As I walked into the store I frequent daily this security officer rudely approached me claiming he had contacted me earlier that day I assume whomever he did have confrontation with was asked to leave based on his words and definer. To which I told him "you have the wrong person bud" he said "no it was you" I said "no I haven't been here today" he said "yes black, same shirt with a hood"! At that point I told him"so because you think all black people look alike you think it's me"? I also said "you know damn well it wasn't me because your looking at my [censored]ing face" at that point I began to get angry at the situation in it's entirety. Ultimately he told me to leave and I did but not before I told him exactly what I felt about his receilly motivated actions. I expect something should be at very least said to him about his actions because I'm very close to meeting with my attorney about the discrimination and embarrassment I experienced at the hands of your employee my name is Joshua McMarion and I can be contacted at [protected] or [protected] I would appreciate a correspondence from someone about this matter timely. It’s completely understandable why you’re upset, especially after being wrongly accused and treated with clear bias by the security guard at QuikTrip. Mistaking you for someone else based on assumptions, particularly with the comment about your appearance, only escalates the situation into a very serious issue of racial profiling. Being a frequent customer, this experience must have felt all the more unjust and embarrassing.
