A real estate broker missguided regarding a closing attorney in roatan
Good day, my name is Susy Bell,
I am an American Citizen that recently contacted Remax Real Estate broker Annie Miles from the Roatan, Bay Islands of Honduras Remax Office located in Jackson Plaza, Mt. Pleasant, Roatan 34101 in the Bay Islands of Honduras. She recommended I use a closing attorney of the name Jorge Lafosse and fortunately another broker from another brand informed me he does not have a very high Law Degree of "Lawyer Exequatur Notary" from the supreme court of Honduras, only Lawyer Exequatur Notaries of the supreme court of Honduras can draft, handle and authorize real estate closings in Roatan Honduras, any simple attorney like the one Mrs. Annie Miles recommended is actually prohibited by Honduran Criminal Law and the transaction can be annulled. My potential investment was jeopardized, I have been put at a huge risk. This is extremely unethical and ilegal and irresponsable by Remax Roatan .I will not use Remax for my Investment in Roatan as now I do not trust the information they provide regarding closing attorneys in Honduras. Apparently they have agreements with this attorneys that do not have the academics nor supreme court authorization to handle a real estate transaction in Roatan
Regards
Susy Bell

Absolute 0 stars!!! Usman Shaikh is the most horrible agent ever. I feel bad for the owners at 117 E camden ave, moorestown NJ. They trusted him with their home and to maintain it. Online it states the home is available immediately. Since mid-February me and 2 friends were interested. The agency of Remax unlimited rushed us for all paperwork just for us to...

Good day Dear Remax International, I am an investor in Latin America, I contacted Mr. Larry Schlesser (I have email proof) in REMAX Roatan in the Bay Islands of Honduras for advise and possibly a potential investment through Remax, he recommended I use a Closing Attorney called Lisa Asfura or Jorge Lafose. Luckily I also asked a friend in Roatan about thi...

The agent of Remax (Sao Miguel, Azores) showed me the wrong property before the conclusion of the contract. He already admitted his mistake and I have it on camera. It was clear that I only wanted the land shown to me and not the one which is mistakenly in the contract. I already payed a down-payment and want my money back. But the director of Remax Sao Miguel is not reacting to the claim. I consulted a lawyer and will proceed with legal steps if I don't get my down-payment back soon.
selling of home
To Whom It May Concern: I have sold my home through Remax and I am very sorry that I did. The agent I had was more interested in closing the deal and then protecting my interest. She essentially helped the buyers push me out of my home. The real estate agent I am referring to is Tara Lauterbach. The points below is how she handled the selling of home...

We advised the agent that we are moving in today as we have given the seller enough time to move out but he is missing in action, not taking our calls. The property is locked and nobody knows where this person is. We need urgent response we have nowhere to go with two kids.

