Shopee Shopee.com's $1 Lucky Draw Promotion: A Scam or Miscommunication?

I recently tried out the $1 Lucky Draw promotion on shopee.com and wanted to know more about how it works. I reached out to their customer service team and was informed that if I wasn't selected, I would receive a $1 refund. However, I was not informed that the refund would be in the form of shopee coins and vouchers that would expire within a few days.

Feeling a bit confused, I decided to reach out to customer service again to clarify the situation. To my dismay, I found out that I would not be receiving any cash refund after spending $4. I even emailed shopee.com and was surprised to find out that they changed representatives without informing me. All I received were apologies and excuses that they couldn't do anything to help me. They didn't even offer to compensate me for my loss!

When I asked if there was anything they could do, they simply told me that's not how it works. I was shocked that their customer representative had miscommunicated with me and now I was left without any recourse as a consumer. Is this really how things are supposed to work?

In the end, I felt cheated out of $4 and felt like I had been scammed. It's disappointing to see a company treat their customers this way and not take responsibility for their mistakes. I hope shopee.com can improve their customer service and be more transparent about their promotions in the future.

Shopee Disappointing Experience with Shopee: False Advertising and Poor Customer Service

I recently had an experience with Shopee.com that left me feeling disappointed and frustrated. I was looking for a special gift for my mother-in-law for Mother's Day and stumbled upon a live channel on Shopee called ypxxb888.Sg. The host was selling a beautiful jade bangle that was supposedly premium A grade, untreated natural jade. The host claimed that the bangle was worth at least $500 in stores, but was selling it for $288. I thought I had found a great deal and decided to purchase it.

However, when the bangle arrived, I was shocked to see that it looked nothing like what was advertised. I even went back to my screenshots to confirm that I wasn't mistaken. Despite my disappointment, I still believed that the bangle was made of genuine A grade jade, so I gave it to my mother-in-law.

Unfortunately, my mother-in-law started experiencing itching whenever she wore the bangle. Concerned, she took it to a pawnshop called ValueMax to have it examined. The experts there used a jeweler's magnifying glass to examine the bangle and found that it had been bleached, dyed, and then polymer filled. This was not the premium A grade, untreated natural jade that the host had claimed it was.

I tried to contact Shopee Singapore to see if they could help me with this issue, but unfortunately, the guarantee period had already passed. I also tried to reach out to the online seller, ypxxb888.Sg, but they refused to acknowledge my concerns and blocked me from contacting them through the Shopee platform.

Overall, I was disappointed with my experience with Shopee.com. While I understand that mistakes can happen, I was frustrated that there was no way for me to get a refund or have my concerns addressed. I would caution others to be careful when purchasing items from live channels on Shopee and to do their research before making a purchase.

Shopee Shopee Malaysia Review: Unprofessional and Untrustworthy Shopping Platform

I recently had an experience with Shopee Malaysia (shopee.com.my) and I must say, it was not a pleasant one. While some people may have had good experiences with their purchases, I was not so lucky. I received damaged items and even the wrong items, and when I tried to get help from Shopee, I was left to deal with the seller on my own.

The sellers on Shopee are very defensive and often reject return and refund requests, or offer only a small amount of money to encourage you to keep the items. This can be frustrating and disappointing, especially when you have spent your hard-earned money on something that is not up to par.

If you do decide to return an item, Shopee only allows 3 days, including weekends, to do so. If you miss this deadline, your case is cancelled and you are left to deal with the issue on your own. This can be difficult, especially if you have a busy schedule or live far away from the post office.

Another issue I had with Shopee was with their product rating system. The ratings are managed by the seller, which means they can delete any negative reviews. This is not fair to buyers who rely on honest feedback to make informed decisions about their purchases. When I tried to report this issue to Shopee customer service, I was told to question the seller directly. This is not helpful and does not solve the problem.

Speaking of customer service, I must say that my experience with Shopee's customer service representative, Suganty, was not a good one. She was not helpful and sounded frustrated, which only added to my frustration with the whole situation.

Overall, I do not think Shopee is a trustworthy shopping platform. It seems unprofessional and even like a scam at times. It is clear that their main priority is to benefit the sellers and make money, even if it means ignoring the needs and concerns of their buyers. I would not recommend using Shopee for your online shopping needs.

