Pick n Pay Incompetent customer service

I am typing this email in capital letters for you to understand I am furious.

See the reference number below.

I placed the order at 11:04, confirmed the change of address at 11:14.

I was assured that because my work address falls under canal walk as well, which is closer to canal work than my home, that it would be delivered to my work address.

I called again at 11:52 to confirm the address has been changed and the lady assured me yes it was and she would call the driver as extra assurance.

It was not!

The driver called to say they at my home address!

I called again and spoke to a young man who hung up on me!

I have to apparently reorder the order I placed over 2 hours ago.

Desired outcome: FOR FULL REFUND. OR FOR MY ORDER TO BE DELIVERED WITH A CALL FROM MANAGEMENT TO EXPLAIN WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED!

Pick n Pay Im complaining about the cashier

Yesterday at 13:16.I went to Protea North Pick n pay.I needed to with draw money as little as R150.00.The cashier by the name of Mpho Mokoma was so rude to me.I greeted her she didn't respond.I asked her to withdraw she gave me attitude and tell me that she doesn't have money.Does the Pick n Pay staff go for induction? Im not happy about Protea North Pick n Pay cashiers behavior.The date:26/10/2023

Pick n Pay The bakery

Yesterday I visit a outlet at Sam Ntuli Mall, the Baker and the store manager, under the instructions of Eden Park police, keep on selling me poisonous food's, I bought milk and fatcakes that had, something harmful in it, that makes my throat bleed, the manager before I let, held her hand on her lips as a order for me to shut up, it's now the third time I been sold that I been sold products that have poison in, I fear that if I continue to buy products there I might lose my life, I am going to file a lawsuit and sue the store manager and the Baker, because what they are doing is a crime, thank you for reading this complaint

Pick n Pay Service and product

Hi

On Sunday 8 October 2023 I visited the Bakery at Pick n Pay at Arbour Crossing, Amanzimtoti. I wanted to order a big Black Forest cake, and a Cheesecake with granadilla topping. The manager on duty told me that they did not have granadilla topping, so I settled for lemon toping.

I was given a paper to write my name, cell phone number, my order, and the date and time for collection. I did this, then I was given a receipt to go and pay for my order, which I did. I paid R250 for the cake, and R220 for the cheesecake (as per the slip I had to hand over back to the bakery). On the paper that is in my possession, I wrote that I would collect the order on 14 October (Saturday) at 09:00.

I arrived at the store at 09:10 to collect my order, but I could only leave the store at 09:40 because of the appalling service I received. 1st, only the cheesecake had been baked - with incorrect topping which made it look like the black forest cake. 2nd, no black forest cake was baked. 3rd, I was given a lame excuse that they could not understand the order. 4th, they told me that the person who baked the cheesecake was not employed by Pick n Pay. 5th I was blamed for the misunderstanding. I was confused as to why they wanted my cell number if they could not phone me to clarify the order. The level of incompetence and inefficiency is intolerable. I ended up taking a stupid-looking cake mixing brown and pink. I hate this store.

Pick n Pay Poor customer service

On Sunday the 8th of October 2023 in the afternoon I went to Pick n Pay at The Bridge asked for R50 electricity from the cashier(and I paid with R200 then after I got R50 change back from the cashier because she had made a purchase of R150 electricity and thereafter she claimed that I asked for R150 electricity while I never did such as I only wanted R50 electricity because I was going to use the R150 to go and purchase my sick child's medication but with the unfortunate event I could not even be assisted with this issue even after a manager was called I was just told "sorry" and that I could not be refunded although it was their cashier's fault no amends were made I was just shouted at and told that it was a mistake . Never shopping at any Pick n Pay store !

Desired outcome: I would like to get a refund if how it's done I don't know but I need the money for my child's medication, I have a 10 months sick baby , I'm unemployed don't have any money .

Pick n Pay Provident fund and (UIF FUND) pick n pay observatory

I left PICK N PAY Observatory service on the 24 August 2023 ,

UI9 is dated 24 Aug 2023

PROVIDENT Claim form is dated 24.08.2023 signed off

PNP stated my exit as 30.09.2023 which is wrong- if they say this date

it means they owe me 1 months salary

this means my Provident payout is delayed for 3 mths

I just want my money, My money is delayed purposely, to prevent payout

i did speak to an Agent today 05.10.2023.

he said he only recieved the form today

HR is slow and does not help staff who struggles to get their money

also the form was incorrectly completed

my UI19 Is also not paid in - my UI19 CLAIM WAS REJECTED

because no payments was recieved

can you please help

Desired outcome: i want my payout be to early, as i waited more than 5 weeks alreadyi didnt get my UIF Money payout ,because was the fund did not recieved ny contributions from PNP OBS

