Online platform customer service
Requested for return and refund as the product, Asus monitor, does not work on my 3 PCs. Shoppee received and says will send to seller for inspection. Notified me via e-mail on 22/12/2012. Second email received on this same day that says my request is rejected and product will be sent back to me. Called customer service, nothing useful from them. Only standard replies.
Shoppee Pay wallet
I was double-charged when I top up my shopper pay wallet during 11.11.
Then, numerous live chats, calling and emails keep following up on the case. the in charge agent not even reply to my latest email.
All the proof requested had been submitted including bank statement and wallet transaction.
Its been One month, I still get the same answer which is under investigation.
The Agent and customer service is really unhelpful at all.

Shipping issue and agent from customer service live chat
My parcel has arrived at station SO3 and has not moved. I chatted with an agent yesterday who promised to have the parcels prioritized but no action was taken as checked by another agent that I chatted with today. The agent i chatted with today did not want to help and disconnected me when i asked to give me the survey.

This error message pop out when I proceed to checkout or make payment since yesterday night. So, I write to customer service, and i was told that my account is suspended, the email agent asked me to fill up the form and I'll help you to appeal. I really doubt that my account is suddenly suspended and why I need to provide my personal information like copy of identification card to them.
I was requested to return my account balance but the customer service in the phone said need to activate back the account. I really upset and couldn't understand why I need to provide my personal information.

Rude live chat agent
I had some intermittent sound pauses issue with the speaker that I had bought from Shopee. I had brought up the issue to the seller through live chat. The seller asked me for a video recording the intermittent pause. I provided two video. The seller suggested that I could sent the product to its servicing agent or ask for refund through Shopee. I chose for return and refund. I checked with Shopee the procedure for refund through it live chat. The live chat agent, Eilash, asked me for video recording to prove the product was defective. I sent one video which there were 2 pauses in the song track. She said she didn't heard anything wrong with it. I sent it again and she repeated the same. I posted her this question, the seller was convinced that the video I sent proved that their product has some defects, that was why they suggested I sent for repair or refund, AND YET SHOPEE WASNT CONVINCED WITH IT, was the seller selling me the product or Shopee? Unfortunately, the live chat agent immediately left the chat room. Very rude customer service. Below is the video recording of the intermittent pause sound.

This matter was escalated to the relevant team for their investigation and action. Rep, from Shopee, had apologized for the unpleasant experience. At the same time, Shopee has offered $20 voucher for the unpleasant experience encountered. I accepted it and treat this as case close.