This guy is nothing but a lying, scam artist. Talks super fast to try to manipulate you into thinking he's helping you buy/rent a place for the best price but he's only concerned about making a quick buck at anyone's expense and then takes off. In 2013, my Father fell outside his home the night before his closing date. He lay on the ground for hours and was finally found by a neighbor. He was taken to hospital with broken hip and hypothermia. 4 hours later his agent, Sharon Norton, failed to protect his rights or property by proceeding with the closing, WHILE HE WAS HOSPITALIZED and to add insult to injury she agreed to penalize him $5, 000 for not getting all of his belongings out of his home, BECAUSE HE FELL AND BROKE HIS HIP AND WAS HOSPITALIZED.
She could have delayed the closing until he was able to finish his move and SHE DID NOTHING resulting in the new owners throwing away the property in house including his clothing and family heirlooms that we can never get back. They also kept his riding lawn mower and snow blower. When we asked them to return them they simply said no. All this happened because Sharon Norton failed miserably in her duty to protect her client( my fathers) interests.
These people should be avoided! They are driven by greed at the expense of human dignity.
unsolicited real estate agent was deceitful, lied, unprofessional, and cost me a sale
As a For Sale By Owner (FSBO) I entered into a real estate contract with a buyer. Prior to signing the contract I asked the buyer if they were working with a real estate agent, they said no. A few days later a real estate agent who they had dealt with a few months earlier, wanted me to rewrite the contract so he could be included. I told him no, he had nothing to do with the transaction. I called the buyer if they wanted to pay for a realtor and they saidno. Over the course of the next two days, this agent lied to the buyers, divulged personal information about the buyers to me, lied to FSBO management making them believe I was eliminating him from the transaction and therefore he was being cheated out of his commission. When that ploy didn't work, he told my buyers they earned the 3% and they were entitled to it (I am not kidding I have it in a email). My buyers demanded the 3%; however I told them they weren't entitled to the 3% and neither was the real estate agent. The real estate agent called my wife and belittled her trying to tell her about HUD-1 Settlement Statements, she promptly told him she was originating, processing, and underwriting loans before he was born as we owned a mortgage company. He promptly hung up on her! As a result of lying to my borrowers about the 3% and admitting it in an email to me (not my borrowers) my buyers cancelled the contract. As a result I am losing $100.00 a day! Worse the RE/MAX Punta Gorda broker of record has not contacted me although she was courtesy copied on her agents emails. I have written the CEO of RE/MAX, blogged twice, will contact the Florida Division of Real Estate, Florida Attorney General, BBB, and blog as much as possible. Agents such as this should NOT be transacting real estate business. It will interesting what his management will do-probably nothing or who knows he may be Realtor of the Year. As far as I am concerned he should have his license pulled. I would sue for damages but my buyers LOVE this guy because they transacted business before with him and I am confident they would lie. Fortunately, I have the lie about the 3% due to the buyers in an email and have another witness to that fact. Additionally, the realtor showed a house to the buyer a few weeks before; therefore I believe this was a purposeful ruse to have my contract cancelled so he could receive a 3% commission. a desirable resolution would be the same I suggested to the broker of record, she assign her real estate army of agents and find a buyer for my house otherwise $100.00 a day accumulates significant money very quickly.
Paid for landscaping such a shame, got scammed! Got scammed on sale purchase of the home too from gina sullivan
This has nothing at all to do with my wife with Gina trashing her on this site as she is fighting the battle with cancer which Gina Sullivan knows this for a while now along with her co-partner Cora too, then to trash her on here with her faulty landscaper that I paid $500.00 for in fixing water system on the house so the plants do NOT die, which she is the realtor that listed my house for sale that works for ReMax at:

This is to do with business that I did in fact pay for, it has nothing to do with my wife at all. Yes there was a hold put on the money with Pay Pal being work that was Not preformed on the landscaping that was paid for I paid for winter seed in the grass as well as the water system to be fixed and the trees to be staked with tree stakes from the hardware store with not using fence posting and/or motor cycle tie down straps. Oleander plants were to be same in height. Weeds there with not killing them nor putting preventative down with knowing all the rains in what I paid for. Grass areas were to be edged that were NOT done at all. Dead plants pulled out and thrown in a pile over the fence. Grass not winter seeded, water timing box to water all landscaping was NOT in fact fixed at all. So more plants and trees are dying due to her faulty landscaper named Tilo at [protected].
You may NOT want to list your house with her at all, there in fact was a gun missing out of my home January 2017 which she is the only one that knew that there were guns in my home (a police report has been filed) and she in fact stated that she smokes marijuana. I cancelled the listing with her, she kept the key to my house and did NOT mail it back to me for which locks on house had to be changed. Her husband is not a federal law officer at all as he claims, he is nothing but a POS liar is what he is, for my next door neighbor is a Buckeye police officer and his wife Heather knows Gina very well and they told us.
Gina said that they would put carpet squares back on back porch and asked where the 2 were that were missing, she was told where they were then I get to my house and this is what else was missing too that she just had left like that, her along with her co-partner Cora. They also stated it cost money to clean my house when in fact it was spotless when it was left and they listed it. They threw all my stuff out in the garage in the heat so it ruins it when in fact was told NOT to put anything at all in the garage due to the heat. $200.00 pictures were thrown out there along with a almost $300.00 cat tower for the carpet to come unglued on it as well as other stuff too. She puts your toothbrush under the sink, and puts your nice bath mat rugs in the closets but then leaves squeegees in the shower, she also puts your dish soap in your nice ceramic kitchenware cabinets and hand soap too with not putting it under the kitchen sink for which I think half her brains are missing if you ask me. She did not do what was asked her to do in caring for my house while it was listed. She is a very bad realtor in listing your house and with begging you to list it with her too.
When Gina first sold this house to me, she did NOT disclose water well conditions with the home as well as the water fountain in the back yard did NOT work, nor did the landscaping water system with leaking for I had 2 landscapers there in fixing it; and for which block fencing was not put up with footers in the back yard in scamming me on house price that was only worth originally at that time $284, 000.00 and she charged me $335, 000.00 for it with the inspector missing all kinds of things wrong with the house. Should NOT be dead plants or trees in January at my house. This realtor lady named Gina Sullivan is NOTHING AT ALL BUT A SCAM, DO NOT LIST YOUR HOUSE FOR SALE WITH HER not unless you want your stuff stolen and for her to scam your money as she has me.
Gina Sullivan's Co-partner's information that has scammed me along with her as in Gina Sullivan.

