I had a subscription that I paid for through Apple for services that cost 3.99 per week. This worked great and did exactly what I needed it to do at the time. I cancelled the service on August 4, 2024. I noticed that I have been charged with a $40.00 per month subscription from November to February. I did not authorize this. I have 2 boys in college and have had health issues with MS so I did not catch this sooner. Please refund my money.

This is what I call the classic “silent upgrade” scam. Apple is relying on you not catching the fees. Make sure to dispute every charge with Apple as soon as possible and they should be willing to give a full refund. If they push back, escalate through the bank. Also, looking over your subscriptions periodically is key as companies such as these live off of unactive individuals noticing their dubious payment practices.
Hello, vendor representative's here. Please note that Apple is not directly related to charging those fees, in this particular case they are just a marketplace.
Also, in our observations, refunds initiated through Apple are very rarely resolved in customers' favor. And refund requested through banks take forever to be processed.
As we are dealing with refund requests on a daily basis, we would strongly recommend -- not just with our company as a vendor in question here, but with any other software company -- contacting Support directly. Every company has a dedicated Billing Team, and processing requests through them is the easiest and fastest way to get your money back when you've changed your mind on a subscription or forgot to cancel on time.
If you also have a charge from us (pdffiller.com or airSlate, Inc.) and you need a refund, please follow the procedure I've just described in the comment to this post.
Thank you.
