I purchased the Dylan’s sectional couch and took a screenshot of the item with the white glove delivery included for plus members after calling several times to figure out why my order wasn’t progressing and the delivery dates being changed constantly I needed to know when it would be delivered, so I could have my other furniture, sold and moved out of my living room I finally received a call last night about the delivery date canceled my plans today so that I would be home when it arrived, and they put it together only to find out the delivery man was by himself, and there were no orders for him to bring it inside or set it together for me I spent about 2 1/2 to 3 hours on the phone today with two different supervisors And three different representatives to tell them about my situation where I was at first basically called a liar and that it wasn’t on the webpage so therefore I did not have the white glove service after hanging up with Dreka and she offered $150 credit. I found the screenshot that I was talking about originally in this Complaint, I emailed it while on the phone with another supervisor to show them that I was not in fact lying, and after waiting on the phone back-and-forth for about an hour again, she told me that they would not be reimbursing me anything else and that my only option was to contact the company and have them set up a date to come out to my house and set up the furniture that was supposed to be included which is part of why the reason I purchased this item because I am a single mom with six kids I now have the boxes sitting in my driveway with promise of rain since I live in Lynchburg Virginia happening tonight or I can spend money out of my pocket to hire a stranger to come over tonight before it rains and bring in these really heavy boxes in and set up the furniture for me I am furious. I have an empty living room and we cannot go without furniture for days. If not weeks especially with me having six kids obviously somebody dropped the ball. I was accused of being mistaken when I knew what I had read when I purchased the item and now because of somebody else’s mistake I have to either suffer with my furniture getting ruined, and there is no refunds or returns. I’ve already checked that, or come out of pocket a couple hundred if not more dollars for somebody to come over if I can even find someone Tonight. $150 is not even worth the headache that I have had to deal with today. I believe I should get a much higher reimbursement for Sam’s mistake or the suppliers mistake should I say.
Claimed loss: Potentially $2500 if I can’t find somebody to move these heavy boxes into my house tonight before it rains
Desired outcome: I want a reimbursement equal, if not more to the price, it costs to have the white glove service provided.
