I ordered a couch set in Sept 2022 and was delivered in January 2023. They claim it is top grain leather but I have had the couch set for 8 months and it is peeling. I keep the couch and loveseat covered until we have company, which is not often. It is just my husband and I so no young kids. The love seat has started to peel on the bottom cushion, we do not even sit on the love seat that often. We had rooms to go come out, yesterday September 14th and look at. The employee who came out to take pictures agreed that this should not be happening and it was probably due to the wrong coloring of the leather. I received a phone call today, September 15th, saying they will not cover it and it was due to "normal wear and tear". The couch is 8 months old. I spoke with Nick in the service department and I told him this was unacceptable, he told me that is all they could do. I asked to speak to a manager and he said that is not possible. I told him I would escalate this. I did my research on "top grain" leather and it states it should not peel and that it is suppose to be one of the best typed of leather. I paid $4200 for the set.
Desired outcome: I would like the loveseat replaced or take the whole set back and return my money if the set is truly not "top grain" leather.