"red carpet runner" quality and horrible service
AWFUL. Ordered a "red carpet runner" for a classy corporate event. They sent us a thin, horrible, crappy piece of of material. It looked NOTHING like the photo.
Then, their TERRIBLE customer service- wow. They will not send return label but we will pay more in returning then the item itself! I've asked for Management to call me SEVERAL times- at least 6 times- and still have not received a call.
Cheap, crappy products and just awful service all around.
ryan homes / buyers need to be represented by licensed realtor
Buyers should be represented when doing business with Ryan Homes in Harrisburg PA. I'm a licensed agent with RE/MAX in Camp Hill, Harrisburg, PA area, and referred a client I’ve been working with for 8 months to them in February 2016. I made the appointment, escorted them, and went through the process of choosing the home they desired. My clients chose to go home and think about it, a reasonable decision. When they returned, Ryan Home’s builder's representative had them fill out a new form eliminating me as the referring agent.
I’ve been told that one of the initial statements given when a buyer comes in unescorted by an agent is, "If you don't have an agent you receive $5, 000 in some credit or some other questionable benefit." I don’t know how often this occurs but can verify it happened. (The credit in whatever form, if it even exists, comes to the buyer whether they have an agent or not, but the builder's representative gets the FULL commission if the buyer doesn’t tell them they are represented.) Buyers are put in the awful position of taking the perceived credit, and doing wrong by their agent that referred or represents them, and purchasing the largest investment in their live without representation. I will be bringing independent buyers who have been told this to a court hearing if it goes that far. Those who have been told this, or something similar are asked to call or email me to discuss. I have a couple already but more statements will help our profession stop this unfair practice and allow buyers to be represented by licensed Realtors who will do what's in the buyer's interest, not Ryan Homes or Ryan Homes builder's representative.
I don’t know what this particular Ryan Home’s builder’s representative’s integrity is worth, but I know it’s not a dime over the buyer’s agent’s commission of the purchase price of the home.
If Ryan Homes is practicing this unfair business practice, they may be doing other things that will not be beneficial to buyers. I strongly suggest you are represented by a licensed Realtor wherever you’re located.

they weren't able to fix the problem
We rented the unit from ReMax Ocean Surf and sun Costa Rica Ocean Lyrics. We stayed there for 5 days and on the second day the toilet wasn’t flushing. The office of this company was on the same street, so we went there, but it was closed. However, it was 10 a.m. and their office worked from 9 a.m. -5 p.m. We also called them, but there was only one lady, who said that no one was in the office. She promised that someone would come and fix it, but the manager hasn’t even called us back. Don’t rent through this company.

