I have been eagerly expecting and keeping track of my parcel since the vendor sent me the tracking number.
However this list of issues occurred and have yet to be resolved :
1) the parcel missed its connection the first day, resulting in me having to reschedule a doctor's appointment the following day in order to be home to sign for the delivery
2) on the day of the delivery, at 5:15pm I verify the tracking to notice that a delivery was attempted at 4:56pm but there was no one home. I have been home all day and expecting the parcel, however the driver did not ring my unit, and there is no special buzzer required (only the apt # which the driver clearly indicated on my delivery attempt notice). The doorbell is excessively loud in my apt so there is no chance I did not hear it.
3) no secondary attempts are scheduled; the notice states I must go pick up the parcel in person, which is on an industrial boulevard and I do not own a car (which is why I cancelled my appointment today to be home for the delivery)
4) I attempt to use the Virtual Assistant to chat with an agent, no agent are available and no method to log a complaint online or find a solution to my problem.
5) The next available delivery date is not tomorrow but rather only Monday, and I cannot pick up my parcel on weekends.
6) I attempt to call Customer Service at 5:45pm after attempting to needlessly use the Virtual Assistant online, and am left on hold for 1h45mins, no one picks up, I finally give up (nearly 2 hours exceeds my patience level).
I wish it to be known that I use Purolator every day where I work so I am extremely familiar with the service. I even received a parcel at my home 2 days ago from Purolator with no issues. Today's service, in all regards, is deplorable and beyond sub-par.
