I have not subscribed to any cellphone service whatsoever.
My service provider, Altech Autopage, cannot assist me at all and informed me that it is a matter between myself and the company concerned.

The total amount of money stolen from me is already over R500
I've been billed on my Cell C account for a subscription service listed as Opera Online.I receive a link from them every day or so, and this is billed for R14 each. I’ve never even accessed any of those links. I’ve tried numerous times to unsubscribe, but to no avail. I have no idea how I was subscribed in the first place, as I never requested this service. The total amount of money stolen from me is already over R500. I do not know who to contact to stop this service, and get our money refunded. Can someone please help me to get this matter resolved? I am considering legal action, as this is daylight robbery.
Unwanted and unsubscribed service
I have picked up in my itemised billing service costs for which I didnt apply or use. It is itemised as Access point- Opera Telecom and a cost of R12.28 has been deducted a total of 12 times over the last 2 months. I havent received any notifications or options to opt out evn though I hadnt aplied for the service in the first place. Isnt this kind of thing illegal? I demand a full refund from this company.
Opera telecom are a bunch of crooks
This company has been sending me mmses that i cannot even open but later you realise that money has been taken from my account.i want my money back as i didn`t authorise anyone to just take my hard earned cash for their stupid homemade whatever.how does network operators allow this robbery to continue.they already took R220 in two days that i cannot even use calling.remove me from your **** list and get a proper business to run.
Billing underage children
My account was billed by Opera Telecom, downloading Switchfire2 9696 to the amount of over R 700 on my January Statement. I asked Vodacom, my service provider how they could allow this. They said they could do nothing, I must have accepted an SMS invitation to download content from Opera Telecom. I could phone them for my phone number to be taken off their list (phone number [protected]). I did this and the person answering promised they would. I am however not happy with what happened. My son uses this phone. How can a company download content without being sure who is at the recieving side (a minor child!), and how come my phone billing can be charged in this way.
This kind of billing and behaviour is abusive and crimilnal - it equals being raped.
Billed for content services I didn't subscribe to
For the past 3 months now I've been billed R81.53, R34.19 and R105.20 for content services I have never subscribed to. Nashuamobile referred me to Opera as they are the responsible party. I've tried calling Opera but I keep getting a voice prompt telling me that their office hours are from 8am; I've been calling since 8:15am!

I have gotten 2 text messages from MB Mobile selling ringtones and downloads. I never went online and activated this account nor would I ever. I just ignored the text. I called the company this morning @ [protected]. I spoke to a Bren (If thats her real name) and she told me I did go online and activate this account. I never did. She did nothing but try to speak over me the whole time. There service is 9.90 a month. Then they even tried to double bill the portion again doubling it. She was very rude and a real !@#$%. She said she would put in for my refund but made a point saying that I was the one that activated this account with the pin. I never did. These people are frauds and I am also reporting this to the FCC.
After doing more research on this company I found out the following information. MB Mobile Interactive is owned by Media Breadaway 1490 W. 121st Ave. #201, Westminster, CO 80234. Media Breakaway is a registered LLC in the state of Nevada but the company is actually foreign owned. And guess where? Africa, the number one country with most identity theft, credit card fraud and all other types of fraud including this type. The company has changed officers quite a few times. I have filed complaints with the FCC, Nevada Dept. of Corporations, State Attorney General of Nevada and T-Mobile my cell phone carrier. It took me some time to figure this out but I have contacted Media Breakaway via email and complained about the customer service rep and the fact she is saying that I did log in to there website. I did not. Additionally, the time and day she said I logged in to their website I was in my car on Rural Route 66 in Arizona coming home from work. These people are frauds and rip-offs. Beware people. They will not listen to you. They just talk and talk and talk to throw you off.

Since the 11th of November 2015 Opera Telecom have been billing me R17-54 everyday at 22:41 in the evening. Who the hell are they and how do they get access to our phones. I have not received anything for the R17-54 I have been charged everyday!
i also received this text message this morning from Trinidad
I am also just a victim of Opera Telecom (or MBmobile) scam. I was charged twice. Each charge is $9.99. The total charge is $20.00. I did not order or authorized. THis bill is also from Tmobile. My case is exactly the same as "sal1997". What should I do to get my refund back for those scam charge. Where should I contact to report this scam and what should I do to prevent this scam happening again. Does anyone help me or give me any ideas ?
THank you very much.

Bogus charges
Unauthorized charges were deducted from my cell phone account !
How is it possible for a company to deduct money from your service accounts?
Why isn't this illegal?
Isn't money paid into an account intentionally meant for services from that provider only ?
I have been victimized and defrauded - luckily for only @ $20 -
I emailed my complaint to both pr @funmobile.com and [protected]@funmobile.com -
called their [protected] # to obtain refund and order cancellation -
It takes vigilance to maintain integrity and oversee one's accounts and persistence to resolve disputes.
unauthorized charges
I am being charged several charges for ring tones that were never used, service was not used. Having a hard time getting the charges taken off the cell phone bill for theses two companies. Why is it so hard to find information on this problem? these companies need to find out if a minor is signing up for services so this doesn't happen.
