Please refer to my email thread below for your reference which points to the fact that the refund policy of Shopee is defective. For several years already, I also purchase in eBay using PayPal and their policy is much more mature and really protects buyers from unscrupulous sellers. I never had a similar disappointing experience in eBay. Shopee should change its return policy.

Note that I have reported the ff. seller https://shopee.ph/shop/20850616/ as a scammer. This seller deliberately delivers even if he has no inventory with the right specifications and/or colors. The seller knows that he is delivering a product with a different color and expects customers to just accept it. If the seller does not have the proper stock, the seller should have cancelled the transaction so a refund can be properly issued.
I was victimized here and Shopee should not allow these kinds of sellers. I hold Shopee co-responsible for this.

Again I do not have time to return items especially that it is the fault of the seller who just decided to deliver a different color from what was ordered. I should not be inconvenienced to have to return the item and the seller should make arrangements for pick-up of item from my house. Shopee should change its policy on refunds especially if it is the fault of the seller. So disappointing!