unethical sales - horrible experience - yazen hadden
We recently bought a house through one of your Agents, Yazen Hadden, and were greatly unsatisfied with his services. A good majority of the information he relayed to us turned out being false and, although we ended up getting a house through him, my wife and I were sickened by his sales strategy. Anytime we had a pressing question he would mysteriously not be available or on an unexpected vacation. He told us things that we wanted to hear, not the truth, and made promises that never came true. The last promise was of him stopping by to check on us and drop off a gift for all our hardships (ex: 50 day escrow) but never heard from him again. This agent needs to be reviewed for his non-ethical sales strategy. This was our first home purchase and we want to warn all to stay away from the sales agent if you live in Southern California. Unethical and lies are what best defines Yazen Hadden of Remax.
lies, deceit & disgraceful service
In August we submitted our offer to purchase. Accepted and the process started. On 1st view of the house it was clean and all the damaged parts hidden. On 2nd view in Oct, most faults were visible. When asked about it, Ansie stated it's not her problem. We had to beg and plead to get the fault list on the house as well. When we asked when the registration will happen, we were told only end of Nov as they are withholding the registration for a simultaneous transfer WE WERE NEVER INFORMED ABOUT. Promises were made (in writing from both the lawyer and Ansie) that the registration will be completed today and occupation will be 1 Dec. Today we get notified that the registration has not been completed. Let alone that we have a house to vacate the 1st and contractors to pay as of the 1st, the whole process has now been delayed for over a month without any shame. All transfer cost were paid on request without hesitation. These people have no shame in wasting your time and costing you money once they received their part. This is the worst service ever received. If the person paying can't be considered, why even bother? Estate agency board will be the next step.

fraud
I had an excepted offer on a home in Boxford Mass but the house failed the home inspection needing at least $150, 000 work. The seller offered to reduce the price $100, 000 but at the advice of the inspector we walked. Our real estate agent knew the failed inspection results and got another buyer to but the house once the home owner patched up some of the problems. The agent then threatened us, called us frauds and liars. The agents husband told me he knows Greek gangsters who are gonna pay us a visit. The agents wife, who is a very large woman offered me oral sex on 2 visits to the home and once in her office. She told me her husband and her are having problems. She took 2 deposits from us and has not returned the money but claims she did. Andrea Anastas and Neil Anastas robbed us of $6000 and then have told lies about us. They are snakes. Do not trust REMAX IN TOPSFIELD OR ANY PLACE IN MASS
I dealt with Andrea and Neil as well. They were pushing me to buy a home I didnT like but it was their listing. The home I wanted was with Century 21 and they had nothing good to say about the selling agent and poor comments on the home. I was with my sister at an open house they had in Boxford and Neil kept checking out my sister making her feel uncomfortable so we left.
florida timeshare scam
My wife and I purchased two florida timeshares, the first one in 2004 at westgate resorts in orlando, florida, the second one in 2005 called tempest resort now known as diamond resort international. When our children and nieces where younger we traveled between both timeshares between [protected]. When haven't used either one in 6 to 7 years and paying on the maintance fees every odd year now since out children and nieces are grown we decided to sell one of them to get out the maintance fee, a customer service representative named debbie sumpter with remax preferred choice properties, inc told us she can definitely sell our timeshare with westgate lakes resort & spa for $25, 000.00, market # 217791 that was four years ago, a few minutes ago I called [protected] to check on the status of our timeshare to see if their were any potential buyers their telephone number was turned off I went to check their website all listings were removed. I gave them $450.00 for what! It was a scam I called them three months ago a representative told me they are slowing down with sales because of the economy in essence they were closing up shop! How do we get our money back! These time share companies have know problem selling you the properties but they won't buy them back and you can't even sell them or give them away! Min. home buyers worst nightmare
Think 4 times before having Wendy Hulkowich as your Realtor. She works for the Remax DFW Associates broker. She is the rudest and most arrogant person I have ever dealt with. She puts her monitory interest in front of the customer's wishes and likings about a certain house. She forces you to sign agreements and makes offers of her own although you went with an offer that you are comfortable with. She is not a 'people' person but as long as everything goes according to her wish she is fine. Or else she is the worst nightmare you can possibly have. I am new to the DFW Area and she pretty much took advantage of that. She writes derogatory and threatening emails if you don't listen to her. I have proof of all that. So please be a smart person and go with someone else for your realtor needs. All the testimonials I see on her website is from her kith and kins. I could recognize some of the names because of working with her referrals for Mortgage, HOI, Home Warranty etc. This is a WARNING from one innocent buyer to another.
