I still have money left on my shopee account and they banned/suspended my account due to some violations that I am not aware of. Their customer service sucks! They copied and paste every single email that they're sending me. We're going around circles and up until now they don't have a resolution. I just want to get my money back. I am requesting shopee to release my funds on my account as soon as possible.

I got the same situation. I tried contacting them 4 times the latest one was a while ago. They cant explain what were my violations. Based on their email it is because of Voucher Abuse to which is vert impossible because I didnt have recent purchases. I have also remaining money in shopeepay. Is this some kindof scam in their part? Part of their initial requirement to appeal is to submit 1 valid govt ID. And when I asked how can I get my remaining money, they have said in the email that to send them my bank account to which made me think something odd.

Same situation, I just put a complaint up here too. (Shopee — 1-strike banning and coins nullifying for using shopee app on physical android x86 device/laptop)

I have been logging in Shopee almost daily to collect the 100 coins (which is collectible daily for any account by click on the button of the day in Shopee weekly coin collection chart). Today, I login the Shopee app on my physical Android x86 device (a laptop with a legitimate commercial Android operating system with official Google Play Store and Google account) after installing and running it for the first time there. There was no warning and anything unusual in the app. However, after clicking on the weekly coin collection chart to collect today's coins, I was kicked out and banned from Shopee. Just like that bam! & snap!, without any warnings and recourse, effectively a 1-strike ban. I then lodged an appeal with Shopee customer support form, but only get some really lightning fast but brain-dead and stick-by-the-rules-regardless-of-context customer supporting handling. Anyway, my main compliant is about the 1-strike banning for collecting what any account would be entitled to collect anyway. Secondary is their customer support is rather superficial as well as their software or business logic is really suspect. In the end, in a few minutes I am banned from my long time account with a tiny existing coin balance of around 6700 coins translating to around 30 US cents. Well good-ridden of Shopee then. Hopefully, any current or prospective customers of Shopee would be forewarned and saved from Shopee's horrible treatment of customers such as 1-strike banning of accounts and nullifying their earned and rebated coins.

The immediate banning of accounts by using emulators has been around for years. I know since I was also a victim of it more than a year ago. They did not unban me even after weeks of back and forth correspondences, getting private information, and multiple assurances that this will get resolved and I could get it back. Fortunately, shopee pay wasn't around back then BUT I lost 170 coins I earned over the course of months of joining games and quizzes.

Unfortunately they won't unban you. My platinum tiered account also suffered the same fate. I ordered last 5.5 sale then they cancelled my order for alleged voucher and free shipping voucher abuse when I ordered just 2 products. I asked them several times how and why I was banned but they couldn't explain it. After several exchange of emails they told me that my offense now is fake order creation and free shipping abuse. I kept asking why and how that happened but still no reply until now. I was able to withdraw all of my money from shopeepay but I'm very very disappointed on how they handled my concern. I still can't believe that they will ban my 4yr old account just like that.

Same situation. Not to mention, their customer service sucks! From the replies, grammar, and robotic macros. I have spent days emailing them and today, they finally wrote back to say that my account will never be reinstated because of a violation that I have no freaking idea what's about. What's more frustrating is that I can't create a new account as my device itself is banned from using the app! I'm so disappointed in them, to be honest. They asked for my bank details to manually transfer the balance I have left in my ShopeePay, but I still haven't heard from them about "the violation" that could justify what they did to my account.

Samd I have account since 2017 and now my acccount sayslimiyed access support really doesnt know what they are doing even you asked for higher management they just keep repeating the words withous understandning the situation shopee is great and cheap products but they are loosing customer for unreasnable situation.

I was banned by Shopee Thailand. a few months ago. I received no explanation even after many inquiries.
Today I received and email stating Shopee needs a copy of my passport.
How is this legal?

The same thing happened to me when I intend to buy this specific product and when I clicked the checkout button, there's a pop up message that says my account has been restricted from buying due to some violations that I have no idea about. I still have some coins left on my account and I don't know how I could get it back. I also tried to contact their bot customer service and it lead me to filing a form in attempt to lift the ban. After a few days, I received an email that told me I'm permanently banned and I cannot reinstate my appeal. :((

My seller account was banned .Today received email notification that buyer request refund. Then communicate with Shopee Malaysia customer service. Asking why refund request by buyer . Shopee Malaysia customer service (Ananthraj) reply with totally no sincerely and simply entertain me and saying SHOPEE SYSTEM WILL SIMPLY ACCEPTED BUYER REQUEST...

