Popeyes the meal in general

went to medford NJ popeyes this afternoon and ordered a 5 piece chicken meal. asked for no wings, was told I would get what they gave me and no substitution. ok
then asked for the sides to be larger and I would pay the surcharge. nope- cant do it.

in this day and age, I can shop at least 15 places for lunch. guess what? no more popeyes for me. bad enough that I cant even sit down inside...

you could have made more coin from my bill- but you adamantly refused me- the customer. guess what- bye bye!

Popeyes 4 piece 50/50/mix

I have always had good luck with the quality of Popeyes...but I have been slowly disappointed in it in Corinth MS lately...This last time was the absolute worst... it was dry and old and just not good...please check into whats going on with this store...Your chicken has always been my favorite, the red beans and rice are wonderful...please check intp what is going on with this store...Thank You...Bill Reiselt

I order a 11 piece meal. I paid for a 11 piece meal; when I look into my box I received 8 pieces of chicken. I am very disappointed with our service. My sister purchased the family feast but didn't receive her macaroni. What is going on here. You should be happy that I'm continuing to go there. Because I had food poisoning when I ate their chicken nuggets which was raw in the middle.

Went to popeyes in vicksburg ms and ordered a 12 piece they charged me $29.00 for a 12 piece of hard old chicken. I realized after fact of driving almost home how much they charged and aint no way it should have been that much for a 12 piece. The chicken was hard like it had been sitting under a light all day. Popeyes Charged for Online Order Not completed

I attempted to place an order on December 8, 2021 online for pick up at the 10, 220 Highway 6, Missouri City, TX 77459 but the system kept locking up but it still charged my debit card $27.24. I ended up placing the order at the location at 4850 Highway 6, South, Missouri City, TX 77459 and I was able to pick up the order and was charged $26.48. I have the store receipt for this transaction only.

I would like the incorrect charge for $27.24 credited back to my debit card immediately. I have already filed a claim with Chase bank to reverse this charge. Please reply.

Popeyes Service and Food

12/11/21 9:32PM [protected] Eastchase Pkwy Fort Worth, Tx 76120 Order 38

After 20 min in the drive-thru line and watching a car ahead of me leave, I should left. I didn't, wanted some Popeyes, so stayed. After another 15 minutes, I finally get to place my order. That took another 7 minutes because the fool taking my order turned the mic off several times while I was trying to give the order, then when the mic was on he was yelling into the restaurant to the other workers, Spanish and English mix, "what happened?", "when", , , , etc. Sounded like complete chaos in there. At first, he said my order was $98 and change. My response was "nope you better check that again", then he gave the correct amount. So, I move up in line to wait another 15 minutes, finally, get my food. AND a look inside. Dirty floor, dirty counters, dirty everything. Oh and I watched 3 more drive-offs, one after they placed their order. I checked the food before I left, except didn't check the actual chicken box and asked the guy if the biscuits were in the box and he said yes.

So how was the food? We were shorted 1 biscuit. Only 1 of the 4 biscuits we did receive was edible, the rest had raw dough in them. The cajun fries were undercooked and tasted like the fryer grease was "off", we ate maybe 6 of them. The chicken was greasy and when I say greasy I mean POCKETS of grease, we ate 3 pieces and gave up. The only thing really edible was the cole slaw and they put two single containers (maybe 2 tablespoons per container) and called that a large.

Bottom line, I paid $27.05 for 1 biscuit, 4 tablespoons of coleslaw, 3 pieces of chicken, and the joy of waiting 50 minutes for it. Probably risked my life too, considering how filthy the restaurant looked.

After seeing all the negative reviews I this does not appear to be a single store issue, looks like a pattern of bad service, bad management. You just lost a customer.

Popeyes popeyes service

12-4-21store number2896 402 e main st apopka fl, 32703 slow in store service i was able to walk out to my truck after ordering and return to another couple minute wait. order was just two breasts, no side or drink. no vehicles/cars waiting at window. eight employees were talking about a young employee going to strip club. no one seemed to care about a simple order. and yes i could see a lot of chicken already cooked and waiting to be served, so cooking was not an issue.

Popeyes A 3 Ring Circus

I've gotten use to waiting 20-40 minutes in the drive thru, so I was pretty excited when there were no cars in front of me when I pulled in, only to find the Manager and two employees back there informing me that the speaker did not work, and I had to go inside to order. There were only 2 people ahead of me and 3 waiting on their order. I placed my order and waited alongside the others. I watched as Larry, Moe & Curly were working upfront getting EVERYONES order wrong. They were all jockeying about who's order they were working on. That should have been my second red flag. An older gentleman mentioned to me he had been waiting 45mins for his order, so I was surprised when my order was handed to me before his. That should have been my 3rd red flag. I was so exhausted that I just wanted to get home and didn't check my bag. I should have because it clearly was NOT what I asked for. The 'chicken' was overdone & inedible. The only thing they got right was the 5 biscuits that came with MY order, Order#63 on 12/04/21. I'm a regular and I did not recognize any of these folks. I can only surmise this Popeyes is under new management.

Desired outcome: Even though I thankfully had a coupon, I would like a refund.