Shopee Shopee Malaysia Review: Disappointing Experience with Unresponsive Seller and Poor Policies

I recently made a purchase on Shopee Malaysia and unfortunately, it was not a pleasant experience. I spent a few hundred ringgit on an item and was disappointed to find that the seller was unresponsive when I tried to follow up on the shipping status. After waiting for two weeks, I decided to cancel the order, but the seller only responded to my chat after I made the request. To my dismay, they informed me that they would not cancel my order because it was already in the process of being shipped.

To make matters worse, the extended Shopee guarantee had already expired and the seller had still not shipped out my order by the date that the Shopee system had promised to 'automatically' cancel my order. However, there was no automatic cancellation at all. I contacted the Shopee team and was told that I had to wait for another 10 days. The lady I spoke to assured me that if the item was still not shipped out by then, the system would 'automatically cancel' my order. But this turned out to be a complete joke. The system never automatically cancels your order, and if the seller refuses to accept your cancellation request, you can say goodbye to your money.

Honestly, I would recommend going with Lazada instead of Shopee when it comes to issues like this. They have better policies in place to protect buyers. Shopee, on the other hand, was a complete disappointment. *thumbs-down

Shopee Disappointing Experience with Shopee Malaysia's Customer Service: A Review

Shopee Malaysia (shopee.com.my) is a shopping platform that has been causing me a lot of trouble lately. I have had several issues with my orders and have had to call their customer service multiple times. Unfortunately, my experience with their agents has been nothing but frustrating.

The first time I called, I was a bit confused about how to handle my order problems. I was directed to a second agent who ended up dropping my call. I tried again and spoke to a third agent, but halfway through the conversation, the call was dropped again. Today, I called for the fourth time and was told to activate my Shopee Pay account if I had paid through a retail store. I followed the instructions and activated my account, but the agent then told me that he couldn't give me my refund through Shopee Pay and that I had to provide my bank account details. When I asked why, he just dropped my call.

To make matters worse, I experienced a website crash after paying over RM200 for my orders. Shopee didn't even bother to explain why it happened, so I had to pay at the retail store instead. The first agent who went through my Shopee account even deleted my refund notification, which made me feel like he didn't want me to get my refund.

Honestly, I am so disappointed with Shopee Malaysia. It's hard to believe that a company like this can exist. If someone told me that Shopee was a scam, I would 100% agree with them. They need to hire more reliable and trustworthy agents who can handle customer issues with care and professionalism.

Shopee Disappointing Refund Experience with Shopee Malaysia: Bad Service, Unacceptable Solution

I recently had my second refund issue with Shopee Malaysia and it was not a pleasant experience. I received a defective item and provided images and video proof, but it was not helpful to my case. The seller provided bad service and even threatened me with a bad rating if I did not remove the refund request. Throughout the whole event, the seller never apologized for the bad item they sent. Their customer service manner was really bad and it was a humiliating experience.

To make matters worse, Shopee proposed a solution to return RM200 and keep the defective item, which I found to be unacceptable. The product I bought was worth RM291 and I'm not sure if this was the best solution they could come up with. It was only informed to me and there was no policy of protection for the buyer. It seemed like an agreement between the seller and the platform to make the decision.

After this bad experience, I won't be continuing to use Shopee platform. The refund system takes a lot of time and is very time-consuming. I have to say that Lazada did a much more efficient job on their refund system. As a buyer, I feel much more safe and protected when shopping on Lazada. These are just my two cents on the matter.

Shopee Misleading and Deceptive: My Disappointing Experience with Shopee Malaysia

I recently made a purchase on Shopee Malaysia, and unfortunately, my experience was not a pleasant one. I had ordered a set of Graphic Novels, but what I received in the end was a link to download a digital copy. I was extremely disappointed and felt cheated.

When I tried to dispute the transaction with Shopee and asked them to stop payment to the vendor, I was met with rejection. Shopee claimed that the vendor had delivered as promised, and therefore, they would be releasing the payment to the vendor. I was shocked and frustrated by their response.