I got ban yesterday. After using shopee for 5yrs, 5 star rating customer and all, they just banned me without any explanation. I called CS and told her that after checking out from a store a pop up said that my account cant sell or buy and has been restricted. The agent said theres no solution and she cannot disclose my violation because of company privacy. So what to do now? I think they just hate the idea of people earning credits easily.

were you able to retrieve your account? same problem here.. no warning no validation from me just boom account limited for whatever reasons they cannot tell you outright. Same experience with the CS named Dino.. he even hard-pressed buttons while I'm on hold and waiting on the line.

WE HAVE SAME PROBLEM HERE. I am a Platinum Member and suddenly shopee suspended my account.
Ive read some of the articles having same issue. Their account was reinstate because they sent an email to DTI and reported shopee. Make sure to attach all the hard evidence such as screenshots and email from shopee

File a complaint to DTI, DTI will send you a form.. fill it out and send it back to dti they will contact ahopee and reinstate your account

Hello. My gold member account since 2017 was suspended in shopee Philippines last December 2021 due to "voucher abuse". Their service is terrible. You can "appeal" but they won't even unsuspend my account. They can't even explain the specific reason how the violation occurred. They can't even show some proof hiding behind data privacy excuses. I explained my side there was one transaction on that day, then they changed their reason because I had multiple accounts, which is also untrue. Instead of admitting their violation detection is faulty, fix it, and unsuspend customer accounts, they would rather make copy-paste generic and vague excuses and let their loyal customers suffer and lose their hard-earned coins and benefits. They deserve a class action lawsuit

My device has been banned too. So frustrating. I cant even withdraw my remaining balance in shopee pay. They also say it is voucher abuse but they wont explain further. Great injustice here.

By the way. How did u all withraw ur balances?

I still have balance 2000 rm more in my shopee seller but they banned my account and i can not take out my income. Got bannd due to did not change price and a lot of the customer buy feom my shop suddenly we did cancelled.

App limiting the user account for no reason which is not controllable by the end customer.

Hope shoppee team whats users to create new account for every order. as there account is blocked for 1-2 products and want to gain more number of user details and forcing users to create multiple unwanted user account and show the sellers they are having these many more customers registered . this is terrific idea well done.. these things are observed by all the users .

I have the same situation. My account is suspended because I had a late payment on my Spay. but then again even after I paid it suspension wasn't lifted. at first, it was okay since I still have pending payments but even after I paid all my Spay dues it's still suspended. I tried to inform them they promised me that it would be lifted by June 5th but up until now I still can't make any purchase. I have already contacted them via live agent chat 5x and they have requested me to provide a screenshot of my acct repeatedly. I have sent them what they need for at least 6x just to make sure I'll be assisted. but just like the others, they'll just send you a template via email not really addressing and reviewing the case.

Got banned out of nowhere for Shopee Singapore. Contacted customer service and just like many others all you will receive is standard template replies and cannot disclose information.

Had a lot of coins and seller balance and outstanding orders as well. Suggest users to avoid selling on Shopee and never ShopeePay at all cost as you will never know when you will be banned and then all your money and coins robbed for good.

I went as far as filing a complaint witht the DTI Philippines.

Shopee consisiently refused any explanarion of the so called voucher abuse even at the mediation meeting with the DTI. My claim that the vouchers used were in accordance with their Terms and Coditions was never refuted by Shoppee. They refused to explain which vouchers were misused and how. Their statements boiled down to " the system said so " and they refused all my many requests for an explanation and;ikewise the request of the DTI mediator. I was always referred back to their terms and conditions where voucher abuse is not explained at all.

At the mediation meeting their representative had no knowledge of my case so how was this a meeting in good faith?

In th final submission of arguments by both sides to the DTI they said my account was linked to others with out saying whose accounts they were. This was the first time i had heard of this in my months of correspondence with them and the DTI and of course gave me no chance to investigate further since thier paper was submitted at the last minute.