Popeyes Order Mix Up

Hi, I have been eating your chicken for years. There is a new Popeye's franchise in Round Rock, Tx on FM620. I have read complaints by neighbors on the NextDoor App, but I thought I'd give them a chance. First of all, they were out of some of the sides, and when I order my chicken I asked for all dark and mild. When I got home it was mixed and spicy! I tried to call the restaurant, but their number has a recording and directed me to your complaint/customer service. I don't know how this can be fixed since I can't reach them directly and the chicken was too spicy for my palette. Thank you for your attention.

Popeyes Driver named Dognimey

I live 10 blocks away from Popeyes #1649. Location 601 Malcom X Ave., SE, Washington, DC 20032. The Driver in question Dognimey took my order to of food to Oxon Hill, Maryland first. Which is about 25 - 30 minutes from the popeyes' location. Then brought me my order. Which was ice cold. My order was for 3 mild tenders/biscuit; red beans & rice and coleslaw. I don't have a microwave. So I could not warm up the food, the only thing I could eat was the coleslaw. I wasted $24.00. Being on a fix income, I can only eat gout one a month if I'm lucky. I am requesting some type of refund. Question: why does the receipt on the page with your order has one amount on it. Then, when you print out your receipt, the amount is totally different.

Hello, I had drive through at store# 12178. The server Isabel asked us to approach window instead of taking order at microphone stands and was constantly chatting with employees instead of focusing on taking the order. She handled the order in plastic bag after we repeated 3 times our order. When we came home we noticed the order had missing parts, including classic chicken sandwich. When we called store, the manager said he cannot give refund and I have to drive back. I said I couldn't and he said he doesn't care about that, thats all he can offer me. I cannot drive back and I asked if he can organize delivery, he was very rude and said he doesn't care what I can and what I cannot. I asked to be more friendly as I usually don't complain, but he hanged up on me. When I called back he said he is repeating he doesn't care and I can go ahead and complain. The order is made at 5:20 PM.

Desired outcome: I expect refund of product I wasnt delivered in my bag and change in manager at store 12178 and cashier Isabel who didnt care about the order.

Popeyes Continued wrong orders and bad management in handling the issue.

I have visited this location a few times and there's always been something wrong with my order. On the last two visits, I've received the wrong order, so today I decided to call and speak to a manager to let her know that the fries on chicken sandwich combo were missing. I tried to explain that my receipt confirmed that I had in fact ordered a spicy chicken combo but instead of getting fries, I got mac & cheese, which I did order a side of but that was additional to the combo for which I specified I wanted fries. Additionally, the receipt listed an extra side of mashed potatoes, which I did not order. I only order a side of mashed potatoes for my other meal but not an additional side. Instead of listening, she argued with me and proceeded to hang up on me. I called back several times but none of the calls were answered. My wife and I proceeded to drive back to get our order fixed and the manager had the audacity to charge us for an order of fries. At that point we were done arguing, paid for the fries, and let the manager (who refused to provide her name) know we would file an on-line complaint. Needless to say, she didn't care! From this point on, we will AVOID THIS PLACE!

Desired outcome: Refund amount of order as well as the second order we placed for the fries and management training for the managers in handling customer issues.

Popeyes Spicy chick sandwich

We were served moldy bread! Quality control should never allow this. Also wrong food given and no sauces given. Worst fast food experience in several years.

Popeyes False Advertising

Made an online order for the Popeye's Bigger Family Feast. It supposedly comes with 5 chicken sandwiches, 5 apple pies, 5 biscuits, 12 pieces of chicken, and 2 sides. The app stated that the order would be ready by the time we picked it up. The total for this order was $66.00. Upon arrival my wife waited 20 minutes for the food, while four other couples came in ordered and left. When my wife got home we got 5 sandwiches, 5 pies, 5 biscuits, "5" pieces of chicken, with 2 sides. I called the Puyallup Washington Popeye's where we ordered the food from and spoke with the manager who told me that a special coupon was needed to get this bundle. There is nothing on the internet that states a coupon is needed. I am very disappointed with Popeye's, and believe that they should be more up front with there advertising.

Popeyes Spicy chicken sandwich

On 3 out of the last 4 times I went to popeyes, my chicken sandwich visually appeared to be fully cooked but had a rubbery firm texture when biting into the thickest part of it which leads me to belive it wasn't fully cooked yet. This happened at two different restaraunts. I did return them and the replacements (2 of the 3) were still not tender so I ate the thinnest part of the chicken which was tendere and threw th rest of the sandwich away.

Desired outcome: I would like to see more consistency in the quality of the sandwich. Maybe the thick part needs to be tenderized/pounded flatter before cooking?

Popeyes Product

My Mom 84, and I just came back from Horseheads NY and stopped in Popeyes to grab some dinner on the way home from her doctors appointment. We got a 12 piece with potatoes and slaw. It was in edible. We ended up having tuna fish. Pretty upset we spent $35- $40 on something we had to through away. It wasn't busy and everyone was nice. As nice as you can be in a drive through . No issues or anything but...
The chicken had a funny taste we didn't finish a full piece.
The potatoes were ok but tasted like they were all pepper?
The slaw was runny and old.
The biscuits were rock solid.

Desired outcome: Refund of some sort.