Upon reviewing my order, I noticed that there was a small line in the remarks column mentioning that it was a digital copy. However, there was nothing in the title or pictures indicating that it was a digital comic. I felt that this was misleading and deceptive.

To make matters worse, when I tried to leave a review to warn other buyers about this vendor, I discovered that the item was no longer listed. It was clear to me that the seller's intention was to deceive people and then shut down their store to avoid any repercussions.

The whole point of Shopee holding the payment is to protect both the buyer and the seller from being scammed when buying things online. However, in my case, this system failed me. I felt that I would have been better off buying the Graphic Novels from a physical bookstore.

As a result of this experience, I have lost trust in Shopee and online shopping in general. It is disappointing to see that some unscrupulous vendors and money-grabbing platforms are not interested in building a good online business. I hope that Shopee will take steps to improve their system and prevent similar incidents from happening in the future.

Shopee Shopee Malaysia's Poor Customer Service and Irresponsible Handling of Refund Issue

I made a purchase on Shopee Malaysia (shopee.com.my) on February 10th, 2023 from a seller named LuLuMall. Unfortunately, the seller did not send out my parcel and the system automatically cancelled my order on February 16th, 2023. I have had previous experience with Shopee's cancellation policy, which states that they will make a refund within 7-14 working days. So, I waited for two weeks for Shopee to make an auto refund to my bank account.

However, after two weeks, I still did not receive my refund from Shopee. I contacted the seller and they informed me that they had already refunded my money and asked me to check with Shopee. I gave Shopee a month's time to process my refund, but still did not receive any refund from them. Shopee requested me to send my bank account details and bank statements to them for verification and processing of the refund. They asked me to wait for 3-5 working days and then again for another 3-5 working days. But, even after that, I did not receive my refund money.

I tried to contact Shopee's customer service through email, phone calls, and live chat, but there was no proper follow-up or customer support. They always gave me a lot of reasons and excuses, saying that they needed to make a record and send it to their team for processing and checking. They asked me to wait for another 3-5 working days every time I asked them about my refund. It was frustrating to keep waiting for so long and not receiving any proper response from them.

It has been more than a month since I made the purchase, and until today, March 26th, 2023, I am still waiting for my refund. Every time I call Shopee's customer service, they give me the same excuses and ask me to wait for another 3-5 working days. This is not acceptable. Shopee did not take any action to settle this issue and was irresponsible in handling my case. I feel cheated and scammed by this experience.

In conclusion, I would not recommend Shopee Malaysia (shopee.com.my) to anyone. Their customer service is poor, and they do not take responsibility for their mistakes. It is better to avoid such sellers and platforms that do not value their customers.

Shopee Shopee Malaysia's Financial Woes and Unfair Practices: A Seller's Perspective

Shopee Malaysia, the popular online shopping platform, has been facing some tough times lately. According to reports, the company has been losing money year after year since 2015. This has resulted in a shortage of investors and operating capital, which has put the company in a difficult position.

Adding to their woes, Shopee's parent company, Sea Ltd, has lost more than 83% of its share value since October 2021. The stock price has plummeted from $370 in October 2021 to $60 in October 2022. This has further impacted the financial stability of Shopee.

In recent times, Shopee has also laid off many employees, which has caused concern among its users. To make matters worse, the company has started charging some sellers extra commission fees without notifying them. Additionally, they have been randomly banning sellers and buyers' accounts and holding their money in their accounts.

As a seller on the Shopee platform, we have experienced the negative impact of these actions firsthand. Our selling account was suspended abruptly for the reason of selling from a cross-border region. We have contacted Shopee to reconsider their decision, as we have never operated from a cross-border region. However, they have insisted on keeping our account suspended and holding our funds (the payments for products which we sold). This has left us with no choice but to seek legal action.

If you have also had your account banned or restricted by Shopee, we are collecting a list of sellers or buyers whose accounts have been restricted or banned by Shopee. Please email us with your name, the banned account name or store name, and the approximate date on which your account was banned.

We demand that Shopee unban the banned or restricted accounts, pay back any funds that were withheld, and pay back the financial loss we incurred during the period in which our account was banned. We hope that Shopee will take these concerns seriously and work towards improving their services for the benefit of their users.

