My order is taking a week to get to me. Being with out a car for a week is a real pain. Usually have parts from you within a couple days. This will be my last time ordering from this company. I would consider using a different carrier. Three or Four days, I get. But eight is crazy. Now I'm stuck waiting. I should've went to Autozone or O'reillys. Still waiting.
Faulty part
I bought an oxygen sensor part # 2344646. Ever since I installed this sensor, my engine ran poorly. My fuel mileage dropped from 28mpg to 6mpg. I replaced the rockauto sensor with a new one and the vehicle ran like new again. This sensor was faulty from the start. I spent many hours and money changing injectors, plugs, filters, catalytic converter only to finally try another new oxygen sensor. I never thought the new sensor could be the problem. I would suggest you remove this part # as an option.

There was nothing in the website description indicating that the part was remanufactured. See photos. The original part numbers have been ground away. I can purchase a new part at the Ford dealership for just several more dollars.
I returned the part, however, RockAuto made me pay for the return shipping. I did not use the part. I retuned it immediately in the original box due to the misrepresentation in the description. There was not way to contact RockAuto to speak with customer service.
Desired outcome: Credit to me the fully amount of my purchase. Do not deduct for return shipping costs.

I paid to have Order [protected] delivered Friday. It was in my home town Friday, but was not delivered, it shows status "On Hold" and will be delivered on next cycle. I emailed DHL to say they did not fullfill their obligations and want a refund. I get tired of being charged additional costs for expedited delivery and then it does not happen. The reason for not delivering is not my concern, all I know is that the agreed upon terms were not met be RockAuto and DHL. And since I paid you and you pay them, I am complaining to you as well as they are your sub-contractor.
I expect a refund for the additional shipping cost from someone.

Buying parts
I ordered several times to order a fuel pump and each time your system stated my phone number was wrong for both my checking accounts. and so I canceled those duplicate orders and then used my American express same crap. I am livid. I need that part. I called and got the UNNAMED RECEPTIONIST. I left msg that I want a call back ASAP. my number [protected] or [protected].

ordered parts from Rock Auto first part of ordered showed through fed ex last package never made it couldnt find my address again called fed ex 3 days in a row finally told them to send it back I had to get parts to finish customer vehicle notified Rock Auto that didnt receive package and they have to let fed ex know to return to them they send me a return shipping label I told them pretty hard to put shipping label on package I dont have they tell me they will refund my purchase when they get package and fed ex wont return it until they contact fed ex putting this out there so people can see how they operate hopefully it will save people from getting ripped off like I did,wont buy from them again and wont purchase from any company or person who ships with fed ex

Vendor refuses to accept return unopened product for which I disputed payment via CITI credit card. CITI found in behalf of RockAuto for shipping charges. That process took 33 days. After hearing the resolution, I was willing to pay all shipping charges for unopened package, but RockAuto will not accept return since return was over 30 days after initial receipt.

I placed an order with 3 items totaling $107. Before the items shipped, I cancelled 1 of the 3 parts. I received the two parts I wanted, which is good. However, my bank account still shows the $107.00 I paid initially for all 3 items, I have not seen a refund back for parts that were cancelled. Rock auto has no way for you to communicate with them. They claim there's a way to "report a problem" but I have yet to find it on the website. All you can do is arrange for a return. There's no place to report a problem.
I've tried calling their corporate office but no one is ever available to answer the phone.
Desired outcome: Please refund the difference back to me for the parts I cancelled from the order.

Thieves. Returns impossible; they move the goalposts over and over for more info to find any random way to pretend it's your fault. You won't ever get a refund or return.

Shaft on water pump broke.
My husband purchased a water pump from Rock Auto. The shaft broke off the water pump. This caused damage to the radiator, power steering pump and several hoses. After contacting the manufacturer of the water pump as listed on their website. We found out they are not an authorized to sell auto parts. They falsely advertise a manufacturers waranty. Now we are stuck replacing all the damage that their faulty part caused.
Desired outcome: We would like Rock Auto to reimburse us for all the parts the fan on their water pump damaged.
Order 193301621zumbrota raa4341918 (dana 30 differential) remanufactured front differential
This axle was sold as having Quadra-Drive. Instead, it has an open differential. When installing it, I found that the left axle did not stay engaged when the axle was torqued, and the right axle would not insert all the way. I called the text support number for ZUMBROTA and made three calls trying to get the information I needed. I was transferred to a line on the first call and left on hold for 45 minutes before I gave up. The second call went a little better until the automated attendant terminated the call during the middle of the conversation because I didn’t press any key to continue the conversation. Still, I did get the information that the axle they shipped was not a Quadra-Drive axle. So on the third call, I asked for the part numbers for the axles that fit this differential and was given the part numbers for very high-end axles and the wrong dimensions. This $2000.00 part is going to cost me $5000.00 and a hundred man-hours when it is all said and done. This is not the way I am used to doing business, but I guess this is the rockauto way.
Return of wrong part
Jan. 19th ordered part # GMK4033233705 part arrived Jan.22nd Order # [protected]. Tried to return part because it was not the right part. I could not return part because their system would not recognize my contact information (phone number or email address) therefore I could not complete the return process. Rock Auto does not have customer service by phone or email. I could not contact anyone at that company anyway at all.

Sold me incorrect sized injectors
Bought 8 injectors (97 Ford F-150 4.6L) on November of 2021 before Thanksgiving/Christmas/New Year Holidays. Due to Covid and backlog of work, my mechanic was unable to install until January 2022. Discovered that the Flow Rate (LBS/HR, PSI, BAR) and number no of ports on the injectors don't match OEM requirements, even though Rock Auto's Automated Website said they would. Tried to return them on 1/6/2022 but its been past the 30 day return policy (like who's has been open during Covid and the holidays?).
I've used Rock Auto for years and ever since they went to an automated system its now impossible to speak with anyone.
Desired outcome: I would like my money refunded or credit given to me and I'll send these back.
Defective fuel pump assembly
I purchased a new fuel pump assembly from Rock Auto. The fuel pump assembly failed within a couple of weeks. I contacted Rock Auto and they instructed me to send the fuel pump assembly back. I sent the faulty fuel pump assembly back to Rock Auto on 11/27/2021. On 11/27/2021 I received an email from Rock Auto that they would "refund back to my original payment method" within 3 business days after tracking information shows their warehouse has received the return. The email stated they would email me when the refund was issued. I did not receive any email from Rock Auto. I sent a reply email on 12/5/2021 stating that I did not receive the refund back to my credit card. I did not get any reply back from Rock Auto. On 12/29/2021 I sent another reply email to Rock Auto stating that I did not receive a refund back to my credit card and have not received any email from Rock Auto. On 12/29/2021 I received an automated email from Rock Auto stating the email could not be received because ticket [protected] has been closed. I tried to call rock Auto by phone, but they do not answer customer service calls they instruct you to reply online which i have tried with no response. I contacted my bank today to see if Rock Auto issued a credit refund to my credit card and Rock Auto has not issued a credit to my credit card. I am requesting that Rock Auto refund my credit card $206.33

Bought parts they were defective, won’t take return
Went online and looked up parts for my cars convertible top, purchased parts for my convertible top from their website, had to order another part from their website still no luck,
Took my car to a professional convertible top mechanic and found out the parts that I had put in were defective, tried to do a return and was told they couldn't take them back because I ordered the wrong parts
These parts were ordered per their website and fit perfectly
I don't understand why they won't take the returns
I have all original packing and boxes for returns but there's nobody to contact to get this done
They don't even have customer service phone service which to me means the company needs to be removed from the Internet immediately