December 14, 2021. The delivery boy said that my order was P719, though the product I bought was P365 only. I just want the delivery man's number but the seller did not provide me with what I needed. Jayr. This agent violated my right as a customer and I felt humilated as a person. I have a screenshot of what he told me and hes treating me like a fool and stupid. This agent did not handle my concern very well and have an attitude towards customer. Very rude. And he even ended the chat while im waiting for him to transfer to me a supervisor. The reason im contacting shoppe customer service because I placed an order nov29, 2021 order a lactum 0-6months milk for newborn baby, for my 5months old baby, I ordered it to your flagshipped store with the order number 211129sa3xct0v. My order was paid thru shoppe pay so im expecting that my order will be prioritize since paid thru your app.
Been checking my order time to time and no update from the seller, I even chat the seller to follow up about the shipment and they just said sorry they have high volume orders so meaning regardless if I pay early my order was dismissed since its just one 1 item. I waited until december 2, 2021 and still not ship so I decide to contact the seller to cancel my order since its been 4days already and I can no longer wait because its for my baby and im almost out of stock of milk and I have to buy. Prior ordering milk I ordered some stuff and paid php. 2, 000 so that makes me out of extracash bcoz the last money I have I used it to pay for the milk thru your app. Now heres the real problem comes in. Ive talk to multiple people on december 2 to cancel my order I even begged them to give me atleast php.150 of my money, partial and early refund so that I can just buy a small box of milk for my baby while waiting for the full refund but all of them declined and said they cant do anything I felt so hopeless, why should I have to suffer like this, when in fact its not even my fault. Before I placed my orderd I made sure my babies milk is enough until my parcel arrive but it didnt happend coz the seller is not shipping my order for 4days now. I felt so broken, dissappointed and ashamed of myself coz I need to beg just to get my money, I never begged in my entire life for a small amount but I did for my baby. I know theres a process but theres should be atleast a way to help a customer like me who trusted your app. I spoke to many people, supervisors and managers and was told and promised that on decemeber 2 that day, was the last day that the seller will be given a chance to ship my order and if the seller failed to ship it, will be cancelled rightaway. Although I want to get my refund that day I gave them chance, since all of them told me the same thing I believed them. They said december 2 it will be cancelled and on or before december 4 I will get my refund. I contacted shoppe customer service again to report that agent and luckly I got a nice lady name chen, she explain to me in all honesty whats the current status of the parcel, she told met hat the seller push the shipment and it will still be delivered. She informed me that the courier pick up the parcel today dec4 and its upon my discretion if il refused the parcel or not. So basically all the people I talk to gave me wrong infomartion. So december 2 the seller push the order even theyre 4days behind, all the people I talked to they gave me hope that il be cancelled and il get a refund but I guess not and still have to wait for the shipment. Again I have to wait and suffer more. I hated being lied. I felt cheated for not knowing the truth, they violated my constitutional right as a customer. I have a screenshot of the false promises by the managers I talk to. And the chat from rude jayr he even accused me of cursing him but I did not. Im just airing my frustration and he talkback to me by simply being sarcastic. He dont deserve to be in customer service. I hope that he will be displined coz I cant imagine how many people he mistreated. I want be compensated for all the trouble you guys do to me. Sorry is not enough. I am longer time membership for Shopee, reconginze your corp agressively been provide best serivce in e-comerical beyond other competitor. Recently in Taiwan you are launching store to store service wildely in Taiwan (Norther Taiwan firstly), however one experience from my wife, her purshcased prodcut from shopee can not be located (Yu Ming Branch-Banchiao New Taipei City, 1225~12.35 around pm, 29.Nov, 2021) as excuse from store staff on duty, too busy and no promise when can get back to us when the goods can be located (request us leaving contact information), and for any disatissfaction we can go direct to customer sevice center (done), i can fully understanding this new launch need sometime for transition or adaption, however my disappintment is about is there any improvement or retraining on accountabilty and courtesy for F2F staff. i do believe this will great helpful for your company growing in Taiwan /other market.

in 24 Nov 2021 to buy a Samsung mobile phone A52S.
Last night, I used "contact seller" button on Shopee to ask when it will be delivered to me. Then, a man replied to let me contact sales rep @whatsApp: +[protected]. I did it. A man said if I pay SGD100 for stamp fee firstly, he will delever the phone by 9:30pm same day and return me that SGD100. Because I thought he is a seller of Shopee, I may trust him, so I transfered. But he again asked more SGD150 for some fee, I suspected that he was a liar. He then sent his NRIC and photo holding his NRIC to me. He confirmed this was the last payment. I thought it's true so transfered more SGD150 to him (OCBC bank account: [protected] which he sent me before). After a moment, he again asked another SGD300, I found it fooled and stopped action. I let him return me the SGD250, he refused.
This is my first time to met such a seller in Shopee.sg and I beleive he will repeat the same action to cheat more buyers who trust Shopee. So I ask ban this seller and take legal action to him.
Because Shopee.sg let me lost the SGD250, I request Shopee to return me this money.

Complain about pick up arrangement failed
Shopee arranged a Ninja Van to pick up my delivery on Monday but driver never show up, your coworker Ida said she will reschedule the pick up on Wednesday, Ninja Van said they didn't receive the order, Ida said she put it as emergency case but Wednesday driver didn't show up as well. So Ninja Van schedule a pick up for me today but they said they cannot guarantee the driver will come, it has wasted my four days of time. I'm not dare to leave the house because the driver could come any minute. But the fact is they never ever showed up. What's the problem?

After reviewing the company policy for removing consumer reviews of products, it is clearly obvious that they offer protection exclusively to the sellers. All admonitions for poor products, poor service are directed only at the consumer. It is the single most obvious case of "Caveat Emptor" (buyer beware) that I have have ever witnessed in my life.
Even if the seller is at fault or guilty of fraud there seems to be no way to have them removed or reported due to the limit on negative words or feedback.
Even with a 1 star rating here with many inputs the company has taken no action to resolve simple issues or provide buyers with some protection.
Comparing similar types of complaints with alternate online shopping companies shows a clear difference in attitude towards the consumer.
Shopee is most concerned with generating revenue rather than building consumer trust and confidence. This statement is only my opinion generated by observing publicly available policies.
Desired outcome: modify company policy to provide consumers with more protection from fraudulent online sellers.