Shopee Shopee Malaysia's Customer Service: A Nightmare Experience

Shopee Malaysia, oh boy, where do I even begin? Let me tell you, their customer service team is a real piece of work. I mean, seriously, they are the worst! If you ever have to deal with these incompetent humans, my advice is to bring in KPDNHEP and NCCC as early as possible via e-complaint. Trust me, you'll thank me later.

So, here's what happened. I ordered an item from a seller, but unfortunately, I received the wrong size. Obviously, I opened a dispute and requested a full refund and return of the item to the seller. Seems pretty straightforward, right? Wrong. This agent named "Wani" was assigned to my case, and let me tell you, she was a real piece of work. Instead of giving me a full refund and accepting the return of the item, she only gave me a partial refund and asked me to keep the item since it was still in good condition. Are you kidding me, Auntie?! Why on earth would I want to keep a wrong size item, even if it's in super condition?! It's just ridiculous!

But wait, it gets even better. This "Wani" person had the audacity to notify me about her ridiculous solution only after the deadline! Meaning, I was forced to accept the offered solution without being given a chance to disagree! Can you believe the nerve of these people?! It's just shameless!

After going back and forth with emails, "Wani" finally agreed to fully refund my order after returning the item to the seller. But the nightmare didn't end there. Even after providing all the required information, these agents "Wani, Syahidah, Farid Sazali" kept delaying the refund for weeks! I mean, come on, monkeys, if you can't keep your promise, don't make one in the first place. It's just plain dishonest and cheating people's trust and money. And let me tell you, you'll get hell for that.

To all the Shopee staff out there, listen up. You guys seriously lack sincerity, honesty, basic human courtesy, and common sense in your job. If you continue with this attitude, you won't go far anywhere. So, do yourselves a favor and step up your game. Your customers deserve better than this.

Shopee Shopee Malaysia Review: Dispute Team Assistance and Inconvenient Evidence Policy

I recently had a not-so-great experience with Shopee Malaysia. I purchased a power bank that was advertised as having a capacity of ***mAh, but when I received it, it was not the same as the product description. The power bank had 2 LED touch lights and a compass on it, which was not mentioned in the advertisement. Additionally, the capacity was not as advertised.

I contacted Shopee's Dispute Team and was assisted by Shida. She was very polite and understanding of my situation. She asked for proof of the wrong item received, which I provided through email. However, she informed me that I needed to upload the evidence in the chat only.

I was a bit frustrated with this, as I had already sent the evidence through email. But I understood that it was their policy, so I uploaded the evidence in the chat as requested.

Shida informed me that the evidence was important for them to check with the seller. She also gave me a deadline to update them with more evidence to avoid the cancellation of my refund request.

Overall, I appreciate Shida's assistance and understanding of my situation. However, I was a bit disappointed with the inconvenience of having to upload the evidence in the chat only. I hope that Shopee Malaysia can improve their policies to make it easier for customers to provide evidence in cases like this.

Despite the inconvenience, I still trust Shopee Malaysia as a reliable online shopping platform and will continue to shop with them in the future.

Shopee Shopee Malaysia Review: Rollercoaster Ride of Excitement and Frustration

I have been using Shopee Malaysia (shopee.com.my) for quite some time now and I must say that my experience has been quite a rollercoaster ride. Initially, I only used Shopee for food delivery, but gradually I started purchasing groceries, topping up my phone, and even participating in the so-called Shopee prize games. I must say that the marketing team at Shopee did a great job of engaging users with cashback vouchers and games, which made the whole experience quite exciting.

However, things have changed since July 2022. Shopee has removed stack vouchers and reduced the discount entitled with "free" shipping vouchers for buyers. This has made things in the Shopee market more expensive, with mandatory shipping fees that are often much higher than those in real shops. The only time it is worth buying from Shopee is when the seller is making a promotion, and even then, one has to pay shipping fees or a premium to Shopee.

The worst part is that Shopee practices unfair trade by making misleading statements and leaving out important information about the promotion mechanisms and cashback vouchers. The "relevant team" behaves aggressively in suspending accounts with reasons claimed as community rules, especially for those who manage to save more with major cashback vouchers. These big cashback vouchers often require users to click at 0.01 second to checkout, and yet, what follows is not the pleasure of shopping but horrible harassment from the Shopee team suspending the account.