Pick n Pay 8 ps chicken braai pack were rotten horrible smell

Good day on the 3th october 2023 at 17:05... I went shopping at pick n pay centre point milnerton bought eggs nd a 8 piece chicken braai pack on markdown for r59 a bargain though who wouldn't however myself nd family visiting the mall for the 1st time but we're more dissapointed never the less got to our department unpacked bags chicken were put in freezer, this morning took it out to defrost then got a terrible horrible smell we checked to my shock the chicken were off nd rotten nd the date on the pack were sell by :03/10/2023 - use by :03/10/2023 telling me the chicken were off for quite sometime nd no manager or employer took it into concern that they are dealing with customers nd jst changed dates all the time... After checking the rotten chicken we immediately took it to the store actually 1st called the store twice with no answer I then asked the security by the door to call a manager which he recommended to a lady named phindiwe I then asked her how can u guys sell rotten chicken to ur customers I was told that u need to eat it immediately shocking cause imagine we made it the same day as purchase it would have been the same problem cause it were sold rotten nd joked about it being markdown to another lady nd a customer they were busy with, customer service are horrible with no apology another she then went to another guy sitting on a fone called mr yusuf okunye he bare acknowledged me as a customer he jst went on with his conversation on the fone the customer service are horrible nd retail are clearly not were they belong me as a customer also dealing with customers on a daily were very discussed with how they treated me nd spoke to me even when asked for the guy name he shouted i'm busy with a customer on the fone disrespectful I would like for them to be dealt with accordingly nd would like feedback nd apology from who ever accountable for all the inconvenience

Pick n Pay Fraud

I'm not okay. On Monday I sent my helper to pick n pay Birchleigh North with card to buy a few items. I didn't know she had never used a card before. The items costed R134 only. At the till she handed over both the bank card and Pin to the till operator. The till operator put the card on the machine and she is also the one who punched the pin. My helper then left the shop

1 hr 30 mins later I started receiving messages from the bank about transactions that have been made. There was a purchase of alcohol from Tops which was R16 000, a withdrawal of R3 000 and other items. Altogether the money that was used was R21 000. We quickly blocked the card. In trying to figure out what might have happened we realized the card that our helper had returned home with was not even ours. We went to the shop presented our case to the supervisor expecting them to reveal the cctv footage.

At first they said the supervisor with access to the cctv room is not on duty but they will check and send to us via a video recorded.

On Tuesday we went to the shop they refused to reveal the footage. Up to now they are refusing.

Help me guys what do I do next. I'm not okay.

Pick n Pay tv warranty

Good day

Trust this email finds you well.

I am writing this email with utmost disappointment with the service I am receiving with regards to my TV.

When I bought my 55” Skyworth TV I was told that I would have warranty for when something happens to that TV but today I am given a runaround when that service has to be delivered. I brought back that TV on 12/08 and was given 21 days turnaround time but as I am writing this email I still don’t have my TV back. After 2/3 weeks of taking in my TV I was told Cape Town couldn’t fix the problem that it had to be moved to Joburg, a week later after that Joburg I am told I lost my warranty due to cockroaches ruining my TV therefore I am getting my TV back as is. How is that even possible? Why would that take this long to determine that? Why wasn’t I told that before it went to Joburg because it doesn’t take a genius to figure that way out that you guys are taking now?! I was then told my matter would be escalated but the lady that was assisting us came back saying nothing is being done with this matter therefore she will request my TV to come back as is but still nothing from her. I want that warranty service delivered to me as promised.

This is the worst service ever, I have never heard or experienced such ever!

Pick n Pay Aggressive employee

I went to PnP hypermarket to return pants and there were only one person helping. On my left hand there were 2 ladies chatting, rather loud. I asked them if they maybe they can help me while chatting and Onica started crapping me out because why am I saying the word chatting. I was not aware that the word chatting is a bad word and that it would trigger her aggressive behavior. This is seriously rediculous and I think the people at the pnp paypoints are rude and does not know how to behave professionally. I honestly does not like to shop there and will go out of my way to not shop there again. I forfitted my points previously and wil gladly do it again because I cannot not support the rudeness. I will also share my experience with family and friends.

Desired outcome: Onica needs to apologize to my daughter and myself,which will indicate to me and I know pnp management takes rude behavior seriously.

Pick n Pay 1 year quaili save store birthday competition

I have entered a competition which i got a response that i have won , i went to the store with the information the manager told me she doesn't know anything about it and she brush me off by telling i mustnt believe it and that its a scam even after showing her the prove that pick n pay send, she said no. I called the customer care no and lady didn't really help cause she send me back to the store and said i must call her when i get there, my problem is why must i call, why cant they because the manager doesnt to me , the managers name is Penny Masina at Vereeniging pick n pay quali save my contact no [protected] mj taiwe

Pick n Pay Customer service at the deli

Dear Customer Service Manager,

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to express my concerns regarding the level of service I have experienced during recent visits to your store, which I hold in high regard.