Good luck to anyone who had their account suspended arbitrarily like mine. Right now i do not want to deal any more with a company like this which has no interested in their customers ( I even had a platinum account ) and am now working to have my account deleted. Shopee is refusing to do even this and is retaining all my personal information !

That was alot of effort to raise it to the DTI. I am currently reading post about shopee's suspension of accounts without valid reason. I thought of raising it to the DTI. Now that I have read your story, I will no longer raise the issue to the DTI. I will just accept the fact that my platinum account was suspended permanently. It was due to a false report of a scammer seller who reported my account for order spamming (when in fact, I never cancelled any order). Seller sent me a defective item. I returned the item (with proof). Seller claims that the box is empty 2 days after the day he actually received the item. Hence, he did not refund my money. Worst, I received an email from Shopee suspending my account. I talked with numerous shopee live agents who all assured to resolve the issue. But, they are all liars. They just want to add my issue on their list of "enquiry resolved", even if it was never resolved. Shopee does not conduct thorough review, despite their assurance of it. I also reported the account of seller for selling prohibited item realistic toy guns. He is still selling on Shopee. Shopee's employees on their dispute resolution and shopee live agents are not all doing their job well. Now, I will be more cautious in transacting on shopee.

I am experiencing this right now… they say according to their system I have a linked account that has Spaylater due. I dont use spaylater and I have shopeepay balance in their system. They refuse to tell me how much i have to pay because of security reasons. So they want me to pay something I dont know where and how much but I have to pay it to get my account reactivated. Its a very stupid discussion.

You might not get banned only if you have verified your acc. Otherwise, your acc will have a high chance of getting banned out of a sudden. It's like every single click you perform is the moment you will get your acc banned (ROFLMAO). CS will just do [censored]. They can't even answer why you got banned. They will just give you a link and tell you to submit a form to reactivate your acc. Personal experience. Trust it or not, it's up to you. Shopee sucks, a lot!

Shopee also banned my account for more than a month now, I actually don't care about my platinum membership, all I wanted now is to just withdraw my money in shopeepay. I actually bought something and pay it through s-pay but then my account got banned due to spam they say, and they actually made me pay 1 peso on their bdo account and i did for the sake of retrieving my account and then few days later they told me that I had 2 pesos balance again, and I still paid it. And know what? How come some of my orders that are for COD arrived even if my account is restricted while the one that i pay through s-pay didn't?. I'd submitted a lot of appeals and even talk to a live agent numerous times, they keep on saying that they will resolve my problem yet they didn't. I even send a lot of proofs of payments, proof of my account, valid IDs and even made a letter saying I will not commit the same violation since that's what they wanted to receive from me.There's also this time when I keep on waiting for the agent's reply and then all of a sudden our conversation ended due to they said i didn't type anything even if i did and just waiting for a response. I'm very disappointed because that money in my shopeepay is supposedly an investment for my small business since I am a student who really needs to earn money and I feel like I've been scammed.

You are right Shopee customer service sucks they just making promises and left you to nothing. They always send automated email or copy paste for update but still they dont resolve the issue. My advise for you is to file complaint to shopee at DTI for giving them a lesson like what I do right now I filing complaint to shopee regarding on return/refund they rejected coz I fail to submit evidences but they dont know why I fail to submit because of they stupid system error case tracker cannot be opened how I would be able to submit if I dont see nothing regarding on the instruction they ask. Honestly [censored] off shopee i will sue you

My account and spaylater got restricted last November 2021 and their reason was "voucher abused" and "multiple account". Tried to contact their customer service but they kept on being vague. I was so frustrated so I filed a complaint to DTI and shopee( sent an email with file explaining in detail what happened with screenshots). DTI gave them 2 days to settle with me. After 2 days, shopee confirmed that they lifted my account suspension (no explanations included). I was able to use my shopee account again but not spaylater. I didn't push to reactivate this since I'm already tired complaining haha. My tip probably for users who want to send an appeal: (1) Be very detailed on what happened, provide concrete evidences such as screenshots of your activity in the app and conversations with shopee. (2) Point out those alleged violations thrown, that you need explanation and challenge them. Plus points if you can make it sound like it's their systems fault (I was only fortunate because I'm on IT industry). (3) Specify and elaborate what's their possible violations (I spend time scanning violation of consumer act of Phils. I didnt read the whole but only find sentences related to my complaint and use it against them).