The common tricks from the Shopee team include suspending accounts followed by requesting IC, bank statements, utility bills, etc., which are private and confidential information not related to shopping. However, users are forced to comply as they have Shopee Pay with money and cashback coins. If one accumulates a lot of cashback coins, they are almost certain to get suspended after a payday sale. The moral of the story is to buy at normal times, pay full shipping fees, and not utilize the cashback voucher just to have the convenience of online shopping. None of this contributes positively to buyers because the shipping fees can be unreasonably high for local or even the same town.

In the Shopee farm game, a typical mobile top-up worth RM5 is shown as requiring 5.4 days, but it actually requires water drops of more than 4000 stage 1 + more than 9000 stage 2. One can calculate 3:36 minutes per water drop, which means a lot of time is needed. Minus friend's help and bonus, it takes more than a week of consistent effort, not counting the very low success rate in grabbing the limited seed at 12 midnight/noon. The harvested voucher just vanished when the account is suspended, and Shopee will not refund even if the recovering process exceeded the voucher valid time.

In conclusion, Shopee has succeeded in its marketing strategy of first making our habits and then making us. However, the recent changes and unfair trade practices have made the experience quite frustrating. I would recommend using Shopee only for normal purchases and avoiding the cashback vouchers and promotions to avoid any harassment from the Shopee team.

Shopee Payment

Hi,

I am Eric Foong Chee Soon ([protected]@yahoo.com), a Malaysian, I want to complain about the payment service of shopee.com.my. Please help me.

I made two payments to shoppe.com.my on 10-oct-2023:

(1)RM12.90. order id:231010HKA6QMVD, around 10:40am

(2)RM 44.50, order id:231010HW45MU2J, around 1:35pm

The payments were completed with no error, but I found that the transaction did not have the OTP (one time password) via the sms. That mean the transaction were completed without requesting me to enter otp.

Can you please help to check? For clarification, I never disable the otp in my shopee account and bank account.

Hi Team,

Recently, I was quite disappointed with my experience with shopee. What's worse is that Shopee seems not taking any action against these sellers/issue. There is a quality issue but Shopee team still saying that seller shipped accordingly but as a buyer I received a product that not as per advertised and poor quality. This is seller problem and should approved for return/refund. Moreover, the seller no response to my text even after several follow ups. But the Shopee agent asked me to communicate with the seller directly and closed my return/refund tickets. But how I should communicate since there has no response from the seller!? Shopee Ipad air 2 LCD Panel

Product is defective. Coordinated with the seller about the product and provided unboxing video as well as technical video of attaching the panel to the motherboard of the unit. Provided proof that the item is defective however seller would still like to have "professional help" which they cannot provide without shipping the device back. It will take time and money which they are not willing to provide. After that, providing a 1 star review caused the seller to become unhelpful and said that I caused them a huge loss. And said that they will no longer provide me any service afterwards blocked me. And wont take my chats anymore.

Shopee The delivery man/rider always wants to cancel my order

The rider didn't communicate well with me, He always decided to put my order on cancel already even though I explained it to him the time I will be getting my order because I am not in the house, there's no one in our house to get the parcel. The rider also didn't give me another way of payment, He just decided to cancel it right away and it's kinda frustrating. I just want him not to deliver my parcel, that's it.

Desired outcome: I would like another rider to deliver my parcel. Someone who's considerate and can able to understand me.

Shopee I have bought a product and the delivery man stole the product.

I was at work when the delivery arrived. I asked him to leave it with the security and he replied he would. It was 25th of August. When I returned home, the package was not there. I asked the seller and they told me to ask shoppee to mend the case. I have requested refund, and they told me I have to contact the driver myself, but while doing so revealed that the delivery man was still in possesion of the package. I did as I was told and asked the driver and shoppee told me that they will mend the case if the driver does not reply. I have waited 2 more days to hear from shoppee and they just told me that they can't do anything about this situation because the delivery man left it at security as agreed upon (going back on the fact that they told me the driver was in possession of it). Now normally the seller would use shoppee delivery service and they leave proof of delivery. This one was not shoppee delivery man and he did not leave any evidence.