While I appreciate the efforts of your dedicated staff, I have noticed instances of slower service in certain areas, particularly at the Deli counter e.g 2 workers serving 1 person on a Friday ,it does not matter if the order was big . I understand that there may be various factors contributing to this issue, such as high demand or staffing challenges, and I believe there's room for improvement.

I would like to emphasize the importance of providing efficient and timely service to customers, as it greatly enhances the overall shopping experience. Customers often have busy schedules, and prompt service is a key factor in their satisfaction.

I suggest considering measures to improve service speed, such as optimizing staffing levels during peak hours or implementing better training programs. I waited almost 20min for the chefs to help me wit a slice of cake ,as I arrived at the cake window I found 2customes who were also standing there for service,they were helped after 5min,after them I waited for someone to help me ,the colleagues continued to chat ,a gentleman approached and they continued chatting wit him n helping him,I was still right there at the cake window still standing,they continued to help the gentleman which I believed he is their colleague who jst knocked off judging from their conversation,after a while that gentleman says to those ladies " u forgot to help this lady" n they started asking which lady,by that time I was already fed ,I left the store ,can

Pick n Pay Meat

Today I went to Pick n Pay hyper in Durban North and bought lamb chops and oxtail when we opened up the chops to packet and freeze it smelled off I took it back and they refunded me. I then opened the oxtail tonight to cook and it smelled a bit funny but decided to cook it and see when cooked we tasted it and it was also off I am now very wary to buy meat from Pick n pay

Pick n Pay Service

At around 10:50am today 09/09/2023 I went to do groceries at Pick n Pay hyper Maponya mall when I was about to pay at the till point and asked the lady if I can withdraw some money and also my payment is partially Motyme credit then the outstanding balance is cash she said she has no cash in the mornings then we proceeded with the transaction she then said to me her Motyme payment option is offline, she then stood up to call the manager her name is Ursulla a colored lady which she came to the till and just rudely told me the motyme is of no use at Pick n Pay groceries u can only use Motyme for appliances which this totally led me to leave all items I was about to purchase.

Tymebank is yet to confirm this with me but I feel this is very bad service from the till lady and the manager which embarrassed me completely

Good Day!

I forgot my cellphone at Vosloorus Pick n Pay on 1st September 2023 at 12.10pm in the afternoon. When got to my car I realised that I left my phone at the lotto counter, where I only played lotto, and when I went back to enquire, my cellphone was gone. I went back to the store on 3 September 2023, and requested the manager in charge to check CCTV video footage from their cameras. He dilly dallied and told me that the cameras are somehow not working. I

Pick n Pay Cash back

Whenever I am at Pick n Pay liquor @Philippi Junction Mall to ask for cash back I am told that in order to get cash back I must purchase something, if I remember correctly I think this started about 3 months back(on my experience). The first day I encountered this I was in a rush and I didn’t really put it in my head but now it is becoming a norm because everytime I go there for cash back I am told that I need to purchase something and then I can be assisted. This takes place at Pick n Pay liquor store not the grocery one, in my knowledge, as a customer of Pick n Pay I am eligible to get cash back at any Pick n Pay till that has the money I need available, it can be at the kiosk, liquor store or grocery tills. Another recent event which occurred right before the end of July, I went to the liquor store to get money that was sent via Capitec Cash Send and I was told it is not done at the liquor store which became a big shock to me because I have never experienced such from any other Pick n Pay branches but this one. Please speak to your staff or you will lose valuable customers because this is very unprofessional of them. What I would like is a statement on the entrance indicating that we as the customers of your establishment are allowed to get cash sends or cash back at the liquor tills without being told that we need to purchase something first or that the services I am asking for are not done at a liquor store, so that I can be comfortable in you rendering these services to your customers as it should be. I am a very unhappy customer as this has occurred to me in several occasions now.

Desired outcome: What I would like is a statement on the entrance indicating that we as the customers of your establishment are allowed to get cash sends or cash back at the liquor tills without being told otherwise.

Pick n Pay Order not received

I ordered huggies(nappies) for my baby. The time was 16:15, til 20:00, my order is not here. My baby run out of nappies, the money already went out of my account, now I don't have money to buy else where, and my order is not being delivered. It has been saying waiting for the driver to pick up. I'm really not happy cause my baby has no diapers to wear now. I have been calling and emailing with no response.

Pick n Pay Charges at till is always higher then marked up

Almost every week I have to check price charged at till to what is displayed on product. This week it was tomatos on special for R8. At till charged original price if R21,99

Last week it was cream cheese charged R42,99 at till, was labelled R39,99. When I complained they said it's the merchandiser fault. Shocking to blame someone else.

This is a strategy of PNP to charge more at the till as 99% of people never check

Desired outcome: PNP to fix this for the sack of all South Africans that shop there.