Desired outcome: I would like to recieve my package that shoppe is making me pay to be robbed.

Shopee Shopee Rider

The rider was VERY RUDE I explained to him why I couldn't pick up his missed calls because I was running some errands (I'm not at home and I was expecting my parcel will arrive next week) he JUST TOLD ME HE WILL CANCEL MY ORDER WITHOUT MY APPROVAL just because I did not pick up the call and he said I DON'T HAVE MONEY! I told him to deliver my package tomorrow because I'm at home the whole day. On the next day, he was still rude via text. He asked for the direction of my house. I replied and he told me I WAS WASTING HIS TIME. I ignored it and just waited for him. He did not reply hours passed. I expected he would not deliver my parcel and I my partner was shocked the driver went inside our gate without our permission and we did not even notice he had arrived. I always have parcels delivered here every week but that's the first time I encountered a VERY UNPROFESSIONAL RIDER.

Desired outcome: Please do something. This rider might been doing this to other customers! This is alarming.

Shopee account suspended with no valid evidence given to me

I've been using shopee for 2-3 years now as both a buyer & a seller. I just received an email from shopee that my account is banned due to "unusual activities". No other explanation was given to me. My seller account has 2000+ followers with over 6000 orders completed successfully I don't think this is any valid reason to suspened an account so suddenly

Shopee Shopee steal from merchants

I have been a merchant with Shopee for about two months. In that time, I have been treated as a piece of garbage by merchant support services. I have tried to get a copy of the rules and regulations for merchants. But, they just get hostile with me. I tried to close my account, they refused. The froze my account and forced me to pay a security deposit to reopen and gain access to my account. No record of the deposit on my account anywhere. I repeatedly asked them to close my account and return my money to me. They refused and again got hostile with me. Merchant support told me that I would never get my money back. This company not only sells crappy products, it is truly a Ponzi Scheme. It is like a black hole. Always sucking money in but never putting it out. This is truly a scam and obviously a racketeering adventure company.

Do not invest in this company. They are crooks and will steal your money.

They have stolen mine and yes I can show proof of merchant support, saying I will never get my money.

This company needs to be banned in the USA. It should be banned throughout the world.

Desired outcome: Just return all of my money to me.

Shopee They keep cancelling my refund request

My order was received at SOC3 on July 28, 2023 and was misrouted to tondo hub instead of antipolo hub, because I love in antipolo, and then it was sent back to SOC3.

Now, it has been 5 days there without any movement. I already spoke with 12 agents and they just keep telling me that they requested the delivery to be expedited and just wait for an update and nothing.

I have requested a refund Instead and they keep cancelling it saying, again, that they have escalated the issue to the logistics and to wait for the delivery again. Imagine, I requested a refund on Aug 1 and my request was cancelled saying that my order will be delivered on or before Aug 2, 2023. Which is logistically impossible. Then, I requested a refund again and was again cancelled saying that my order will be delivered on Aug 4 this time.

I already specifically noted on my request that I don't want the item anymore and I only wanted a refund, but they still cancelled my request.

Desired outcome: Full refund

Shopee Account security

Someone hacked my Shopee Account and Shopee Customer Services has refused to help me and I am unable to correct the altered account information. My name is Stephen A Mowry; my user name is: smowry and my email address is: steve.[protected]@ymail.com. My problem is as follows.

1. My profile has an incorrect telephone number but all other information seems to be correct. (picture uploaded)

2. My address has incorrect name but other information seems correct. (picture uploaded)

3. My delivery address has incorrect name and incorrect telephone number. (picture uploaded)

Note that my account was hacked and the phone number was changed and my first name was changed to Janjira. Ironically, Janjira is my Shopee Customer Service Representative! Below is an email message that I received from Janjira.

Shopee order not receive.

My order SPXMY030784974337 did not receive yet. I ordered 06.07.2023 at 12.59pm and its take too long to delivery. I ordered from Ibycarmall. The seller was quick to prepare to ship my parcel. Its just the courier's problem. The courier take too long delivery the parcel to me. Please make it faster. I want my order ASAP because I want to use it. Please Shopee...upgrade your system so that customer did'nt make complain again.
